Nice facility - helpful staff- like the drive thru - great in case of inclement weather. Well-built, code access, easy open doors, timed lights in each unit. Also like having Salvation Army thrift store next door - good for dropping off donations during the move, and there is Police substation in the same shopping center!

Id give a no star review if I could. I used this facility to store my school supplies while I was away for the summer. After deciding not to return to school I had my friends empty the unit for me as I am 1,000+ miles away. They forgot to take the lock off. I sent multiple emails to the facility requesting the contract to be terminated never once did I receive a response. They continued to charge my account instead of responding to any of the emails sent. I could have had the lock removed in a week but they would rather cheat me out of another two months. I will never use nor will I recommend anyone to use these scumbags at Midgard Storage. Take your money elsewhere!

I decided to go with this storage facility because they are inside and had a good price. Well finally cleared out my storage units and could not be happier. That I’m gone! That good price only was good until Midgard decided to raise the price on me 3 times on one unit alone. Guess they figured your stuffs here, so we got you now. The more units you get the more you pay, not less. That staff is ridiculous to deal with. They almost never have any carts to use. My code quite working twice for some reason which is not good after hours when staff is gone. Doors are broken. And if you try to use the uhual, good luck. Ordered a 26ft truck both times they didn’t have it, second time the battery was dead. Both times I got a lesser 20ft truck for the same price with no discount or offer of anything when I’m getting a smaller truck than what was promised. Staff kept saying,”it’s the same thing, same price!” FYI 26ft truck is not the same as a 20ft. Do yourself a favor and don’t rent a unit or a truck from this place. Also I have 6 oil spots on my new driveway from their uhual trucks. Good luck!

Alex and Terrence was so helpful. Moving could be frustrating but with these two amazing level or readiness attitude to assist; it’s stress free. They’re professional and amazing level of customer service. You don’t expect that out of a storage/moving place. They deserve a raise!!!

I have used this company for years and they continue to provide excellent service. The place is very clean and the people are always so pleasant!! If you need a storage unit, this is the place to go!!!

I read the response from management and I dont agree about cleanliness and carts. Someone left several envelopes outside one of the elevators. A week later those envelopes were still there. Someone else dropped a glass bottle of sauce and left it on one of the carts. Young man was picking up garbage toward end of his shift. Took bottle/paper towels but when I went back days later there was still sauce residue on cart. When I rented 2nd unit, opened unit to garbage inside and outside unit. I took/deposited garbage in unit but garbage outside was there 2 weeks later. As for carts yes you have carts but 2 are small and 1 of those jacked up and doesnt maneuver good. One flat (no handle) and one larger (the good) cart. For facility your size you need new/more carts. Your comment about cleanliness for the area: basically saying you dont feel you need to clean because area residents/businesses trashy. I really expected response that would do better not excuses/denial.I love the fact that you are inside when loading/unloading, not out in hot or rain. Facility could be cleaner. People are leaving food, paper, garbage and sometimes I see that same garbage on consecutive visits. They definitely need to order more carts and be better at monitoring if carts not back in the main loading/unloading alley area and retrieving them. I also have a unit at a different storage company. Athough I have to be outside there to load and unload and not as close to me, but because it is cleaner and the availability of carts I would rent with them over renting at this facility again.

Terrence made the experience for us. He was awesome, patient, kind, and all the things you look for from a business. We made a very hectic 900 mile move and each time we called to set up storage or asked a million questions Terrence was there to help in any way he could. That gentleman deserves the credit and as the face of the management office at Midgard Storage on Merrill. Thank you for all of your help.

My rent has gone up a couple of time and I was told it it all about Market rates. This is frustrating because the facility has been dirty and the back roll down door was broken for around 4 months. I have not been to the facility in a couple of months so I am not certain if the door has been fixed or not. The customer service in the office is fine however, when dealing with the district manager, they will not work to help out the customers. I have two units with one in good standing and I have fallen behind in the other. The district manager would not help out at all to make any payment arrangements to help me get caught up. Poor customer service and very rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This location is amazing! I am dealing with a stressful move and I have received nothing but help from Alex and Terrence. I had to come back multiple times because I needed additional storage space. Terrence was understanding and took the time to help me through each situation. Alex was very thorough and helped me with my UHaul trailer. The building is clean and well kept. I won’t go anywhere else.

They can have great prices and the whole set up is very convienient. Doors dont work occasionally though.

My rent has been hiked 4 times (Feb 2020, May 2020, Dec 2020, May 2021) in just over a year. If it was a few dollars Id understand, but nearly 10 per cent each time? Theyll tell you that its all about market rates, all the time while the real estate in the area has gone down and the facility deteriorates. In the 7+ years Ive been renting there Ive seen my rent double and the most dramatic hikes have been under Midgard. This is the third company to own the facility since 2013 and each new company seems to be bigger and worse than the other. Theyll tell you youre a valued customer but theyll nothing to retain you. They have a captive audience, well, Im finally leaving.

The facility is clean. The workers Chandler,Terrence,Tabatha were really nice and patient with me and did a great job helping me move.

I came to this location to rent a Uhaul for a move and both Alex and Terrance were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what kind of trailer would be the best for my items!Their professionalism and helpfulness was greatly appreciated and I will absolutely be back to use them in the future for either storage or if I need to move again!

This is by far one of the best in customer service storage places I have stored at. Mr. Chris is an extremely helpful and friendly manager. I can see why the facility is always so nice and clean. He always lets me know with a friendly reminder about new promotions to help out my family and friends. Great service.

