This is literally the worst store I’ve ever been to. You’d think that a moving company would be more organized. Not only have I been in the store to witness the general manager needing to do absolutely everything for their employees because they weren’t aware of how to do things. However, I’ve now also been trying to get in contact with them for 3 days. They will not answer the phone and there is no answering machine. During one of these phone calls instead of answering, they put me on a silent hold for 30 minutes. I’m now on the phone with uhaul’s call center even though I know they will be unable to do what I need the actual store for.
I don’t leave reviews, but I’m hoping in giving an honest review, the employees at this U-Haul location will be able to receive constructive criticism and step up their game. I called this u-haul just trying to find out if it were possible to have my u-box container changed from me picking it up to getting it delivered. I was on hold for about 15 minutes, once someone did answer they had to transfer me to the scheduling department because she didn’t know, on hold for a couple more minutes, and once I got to the scheduling department the man who answered couldn’t even answer my question! He had to take down my information/question and assured me someone would call me back. A 20 minute phone call (18 minutes of which I was on hold), and I still didn’t have an answer to my question.I waited all day, no one ever got back to me so I called again in the evening. (The receptionist from the phone call before gave me the direct number to call for the scheduling department instead of calling the main number). Again, on hold for close to 10 minutes. When someone did answer, I gave them my info/question, to which he replies that he can’t even help because he’s an employee at a completely different u-haul in an entirely different state!!! What?! I had the direct number, how did I get to a completely different state? He transfers me to where I need to go, so more holding, get to a lady who again has to take down my information and assured me that the man who can answer that question will get back to me. Did anyone call me back? Nope!I end up driving down to the u-haul location the next day just to get an answer to my question. No one seemed to be able to answer it, plus they didn’t even know for sure if my u-box container with all my stuff in it was actually there (even though I had received the email that it had arrived a few days before). Completely frustrated at this point, I told them to just leave the original reservation of me coming to pick up my u-box container the next day, which they responded they didn’t even have that scheduled?! What? That was the ORIGINAL RESERVATION when I made it a month prior—how did they not have it scheduled?! It’s a good thing I ended up going in to try to get some answers.Their only redeeming quality is that everyone was very kind, but they really need better training and just to be better informed about their job. I don’t know what that looks like or what that entails, but one thing is for sure I will not be using this u-haul ever again nor recommending it to someone.***UPDATE***Next day, sadly, they could not redeem themselves. Had to rent a u-haul pick up truck to move my u-box container, but we had to wait around for a very long time as they didn’t even have the U-box ready even though we had scheduled the time 24 hours prior. As we are waiting, an employee came up to us and explained that there was miscommunication and unfortunately we were not going to be able to take our u-box home today. We had wasted over an hour of our time (and used our gas to drive there) to get my u-box (that has been there for a week now) and we are leaving without the container. WHAT?! The employee who was helping us ended up leaving halfway through helping us because she had just worked a 10 hour shift and had to wait around for another 15-20 minutes for the manager to come in from moving stuff around with the forklift. The solution is that everything will be ready tomorrow morning at 8am and we are getting a discounted rate on the pickup truck to move our u-box container. Discounted rate? With the hassle we have been having, it should be delivered to my front door free of charge. I don’t know if everything will be ready tomorrow morning at 8am, but I won’t be holding my breath. I wish I could give zero stars. While all the employees are very kind, it does not make up for their incompetence.
Went to get a trailer hitch installed on my truck, stood at the counter for 15 minutes while the two women behind the counter worked with another couple. Never was I even acknowledged and apologized to for the wait. Not a word was said to me. So I walked out and will never go there for anything. If I could give it less then 1star I would. Ps the girl with the earring in her nose needs to find another job, extremely RUDE.
Not enough training for the workers to accurately do their job. Definitely an issue with upper management.
They never honor reservations and never have trucks available.

Really shocked this place doesn’t have a 5 star rating. The only corporate store in the area and they really know what they’re doing. Always nice experiences with them whenever I’ve needed to rent anything. John, Victor and Alex have helped me in the past and they are quick, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. Plus the quality/condition/cleanliness of the equipment here is way better than any other U Haul “dealer” in the area. I drive 25-30 mins from my house to use them because I know I won’t be let down. Recommend this place to anyone!

I rented a trailer, it was not at my desired location and they said i would get 50 dollars back for my reservation guarantee. My Money wasnt refunded and every time I call these SCAM ARTIST hang up.
Our experience here went smoothly enough. Everything was explained thoroughly. Truck was clean and we were charged what we were quoted. No complaints. Would rent from here again.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant! They were quick and efficient in helping my husband and I find what would work best for us as well as making sure we could get what we needed in a time crunch! We were in and out in 5 minutes!
Poor customer service. Had an appointment for over a week. A job they told me would take 45 minutes quickly escalated to “a couple of hours” after my arrival. My schedule couldn’t accommodate this... no apologies, nothing. Thanks for wasting my time. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

This is who I use to get propane, always good service and friendly people, you end up getting more propane than exchanging your tank.
The manager here is a total d-bag. Walked in and told him I needed a 24-foot truck, but he decides to cut me off then will only give me a 20-foot truck. To make matters worse, he scheduled the reservation date wrong. His employees that work under him are more competent than he is. Avoid this place if you actually want a painless moving experience.If you feel the slightest bit masochistic, be sure to check this location out when you need to move.

