Do not buy a piñata from this place! I rarely post reviews but I had to go back in because I was charged twice for something. Tho they where apologetic, I wonder how often it happens considering my pinata lasted one 3 year old. Turns out it was held together by double sided tape

When putting in orders, they tend to have a lot of excuses. It could be certain employees of course, but working customer service in the partakes me believe they should try harder to keep keep business open.

They were so rude they said they were really busy and they had no one in the store besides a old lady and 4 workers and said they could only fill up 10 balloons because they were “busy” and workers had bad attitudes horrible service

I recently had a Halloween party and needed to do some shopping. I stopped here to get a few things and this store is definitely a little over priced. I understand that they are a small local place and need to make their money but, I think they could lower their prices a little bit more and still succeed. I do like their clearance and holiday sections and have definitely bought a few things there. Everything is laid out nice inside the store, which is nice. I would recommend going there to check things out!

Slow service, workers that cant count, and dont understand simple instructions

Found merchandise in the area where everything is discounted got to the cash register they said that those items were not discounted. The workers need to patrol other areas around the store to make sure that if items are out of place they get put back so its not misleading when it comes time to pay for those items the people there were very rude and inconsiderate and did not honor the sale price. We will never go back there again

So heres my story of what took place today (3/17 @9:30am). My sister in law asked us to pick up balloons for her daughters birthday party. She said the lady on the phone, who she placed the order with said we could pick up at 9:30am. The party was starting at 10am, so she placed the order. I arrive at 9:30 on the dot, and see that they dont open until 10am. So I figure they might allow pickups early, and knock on the door and look through the window. 3 girls are busy filling balloons behind the counter. One of them decides to yell 10 OCLOCK while standing 20 feet from the door. I yelled back why I was there and waved her over to the door to talk to her, and figure out if I could pick up the balloons. Again she yells 10 OCLOCK. I tell her I was told 9:30 pickup and waved her to come to the door again. The three of them decide its better to turn their backs and ignore me. At that point I got back in my truck and left. I ended up having to buy balloons at Loglis instead. Now, what they should have done is at least walk a couple feet from the door and explain to me that they dont open the doors till 10, and apologise for the misunderstanding about the pickup time. Im an adult, not a child, dont treat customers like children. After the party we went back to pick up the balloons my sister in law paid for, so I asked my wife to go in instead. She stands at the counter while 2 of the girls are having a conversation, ignoring her. So she goes over and grabs the balloons herself, and thats when the girls decide to do their job. While finishing up my wife asks for a balloon bag, and the girl says they dont have any. I dont know if thats true or not, but it seems at this point they just dont care. She then asks them about the pickup time, and the girl behind the counter sticks the receipt in my wifes face and says pickup 10 OCLOCK, it says so on the receipt.Now, when my sister in law ordered, she made sure she could pickup at 9:30, because the party started at 10, and she wanted to make sure the balloons were there before it started. If she was told she couldnt pickup until 10, she would have never made the order.Ive used 50/50 for supplies for years, but after the way these employees treated us today, Im morally obligated to not shop there anymore.On a side note, the girl behind the floral counter at Loglis this morning was wonderful, she dropped everything she was working on and made a great balloon arrangement very quickly, and she treated us the way normal customers should be treated. I highly recommend Loglis for basic balloon arrangements.Hopefully this review will help make changes at a store that has been in Janesville a very long time.Edit: corrected the date to Sunday 3/17

My favorite place to get party decorations! They have a great selection for any party.

Poor service. Picked out balloon, paid for them. Called 3 days prior to confirm pickup. Was told I would have to wait they would inflate when I arrived. Wont return.

Items are limited for certain party themes and it’s also very pricey! We bought some PJ Masks table covers for $6 EACH and later we found them at walmart for $2.60!!! Helium balloons with cartoom characters or even just plain “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” balloons range from $8 - $20!!! Since it’s supposed to be cheaper than other party stores we didn’t even think to go to Walmart first. However next time we will definitely check other stores first! PS; the employees weren’t very welcoming or helpful either 🤨

I went there to buy items for my school since I was doing a tour with the freshmen, I was unsure of what my theme for my tour would be, there were so many options, I ended up choosing a Mexican theme. There was balloons, candy, and decorations for parties and Halloween!

Asked an employee for help and they had no idea so we went and asked another employee. Found the other employee who was busy. The first employee turns to me and says sorry shes busy...I dont know if we have what youre looking for. Um, really? Not likely to go back.
