Me and a buddy went in to get some things for my party and he was the member. When checking out the associate would not let me pay with my card. It had to be my buddy who had to pay. I was not gonna charge up 500 plus on his card. Such a dumb place. Will not be going back.

I simply love this big box machine! Long lines but they get you out. Well stocked, fresh meats, veggies and fruits. Always something new to sample.

I kept hearing that Costco was really nice,so I decided to give it a try even though I live a decent ways away.Pros:The place always clean and the ladies giving free samples were nice.Cons:I felt the guy who I signed up with for a membership was too pushy and the products were no different than other like stores. When I went to check out, the bagger told me that the bagels were 2for. I didnt feel like going back or waiting, plus I dont eat that much and it would have gone to waste which is what I told the girl. She looked over to the cashier to ask if it was OK and said she just wants one not sure why, people are just weird. [Using your inside voice might be a little nice]. The place was too busy to have talk to a manager plus, I was tired. Otherwise, thats what I would have done. Also, they had yet another person there to scan my items to try and upsell me to the premium membership. I know this is a business but Im there to shop. Thats ALL I want to do. Hopefully, my second experience is better.

Was at Costco today and they had a limited supply of paper products. Didnt noticed much of a shortage. Pork ribs, pork sausage and pork shoulders are priced higher. Chicken is normal and beef is slightly higher. Masks arent required and lots of people are wearing them.

Taylor in merchandise returns assisted me today. She couldn’t have been more delightful or easy to work with. Normally, I feel really embarrassed having to return something but she made me feel comfortable. Excellent customer service.

No gas station. Inside a mall makes parking a bit crowded. Great people. If you need help there always available to meet expectation. I use 🦽 and they make shopping so easy for as much that they assign a person to help you do the shopping.

This Costco isnt anything like the Costco off Collins, as far as customer service is concerned. On more than one occasion Ive went to their food court after shopping like I did today and wouldnt be acknowledged as to even being there. Standing there money in hand while the service worker writes in her little book. Not a yes maam Ill be right with you or anything, she never even looked up. Ive always appreciated my home store so much that we know most of the regular employees by name. We can be in there sometimes three times a week. After seeing that this store has a regular issue with their customer service after several visits, I wanted to make it known that there isnt much of a comparison between the two stores when it comes to customer care. They didnt even have boxes available today for loading the items into. With all of that being said, the name Costco isnt necessarily a guarantee for good service. The area of town, employees or leadership matters too!

Cant go wrong with Costco pizza, a churro, a fruit smoothie, and a chicken bake; I guess today is my cheat day lol

Love Costco. Love their products. Love the people that work there. Very organized, specially during long lines when people are checking out.The people that shop there are a bunch of rude, loud people. They have no consideration for others and will run you over if you get in their way. As many times Ive been there, that doesnt change.But I love Costco so I will keep going back.

Costco is great, and now they are doing samples again. If you want one of their pizzas, order before you shop and then pick it up. They will hold prep for the rest of your order. The store has pretty good deals, but the real benefit comes from the higher end (cheeses, wines, meat, etc.) that are priced real well all the time.

My favorite part of shopping at this location is Lupe L. in the pharmacy. She is always helpful, polite, and just all around the sweetest lady! She helped me today and then I had to wait for my refill so I went and did my shopping. When I came back about 50 minutes later she remembered my name even though she had helped a lot people since out short encounter earlier. She is the hidden gem in that store. I hope Costco realizes how wonderful this employee is.

I waited 24 hours before writing this review. I have been a member since 2000 and have shopped this location many times. Yesterday, I encountered an employee, Mike Midget.. First of all, I am the customer and I dont care if you have wedged paper plates in the seat of buggies, hundreds of times { as Mike proceeded to tell me } when I asked him not to. I could not get them out of the seat. I will not be talked to like that. I am spending my money that helps pay his salary. Costco is no longer customer focused as they are essential and they seem to think we need them more than they need us. Well, guess what, I dont have to shop at Costco. Sadly, Costco could care less. There are no consequences for rude Costco employees.

No flowers for Easter. Had hibiscus and gardenia trees, and lots of tomato plants. Pats nursery is a better deal on most of the plants. Excellent costumer service. Liqure store on the outside.

They would not let me on the account unless the account holder is there. When you sign up you get an extra person. Well she cant be there because she passed away.

Closest Costco to St Augustine until they finish the one in St Augustine. Large clean and the staff is very nice. Theyre amazing how quick they can check you out.

