Awesome, polite and honest workers! I needed a headlight replaced and they squeezed me right in! The screw was stripped to change bulb and needed to do extra work in order to replace bulb. Wow, never had better auto service - ever!. We had a breakdown with our Mercedes Sprinter. Jason Green, the shop manager, opened the shop early, ordered the necessary repair parts and serviced our vehicle, in an incredibly professional and though manner.Repair work was excellent, the service beyond excellent, allowing us to get back on the road in short order.... all at a very reasonable cost.

No issues. Price was fair. This location needs twice the parking.

Excellent service every time I’ve gone there. Jason, Nathan and Matt are very friendly. Theses are the 3 main ones I’ve dealt with. They’re very honest about what I’ve needed and never told me I needed something that wasn’t true. They all have a sense of humor which is a plus in my book and I’ve never had to take my car back for a shoddy repair on it. I’ve had that happen to me at other places including the dealer. I’ll continue to bring my car here as needed. You’ll never find this kind of service elsewhere.

Will absolutely use their services again. Everyone on staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. The DM, Eric, happened to be there that day and was especially helpful in my situation.One recommendation I have is to ask for the printed bill before paying. The original amount given to me did not have the online discount of buy 3 get 1 free for the tires I chose. Once I pulled it up online Eric honored the discount without hesitation. I was given the revised total and paid. After payment I was given itemized billing receipts and my keys. Later that night looking at the bill I saw I was charged for the premium installation instead of standard - which is what Id selected when booking and is on my appointment estimate- a $10 difference/tire, not a huge deal, but something I would have seen had I been given a itemized bill before paying. After looking at the service, it is a good upgrade that Im going to keep. Having tires rotated twice, it pays for itself. BUT, I would have rather had it explained and given the option to upgrade rather than find after I left and feel somewhat duped. Im sure it was likely an error, but again, had I asked to see all charges before payment I would be feeling better about the transaction.

Terrible ...I called the other day to setup an appointment for today. The tires show up in their computer but they dont have in stock..they tried to sell me 2 General tires that are a different manufacturer than whats on my truck and they were more expensive.....bait and switch....

My day was jammed with appointments and obligations when I realized my car was three weeks out of inspection. I had 6-7 businesses to choose from to perform the inspection, and had heard from other people that Monro on Fairmount was good. I called them up in the morning asking for the first available time, not expecting to even get in that day. They said they had a noon appointment that same day. Needless to say I took it with jubilation! Once there, they got my car in right away and were done in record time, and it was not expensive! AND the guys there are SUPER nice and helpful. Thank you Eric and Jason for superb customer and car care. I will definitely be telling my friends to go to Monro Muffler on Fairmount Ave in Jamestown, NY! :) :) :)

These guys are the best! They are always able to get your vehicle serviced quickly. I really appreciated how fast they changed my battery out with this last cold snap we had. Stated it would take a hour to balance and mount two tires ended up taking two hours to mount and balance all four.

My husband and I will never go there again. He brought his truck in yesterday to get his new tires mounted and balanced.... well after it was all done he drove about a mile down the road and couldn’t drive anymore, he had to pull into a parking lot. They never tighten the lug nuts so one of his tires almost fell off (one of the lug nuts actually fell off when his truck was pulled out of the garage). Thank god he pulled into auto zone so he could buy a socket to put the lug nuts on the best he could. He called Monroe and told them what happen and they said they would send somebody down to his location, almost an hour went by and no one came down so he had to drive his unsafe truck back to Monroe for them to do it the right way.

These guys looked up at you and said hello with a smile! They were quick, accommodating and friendly. Went the extra mile. ATTENTION repair shops .... you can learn something here!

I had an oil leak just before traveling home to Rochester. I went in just before closing. They took it in and found a rusted oil filter. Even though I get the oil changed every 5000 miles, the filter as not getting changed. I expected the worst but got great news. They got it fixed and got me on the road. Great crew!

Car had a misfire. They worked on it for 2 hours while we waited and finally told us they replaced the plugs and coils but still had the same issue. We took the car to another garage and they found 1 plug boot with a big tear, the very one the guys at Monro “replaced”.Don’t waste your time and money here, find someone who is educated and cares about their customers.

They did a wonderful job! I came in with a heat shield that fell off and they got it fixed right up for me in no time!!

Went out of town on vacation and something happened to the car. I had to get my car fixed before I could think about going back home. I was panicking and not sure what to do but when I found this location I felt like I was back at home with my mechanic. I couldn’t have been anymore thankful than I am for their help. The employees who work here at this location provided incredible customer service! The employees were fast, helpful, efficient and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for better service in my time of need. Truly thankful for them and I definitely recommend their service!

Went here for an alignment and 4 tires mounted and balanced. After almost 2 hours after sitting there I left, my car was pulling to the right so obviously the alignment was not done correctly. Get in my car today (the next day) to take my daughter to work and one of my tires are flat! Yep... great job! I will be letting everyone know about the non-service I got here. Never again!

They failed to disclose the actual problem with my car! I went in there and asked then to evaluate my exhaust and let me know everything that needed to be fixed. They informed me that it was my muffler and that it was leaking fumes in my car, being 34 weeks pregnant I wanted to get this resolved as soon as possible so I told them I would have to schedule an appointment 2 weeks out so I have time to save the money. The day of the repair comes and I go to pick up my car and it still smells like exhaust and its still very loud. I spoke to the assistant manager because they told me the manager wasnt there and they told me its because my exhaust manifold was failing, which they never informed me of. They also said that they dont do that repair there, I believe this is why they never informed me so I would pay for the muffler instead of getting the actual problem fixed. So now I dont have the money to fix the actual problem.

