The concept of customer service and general human decency is utterly lost on whatever Neanderthal answered the phone a few hours ago when I called to ask them if they had a certain item in stock. This is, verbatim, the exchange we had:Me: “hello, I was calling to see if you guys had Aperol.”Woman who answered the phone: “I don’t have time to help you over the phone I have too many people in the store.” *click*I get that it was NYE and it was busy but the correct response, madam, would have been “we are a little busy at the moment and I’m just finishing up with some customers. Can I put you on hold for a minute and then I can go check?”Try it next time, you may not lose business that way.