First all the good, I absolutely love this Costco . Is incredibly convenient to get into and out of, you couldnt ask for better parking, and and all of about 12 years Ive been going there I have never once had a single Costco employee I would complain about.The store and parking lot are always impeccably clean, well-maintained and well secured. And the variety of the products available is pretty impressive.Okay, then negative.. it drives me insane when I find a product at Costco that I absolutely love, and tell other people wow you have to try this.. only to go back a week or two later and see that this product has disappeared from the shelves.I know it happens, it happens everywhere. But my God it happened to Costco at least once a month.. Kirklands clam chowder, best clam chowder on Earth.., oops, gone no longer available at Costco.. broccoli cheddar soup, best I have ever eaten in my life,.. oops no longer available.So incredibly frustrating.Besides that though, best bakery in Jacksonville, best rotisserie chicken Ive ever eaten in my life, incredible Pharmaceutical Department, fantastic staff.. so overall yes I do love Costco

Have a love hate with location - it is twice the size of any other costco I have been to with 3-4 times the selection of items.We also went on a Sunday afternoon and it was SO packed it was overwhelming people everywhere isles got jamed and it was just a random Sunday not even the holidays or anything

Typical layout and shelves were well stocked and neat. I did NOT notice a had station here.

Service, warranty and quality of goods have all declined over the years.Worse, Ive been guilt tripped on a couple of returns, which were my only returns ever at Costco and were due to the products literally falling apart.Their extended TV warranties are not worth the paper theyre written on.

Love Costco. Great new things to discover. Ample parking. Just avoid it on the weekends and evenings, the crowds are horrendous.

Its a great Costco location. The traffic is a little nuts, especially around open and 5pm but if you can make it during an off time youll have free roam of the store. ALSO Samples & Indoor dining is back!

This location is always crazy busy but the store itself is kept clean and tidy. Some cashiers can be more friendly but I would imagine that at one point you would become numb with all those people constantly asking you questions. Cant beat Costco prices.

This Costco is great. I have family that lives in the area and we go by this Costco almost every time we are in town visiting. This Costco location is kept very clean compared to others that I have visited. Even the womens restroom has always been clean - every single time I used it. My favorite sections, that I almost always purchase products from are the flowers section and the cheese section. The fresh fish (when they have it) has always been a crowd pleaser. And of course, buying in bulk makes things easier for feeding a large family when gather together.

We had not been to Costco in a while. We felt safe while shopping and the store attendants were friendly and helpful. Sample product stations were open so shopping felt almost normal again.

I came in as I had to return something. Taylor at the refund desk provided excellent service, she processed the refund but also recommended an alternative product that has worked better than the one I had bought. Thank you Taylor for taking the time to listen as I explained why I was returning the item.

Who would give less than 5 stars for Costco ?

Very busy but well oiled process with oversight as needed to keep people moving thru checkout. My cashier worked quickly and spoke to me making sure my needs were met. Thanks for another great experience. Barbara Smith

Large private club shopping, wide selection of quality products. Problem is, its always packed. Hard to find parking and long check out lines. Some stores even have gas, but not this one...

Variety of products and good prices. Great fruits and vegetables.

Busy, but not crowded. Almost no lines at checkout. Unfortunately, the door greeter was forcibly advising everyone that masks are no longer longer required. It was almost as if he was urging us to remove our masks. Thats not going to happen. The virus is still present and, while probably scientifically sound, the new CDC guidelines are going to result in the most irresponsible behaving even more irresponsibly. All are likely to pay the price. But I digress. Otherwise Costco was friendly and efficient as usual.

These Costco employees are efficient and fast. The store is clean, stocked and checkout was a breeze!

I only go to Costco for the pharmacy. My prescription is the cheapest there. There is a short-haired Spanish lady that works behind the counter at the pharmacy named Lupe. She is as nice and helpful of a person as I have ever met. Always a big smile on her face that can change anyones day. I sure hope Costco realizes what they have with her as an employee. I seen an employee of the month parking spot thats always empty. I sure would like to see her parking there. she is so great that she deserves valet parking to her employee of the month spot. If you dont believe me go see for yourself

Great holiday gifts for the Grandchildren

Costco is the place to go if you have to stock up on groceries and a lot of other stuff. But it is a member only store. You need to purchase one of their membership plans to shop online/in-store.But its worth because the quality of the products are exceptional and you save each time since youre buying in bulk which could easily be more than the membership price if you shop more. Very happy and definitely recommend!

Line was a little long but moved very fast. Staff was very helpful and nice even though it was busy on a holiday weekend. This is a well run store. Well stocked

Amazing deals, wonderful service. The biggest issue is, being in the metropolis of Jacksonville, this Costco is super crowded. Lines routinely stretch to the back of the store(and i go early!)My solution would be to open three more Costcos in Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Flagler County.

Shopping around ten this morning. Store was not crowded. Pleasant experience, the shelves were full. Easy in, easy out.

