My wife and I have been here several times, and we absolutely LOVE it. Great food. Very fair prices. And fresh. Service has always been phenomenal too. We love going here in the morning for breakfast or early afternoon for brunch. They serve breakfast all day... So thats a plus in my book! Highly recommend!

My server was nice and she did a really good job, but that was the only thing that was good. I had the break fast options and unfortunately my pancakes we awful, the poached eggs had no yolk and nothing was salted at all. I really wanted this place to be good but unfortunately the food wont have me coming back.

Breakfast served during open restaurant hours. Menu items vary and include a Todays Special. Our server Abby is friendly and remembers our beverage choices. Family owned and operated. A hidden gem in our Northside Jacksonville area!

Waited about an hour for breakfast,while they were putting out several to go orders which no one was there to pick up,so they sat and got cold. Think maybe you do orders of customers that are in restraunt!Waitress was very nice and apologetic not her fault.Food was not very good,especially after waiting an hour

Was reasonably priced, service was terrible. We were the only people in the place when we got there, my son was starving took over 20 minutes to get the appetizer which was chili tots, they arrived cold and mushy. Immediately after the rest of the food came out, server never came back to check on us. She was training a new server and the trainee was way more attentive. Wont be coming back any time soon.

Love coming here friendly staff and great service! Got the chicken tenders and eggs for breakfast with an extra side of home fries. Everything came out excellent! Really impressed with the home fries today. I’ve had them a few times here but they were perfect today. Whatever y’all are doing keep it up! 10/10 will continue to come here.

Food was good. Service was just ok. There were three waitresses who seemed more interested into talking to each others then checking on us. There were only two other tables with guests eating. We had to get up and approach them to have our drinks refilled. This was our second visit. The first visit, same thing happened. Our food was out on the window, the cook kept pressing the bell and the waitress kept talking to her friend. Maybe a little more attention to service but overall good is good.

Placed an order with them on 11/4/2021 at 8:46. It took two hours to get the food because I order through Uber Eats. The food was cold and the bacon was over cooked. I called back to let them know the food was cold but they didnt care. First and LAST time ordering.

Grill is dirty. Over cooked my fiancee eggs. Grits were not good.

Well this is a nice mom an pop eat in and outside restaurant I ordered a custom omelette,egg whites with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion,with white and yellow cheese my order came with home fries and a side of corn beefhash all tasted good except my home fries which were a little under done but overall the service was good I would eat here again

Will never ever come back. Started with a cockroach in the bathroom..server took our order and brought the food nothing more. We waited forever for the food.. it was not busy. When we received our food both of ours was cold. Our drinks were never refilled. The waitresses were so unprofessional.. gossiping on the floor.. smack talking an employee who must be late to her shift. One waitress was very rude to a man who didn’t know he couldn’t sit in a specific seat.. and the WORST of it all one of the waitresses took a picture on her phone and out loud said look at this look at this and there was a living baby snake in the restaurant. Always wanted to stop here everytime we drove by.. I’m glad we did so now I know to never come back.

I love the decor, the food was great too. Service was quick and friendly. I told my parents to go and I was suprised to hear that they they werent crazy about it. They did get the meatloaf so take that for what its worth. We got chicken fried steak and they nailed it!

We decided to try this new local diner and almost missed by showing up at 2:50pm and they close at 3pm. They served us anyway, had big Mike burger and fries, my wife the patty melt and it was awesome. Along with the friendly service would recommend and will return!!’

Waited an hour and 15 min for bad hamburgers. Asked waitresses to check on my food 3 time before they discovered they lost the order. I was a regular but this Unacceptable and won’t go again.

Reminds you of a roadside diner from long ago...except for all the TVs hanging on the walls. I liked that they were not tuned to sports. My eggs benedict was not bad, but it took a long time to get it. No employees were wearing a mask, which seems like good customer service, and just common sense. So 5 stars minus one for long wait for food, and another for no masks.

This is a great diner that’s got all the classics and good service and food. Not a big ole chain and it’s got a convenient location as well. I like to help small business in times like this. The breakfast was great.

Food was ok. Service was awful. Took server about 5min to even greet us. She was sitting at counter rolling silverwear. She did walk by our table to get a tip then went back to rolling silverwear. When she brought the food she never checked back. Another server finally ask if we needed our check. It will be a while before we go back.

Food is alright. Their home fries are the best though and so is their orange juice. I intend on coming back and trying something different. I love the home feel the restaurant had.