Rented a car hauler here the guy I dealt with was very courteous and professional. Even helped my to get the trailer lights working on my truck, just had a loose connection under the hood but he let me search for while he was hooking up the trailer
Always friendly, simple and easy process, and they offer climate controlled storage thats monitored 24/7. The two trucks I rented were clean, safe, and ready to go when I arrived.

Okay so I wanna start out by saying calling this place today damn near brought happy tears to my eyes. My husband is finally EASing but as many of you might know, getting out is not an easy check list with properly scheduled events. Its road block after road block atleast for us it has been. Low and behold there was light in our tunnel today by the name of Crysti! Ive been on the phone all morning trying to get all our affairs in order and I was almost ready to pull my own hair out until I spoke to Crysti at this Uhaul location. God used her to calm my nerves for sure! Her level of customer service, knowledge base, patience, persistence, dedication, and how nice she was the whole time has actually restored some of my faith in humanity and has helped concrete my faith in God watching over us. I prayed for one thing to go in our favor and the Lord lead me to her! If you need help with your moving needs, please call and ask for her and also let her know she is a beautiful person and if her boss is reading this, give her a raise.....she deserves it for sure! Thanks for all your help today girl, God bless and you rock! ♡
This place has the worst customer service and have absolutely no idea what is happening. I dropped my vehicle off at 11:00am for a 2:00 pm appointment and I went back at 4:00pm to pick it up. They had the invoice ready but not my vehicle. They said they would give a 10% discount if I would wait another 2 hours. I will not be returning.
I wish I could give less than 1 star. After 2 months of storage my items have become infested with roaches. This is a nightmare and great embarassment. We took two days to move our things out and the manager refuses to compensate us for our time. It was backbreaking work and getting rid of boxes and reboxing has been a total nightmare.
2nd WORST Uhaul experience ever! I called a week in advanced to have an appt to have a trailer hitch placed in my car. I already knew Id need to schedule ahead of time so they could order parts and they could come in. I go in today 08/31/17 10minutes before my appt and they tell me we dont have an appt set up for you and they acted as if it was MY fault. Some sketchy lady over the phone took my credit card info AND DIDNT EVEN SET UP MY APPT!!! Ive since cancelled my credit card and will NEVER BE RETURNING TO THESE RUDE UNEXERIENCED & UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE!!!! Would give 0 stars if I could!
The lady working the morning shift on April 3 needs some training on customer service.
Order was placed for this location for pickup went there they stated that pickup was another place very rudely I work in customer service perhaps an apology and a courtesy call to the other place to make sure that the truck was even there smh and no management at the location to assist further goodness I understand most of your clients are under the age of 25 but geez no lack of respect no customer service with a smile there are plenty of people in this city looking for a job and here this lady is hogging the space since she clearly hates her job so much she honestly needs to find another line of work I am extremely disgusted someine honestly needs to speak with this rep this was ridiculous

Really easy to rent and I did experience a problem but it was resolved without any issue. They are busy so be patient but you will get what you need. Would rent from them again.
I dont usually write reviews but I felt my experience today was worthy of taking the time to sit down and share. I obviously know how I feel about the situation, but I will let you make your own informed decision.I rented the F150 at this location this morning for no more than 3 hours at a rate of $19.95 per day, plus mileage, plus fuel, plus $10 insurance. I traveled 45 miles total. While breaking, my trailer hitch in the bed of the trunk placed a 1.5 by 1.5 hole in the plastic bedliner. Upon returning, the employee pointed it out to me. Indeed, a small flap (that could unnoticeably be moved back to its original position) had been place in the plastic bedliner- the thickness of this plastic was less than an 1/8th of an inch thick. At this time, while lighting up a cigarette, the employee told me that the bedliner would have to be replaced because they leased the vehicle from Ford and that I was responsible for the $150 deductible.Do yourself a favor. If you need to rent a truck to tow something, do not get it from here. Borrow a friends or go buy one. Heaven forbid you actually need to use the truck bed to take something to the dump. Customer service is dead at this place at least.

I went to rent a truck they saved my credit they told me who was using my TN ID to rent trucks and living bills for me to pay.

The lady I spoke with was friendly, but they wont rent a trailer to me because my jeep has a soft top.
Prices are outrageous and every little thing comes at an extra cost.