So busy, I love costco and wish they had more closer to Gainesville

I am from a much smaller market. Costco is always busy- but this one was insane. Im not sure if the 50,000 people shopping there were planning for the apocalypse or just a giant Easter weekend, but this place was packed and intense. Normally leave Costco shopping to my wife- but it was vacation and i was told I had to go. Like a good husband, I take directions well. I may have PTSD from this experience.

I was berated and told to leave because I had the nerve to eat a hotdog, that I bot there, because I had to have a mask. I did play along but had to pull it by to take a bite. I was also surrounded by people with a mask on their chin...INCLUDING EMPLOYEES. I said thank you and just left without incident. This same mask that has been proven ineffective. It’s literally the only place in FL I have been that is clinging to the draconian measures that have been thrust upon us. I will never shop here again after the treatment I received.

I still like Costco as a company even though I am giving the lowest rating for today’s visit. I had a very strange, even stomach turning encounter with the return counter person named Taylor, a lady with a badge indicating impressively 19 years of disservice at Costco (since 2002). I did not actually return anything. I understand some return counter staff may experience emotional and mental distress due to disgusting things that despicable people did to Costco return policy. I went there simply to change a special order that was mistakenly placed twice a few hours ago on the same day. I am still spending close to $900 for this order after all. That Taylor lady was wearing a clear acrylic “Star War” like mask which looks really cool, by the way. I politely greeted her and told her what I needed. Strangely, she pulled a clipboard from under, and threw at the counter right in front of me, and mumbled something that I could not hear. She started to heavily punch the keys on her register. There was not a single conversation for about 5 minutes. She handed me a receipt without a word. I still said thank you since I was brought up and taught to always be kind to others. She said nothing. From silent eye contacts and her facial expression behind that cool transparent “Star War” like mask, I could feel she was sad, mad or full of hatred, which deeply concerned me. I kept asking myself why this incident occurred. Is it because Costco changed return policy that I am not aware, or is it because I am a polite minority that Taylor “Karen “dislikes, or perhaps something I did offended her? This Taylor “Karen” might need to seek professional psychiatric consultation for better emotional control in order to suit her position at Costco front line. To conclude, I am not a snowflake whose feeling is easily hurt and I don’t normally pull racial card and I despise unethical return. I will still like my Costco. Thank you for reading.

Having been to my share of Costco stores along the FL east and west coasts; this Costco seems to always be very busy, well run, stocked on nearly all goods and very clean- for such a busy Costco! Parking can be full at times. Very well run Costco- in all departments!

Great staff in this store. It tends to get busy often, resulting in long checkout lines, but they manage it well. Getting to/leaving the parking lot can be challenging at times.

Boy was this placed packed. Selection was good, but the large crowd made it difficult to navigate around the store.

Easy in, easy out. Just needed a few things. Dont worry about long check out queue it moves quickly.

I just became a member, & enjoyed the huge selection & savings there.

Feb 27, 2021, Saturday, I checked out at self service line but a cashier was there. I pointed to the items in my cart and told the cashier I wanted those items to be paid first. She quickly grabbed the only item closest to me but not included in my “paid first” order and scanned it. I told her that item will be paid next separately. She looked at me said, “I do not see any difference”! Well, if I did not make a request to have those items scanned first, there would be no difference - I agreed. Besides, I was with a friend and I wanted my friend to check out first as a courtesy. The cashier has a name tag labeled “Linda” and I would highly recommend a behavioral coaching or customer service 101 or whatever available. Thanks.

Great prices. VERY goid service. We needed some help and one of the em0loyees took the time to help us. We appreciated that very much. Shopping INSANITY in that place! A zillion shoppers. It was tough getting around in there with a cart. And, in 24 hours, they sold out of what we were there for (pool noodles & floaties). Well definitely go back.

Amazing customer service, great prices, phenomenal food and quality, great pizza, chicken bake, churros, acai frozen yogurt and bowl, alcoholic and non alcoholic drink selections, etc. Every thing comes in bulk. Always prepared for storms.

Customer Service and door staff were courteous. Our biggest gripe was standing in line twice once at the registers, and then again at the theft prevention point t by the door. To be clear, the amount of available registers and wait to check out was ridiculous. Oh well . . . guess it just means we spend more time at that other club just down the road that starts with an S. Hmm. . . Whats the name?

This Costco is conveniently at town center which is a easy drive down JTB from the Beaches area. Though the new Orange Park store is newer and has Top Tier gasoline, dont dismiss this convenient location. Pretty much all you need at Costco can be bought here.I just dont care for the Pharmacy. It is too difficult for maintenance refills unless you are a technical guru.This store is kept clean and well stocked. The cashiers do a remarkable job keeping the lines moving. So a five deep line moves as fast as a two deep line at Sams Club. I also have never found a Kirkland (Costco in house brand) to be less in quality to the comparable national brand.
