Stopped in for breakfast and glad we did! The menu had pretty much anything I wanted, I ordered the double Eggs Benedict. It was really good, the eggs were cooked perfectly, I really enjoyed them. My wife had an omelette, but she asked it scrambled.The service was top notch! We definitely go back if in the area again.

I loved this place years ago. The interior is nice and relaxing however the bathrooms really need to be cleaned. The plates of food were huge and the food was excellent. Sadly they are now skimp on the amount of food while charging more. The pancakes used to be huge but McDonalds has better and larger pancakes than the near silver dollar pancake wannabes they are now serving. Look at the picture of the eggs attached. That is what they call a sausage and egg omelette. It used to be big, plate filing culinary delight. The shriveled little egg in that picture is something I could actually finish and have room for other stuff. The English muffin is good but you gotta make sure you ask for more butter because it appears to be in limited supply in the kitchen. The buttery brush barely touched the muffin. I hadnt been here in a while because they changed their syrup and started skimping on portions. I tried it againg but this visit was very disappointed at what they serve for the price you are paying. The food at competitors is much better for the same price. I am sorry to see them go down hill. Ill miss the Ultimates that were so worth the trip here.

Very lovely diner. Has that classic diner feel without the mess. Owners must really care about the place. Place is kept up very well. My wife would have loved a skillet type meal but compromised with some hash browns. Thank you for the good service and good food!

I had the open face roast beef sandwich special to go. It had wonderful flavor, seasoned well and the beef very tinder. For my preference, would like a bit more gray even if on the side. I love the bread toasted but not buttered, I will remember to request those changes next time.

The food is always great! The service not so much. When you ask for coffee during breakfast time and don’t get your coffee... no so happy. Service is something that can make or break a business. If you don’t mind poor service I promise you will enjoy the food!

Great selection of food to choose from. I had lunch and found Liver and Onions, which I love. Real good. Was very happy with the food and price was fair. Very clean and nice people.

I came to Beach Diner today and I had a pleasant experience. It was a busy day but we waited for 20 minutes but it was worth the wait! We noticed that they were short staffed but the customer service was still impressive. Our server made sure that we were still taken care of and the food was really great! The left coast omelette is a must try as I’ve enjoyed it. I recommend this place.

Just an honest review. Referred by a friend and tried it out. Very nice clean beach themed restaurant. Waitress wasn’t very pleasant and didn’t get some of the basics like bringing the salad before the meal. Food was not bad but nothing to ride home about. Portion size was pretty small. Maybe if we caught them on a different day it would’ve been better!

Poor service Extremely greasy potatoes Luke warm eggs. Only item was Good was coffee had to ask for sweetener Mgr made excuses for cold & poor service. My wife & I left without eating.

We went as a group of five right around 12, even with church just getting out, the wait was short. The food was good, and the tables were well spaced. Even with it being busy, it wasnt loud and didnt feel crowded. I get sensory overload easily in restaurants, but not here. The chairs were also really nice. 10/10

I don’t have many good things to say about this place except the manager who ended up being our waiter due to being short staffed was very accommodating. My mom wanted to try this for a quick lunch date after seeing an advertisement a few times. I was disappointed. The food was extremely bland. I had to send my chicken salad pita back. I tried a bite of my mom’s patty melt and it was even more bland like it wasn’t seasoned at all. I assume that their breakfast items may taste better but I doubt I’ll return. The manager was very kind and removed the items from the tab which shows that the value customer service which is a plus.

My wife and I had Sunday brunch here after Mass. it was busy, but one table was ready when we arrived. I had the steak and eggs and it came with pancakes too. Oh yes! The steak here was flavorful compared to other diner we ate at the prior week. Service was great too.

The food and customer service here is amazing! I’ve ordered eggs on the bayou and it tasted great. I also enjoyed the ambiance as the diner was clean and the employees were friendly. They are also practicing social distancing and all employees were wearing mask and there are sanitizers available on every corner of the store. I’ve also seen how the employees clean the tables and it made me feel safe eating there. I will definitely come back here and bring my friends and family!

Awesome place. Friendly environment, polite hosts greeters walking in the Diner. Delicious food. My husband and daughter and myself stubble one day across this diner and faithfully goes there for our breakfast. I gave it a 5 star because it deserves it. Our server was so prompt and very sweet i didnt get her name but definitely dont forget a face ❤🤗so will make sure i mention ger for next review . The quality and quantity of food was so overfilling, Im a vegan my veggie omelet was yummy yummy yummy Yummy. Thank you Beach Diner for showing so much love and warmth. God bless you all

Decided to try this place out after hearing good things about the food. I arrived with 7 of my friends who all came to visit from different states to be greeted in an unpleasant manner. Very unwelcoming vibe we received from this place as if we didn’t belong there. After not being the only person of the group of 7 who felt the unwelcoming vibe, we decided to leave. Won’t be returning or recommending this place.

