I had an overall pleasant experience at Hodges Mazda. Saleswoman Andrea and Manager Matthew made my car buying experience very effortless. They both did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable with my payments and made sure I got the exact vehicle I wanted. The finance part of the transaction was smooth and painless. I didn’t feel any pressure to purchase anything I didn’t want or felt I didn’t need. I would definitely go back to Hodges Mazda for my next car needs and will gladly refer them to family and friends.

Almost 30 years of purchasing and driving vehicles in multiple states and I’ve never been so impressed by a dealer. Not pushy, not condescending, not arrogant, not “snaky”; just pleasant. The NEW Mult-Point Inspection Video you get in the Hodges Service Department is great. Showed me first hand any future concerns I should have with tires, brakes,battery, or leaks in a complete walk around video posted by the mechanic working on my CX5 this morning. Camile did a great job explaining this process up front and it’s truly the wave of the future in the service bays for top notch service.

I popped into Hodges Mazda today and was greeted by the most amazing group of young men. David Wright assisted me in finding a vehicle that matched my needs as well as fitting my budget. It was a team effort with David, Vince, Drew, Matt and Tim. Transparency was foremost with these guys. They made sure I understood every step and where every penny was going. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

From the beginning to the end we did all negotiations and purchase on line. It was easier than I thought. Buying a car in the past and having to deal with sales people it is not one of my favorite things to do. The staff was great and I feel comfortable that got a fair deal from them. I only wish they were closer to where I live so that in the future when I need service I could visit them.

I went to over 10 other dealerships and looked at over 20 cars. When I went to Hodges Mazda I was met by their salesman Luke who was professional and very patient. He asked what we were looking for and showed us at least 10 cars on his lot and we test drove six.We still had not found what we were looking for so Luke working with his Sales Manager came up with a few additional options. We found an SUV that was perfect and came in under budget. My wife was very happy and this ended up being a great experience. Luke does not work on commission so his goal was to take his time and meet our needs which he did!I can say without doubt after buying dozens of cars and trucks over the year this was by far the best experience. So i research and I ask direct questions (and expect direct answers) before I even walk in the dealership.After unsuccessful tries with 2 other dealerships in town, I tried Hodges. Chief was phenomenal, extremely knowledgeable and accepting of what I wanted and was looking for. Asked questions but never got pushy. Staff all acted extremely professional and well mannered.

Not the greatest experience with the service department. I had an appointment for a front end alignment and showed up about 5 minutes early. It was almost 2 hours before the vehicle was actually serviced although the 30 minutes to service the vehicle was satisfactory. After waiting 2.5 hours total, they brought the vehicle back to me with the underbody splash guard improperly installed. The service advisor brought out the mechanic who worked on the vehicle and tried to convince me that it was like that because there were missing screws and there was nothing to worry about. I told him that the splash guard should not protrude that low and would definitely impact objects on the ground and rip it off the vehicle (safety hazard). He then drove the vehicle back into the shop and I waited another 30 minutes before the work was completed. I could have fixed the problem in less than 2 minutes with a 10 mm socket. Everyone was very friendly but I feel like the time it took to service the vehicle and failing to conduct proper quality assurance with the splash guard was not satisfactory. Perhaps next time as the day progresses, contact the customer and ask if they can show up later so their vehicle is serviced within a few minutes of showing up. Additionally, adopt a system where a second mechanic spends 30 seconds reviewing the general condition of a vehicle to ensure all components are properly installed and all tools are accounted for.

We didnt buy the truck we came in for, however, Neil went above a beyond to help us with the Ram we purchased.. He answered all of our questions patiently and even stayed to make sure we worked out the financing. Once we started the paper work Austin C took back the reins! I went to this dealership three times and spent about 20 minutes walking around the lot as there were two cars I was interested in. While I was there I was passed over and NEVER approached as there were about 7 salesman sitting outside but clearly they do not want to sell any cars. So I took the hint and left.

