Great people. The owner is very knowledgeable about the different machines brought in to get repaired. Him and his assistant probably are the best small engine repair guys on the west side.

Dropped off my Husqvarna chain saw on July 18, 2020 for a tune up. I explained that it was impossible to restart once it was hot and asked the guy at the counter (the Owner I believe) if this was a model that was actually worth repairing or if I should just buy another one, maybe a higher end model. His response was well, they still make this one. So, because I needed a saw right at that time I purchased a new one from him (at full retail $534.89) and left my old one for service. I checked with them on 7/31 and was told that my saw was the 3rd ticket on the list to be serviced, and I kept checking back with them every couple of weeks. There was always some kind of excuse as to why it was not ready, “were so busy”...etc... I went by personally several times and continued to receive the same excuses. At my last visit, sometime in October the owner assured me that he would even stay late that night and take care of it. I told him to not put himself out, as I had already finished my lot clearing project by that time.I waited.Seven months.Today I went in and just told them I wanted to pick up my saw. After a long search they finally found it in the back room. It hadnt been touched.SEVEN MONTHS....and it hadnt been touched. Great service, huh? How does a place like this stay in business?

Dont know whats happened, but repair quality has declined markedly since last year. We dropped off 3 pieces of equipment for PM service, and have discovered (the hard way) to recheck their work. One push mower came back with no oil (it seized up and is back there for repairs), the tractors oil drain plug was only hand-tigthened and leaked out a good bit of its oil, and none of the blades was sharpened or replaced. As of now, owner is away tending to sick relative, so I think the mice are playing.

If you need your small engine repaired Mark will treat you right.

Wouldnt recommend their service to anyone I know. Technician is price gouging and doesnt listen to customer about the repair. Providing a service I didnt ask for. I wont ever go back!

I have been going to this shop for a year now. To get my equipment as well as getting my equipment fixed. Everytime Ive been there they never disappoint and have my equipment back to me in a timely manner. I own my own business so I know how difficult it can be to deal with the variety of customers on a daily basis but they do a fantastic job. Extremely Fast turn around time on my push mower repair!

Had good service a year ago, this time not so much. Front desk staff had poor communication with mechanic so the repair done didnt match my request. I was told they have hundreds of tickets so not much thought goes into the repair and the man on the phone said I dont fix lawn mowers, meaning hes not the actual mechanic. Just an overall attitude of we dont care. Wont be back!!

Though they were flooded with people needing their generators and such fixed as Hurricane Irma was rolling in, my generator was fixed in just a couple days. $49.76 to clean out my carborator on my lawn mower. “It took the guy 30 or 40 minutes to do it. I could charge you more. But, I’m (only?)charging you $49. I will never go there again. My friend suggested them.

I’ve brought a simple Husqvarna push mower here three times over 5 weeks and it still isn’t fixed. If you’re mowing in Jacksonville take your equipment and business elsewhere. Very impolite staff at the front desk as well.

I used this business 2 times, the first was on point, the 2nd was rework to place ceils on fuel lines which took 2 weeks pluse. Upon pickup I was offered a bill for 67.00, I asked why and was later told the repairman gets carried away. The rep. Decided to split the cost so I just paid knowing I would never come back. I decided to start my weed eater before leaving to find the fuel line wasnt connected. So I carried it back inside and asked them to start my equipment. Long story short they identified the problem and fix it.My equipment wasnt cleaned upon pickup. I always try to help small business I drove across town to support but because of the poor service I can no longer support.The Fed.

The young lady at the counter was nice, knowledgeable, and able to explain to me the process required to fix my trimmer and sold me the parts at a very reasonable price. I had already gone to all of the other big box hardware stores and no one carried the parts for my Husquavarna trimmer.

I took my weedeater there to get it serviced. They had it for two weeks, after I picked it up the young woman at the desk said it was smoking, duh I brought it here for you all to service get it running properly. All they did was tighten a few screws and said it was ready. When I got home to use it, still the same problem. Beware of this place charged me $45+ and did not do a damn thing. What a RIP off ! I will never use this place again. Worst small engine service in town !

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Last summer our mower sat in the shop at Power Equipment Sales for a longer period of time than it was at our house. It was returned once due to failure to fix a simple fluid leak. After second stint, leak persisted and there was a wrench left underneath the mower (safety hazard if it fell off and got caught up in the belts or blades, anyone?) No apologies from the staff (except the poor young woman stuck at the front counter running interference for the bozos in the back), refused a request for refund via a poorly written letter. And of course Snapper / Ferris / Briggs Stratton corporate headquarters was worthless; flat out refused to engage on the customers behalf. Ended up having to dispute the charge with credit card company.

I dropped my mower for a repair to the transmission on October 11 th. Called 3 times since then to check status and was only told that “we are busy”. Picked it up today, 6 weeks later because they never touched it, never would commit to a completion date and would never call me back.Terrible customer service.No apologies for my wait, inconvenience or their lack of service. Just more “we have been busy”.Let me help you out by taking my business elsewhere. I can’t imagine how frustrating it would be if I had just bought a $5,000 mower from them.Keep looking is my advice!

I took my self propel lawnmower in to get repaired and the service was great! They had it back to me by the weekend.

On 3/7/17 I ordered a Briggs & Stratton 190cc lawn mower engine that they have out on the showroom floor they ordered the wrong one Briggs & Stratton 163cc, when it came in I said this is the wrong engine this is not the same one thats on the showroom floor you do not even have this engine in the store I dont know how they messed the order up the engine that I wanted they told me that it cost more money so I had to pay more or the engine that I wanted when I was told it was a certain price $45 more. I dont feel like a mistake like that should have been made. Now on 3/21/17 I go to pick up the correct engine.

I was quoted 1 week for a repair, it took 5 weeks. No calls, no update. When we got the our saw back the air filter wasnt even screwed back on. Take your business elsewhere.

Sent my big rider mower in for service and repair, got it back in 4 days, good service, friendly and courteous people. Recommend them highly.

I took a chainsaw in and first they said it would be 70 to fix it.then after 4 weeks they said it would be 150 and it was worth fixing.i said ok.then paid 150 and I dont even use a tank of gas and it stoped working.thrn they said it would be 55 dollars more.i said no thanks.the saw is only 299 new.so I just think Mark doesnt care and just take your money.dont go there.

My boyfriend just went in and asked if they had a part, they said no. He asked do you know where I can find one? They said no. Didnt offer to help him in a cateloge or anything they may have had. On line sites they could recommend. Nothing . I guess because they couldnt sell him a new one? In any case not a good experience and we wont be back
