My friend visiting from out of town is a retired marine and he wanted to go check out the base. So we also went to The exchange. Back when I was a marine life the prices were always better at The exchange. But I did not find this so on this visit

Staff is super friendly good selection of snacks, soft drinks, beer and alcohol. Hours of operation make no sense for a Massive Corps Air Station, opens too late and closes way too early. Barber shop hours are also less than ideal.

This is a nice exchange. They didn’t have big bottles of aveda hair products but I can order them online.

I used the new machine for dispensing medication. You have to call in for a refill and you have to bring the prescription number with you to identify your order. Once you answer a few questions and pick a username and a password, you are signed it to the machine and only need to know your user name and password. This machine is going to make an easy task even easier!!

We sat in line for only a short time. We were directed by PMO which pump to use. We were able to fill our tank on our minivan!! Thank you!! 🇺🇸

Always a good experience when I visit MCX. However, try and go during the week when all the ICT Marines are allowed to go doing for ridiculous motto clothes and a motto bag to carry it all.Yes items are tax free there, but dont expect to truly save a lot of money. There has been tons of improvements of the years and its looking fantastic!

Its always clean. Besides it being occasionally very busy its perfect.

Pretty small for an exchange, but it has a lot of variety. Has great sales and price matches. Which is a huge benefit when tack on no sales tax. Also, any place with clearance liquor has to get 5 stars!

Has your basic Marine stuff and fast food as well as electronics section. Be prepared to stand in line with the MCT Marines walking around. Pro tip - if youre permanent personnel you can skip everyone and go to register #1.

Its always squeaky clean; the associates are always rosy cheeked and happy to assist you with anything you may need. Military and civilian apparel, hygiene products, food, alcohol, electronics. And its tax free. 👀

They have absolutely everything you could want or need. Also a very friendly staff. I was also Military, but no Marines, but my friend is a retired Marine of 36 years. He said uses this place often and that theyre very accommodating.

I just love how vets serve and give blood sweat and tears but can’t shop there as a veteran.

Exchanges are as expected its relative to base size and this location is no different. Easy in easy out as it has the basics so no long drive to mainside. Friendly people, clean environment, and as organized as space permits.

Good store with a great deal of items. However, youll need to go over to Camp Lejeune for a full selection of items

I visit the MCAS New River Marine Corps Exchange often because of the selection of products available, the price of the products, and the convenience of the store location.

Great store to browse they have a wide range of stuff from clothing, gear, knickknacks, military memorabilia, electronics, knives, shoes/boots/sandals some snacks or even liquor. They are very friendly and helpful staff service animal friendly and very clean building.

Love, love, love this place! Customer service is absolutely excellent. Always happy to help and easy to have a conversation with regardless of who I’m interacting with. Thank you, guys, for being awesome.

Love shopping military exchanges. Found some really good deals.

Small store but they carry a good selection of items. Even a lot of tourist items for those just visiting. Still surprised every time I enter an Exchange and see hard liquor for sale along side everything else.

This place has most of the stuff you need they got beverages, snack, cleaning supplies, personal supplies, clothes, make up, and other stuff. The prices are a little more than other stores but its still good because you dont have to travel far its on base. The people who work there are friendly and helpful.

Small but provides the necessaries. Commissary is next door and there are plenty of options.

MCAS Is a Mini version of the main PX. Everything from sunflower seeds to clothing and in between. Fast service, courteous service. Doesnt need an elevator. Is they dont have what you want all you have to do is put in a request.

Great place to shop. However, it is smaller than Main Exchange on Camp Lejeune.

Its basically target with the Marine Corps logo on it. Not bad but nothing exceptional

The selection of gear is very good, the only caveat is that it is sometimes difficult to find the price of merchandise.

Guess that 10 years of service means nothing to the exchange since I wasnt allowed to buy my items. I have a CAC since Im a contractor still providing a service to the Corps, but because Im not retired, active duty, or a dependent I was treated as if I never served.

My son is in the Marines and every MCX I have been in has been an excellent experience.

Got in and out quickly, customer service was exceptional, the floors were impececcably clean and glossy, and we found what we were looking for easily.

Very well run MCX.

Needs more checkout staff in the morning but otherwise decent exchange! If they could open before 6 it would be beneficial but the fact tht they are open at 6am is still awesome.
