Le Macaron visit - delicious French pastries and of course macaroons!!! Also got the chocolate cigar with hazelnut filling. Yummm. Sweet girl working at the cashier thank you for your recommendation.

Not a big chocolate person but their chocolate is amazing. Everything was great. The macarons are way better than the close relative the macaroons. The lady working was very knowledgeable. My 2 year old tried to draw on the display with a piece of chocolate the lady gave her while we was talking & she wouldnt let me clean it off she did it and was super nice about it as i was so embarrassed lol. But shes only 2 so it happens.

I love this little shop. The woman working today was soooooo nice. She gave us sample of the gelato & birthday cake macaron; both were incredible! I had to buy some of these adorable & decedent holiday chocolates. #Cute 🥰 🍬 my friend got more chocolate & some macarons but I didn’t get a pic. Stop by and indulge in some decadent treats, you deserve it after 2020.

Everything is beyond delicious! And BEAUTIFUL! I love the little chocolate Eifel towers. The petifors are so amazing, I could make myself sick eating every single flavor!

Disappointed. Stale cake. Melted gelato/sorbet. Macarons were good but horribly expensive - $2.60 for a teeny weeny little bite sized macaron.

Stale lava cake. They were out of almost all gelato except one, which was grainy textured. Very expensive for the size of the cake and macarons.

This was the first time I had macarons and I have to say I was a little disappointed. Overall, I loved the texture and bite of them, but a couple of them were underbaked and really moist/mushy. The flavors were bland. They all pretty much tasted the same, even my kids agreed. Did I get the wrong flavors? I dont know but Im a bit surprised by all of these rave reviews. Judging by all of the pretty colors and their popularity recently, I expected them to each have a pop of unique flavor. Anyway, the store was cute and clean, the girl behind the counter was friendly and I cant say I would never come back because I would try them again. They were quite pricey though, $15 for 6 of them.

It’s safe to say I have found my macaron location! There is so much variety of fresh macarons not to mention all the other pastries available. There is also coffee and ice cream at your disposal in a relaxing setting. Over all I highly recommend Le Macaron French Pastries.

I walked almost two miles for exercise to reward myself with some macarons testing. First time in the patisserie, it was a welcoming and different experience. After I examined the two macarons,which were $ 2.50 each, I was not a fan of the kind of homemade look of the sweets. BUT, after I savoured them, I was delighted. They melted in my mouth. I could say, one of the best I have eaten in Florida. If you are visiting Avondale on Jacksonville, this place is a must.

First time visiting this awesome location. My baby girl had sorbet, my baby boy had vanilla ice cream and I had pralines and another flavor that Id never had before that chips of macarons. It was a-mazing 🥰. Before we left we bought a 6sleeve of macarons that almost didnt make the night but definitely wont make the weekend. We will be back and I totally recommend this place.

The sweet lady who served us (Im so sorry I didnt get your name) absolutely MADE our experience. She talked with us about the flavors, history and questions my kids had about the macrons. We would come back just to experience this excellent customer service.... but the desserts were also fabulous (great array of flavors!). They are expensive, its true (almond flour is expensive and thats what they make the macrons with so they are all gluten free). . But its worth it for the experience.

Such such such great macarons! I cannot help but come back to this place. Their coconut flavor was a surprise to me. I can still taste what is like the coconut shreds, but the gritty texture isnt there. This is the first Ive ever had it like that!

Lovely little place! Lots of options to satisfy your seer tooth. They serve gelati, maccaroons, pastries, chocolates, and more! The coffees are delicious and we love the atmosphere and decor. They are a bit pricey though.

Stumbled upon this beautiful shop while visiting Jacksonville! Customer Service was wonderful and desserts were even better! My husband and I loved the Belgian Chocolate, Mon Cheri and Red Velvet macaroons among others! Coffee was wonderfully flavored 10/10 would recommend!

Delicious macarons

This became an instant favorite for me! I was greeted immediately with a smile and friendly service. The macaroons are magnificent and the cappuccino was equally as good.I wished I lived closer to make this a daily visit, but every weekend will have to do.

Delicious pastries and gelato.

I usually purchase from the Saint Augustine area 2 shops. This time I purchased from Avondale and I got chocolates with mold inside. How long can you have it so that it’s molded? That was a waste of $15 in chocolates. Won’t go back to return it’s around 30 minutes away from me.

This is such a quaint, pretty and delicious spot to eat tasty delicacies after a walk in the park or after a run on riverside. Staff is always polite and helpful. Kensy helped me choose macaroons to gift my mother, she told me all the flavors and she knew her content about the pastries really well. I love the decor, fits well w/ the theme! Would definitely recommend! ❤️

Love love love love! The macaroons are absolutely divine; the black currant being my favorite. The pralines are out of this world. The food is delicious. A bit on the pricey side, but the staff is extraordinarily friendly and the treats they offer follow suit.

EDIT: Ive been coming here for almost three years and this used to be a great place to get ice cream.Went in yesterday and maybe its new staff, or maybe its the new COVID serving size, or maybe....If I can see the bottom of my cup before I have even taken a scoop, then something is wrong.Naturally, reducing my star rating.BEFORE:5 stars. Nice clean confectionery. Great ice cream and of course the macaroons!

