We were out and about and decided to find a place to get some breakfast. Edgewood Diner had decent reviews and we were in the area. Its small and the place is packed! We had a short wait, but was seated in 10 minutes. Good choice of items on the menu. We placed our order and we waited... Not sure what or who dropped the ball on our order but it took over an hour to get our food. Im putting that aside because the food was FABULOUS! I had the western omelet and my husband had the meat lovers skillet smothered in gravy. Both meals were so fresh and cooked to perfection. I have to say of all the omelets I have had in my life, this one is by far the best. It was perfect! The veggies were spot on fresh and crisp. I would wait another hour to have this meal again. We will definitely be back!!!
My new favorite breakfast spot. Moved to this neighborhood a few months back, and after trying everything around can assure you this is the best.😄 Service is great! ( experienced, polite, quick, smiling) Food is Excellent! My only warning concerns parking during peak hours.
The Corn bread Waffle is amazing! Sausage Gravy was delicious and the hollandaise is fantastic! We will be back!

You really cant beat Edgewood diner. Such a friendly neighborhood eatery. The food is very good and the prices are even better. You can even get mimosas on the weekends! The staff is friendly and attentive. Theyll make sure your coffee cup is always full!
My son and I were having a lovely breakfast with Tanya as our server, when the manager (whose name I believe is Sue) pulled her away to loudly berate her in earshot of customers. It was possibly the most unprofessional and honestly astonishing thing Ive ever seen in a restaurant. Coaching 101 is praise in public and coach in private, but even if that discussion had happened in private, it wouldnt have been appropriate. Sue is clearly unfit for management and she ought to be replaced before she lands you guys in a lawsuit. Truly abhorrent behavior.
First time going since the name change. Food took a while to arrive and it wasnt hot when it got to us. Service was just ok. This was our favorite weekend spot for breakfast when it was Edgewood diner. We did not enjoy this experience.

I Really enjoy this place! Its a great place too begin the day. They have some really good breakfast here, and a lot of food choice selections. I love too brunch here during the school year after my morning shift. Its a great place too fuel up, recharge the batteries and just graze. The waitresses are nice, and the food is super good, I get too go food items all the time; its so good.

We ordered the French toast combo and it was awesome. Great portions and prices. The kitchen was a little slow in getting the food out but overall a good place to grab a bite.
It was horrible! My husband ordered a breakfast skillet with mushrooms, peppers, or onions. It came out full of all three. We got there about 15 minutes after they opened and my husband had to wait 20 minutes for a sweet tea. Shouldnt the sweet tea be brewed before you open? Umm... Yes. I had a mushroom swiss burger with absolutely no seasoning and one (literally) mushroom. With macaroni and cheese that was cold, definitely not fresh and tasted rancid!!! Not to mention that after ten minutes, rather than being in the expo window waiting for my husbands refire breakfast where was our server? Standing inferring of the restaurant smoking. Ive never walked out of a restaurant before and will NEVER go back! Yuck!
We used to be a fan of Edgewood Diner but now that theyve become Datil Do the food was disappointing and the serving sizes were much smaller than they used to be. We probably wont be returning to this restaurant we used to frequent :(
The cheddar cornbread waffle is off the chain. Always great service. The skillets are amazing. I try and stop in once a week. My favorite breakfast spot and thats saying something as they dont have a full bar. Did I mention the service? Outstanding. Fast ticket times, never had a bad meal.

Corned beef was chipped up and cooked to death, probably to poorly mask the week old odor it was emitting. It smelled of burning plastic and vinegar, mind you, it tasted quite the same. The over medium eggs were overcooked without any run to the yolks, and I dont know what the hell the 3/8 thick garden of deep green earthiness was, but it certainly wasnt the crisp, cool iceberg lettuce that is standard for any BLT everywhere else on this planet, except here apparently. The bacon was burned, as if it were standing trial for witchcraft, and then quite obviously held in its own juices rather than being made, per order. There is no doubt about that, as the dried Luke warm grease turning an opaque white in a few spots so clearly indicated.
Fantastic quaint diner with great breakfast at a very reasonable price. Cozy/casual/friendly place... Wish Edgewood Bakery wouldnt have been left to become an unkept eyesore across the street! Both places thriving at that intersection would so good for Murray Hill.