I was skeptical at first, because Monro doesnt have the best reputation in Buffalo (Pep Boys was my personal favorite right off the 290). But I went in for a Wheel Balance due to vibration, it was a quick fix, and at a very low price ($25 for all 4 wheels!). They also have wifi and are in a shopping center as well. Good place to go for car troubles. They are open on Sundays too, which is a huge plus since many other auto shops are closed that day.

It was easy to make an online appointment. It is great that you can come on weekends. The service was excellent.

Used to go there all the time but the turnover there has brought in some poor mechanics over the years. Went in a few years ago to get the exhaust system replaced...they reinstalled the heat shield wrong and it melted my fuel line. Went back and got the fuel line replaced....they didnt fix the heat shield so it melted again. Took it back and Jason fixed it himself at no cost to me. Last fall, I had a check engine light issue and 2 times I went in to get it fixed and neither time did the job. I went elsewhere and they fixed it right the 1st time. Heres the thing...before my 1st Monro Appt, I had gotten a test at AutoZone and I gave it to the mechanic at Monro when I brought it in. The AutoZone test was disregarded. When I took the car elsewhere to fix it, they found the issue...was exactly what AutoZone recommended....without the AutoZone results. The testing equipment at Monro may need replaced if they cant find the issue the 1st time....or even the 2nd time

I brought my car here on the 4th of July for an oil change and inspection. I got the bad news, although not unexpected, that my brakes would not pass inspection. These guys not only made room in a busy day to get it done but got it done quickly!Im currently in between shops because of the retirement of my previous mechanic. I would definitely recommend this place as a result of todays experience.

I was attending a memorial service with my family on a Saturday in August. My vans battery overheated and boiled over. I drove to this Monro Dealer and received prompt service. In addition to replacing the battery, they cleaned the engine compartment AND installed a missing cap for my radiator coolant. Total time only took about 45min. I highly recommend them for their great service.

Had appointment at 1pm sat there for little over hour 3 more people showed up with appointments at 2 and 230 they all got taken in my truck still sitting outside then a walk in showed up around 315 and they also got theres in before me I said f this place drove to Dunn tire they felt bad a d I was in and out in 45 minutes I will never go back to monroe!!And this is actually 0 ☆star review wouldnt let me choose 0 star

I had the best experience here tonight with the help of Nate and Jason! My headlight needed to be replaced. I went to autozone but the associate was unable to reach the bulb. She suggested I run over to Monro. I am soo glad I did. It was 10min to closing time so I wasn’t sure what to expect. They were friendly and kind! They took my car right in didn’t even charge me just wished me a happy holiday! They even were able to quickly fix my stereo that was stuck in demo mode. I have never had such great service without feeling like I was being taken advantage of. I will definitely be returning for future automotive needs and will continue to speak of my great experience. Jason and his crew defenitly know the meaning of customer care. Everytime Ive needed anything done they do it with a smile, no matter how big or small the job may be. Once again they have saved the day giving me quality service at a reasonable price.

Its horrible being a young girl walking into a shop and the mechanics look at you as easy prey to over sell to. Every time I go here they will list me off 20 things wrong with my car and give me a quote. There is nothing wrong with my car, please stop trying to make an easy buck off me!! Sat there for over an hour when they told me they could get me in right at 5. Will never come here again!!

Very very good i jad a flat tire away from home i live in maine working in newyork just bought brand new tires in maine before i came down was a hole in my side wall and they couldnt get me a tire to match my new so i had a brand new spare they replaced it for me in 5 min and i was on my way. With no appointment walked in 15 mins before they closed wow thats service thanks Monroe tire

Went for an oil change and tire rotation. Marked my tires to see if they would be rotated and they were not rotated. Good thing I wasn’t charged for it.

The garage employees are very nice and helpful but the Managements all about the money no other Solutions except for the expensive ones

Great inexpensive oil changes. You need an appt, and its not as fast as the quick lube but definitely worth it.

Never going back here. The technician put my tires on so tightly they broke the ball-baring in my left front wheel. Had to take it to the dealer in Buffalo to get it fixed. I was going to let it go, but today I find out they also screwed on the oil plug so tightly a new one will have to be ordered. Cost me 1300$ to fix everything they broke. Just bad service and frustrating repairs, 15% off an oil change isn’t worth this mess.

There service is just awesome. Very professional and they always solve the problem. No matter what it takes. I really want to give a special shout out to the management. Especially Jason green who has went above and beyond, many of times and that is why I will always go to Jason Green at Monroe muffler.

Dropped my vehicle off for an inspection and they noticed my wiper blades werent in good condition and replaced them. When I checked out there was no charge for the blades, they didnt realize I already had purchased other ones. Thank you Jason and team!

I made an appointment for a simple state inspection and gave them the year, make and model of my car (2015 Mitsubishi). My appointment was confirmed for the next morning, 9:30am. My fiancé took time off work to take it in and was then informed that they dont have the stickers for the 2015 cars yet. Completely unprofessional and a total waste of our time. We will not be returning.

Got me in and fixed my problem on my car this sunday. They are great😀😀😀.

My elderly mother went in for a simple NYS inspection after I a NYS licenced inspector, (not working at a inspection station) told her her car was safe and would pass no problems. They proceeded to fail the vehicle claiming the tires were bald and gave her a quote for new tires with a big smile. She called me in tears and I told her to go somewhere else, which she did and surprise surprise it passed with flying colors. She than told the new inspection station that she had just failed an inspection due to bad tires and the inspector laughed and told her that they where trying to take advantage of her.

Everything was fine. Efficient and fast service.
