A true gem. The owners are a delight to work with. Seem to be able to fix any clock. We have taken 3 there, and we dont even live that close. Once repairs are made, Mr. Welsh gives instructions on how to take care and prevent mishaps with what he has fixed.

I have had all my antique clocks repaired and light fixtures rewired and repaired at the Clock Shop for several years and have always had great service at very reasonable rates. Trust and great service are everything. The Clock Shop is a fine example of why buying local is the best way to keep our communities intact.

If you want/need to have a clock repaired, this is the place to do it. I had an old Sessions wind-up clock repaired (broken spring and several bushings bad) and a replacement battery powered movement with chime on another clock. Very reasonable prices. Friends of ours have had several old clocks repaired here as well, and they recommended this place to us.

I took my late fathers cuckoo clock to the Clock Shop for repair. The first trip it came home with one of the weights changed out to a much larger one. Why? It was supposed to help the music play faster, but the music never played fast in the first place. The second time it came home with a smaller weight in that location that looked nothing like the original. I now had a clock with two original weights and this odd looking weight. On the third trip all three of the weights were changed out to these odd looking weights. To this day it breaks my heart to look at my fathers clock with these cheap, cheesy weights hanging from it. I will never sell it, but not having the original weights greatly decreases the value of this clock!

Poor workmanship. Cheap parts that never worked. Allen took original hands and replaced them with wornout junk. Replaced a quartz movement with an inaccurate cheap junk movement I took my Weems and Platt to a real clock repair.

Allen and Marilyn are the bezt.
