Angel and Rob were great!! They were extremely efficient with the move and took great care with our belongings to ensure that nothing was damaged. I was so happy with them, and they were also very personable! It was most stress-free move I’ve had!!

Hector and Cortez were amazing with helping us get all our big stuff out in a timely manner. I called this morning in a panic because we don’t have long and everyone was able to accommodate us! 10/10 would recommend! Definitely will use them again the next time we move!

Could not have been more pleased. Dealt with Shawn, Sonny, Josh by phone and Wayne and Walter on the ground. Professionally accomplished all phases with reasonable, transparent and accurate cost. Everyones professionalism and demeanor reduced the stress of the move and all went as promised. Even though they a little more than what I was originally quoted, they still get 5 stars from me! (Still cheaper than everyone else I got a quote from) The person I spoke with to make the reservation (Shawn I believe his name was) was very nice & professional, making the reservation was quick & he said he would send me an email confirmation the next day & he did. He called the day before to confirm the timeframe of arrival and on the morning of the move he called to narrow down the timeframe the overs would be there and ask if we needed addtl boxes. The movers arrived on time and for working on a Sunday had a pleasant attitude, they were quick and personable. No damage to any of the items and they done within 2 hrs. I highly recommend Royal Moving and will call them again, should I ever need their services in the future.

Movers worked at a very slow pace. Took over 3 hours to load one bedroom, living and dinner room worth of furniture from a single family home and then another couple hours to unload it at the condo. Spent over 30 minutes to determine they couldn’t get this piece of furniture downstairs. If you have standard sized furniture (or larger) you probably want to use another company.

This by far was the best move I’ve ever done!!! The movers were kind, respectful, and went over and beyond to ensure everything I asked was done!!I bought my dream home and moving placed the icing on the cake!!!

Get your quote in writing. I ended up paying $850 more than I was quoted. I would have been fine if it was off by a little but almost a grand off is ridiculous. Also when the movers were putting my things in my storage unit they just put my boxes and furniture in there every which way so I’m sure when I go to unpack I am going to find a lot of things broken. I do not recommend this company at all.

My fiancé hired this company to move our things! Of course we thought they we’re professional especially since they advertise that they are but listen if i we’re you I’d run as fast away from them as possible! They broke my brand new dining room table,tore up my daughter’s bedroom set and on top of that they ruined a wall in my home bringing the furniture in. I spoke with Josh and he was very rude about it saying he has no authority to replace my table and that it would be fixed! Mind you the table is not fixable at all. I do not recommend you use this company and check out the other reviews as well. They are a nightmare! Good Luck..

Very nice friendly movers. Did their job while not a peep from them about the heat & humidity that was killing me. Not knowing exactly where we were placing everything we just had them put those smaller things in a corner. All big items were close to where we wanted them.

Rob, Anthony, and Wayne moved us this weekend and it was a quick and easy experience! The whole move went smooth - no issues at all. Not one scratch on our walls and they expertly maneuvered a king size bedroom set down a narrow stairwell. They were also great guys to be around/joke with! UNPROFESSIONAL SHYSTERS!I have never left a negative review before but feel compelled to WARN others. I hired Royal Moving Company in Jacksonville based on their rating on Google. After researching, the majority of the positive reviews are from family and friends not customers; please read the one star reviews and a pattern emerges consistent with our experience. If I could, I would give them 0 stars.I hired Royal to move 9 items for our son (loveseat, small desk and chair, 2 barstools, mattress, bed base, nightstand and TV) to a destination 20 minutes away. Sonny (manager) stated they should be able to move all 9 items in 2 hours. Further, all items would be handled with care, quilt-pad wrapped, and that they were fully bonded and insured for the full value of the items.The crew arrived at 10:00 am on 8/27/20. After seeing the items, the crew concurred “no problem, we can easily move all 9 items in 2 hours”. The furniture was previously covered in plastic and the TV was boxed; all items were ready to be quilt-pad wrapped and moved by Royal. While moving, the items were NOT handled with care, none of the furniture was quilt-pad wrapped, items were piled on top of each other, and the crew used their feet kicking the furniture and TV to cram the items into the elevator.Upon arrival at the destination at 11:10 am, the crew sat in the truck smoking, talking with the office and completing paperwork for 20 mins (while on the clock). They presented an invoice for 2.5 hours labor, forecasting 1 hr 20 mins to unload (though it had only taken a total of 1 hr 10 mins to jockey the truck in place, load AND drive 20 mins to the destination).We disagreed with the time/cost and requested to pay when the job was completed as previously stated by Sonny. The crew argued with our son and held his furniture hostage in the truck (refusing to unload) until he signed/paid the invoice under duress with NO opportunity to assess the condition of the items. The workers instructed him to contact the office with any issues.The crew finally started unloading at 11:30 am and departed at 11:50 am (just 1 hr 50 mins after arriving at the pickup location, 20 mins to unload).I emailed Sonny about the damage (including photos) and we spoke on the phone the next day 8/28/20; Sonny was very rude and unprofessional cutting me off, denying he quoted 2 hours for the move, and blaming it on our son “being on a budget resulting in the crew having to drag the bed base”!Based on discussion with upholsters in Jax, the bed base is unrepairable. I emailed Sonny on 8/31/20 requesting he file a claim with his insurance carrier. The bed base is < 1 year old with a purchase price of $300.Sonny replied the next day 9/1/20, now claiming they are not responsible because our son “assisted the crew to keep the move within 2 hours”. Our son did assist the crew when they struggled with the weight of a couple items, NOT because of a time constraint. I replied to Sonny on 9/1/20 correcting him regarding the assistance provided, noting that assisting the crew when they struggled does not relieve Royal of their responsibility and again requested they file an insurance claim.Royal has lied many times about their actions and what we did. They did NOT provide the services contracted/paid for and THEY DAMAGED a $300 piece of furniture. They are NOT taking responsibility for their actions nor the damage caused by their crew.Royal runs a SCAM - milking the clock, adding time, lying, holding the furniture hostage in the truck, forcing the customer to pay and agree that the furniture arrived undamaged when the items haven’t even been unloaded yet! I have used moving companies several times – no other company even comes close to Royal’s unprofessional, unscrupulous business practices.REPLY TO ROYALS RESPONSE:THE CREW HELD THE FURNITURE HOSTAGE IN THE TRUCK (REFUSING TO UNLOAD) UNTIL THE INVOICE WAS SIGNED/PAID UNDER DURESS WITH NO OPPORTUNITY TO ASSESS THE CONDITION OF THE ITEMS PROR TO SIGNING!