I really enjoy Capri diner. You get good food at a low cost. Lots of food choices to choose from, breakfast all day. The staff is friendly and the pancakes are amazing. If you like diner style food, this is the place for you

Food was ok, but not what I ordered to start with.... Service was terrible, the waitresses were more interested in talking with each other and flirting with the male customers. Ordered at 12:49, told 5-10 minutes, get there and was told another 5 minutes...ok, finally left at 1:15. Had I not already paid I would have left the first time I had to ASK about my order....probably should be more mindful of others time!

Food is good but Diner made no efforts to contact me on not having anymore vanilla milkshakes if they simply call that would have let them know that any other shake is good so long as I get a shake but they did not make any effort whatsoever placed on order via ubereats. Im very upset that I didnt get a milkshake at all.

This place was good, good prices good portions. I had the Capri special with a waffle. I dont know if it is just my waffle or not but I didnt really care for it much. The rest was amazing.

Clean place. Waitress was awesome. Coffee was good. I had breakfast bowl. All good. Grits were very tasty. Not just boiled in water. However, husband had omelet with sausage, cheese, spinach and onions. Cheese barely melted and the spinach and onions were raw. And, no sausage. Omelets purchased elsewhere have always had veggies cooked to some extent. Did ask Manager if this was just the way this particular place served them. Cant say I got a straight answer other than we should have asked for sauteed veggies.🙄 Never had to do that at other restaurants. She did take it off our bill. Place was a bit crowded and it seemed our wait time for food was a little long. Not a bad experience if youre not getting an omelet.😋 Possibly will try for lunch.

We ordered delivery this morning. EVERYTHING was on point. I dont know the cook, but they need to give him a raise. This is a local small business to support though all of this!

Stopped in for a quick bite of breakfast. The food was perfect. Was at a fair price and the staff was by far the most attentive I have had in a long time. I definitely recommend this hidden jewel.

You want to randomly charge a weekly regular customer $10 without any kind of receipt to show what the charge is for, lost a good customer on that one.

Tried for the first time today and I instantly fell in love! The employees recommended a club sandwich with tater tots and everything was delicious. The tater tots were cooked to perfection and the sandwich was fantastic! I will definitely be visiting again in the near future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

You can pick your choice of creamer- French Vanilla, hazelnut, regular.They need to add whipped cream or some toppings to their pancakes, they’re okay but with the right toppings they can be better.Wait time was about 10 minutes. Price was a bit high in my opinion, but I get it, it’s still a growing business.Overall experience was okay. The convenience of it being literally around the corner from my house is what’s going to bring me back to give their lunch menu a chance.

Ate here twice so far breakfast and lunch. There is nothing special about the food. The service is good. The food is in front of me in a timely manner and its relatively inexpensive. Ill be back for the convenience of a quick bite to eat.

We were seated quickly and everyone was really friendly. Our waitress was knowledgeable and service was great. We ordered breakfast and everything was great. In my opinion, the serving size for the potatoes was adequate. Great to have something like this close by! I would recommend them.

I’ve been here 10+ times because it’s right by my house and I’d say it’s average diner food at very reasonable prices. They’ve gotten better since they opened - they keep adding new items to the menu and the food quality is continually improving. I remember telling them the French Toast could use some powdered sugar and now they add that. You can tell they listen to their customers. I’ve had one crazy long wait for food but it’s not a regular thing. Servers are always nice. I’m super excited they added the beyond meat burger because the plant based options were lacking.

I ordered lunch today for my husband and I. The diner is clean, the service fast, the food delicious. The portion sizes are good sized but not crazy big. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals. Next visit will be eating at the restaurant. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

A little disappointed. I spent almost 13 dollars on steak and eggs. My plate showed up with about 4 bites of potatoes, a small portion of eggs(compared to other restaurants), and a knife that couldnt cut the fat. I hope they invest in real steak knives, they gave me a thin knife with extremely small serrations with a pink handle. You kind of lose your mood when you have to cut your steak 3 times to take a bite. The toast tasted a little weird, maybe it was the butter. Some reviewers said the coffee was good, I must have got a bad batch. I had to drown it in creamer and sugar. To leave it on a positive note, I give this place 3 stars for the friendly staff, the steak tasted great, and it does look very clean in here like most have mentioned. Ill come back, maybe in a couple months though. To see if they have made any changes.