I actually liked the macrons the next day when it was room temperature but they were very good. However, I loveeee pink lemonade and had to try theirs. IT WAS SO GOOD! So refreshing compared to American lemonade. I really enjoyed it & wish I had a case😫

Im conflicted as to how I should review this place because our 2 experiences at this location were completely opposite.Last time we came here it was a good experience. The employee was really kind and helpful. They made our fresh glace violet flower gelato and it was delicious. Their attitude and warmth in addition to the wonderful treat was enough for us to get additional items based on suggestions from her and her kind chat.Today however, 12/21, was a complete 180. The person wasnt even at the store. They came in from their car a few minutes after we came in. We asked for the same items and they went ahead to say they didnt make them... that they were premade and they only had vanilla. This was odd cause weve had them made 3 times now and this was the first time weve heard this. We still went ahead and got them, paid and sat down. Much to our surprise, the person left the store again to go sit at their car... leaving the store alone again. What kind of service is that?Im going to give it 4 simply because the first experience was so wonderful. Could have been 5 but alas this more recent experience was terrible in comparison . I would give it less but Id feel bad for the kinder older lady from the first time. Just be wary of whos working on the day you visit.

Customer service left a lot to be desired. The woman seemed annoyed from the start, never cracked a smile, rolled her eyes, & was clearly trying to rush us so she could get back to sitting in front of her laptop. I just wish we’d had an employee with a better attitude - or one that didn’t find answering questions & giving samples to be such aggravating tasks. The macarons that weren’t stale tasted great. The shop itself is very cute.

My friend and I went there after diner. We enjoyed a cappuccino and delicious macarons. Very sweet young lady at the counter. Ill be back :-)

The lady at the shop was SO incredibly nice and prideful of their products. They have hand-painted, detail crafted chocolates that look like the eiffel tower, lipsticks, etc Their Macarons are absolutely to die for. The whole experience was just so special for such a quick stop on the way out of town-- I will CERTAINLY be going back soon

Love the macarons texture on point. 4 stars because the pistachio macaron had wayyy too much almond extract flavor it might as well be an almond macaron. Not a fan at all. The mango one did not taste like mango, it was more like apricot. Everything else is delicious.

Nice variety.

The location is a historical site. I found the establishment to be very quaint and nestled perfectly in the neighborhood. There was only one person working. I was there to pick up macaroons for my daughter. The only thing that I did not like about the whole experience was the way the cashier was looking at me. She did not have a pleasant look on her face, Im not sure what was going on with her but I didnt take it personal.

Great desserts! The setting is well put together, the staff is very welcoming and I was serviced in a timely manner thanks to Kensy. I will be back!

Oh course macaroons ... but other delicious pastry and food choices. Fresh made hot and cold coffee drinks. The inside is charming but they also have an attractive forecourt with tables and seating.

I felt like I was back in France! I had a delicious Almond Croissant and a Caramel Iced Latte. Yummy! The staff is so sweet too!!

An excellent, quaint little establishment! The pistachio gelato was light and flavorful! The decor is wonderful, and the staff are friendly and polite! I highly recommend coming here if you have a craving for any dessert!

Thought that this was a bakery but it is not. More of an ice cream shop or sweet shop. Not what i was expecting.

Very disappointed. The macarons are kept at the wrong temperature, making them a bit soggy. The pistachio had very little pistachios in it and was mostly Marzipan (Almond). The Napoleon was very hard and not fresh. Should be flaky. The Gelato is not made in house and old as can be told by the skin.........how do I know? I grew up in Europe with a dad who is a master pastry chef. Not worth the visit, nor the cost.

I like the place but I dont like one of the associates. She didnt make you feel invited in. She was just more on the line of get your stuff and go type of attitude! My daughter loves them but I would rather drive to the avenues to that store instead of the one in Avondale just because of her.

I visit this place almost weekly. Everything on the menu is wonderful and the staff is always so helpful and nice. The coffee is great and the treats are addictive. A must try in Jacksonville!

I said if la macaron had a personality, its to a T the tiny French woman who works here. Shes so bubbly, helpful, and always gets my order perfect. The desserts are equal parts beautiful and delicious and the coffee is perfect.

I went there 10 minutes ago 6:48pm and the cashier told me is closed. It wasnt 7pm yet.

Very friendly and well informed staff, some actually from France. (Hows that for authenticity?). Delicious baked goods and gelato. They allow samples if youve never had it before. Overall a great place to grab a snack, coffee, or tea and relax. The only downside was that it was primarily just macaroons and gelato with a few chocolates and candies. It there was a bigger selection like most French patisseries it would be an easy 5 star. They even have gelato in macaroons, crazy! But delicious.

Super nice lady and helpful but for a place called le macaron we were excited for some great tasting macarons, they were very chewy and and sickly sweet. Macarons are supposed to have a light chew to them and not overpowered by sweetness so youCan taste the flavors. Very nice lady once again but was disappointed.

A friend recommended this beautiful shop with their variety of colorful macaroons. They have a beautiful variety of other chocolates, gelato and pasteries. I was so impressed with the care they took to get my order correct and wrapped beautifully. The service was extremely friendly. The macaroons are amazing and I will definitely be back. Next time I will bring friends for a coffee also.

Decent desserts but highly overpriced. 2.50 for one? Theyre not that good. No discount for a box of 6, pointless. We were not impressed. The store was nice as well as the lady working, except she couldnt recommend any since she only had tasted one flavor.

Dark Chocolate ???_______flavor crunch - dark chocolate was awesome - inside crunch - flavorless and crunchless. $15 dollars - I will try the gellato. But I hope it will be fresh and full of flavor. Especially for the price. I dont mind paying but I expect perfection in a $2.50 cookie.

Not just Macarons.....the gelato is delicious and the Macarons are very elegant. Didnt try the coffees or chocolate, but a girl has to pace herself in a shop like this. Loved Rhiannon. She was so helpful and very patient with all of our questions.

There are a lot of options for macarons here, but not much else. The macarons we had were really good, but super pricy for what you get!