We / my boyfriend rented a unit on their contactless rentals online and after paying for it and getting our unit number they failed to give us the gate code / door code so we could not get in to take our stuff in so we were sitting outside for an hour. What is the point of having contactless rental when they dont give you a gate code to get in? So we had to make other arrangements to get a storage unit as we were sitting outside with a truck full of furniture. We will wait and see if they will refund our money back because we were not able to get in. Be aware!! They did give us our money back so thank you!

It seems like every 3 months that Im getting a notification that my rent will be increasing. Very frustrated with this company.

I booked two storage units over the phone. Everything went fine and I was supposed to receive the one month free promotion. However, I didn’t get the one month free promotion - I was charged full price. I have called and emailed multiple times and spoken with the “market manager” about the situation. He was supposed to do something about it but it has been weeks and I’ve never heard back from him.So I’ve been ripped off. False promotional advertising and not a single attempt by the company to fix the situation even after multiple calls and emails.

I’m not one to leave a horrible review because of one bad experience. The facility is a nice and safe one to have your valuables. I never had any issues with anyone there. However, my stuff was moved from Jacksonville to Texas. My dad went back a few days later to get my last few belongings out. He went in and told one of the employees and that employee told my dad to just bring the key back once he was done. When my dad arrived back, the employee wasn’t there. My dad placed their key in a drop box he assumed was for keys and then he waited around with my stepmom for a while(there was a sketchy lady standing outside and my dad didn’t want her to try to get the keys). When the lady left he left too. This is what I’m trying to tell Chris at this location but before being able to do so I’m rudely told they are not responsible for my father. But you are responsible for your employee who told my father to bring the keys back and then wasn’t there. Don’t treat people rudely when they are no longer a customer of yours or trying to become a customer. This coming from the same man who tried to convince me to move my belongings to a different Extra Space Storage since Midgard was taking over this location, “and I don’t know how they’re going to do business”.

We live in Tennessee and also have a rentalvacation residence in Florida. It has been amazing to be able to store items that we do not want to be available to renters but will need when we come down to visit. Tami was amazing to work with and really made a difference when we were choosing which storage facility to use. Top notch!!

Extra Space Storage has a team of incredible staff, particularly the manager at this location. I had just moved to Jacksonville and was running late. Eric stayed behind to ensure I was met and understood all details of the lease. A+ service bar any I’ve experienced previously at any storage facility.

Took a tour of the facility and the manager was extremely helpful. He took the time to explain the different space options. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the grounds, attentiveness and patience from the staff.

Good prices and plenty of room in my storage unit, staff was friendly and made sure I got the best deal! I recommend this place !

Awesome, amazing, friendly. The staff here is great! The latch on my unit broke and I was frustrated with the morning, I took the broken piece to the office and the staff was wonderful. They immediately helped me get the unit open and told me they would take care of it and apologized for it, no harm done at all. They handled the whole situation wonderfully. They got it fixed by the end of the day. They were wonderful from the day I got the unit and are still amazing after. Best staff and so helpful, clean building, great customer service.

Ariana at site 8491 in palm desert took care of my needs and even called and spoke with the management to assure storage was secured, gate code worked, and combination lock was set for me for when I arrive with my movers. The folks at Blue Water Storage Center exceeded my expectations. They were friendly, professional and helpful during my recent move. We rented our self-storage unit for the last several months while we moved across town into a new house. We have had no problems or complaints about Blue Water. The storage center is in a convenient location and has low monthly payments. Our indoor climate controlled unit was clean and ready upon arrival. All we had to provide was our personal items and a lock of our choice. Our items stayed dry, bug free and were kept safe and secure leaving us to focus on our move. The ramp and loading area are easily accessible for quick loading and unloading, which, was helpful moving in this hot and muggy Florida weather. The facility has plenty of large parking spaces and has always been secure and well-lit. We also rented our U-haul for our move from them. The truck was clean, well maintained and exactly as advertised. I made the truck reservations online to ensure it was available and ready to be picked up. Their exemplary customer service made filling out the paperwork and other legalities quick and easy. Just ask for Ed (he’s the manager) and you will not be disappointed.

Just opened a storage unit with Stacy Wilson and she is amazing. She immediately contacted me when I reserved a space online and answered every question thoroughly. So far I really like this place! The controlled climate control is pretty awesome as well.

Soons I walked in the building, I was immediately greeted, usually when I walk into a storage place I have to wait 5 or 10 min for someone to help me. But the staff was really nice and very informative. And was able to answer all the questions I needed.

Really love this facility. The indoor drive in area alone is worth it and very unique. You can move your items no matter the conditions outside. Wayneshia was very nice and helpful!!

We just rented a storage unit with a Stacy who showed us the facility, the easiest way to get to our unit, the best price based on how long we anticipate needing the unit, and how to unload and get access to the garage bay to make it easier to load things in and out of the unit. The place is very clean and the security codes are at every door. I highly recommend this place.

Came in Extra Space Storage to get a small storage for a few items that is currently taking up space in my apartment. The customer service was great and I felt welcomed from the very beginning. The girl Wayneida (however u spell it) at the front desk was very unfriendly, not helpful and border line rude. She showed us the wrong unit and insisted it was the correct one only to have her come back and tell us it was the wrong sized unit.... The facility itself was nice but she wasnt pleasant and I would recommend dealing with someone else besides her....

Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean, safe units. This will be my go to storage space whenever the need arises. Only downside is access hours end at midnight. Some late night moves require 1 or 2 am visits sometimes.

My experience at Extra Space was fantastic. Wayneshia gave great customer service. All my questions ×were answered with great clarity.

Quick, simple setup. In and out within 15 minutes. Lifetime guarantee on their own lock-brand, so if I have any problems I can just bring the lock to the front desk. Great idea, and the a/c is chill.
