What a great shop! The owner was warm and attentive, and gave me some great advice not just on what firearm to purchase, but also the correct types of ammunition to use for both range and self-defense, as well as maintenance best-practices. The prices of the firearms were also incredibly reasonable. Ill certainly be coming back soon!

Great customer service. I have been searching for a rifle for months. Found it here and a few calls, a few emails, and within 36 hours I have UPS confirmation the rifle is on its way to California. I wouldnt hesitate buying another firearm from these guys. To add to the satisfaction the price was real nice as well.

Got my first AR -15 (Ruger AR556) here back in May when I couldn’t find a decent rifle anywhere! He got the firearm in that morning and I was lucky enough to be first in the shop that day so I didn’t hesitate on the purchase.Owner was very helpful and did not try to price gouge or take advantage during a scarce market. He even showed my wife some handgun options that would allow her to rack the slide with more ease. All around a great experience. Be polite and I bet you will find it is returned! Nice to have a reliable shop right around the corner.

Its very hit or miss been in once before was helped and very kind. I go in to get ammo, I understand the ammo shortage but how they talk to me was very rude compared to other places Ive been too so i guess hope for a good day with them. Also how they respond to reviews is very upsetting.

I’m new to Jacksonville and needed an FFL for an incoming transfer. I found Red Ryder Armory and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The owner was genuine, funny and all around great to do business with. Their customer service is 2nd to done. I come from the Fort Lauderdale area and the big name shops and this place is even better. The moment my transfer arrived I had a call and an email letting me know it had arrived. Went in and 30 mins later I walked out with my new purchase. FDLE can be slow at times or have hiccups but passed the time talking shop and 2A stuff. This will be my go to shop for all my firearm needs. Local and friendly upon my visit, 2 transfers were done at the same time was charged for 2 nics checks while one one was required. I get its a small business but to steal from your customers isnt right. I must have been wrong and felt the 2 transfer fees were for your trouble of the two transfers. And didnt need the extra 5 on top of it.

Guy really helped me out this past Christmas. Went above and beyond. Dropped off a new gun to be engraved with my sons initials. We talked about different ways it could be done. I knew it was in the right hands when I left and I was right. He calls ahead of the agreed time and told me it was ready. I pop on over to pick it up. When I get there, he showes me the work and it looked great!!! I love it!!! He tells me its not exactly as we discussed so....no charge?! What!? It looked better then what I envisioned. I tried to pay him but no way. Hed only take a handshake. Rarely in todays world do you meet people of this moral fiber. I picked up my jaw and went on. The first thing out of my sons mouth when he saw his initials on that gun were oh wow, now that makes it special Guy, thanks so much. Next time I come in Ill bring him with me. Had my AR built by Guy (the owner) and I have to say, the price for the work was awesome. He did a great job, I was missing a couple of small things but he has everything youll need or want. He carries quality parts and does quality work. Theres a great selection in his shop from rifles to pistols. I will for sure be back. Prices are really good and hes honest, cant beat that. Him and his wife are great to meet and do business with.

Nice local armory! I have bought a few firearms at this place, they have always had competitive prices and friendly service. Also, this is my go to FFL for having firearms transferred that I have bought from online sources. They are hard to find, but worth it if they offer the services you are looking for. I will be doing more business with these folks in the future.

Guy the owner is very knowledgeable and shares his knowledge. The store maybe small but he knows his stuff and the prices are reasonable. He can customize and if he doesnt know he knows a lot of people who can help.

Just picked up an on-line order which Guy processed for me. While there I asked about putting some accessories on my AR10. Guy suggested a number of things, rail, bi-pod, etc. Prices are very reasonable and Guy knows his business. Will be taking my AR10 back for some additions.

My friend and I bought several firearms and accessories today. One of my guns had a potential issue that was caught before we left the store. The owner offered to stay and fix it after the stores closing time. Overall great people to do business with and we will be coming back here.