We were searching for a car for our son in college. We were referred by a friend to Hodges Mazda. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Austin Lynch, who became our salesman. Austin was very informative, personable, and most importantly to me, not pushy or full of BS. After finding a Mazda 626 that we liked, he worked the numbers with his manager, Vince Rafael, and we came to an agreement. Vince then spent the next 45 minutes just talking to us, after the deal was done, which I found refreshing because the deal was already done. We are thankful for this vehicle and will be producing more live streams outside now that we have a larger ride to film with.EDIT 1-12-2021A few hiccups have caused us to bump down the score to 4 stars. Although things were handled promptly with the issues, it took extra time and money to fix the issues that shouldnt have existed in the first place. Dealer Spec Sheet listed spare tire and the car didnt have it. It took communicating with upper management to start the process of getting the spare tire.After driving the vehicle on and off for 2 weeks, we were also noticing a tire leak in the front passenger tire. Upon further inspection, the tire was previously repaired on the outer-wheel wall and the small rubber patch was coming off. A certified inspection should check for these type of things. Make note and inspect all your vehicles tires for repair patches and bumps. Earlier that day, we had the foresight to purchase the additional tire warranty in the event there was an attempt to charge us for any tire issues.After explaining the situation, the service rep acknowledged the tire needed to be replaced. However, before I told them about the protection plan that we purchased, they asked about a payment to fix the issue.Employee attire needs adjustment since Id prefer not seeing red underwear from a staff member who wore their pants below their butt. After 3 hours of waiting, the tire was repaired, they did a maintenance check, and we got a free car wash. Then, we were on our way.As a side note, I would like to see some sort of seating outside like park benches or a picnic table. I did not like that all seats were inside (during covid). The bathrooms should also have contactless options: automated sinks instead of manual faucets and sensor-operated paper towel dispensers.01/21/2021Employees are working to correct issues.2/22/2021My wife and I went to Hodges and picked up my spare tire, and tire kit. Please place up signage for the Parts department since its in a little spot near the bathrooms that is overlooked. Branding increases awareness and sales.We still really like our vehicle👍.3/27/2021The day prior I made a trip and an oil change was needed. I called and luck was in my favor, they were offering free oil changes for veterans for March. We placed the plastic sheeting over the driver seat using the rolls they had outside since we prefer minimal contact from any service member with our car seats. Since it was going to be a 2hr wait, one of the service desk reps drove my wife and me to The Avenues mall where our journey continued (see other Google images we posted). The timing of our shopping trip was just right. As we finished shopping and picking up to-go food, they were there to pick us up and bring us back to our ride. It was shiny and clean again (we had been off-roading the day before). The staff we interacted with were on point. It was a good day. The vehicle I was picked up in was a CX-9. Although it had a ding in the windshield and a stain on the passenger seat rear, the drivers were very safe and accommodating. Human and professional. Thanks for making this visit worry-free and easy.

I responded to an online TrueCar quote of two CX5/AV package available in a price I liked, one of which had just sold and the other, although it was my third choice on color, I knew how tight the inventory was for this trim. I said I’d take it and then he checked into it to find it too had also just sold. One remained in a color choice I just couldn’t put myself in. I was heartbroken. He didn’t know I had to have a car in 2 days. He understood how I had to be happy with my car, and not more than 20 min. later, found my second choice, brand new, which had not hit the computer inventory yet! He got the car prepped & paper work ready, advised me of the bad weather at that time and followed up after the purchase, not once, but multiple times! He kept me and my daughter talking & laughing until the finance time. He is so congenial, I think he could talk to anyone. He stayed to walk us out as we closed the place! Weve purchased 7 cars from Duval Mazda to now Hodges Mazda over the years and although some faces have changed the quality of the staff has never wavered. Have been servicing my 2016 CX5 at Hodges since I moved from Austin in early 2019. The service has consistently been excellent. Most recently I had my car in the shop for repairs and Rodney from Service Dept made a loaner available so I could get my parents to and from hospital. I ended up loving the 2021 CX5 loaner so much I bought a new one. Sales team was just as professional and wonderful as Service dept, My sales guy was Jeff and we also worked with Vince. I was in the ER twice during the purchase of my car and Jeff offered to deliver the car to the house. I highly recommend purchasing or servicing your car with Hodges Mazda at the Avenues. They are honest and caring people who will do what it takes to provide excellent service! Service Techs are great. Always letting me know about coupons or discounts.

He absolutely went the extra mile to take exceptional care of us. He even went as far as taking my car seat out of my car for me. The service guys also did a great job on my car. Mauricio thoroughly explained to me the issues they found with my car on my level. I just really appreciate the kindness of the entire staff in making sure we were comfortable. Even with my credit not being the best he worked hard to get me approved for a loan. I trusted him throughout the process and I drove out and the car I admired. Test drove a 2018 Mazda Cx-5 and liked the car. When I asked about the price I was told 21,998. However when I went to buy it the salesman informed me that price included 3000 worth of rebates... Military, current Mazda owner, and new car. Well since this wasnt a new car the last rebate was complete BS. Then once he added on the over 1,000 dealer fee the price of the car had skyrocketed to over 26k! Let alone tags, title and tax. Found the same car from CarMax 2 weeks later for 21,998, they only charged a 399 dealer fee.