I had a great experience with Royal Movers. I called a week ago and was able to schedule my move for right after closing. Sonny was friendly and communicated clearly — helping to manage my expectations of timing, services, and costs. This is hard to find anywhere. On the day of the move, two young men—Antoine and Hector—were prompt, quick, careful and professional. I couldn’t be happier with the move!

Angel, Antwan, and Hector helped my mother move out of her house. They were extremely accommodating and helpful. My mom has a lot of stuff for a small house, and they did their best to fit everything on just one truck! Super friendly and communicated with us every step of the way. I would reccomend these guys for any local move!

The final price was more than double of the original quote. Then, it appeared that management became more concerned about receiving a positive review than they were with addressing the price discrepancy after the move was complete.

Royal Moving and Storage recently conducted a local move for me. The movers Anthony and Adam arrived in time, loaded everything up, and then unloaded at my new location. I used to work for a moving company myself years ago so I know very well that weather is a huge factor in how well and efficient this can go. It requires a lot of physical work and dedication and in this Florida heat and humidity - its no easy task. However, both Adam and Anthony completed the job in the alloted time and saved me a chunk of $. A sincere Thank You to both these gentlemen and I have to say - they represented their company very well. I will definitely be calling Royal Moving and Storage again for future moves and highly recommend this company to anyone.

Angel and Antoine were awesome! They arrived on time and worked constantly. They didn’t even want to stop to eat lunch. It was from Jax to Orlando so it was a full day, but they got it done right. I used Royal to move my furniture and concert grand piano from Pennsylvania to Jville in 2017. They promised me that they were 100% professional piano movers and moved pianos such as mine everyday. The piano was a huge priority for me because it would cost 100k to replace it. The piano was properly mounted onto a heavy moving board for support and safely wrapped and protected. It got to Florida safely and I was satisfied.This past March when I was moving to Michigan I called on Royal again to make the move. Again they bragged of their expertise moving pianos. I was not watching when they prepared and loaded the piano. Unknown to me they decided not to mount the piano on a board (which is an absolute requirement) and instead let the piano sit on its side directly on the floor of the truck. They did this because the driver of the truck was only driving one way, would be flying back to Jacksonville, and it would be inconvenient to fly the board back home with him. Had I known this was happening I would not have approved it and found another way to move the piano. Royal hired some local piano movers to help move the piano from the truck to inside my new home in Michigan. When they saw how the piano had been treated they were in shock. Sure enough when it was unwrapped there was serious damage to the side of the piano that had been sitting directly on the floor. In addition there was damage to the dining room table because the movers had placed another heavy piece of furniture directly on top of it. The table cannot be repaired.Royal refuses to pay for the repairs to the piano or the table. They say that they are below the deductible for damages. But heres the problem: they chose to cut corners and that is what caused the damage. They took a risk on damaging a 100k dollar piano in order to not have the inconvenience of flying the necessary moving equipment home. If the piano had been mounted on the board as required, there would not have been any damage.So I am greatly disappointed with Royal. If you have anything of value to move, I would advise you to stay away.Update 9/17/20 In their response Royal claims that they used the required equipment to move the piano. That is an outright lie and I have many witnesses to prove it if necessary. The fact that Royal would risk damaging a 100k piano ... and now show themselves to be liars ... is further proof that you do not want to do business with these people.
