I was impressed. Menards had the product we were looking for. We had to search briefly for an employee, but when we found one, suddenly we had three. The salesperson that we ended up with was extremely accommodating and helpful and sensible. Our cashier also was excellent. She took the time to explain the rebate process to us and the even explained how we could follow up on a missing rebate that we had.

Good selection of products. Employees are willing to help, even tell you hello when walking past. One thing I’ve noticed in this menards is that their carts could be replaced as they’re rusty. Also it’s a struggle to get the bathroom stall doors locked. The bathrooms are always far from clean, and it’s never fun to realize there’s no toilet paper in your stall.

Pretty decent store. You can find the vast majority of home improvement items you might be looking for, plus they have some snack and grocery aisles.However, there are four things in particular I dislike about this store.1. The way they have the entrance and exit set up on opposite ends of the store is frustrating, and I dont quite understand what the logic is behind that. This means you can only potentially find close parking for when youre entering or leaving. One way or the other youre walking across the parking lot.2. They only keep the flatbed carts in the garden center, which is at the complete opposite end of the store from the entrance. This makes no sense.3. I dont know if the this location is understaffed or if they dont have enough department-specific employees, but on many days it is very difficult to find a store employee if you need any kind of assistance.So basically, between these three points, if youre going to shop here then expect to be doing a lot of unnecessary walking.4. They play their Menards jingle way too repeatedly. If you spend 20 minutes in there youll hear it at least a dozen times. I get that this is almost certainly the point. It gets stuck in your head. But thats also the irritation of it.

It was good, customer service was very helpful in leading me to the right area, and allowed me to leave a package at the desk while I was shopping, and checked out my purchases after I finished

Even though the store is big and I dont like going there because you have to go in the back and pick up lumber. It does have a big selection can you usually can find what youre looking for we did find a good lawn mower for good price.

Ordered windows a couple months back and one came in broken. Went to get it reorder and they charged US 11% for the same window. We didnt give a refund for the broken window and this window should have been replaced FOR FREE since THEY broke it!! They also claimed that they were being nice by marking it down to the original price! What?!? Not to mention that our project is now 2 months behind because that is the fastest they can get us our replacement window... If youre thinking of going to Menards to save big money, go to Lowes!

Helpful staff, had to ask for help due to some items not in the expected area. Fit area they were in, so may have been me. I have never been a fan of rebates, hence the 4 stars, rebate is store credit only, so if you dont shop there often its not true savings.

Lowes of Jefferson City MO would like to thank you for not allowing us in your communist China mask mandated store. They sure liked the money we spent with them and we had no hassle from the employees at their store about a mask. They are not anti-American unlike your store. But hey its your store to ruin, stick with communist choice to bot let unmasked people in.

Menards is my go to home improvement store. They have most of what I need at the prices I can afford to pay. Staff is helpful and not pushy

I will never purchase from Menards again. No mask no entrance but they will sell you one for 42 cents. But dont worry... if you have children they are not required to wear a mask because you see children inhale and exhale air differently than adults.

Was so happy that Menards has been spreading out from their home territory, Menards is a Wonderland in so many ways for the DIYers and decorators-in-making. The variety of goods is stunning, tools, lumber, flooring, fencing, decking, lighting, decorative stone, auto supplies, doors, plumbing, appliances, if you can think of it, they probably have it. They even have a variety of snacks and convenience foods because, well, why not?! They have projects youve probably never even thought of, and a variety of home entertainment needs for mounting TVs, speakers. They have indoor and outdoor lumber yards, with a drive through barn where you dont have to stand in the rain to get loaded up.

Very nice female associate in lighting was extremely helpful. Made choosing light n light bulbs easy!

This store is average in overall rating its service, selection and prices. Some give and take aspects within that criteria similar to their competition. I have to admit however, I have had multiple negative interactions with management. They are not very attentive to customers and seem to have an instant defensive approach to their management tactics. I had to give up on an argument once where I wanted to buy a super sale priced, discontinued heat pump water heater (showed one in stock online) I found it with stock number written on box high up on the rack. The young dept staff didnt seem to understand my request and claimed hes only seen the new models and the one stock was the display most likely. I asked for a manager who refused to listen to my claim and reason I believe its available. He came to defend dept staff and claimed it was absolutely the display and they are hollowed out non functioning units for display only (thats not true). I asked if they could please just check the box on the rack that was clearly labeled as the correct unit advertised. One in stock, new in box, seems like a rational and logic probability its the one. They would not even pull it down and the mgr came up with several other weak excuses to support that its not the one. Damaged return, inventory error, and the fact they work there and I dont so I couldnt be correct, or wouldnt. I took that $900 to home depot and explained this story and was given $300 off the equivalent model they sold. Thats service

Stopped into the Menard’s in Jefferson City, MO today about 2:15 PM. Walked all over this store and NO ONE stopped me to tell me I needed a mask. Filled my cart with my purchases which were somewhere around $100. Got up to checkout and was told I’d have to purchase a mask before I checked out!! That is the most asinine thing I have ever been told!!! That I cannot checkout without a mask on. Come on people! I thought Menard’s sold American made products? I guess they too have bought into the China hoax. Sad. Really sad. Wake up!!!

Love shopping there. Many items to choose from and look at, give good variety and prices.

Not going to give this company my business. Its bad enough that i was forced to capitulate to this hysteria by getting the vaccine to keep my lively hood. Ill NEVER shop here again. Period. Awful customer service. Employee came up to us without social distancing and told us to BUY a mask or leave. Then she kicked us out. She acted like an entitled little bully. If you require a mask, you provide a mask. Every store in this town provides a mask to their customers at no charge.

