★★★★★ 2 minutes ago I am very pleased with the work that My Granite Guys did, and their professionalism. They were thorough, quick, and efficient; they also have a great sense of humor. Trudy was very easy to work with and was able to get the most area out of this piece of granite-I Love it!!! Marcia

Great selection, quality, price and service. I just needed a little piece cut for a door threshold and they cut it for me right on the spot. They have a ton of leftover granite if you are looking for random granite pieces for projects...

I would not recommend this company. The office staff was very nice but the installers were incompetent and totally botched the job.

The place doesnt look like much from the street. Inside is a different story. Nice showroom but simple. This business cuts a lot of stone right out back in the warehouse so they are hands-on. Good selection of cut ends in the back if you dont want to buy a whole slab by yourself. We got a piece measured and quoted in just a few minutes. Now if I can just get a decision from my wife... 😀❤️

I used this company for several jobs and came to the conclusion that this could possibly be the worst granite shop in Jacksonville. The first job I had to replace a half slab of quartz they fabricated because they chipped the slab at the seam and didn’t fill the chip and left l. The seam looked awful and my client was so unhappy my company decided to replace it no charge. (Cost me $800). The second job was such a debacle with the way they wanted to cut the slab we lost the job and had to return the material that was already delivered to there shop. (Cost me $1500). The third job they didn’t have all the stone when they went out to install and charged me a trip charge to go back out. Why would that warrant a trip charge? Then they charged me for invisible corbels and didn’t even install anything to support an 18” overhang. At the time when my client asked the installers where are the corbels he responded they didn’t need any. For an 18” overhang? Really? Then they were supposed to come out to meet me at the jobsite to install the corbels and never called me or showed up to the job. I drove out to Queens Harbour and waited over an hour for them. Then I told them just to forget it and I would install the corbels myself just drop them off at my shop. The corbels they brought me were the wrong style. Looked like some sort of industrial shelf support. Keep in mind they have already charged me $200 for the corbels and $150 for a trip charge. Finally, I took the corbels they supplied me back to there shop and dropped them back off with the agreement they would bring me a check for $200 for the refund. I just found out they are not going to give me a refund and they want to charge me for coming a picking up a slab of granite for a job I lost because they couldn’t figure out how to cut the job out of 70 square feet of material only using 40 square feet. This place is owned by Martin Appliance/ Greystone Kitchens and they don’t want anyone to know now I see why. They have cost me over $2,650. Maybe someone from this company will step up and rectify this situation but based on the past I highly doubt it. Hey Martin I’ll give you some free business advise. Get rid of the General Manager. You can thank me later.

I was just was told by Laura, the manager of My Granite Guys, that my job was too complicated and to go somewhere else. I just simply asked her if she had the third bathroom on my estimate. I had told her about the third bathroom before, but she didnt put it on my estimate, so I was reminding her. Thats what she got all huffy and said go some where else. Business must be good to turn away a $10,000 job and a customer in St Johns in a neighborhood that probably needs a lot of renovation. Ill be sure not to recommend them when I open my furniture store + design Centre in the new St Johns shopping district. Thanks Laura, you saved me a lot of grief and aggravation. I still cant believe you would be that impatient with a customer just wanting to get three bathrooms and a kitchen done and not overpay on a misquoted quartz from from Ace granite.I hope the owner of My Granite Guys sees what you did. I doubt he wants to turn away my business

My granite guys did all my quartz countertops throughout my house. There was a miss comunication between how a bathroom shower entrance edge was to be finished so they told me they would come back out to make the cut in place if they could or remove the piece and make the cut at the shop. The worker that came out made the call to cut the ledge in place. I wasn’t home during the time he was working so I trusted them to do their work to the best of their ability. After coming home I checked the quality of the work and found that indeed the ledge was cut as we discussed, but found that I now need to replace a piece of tile that was scuffed in the process of making the cut on the quartz.I also wish My Granite Guys would have taken the time to cover any other surfaces not being worked on, but they didn’t. It looks like Tony Montana had a freaking house party in my bathroom. There was dust covering everything, including toothbrushes on the counters and bathing supplies in my shower to name a few.All of this plus the fact that my shower bench seat was never delivered, which still hasn’t been rectified. Thanks for the extra work I’ll have to be doing this weekend on my one day off.

Our experience started out great. Trudy was kind, courteous, and very responsive. We eagerly put down our deposit to get our project completed as soon as possible.Measurements were made, installers came, and thats where things started to go South. Several of our granite pieces were missing/chipped, the measurements were off in more than one place, and the sink they installed had pieces of insulation cracking off of it. We wernt impressed, but spoke with our rep who told us it would be fixed.Rather than having a complete re-install done, we chose to just have the pieces that were damaged/incorrectly cut replaced. They also agreed to comp the sink and the materials to patch the insulation layer. The measurements were re-taken, and the pieces re-cut from another slab. The second install went well. When time for billing came around, we started to have more problems. We received several different invoices with different amounts on them, all of them significantly more than what we talked about/ the agreement we had made. The best part: the attitudes and customer service started to slip as soon as we started asking questions.**My Granite Guys will also tell you they offer military discounts of 5% (in our case this was about $200). HOWEVER, what they wont tell you is that they only offer this on their retail pricing, when they extended the contractor pricing to you. (We were never extended or made aware of any special pricing we received throughout the entire process). We think they lost so much money on our job (because of their errors /having to redo it), so they tried to find a way to squeeze an extra couple hundred dollars out of us instead of honoring their discount. (I hope it was worth it, guys!)To top it all off, we received an incredibly condescending email from their gracious manager, trying to blame us for the delays caused with the install. If youre considering using this company, we wish you all the best, and urge you to get all your estimates IN WRITING, because you never know what theyll tell you has changed once it comes time for your final payment. Best of luck!

Even though we did not end up hiring Rock Solid as the fabricator for our granite job, the prices that we were quoted were competitive and fair, however after reviewing the slab choices we made at local granite suppliers we decided that the type of granite we were looking for just wasnt found in Jacksonville. We will be recommending the company to others looking for a fabricator in the future, their efficiency, professionalism, and friendliness were above & beyond.