Omg the service was great and the breakfast was AMAZING had eggs Benedict and homefries and the hubby big boy breakfast you certainly wont leave hungry, portions were on point !
Just general diner, nothing fancy. Has the sausage gravy Benedict, which is served on a biscuit. Gravy was peppery but not much more flavor.

Great dinner located in the heart of Murray Hill. If you come here, get the meat lovers breakfast burrito. You wont be disappointed. Service here is excellent. Highly recommend you try this place.

We will not be visiting again. The carpeted floors were so sticky my flip flops felt too heavy to walk. My husband lost his flip flops twice. The tables and chairs in the middle are crowded and probably against fire regulations. The food portions for the price are unfair. The omlette was tasteless, the pancakes were crispy and old tasting. Our server knew less about the menu than we did and rudely leaned over to see what tip she received from us while I was trying to tend to a fussy baby. Another server came over to admire our children and would not keep her hands off of then. Touching my daughters hair and shoulders. Personal space please!

I havent eaten here in awhile but I have to say the photos are glamorous but dont resemble what Ive had here. I usually order a cheese omelette. Not the best in the city, not the worst. Just so-so. I live nearby but rarely drop in.
My friend WARREN had taken me there as hes gone there many years....I felt like being in moms kitchen.The food is exceptional.Bless the cooks there because they are the ones who make all keep returning.

A small establishment seats maybe 40 ppl, food is prepared / cooked to order, limited parking for first visit I would say they are worth giving a try. They also appeared to be just getting established

I used to love this place when it was the crazy egg. Im not sure if the staff changed or they changed their food sourcing but it just doesnt impress me as much as it used to. It still has decent food though.

I’ve lived in the area for 6 years. Been here twice. First time was horrible. The waitress was so distracted she hardly even waited on us. Very scattered. I ordered a club sandwich. A club. Simple right? Well apparently NOT here. They messed it up twice. First time they didn’t take the tomato off as requested when I originally ordered, second the waitress brought it back without bacon! Figured about a year later we’d give it another try. Big mistake. Same scatter brained waitress. Place was NOT busy but it still took almost 15 minutes to get our drinks. She kept walking by saying ‘I’ll be right with y’all’. I ordered a French dip, zero flavor whatsoever. Bread was tough. Meat was way over cooked. Husband ordered a simple breakfast sandwich with hash browns and the hash browns were not edible at all. I believe they dug them out of the bottom of the fryer they were so soaked in grease that just looking at it made ya sick. We will NEVER go back.
Used Groupon, scrambled eggs with cheese was excellent but corn beef hash sent back was extremely salty. Guest loved chicken salad and soup. Orange juice excellent but coffee was poor. Service was good.
Been here several times and always receive great service and the best tasting food. Im partial to breakfast; my hubby is partial to lunch. We will continue to frequent this establishment as it is awesome!!

The only place I didnt want to share on here because I loved that it was my little secret but that is a little selfish. Every time we come here it is ALWAYS delicious. We always get to sit in our booth (yes we unofficially have our own only if available 😁) and no matter what is ordered off the menu it is perfect every time. As if you were at home cooking it yourself. Fresh fruit and not frozen like most places. Its as if they were picked up from a local grocery that morning. Unfortunately we had to move but will always come back to our favorite breakfast place when in town. ❤

Had eggs Benedict. You could almost see through the Canadian bacon it was so thin, and the hollandaise tasted like it came out of a can. Home fries completely devoid of any taste. Coffee tastes old and stale, even though it is not. Service was excellent!

We went to the Edgewood Diner on 1/6/18 for breakfast. I ordered the Filet Steak and eggs special and my friend ordered the other special country fried steak and eggs. After waiting 45 minutes to be served my food was cold and the steak under cooked. Needless to say I didn’t want to wait another 40 minutes so I asked them to take my meal off of the order. The waitress never offered an apology or an explanation. I was very disappointed. I don’t think I’ll be going back again.
Good food, but the place its dirty and the staff is not to friendly
Way to crowded, got set next to kitchen with tubs of dirty dishes right next to us. My chair was sticky, so every time I moved i was sticking to chair. Eggs were done wrong, sent them back and they still came back wrong. My sisters french fries were burned to a dark brown hard as a rock consistency. The high chair for my granddaughter was filthy. It was a horrible place will never go back.