Front end at the entrance does not get vacuumed very often, it seems and it took a while to get engagement from a team member. Although, the one team member that did engage me was knowledgeable of what I was shopping for.

Found everything I needed..ask a sales person to get me a good ten ft piece of wood, making a boot rack for my girlfriend wanting a nice piece but of course got home had messed up spots and bad marks on it. This is a typical problem...

Place a special order back on July 30th and it was finally delivered at this store on Wednesday August 26th. Went to pickup my order and they cant find it and they failed to put a location number to it when it was recieved. This is not the first time this has happen to me at this store location. But I can ensure you it will be the last time because I will never place an order with this store again. I will order the product from somewhere else.

Menards has a variety of things for sale and some funky stuff you wont find unless you are a late night Tv info watcher. But you do need to shop around. Some things can be found cheaper elsewhere. Products tend to be off brand items which I have found may not last as long as a well known brand. The 11% rebate is nice but I would prefer them dropping the prices across the board that much rather than having a rebate check I can only use at the store. If you are a Vet, other stores such as Lowes and Home Depot also offer 10% off. This is right off the price at purchase, no waiting 6-8 weeks for a rebate card

Menards is amazing. They have friends sales associates around every turn. If your a tradesman or a novice they make it so easy to find what you need at great prices. I love getting my kids outdoor activities from Menards because over by the cash registers there are isles of amazing family fun activities for low prices.

I went through the whole store without a mask I am medically unable to wear one. I have a letter from my medical doctors stating that I cant wear one in my service dogs vest. And these people were very rude and not understanding at all. Will never be back.

Bought bathtub at Jeff.City store charge me almost double now they are holding my money cant talk to anybody with authority been back twice no answers!

The employee that took my cart was very kind and will love to come back soon!!

Poor customer service when checking on an item that was a significant amount more than what was posted on the area that I grabbed it from. Acted like I put the item there to pay less of a price, I informed her I thought they were scrap pieces of metal that they were trying to get rid of. Maybe next time apologize that they were put in the wrong bin would be an appropriate response...and make sure your items are where they are suppose to be.Employee name on my receipt was Erin.

I went there this morning hoping to go in and go out real quick and of course theres all sorts of things there to catch your eye and make you want to buy its a mess mat mass of food tools utensils Hardware paint shirts all sorts of crazy stuff but if you have 3 hours to spend there and you like to park your car I want any of the building and go in and come back out the same door you can the exit is all the way at the end of the store a football field away not good for some of us that have physical difficulties like I am a disabled vet kill me to walk around the store to get the things I needed football field in One Direction football field in another but lots of cool stuff fairly good selection of lumber and Moes DYI projects

Asked to leave on Mothers day for trying to bring my toddler in with me. Was greeted with a sign stating you have to be 16 to enter the store. Discraceful. Whoever determined this was a good policy to implement should consider what family friendly means.

Great store carries so many products and great customer service

Not impressed. Almost fell when walking into the store. They have rubber around the carpeting and a large piece of the rubber was sticking up. I didnt see it and tripped over it. The employee I talked to responded by just saying okay. I didnt expect her to leave her register but I did expect her to call someone, say I will make sure it is taken care of. But thats a safety issue and I have a disability and if I did fall it would definitely be a problem

We were in the local menards looking at fencing. The clerk left, the 5 remaining clerks wouldnt help us. They were all too busy clustering around a screen watching a video.... We felt disenfranchised.

Went in was told i needed to put on a mask ok where are they well we will sell u one if u dont have one. nope not gonna happen u made the rules if u want people to continue shopping your store then provide the mask or dont question it pretty simple. any other stores provide them if needed

Lately they are more focused on their covid 19 requirements than they are on customer service. Customer service has dropped 110%. Very much considering taking my business elsewhere.

Menards is my go to for a lot of my specialty tools. This particular one is a little tricky to find if youre not familiar with the town.

This will be last time I am in Jefferson city Menards.. The world is just lost its mind.. If it was 60 degs out I would have no problem... Employees are kind and helpful. They offer appropriate pricing. As a gardener, my only complaint is that they closed off the garden entrance. This is inconvenient and for this reason I no longer buy garden items here.

Customer service is awful. Their return process is a joke. They are soo concerned about what door you enter in or if you’re wearing a mask. Will never go there again.

Made a quick stop for flashlights and water for a hot summers day tour through the state prison. We were in and out in no time flat. The employees were friendly and helpful and the store was kept in a very clean manner and very well organized. Very nice on the outside as well, no garbage blowing through the parking lot or rogue shopping carts. Very nice Menards location indeed.

I went to Menards to get an electric fence energizer on 3/9/18. First, the only menards employees I saw were the girl at the entrance and the cashier. So I spent about half an hour figuring out where it was. Once I found it I noticed there were staples holding the package together. I didnt think about it at the time. When I got home it was obviously a return that didnt work that was put back on the shelf.There is absolutely no way to talk to a customer service rep .. you have to send them an email which they may or may not answer.I am 67 years old and live on a very limited income. It is also about a 35 mile round trip to Menards. So the end result is that a $26 item is going to end up costing me $35-40 .. but I guess in this day and age that is just my tough luck. A word of warning.. check packaging carefully so this doesnt happen to you.

Ive yet to meet an unfriendly employee here and Ive been shopping at this store since they first opened it. The employees always go out of their way to be helpful to me. Im disabled and it means a lot to me.This place is great to just come in a get a few things then leave if you are in a hurry. I could easily spend most of a day here.

Asked associate at door about water softeners. She pulled up on computer and discussed different softeners then called another associate and had him meet me in aisle where softeners were located. After selection they found cart and loaded softner. At check out another associate took to my pickup and loaded. What more could you ask for. Awesome