Ive been coming to this place with my wife and family for over 2 years now and quite often. Great staff except for the new manager who tells the waitresses or cooks to serve only one slice of toast with breakfast meals instead of 2 as they normally do. Wow, what profits this must make for them. They have a new looking menu that has now raised the cost of 2 eggs, toast (just one) and a side from $4.99 to $6.99. Id probably would still pay it but being nickeled and dimed over a slice of toast while increasing the cost by 40% has really turned me off. Ill be going to Metro which is closer. . . Went to Metro, much heartier and for the same price I get another slice and peppers & onions. Thats Metro below in the pic

A/c clearly wasnt working right. Started out serving my two children sour chocolate milk. Waited 20 mins to order to be served sub par food. Kids waffles were were well done, bacon hard as a rock. I ordered steak and eggs. The steak and pancakes were served on the same plate so the pancakes were sitting in the steak juices. No thanks worst 50$ breakfast I have ever had.

I dont visit here often enough, but every time I do its great. If youve never been, do yourself a favor and stop in for breakfast or lunch. They serve all your cafe favorites as well as home cooked specialties like pork chops and black-eyed peas. You wont be disappointed.

Food is usually good, not today. Asked the waitress for a non-greasy hamburger. Hamburger was very greasy. I asked the manager, his reply was well its a hamburger isnt it. He did not offer to replace it. Not the response from the manager I was looking for. It will be some time before I go again, if ever!

Ive been a few times trying to like it. Its not bad, but nothing special. The service is mostly good. The breakfast burrito is extremely bland. Otherwise, I am pretty neutral with my experiences there. Nothing to write home about.

A few of my coworkers and I have made this place our Friday lunch ritual. The food is always great and service is always just as good. Today was different. We typically have no problem going in, being seated immediately, and ordering within 10 minutes (which is great because we only get an hour for lunch). We came in today and were seated immediately and got our drinks just as fast. 10 minutes passed and not one waitress had asked if we were ready to order. We figured they looked kind of busy and there were a few tables leaving, so we waited a while longer. 10 more minutes passed and, still, not one waitress came to ask us if we were ready to order. We heard two of the waitresses ask each other if it was their table, but they said it was the other waitress table. They never acknowledged us or anything... So, we put cash on the table for our drinks and left.I usually leave with a smile, but today was a little different... Not sure if I even want to go back at this point, considering were pretty regular and still got treated this way.

I have been eating at Beach Diner Mandarin from the beginning and I have “never” had a bad meal or been disappointment with an order. The food is consistently above average as is menu and daily specials board whether breakfast or lunch. The wait staff is always friendly and accommodating even when business is slammed. Sunday’s there is usually a wait to be seated but it is worth it. If there are 2 waiting and don’t mind seating at counter is usually your best bet. Enjoy!!!

Things seem to be going downhill for this establishment. I take my mother here once a week and the last 3 times its gotten worse and worse. Breakfast plates cold,overcooked flavorless bacon and homefries. Lunch platters served with obvious canned vegetables. You would think with the prices they charge you would expect fresh!!

Today my server was Tracy who greeted me with a smile even the mask couldnt hide. Tracy keep up the phenomenal work. Thank again for awesome service.

This was my first time in this restaurant. Was not waiting time. That day the weather was good and we chose to sit outside. The server was very attentive to anything we needed. Our food was out in a reasonable time and was great. Overall was a great breakfast, my family and I will continue to dine at this location hopefully for many more years. Thanks

Nice little diner in mandarin. Food was hot and tasted pretty good. Service was great and very helpful. I was a little upset they had no hash browns, or biscuits and gravy. A little bright in restaurant at 6 am. Definitely an eye opener that early. All and all, will definitely go back.

We came into the Beach Diner expecting a water view and beachy atmosphere... we were wrong on a couple things. Even though the only water view came from our glasses on the table and a picture on the wall, we enjoyed every bit of it. The place was great!Jessica, our waitress, was fantastic. Cute atmosphere, very beachy. Clean and seated right away. Food was nothing special. I got the shrimp/crab omelette and hubby got the burrito. Very bland. Staff was friendly. Food was served fairly quickly considering how crowded it was.
