***Great Experience and will do business with again!!!****I began searching for countertop fabricators when we started our partial kitchen remodel by asking around the neighborhood and also looking on Google Reviews. I called a few from friends recommendations, but I chose to call Chris solely from his high reviews, positive comments, and his professional website (and Im glad I did).He showed up on time for the estimate and was very professional from his introduction forward, but also could connect on a personal level and make you feel comfortable about a big decision you are going to make in your kitchen. He was very upfront with his pricing and that it may seem a little higher than what other companies charge, but his explanation checked out (other large fabricators may give a low $/sf but then charge for corners, seams, hole cutting, polishing, etc). He took measurements and sent us on our way to his preferred stone warehouses.We found a few slabs we liked, but most were too small to only use one slab. The one we really liked was literally within an inch of being able to be used with only one slab. Chris had his main fabricator go to the warehouse, measure, and give us the dimensions we would need if we wanted to keep the project on one slab. We went back, found a slab that hadnt been chipped on the edge, and once again Chris and his guys went out to ensure that this slab would work for our project. His communication was great and it never felt like he was pushing us to make a decision.During the install I was actually out of town for work and my wife was the one home. I was so confident in Chris that I told him to go ahead and install and cut the sink holes as if it were his own kitchen. He kept me updated with pictures and phone calls throughout the process. So like most other homeowners looking for granite installers, I did my online research. I ran across the big boys in town, you know the ones often referred to you by the granite warehouses. We even had a couple come to our house for estimates. Both were more interested in telling me what granite I wanted and how I needed to buy from their preferred distributor than in listening to me and my wife. I was very unhappy with both of them and knew there had to be a better company in town. I ran across Jacksonville Countertops on both Yelp and here on Google reviews and EVERYONE had great things to say about Chris and his team. My first meeting with him went great, he was courteous and professional and gave me a price THOUSANDS less than the other installers. One had calculated that we required four slabs of granite and was charging me for 164 sq/ft. When Chris measured it, he came up with 114 sq ft and required only three slabs!! Seriously, is that that much abuse in this industry? Do they think that homeowners cant calculate square footage? Chris didnt leave my house before I agreed to hire him. His reviews were fantastic, his price was the best, and we hit it off like we had known each other for years. When he returned a few days later to take measurements, he had the latest and greatest laser measuring system. Gone are the days of the old wooden templates. I was quite impressed and immediately felt even more comfortable that I had hired the right guy. Installation went smooth, he and his crew did it all in one day with perfect fit and finish everywhere. We couldnt be happier with the service, quality and the end result. We are doing my daughters kitchen soon and without a doubt, we will be using Chris and his team.My advice: Go to Granite Depot on Phillips Hiway and choose your slabs, they have the best selection in town. Then call Chris and let him take it from there. You will not regret it!

We were kinda nervous after watching our next door neighbors go through an absolutle nightmare having their granite countertops installed, so we spent alot of time reading reviews and looking at websites before we made our first call. We had to wait about a month and a half from our estimate to install day and the price was higher than the other estimate we got, but it was all worth it in the end. Pardon the bad pun, but these guys rock! We used them to do granite counterops as part of a huge kitchen remodel. We had drywall guys, cabinet guys, an electrician, painters, a plumber, and a tile installer.Aside from the plumber, they were the only company who showed up on time everytime and took less than 2 or 3 days to get back to us via email. For the initial estimate, Chris even texted an hour before because he thought he may be about 15 minutes late. Who does that these days???We couldnt recomend Jacksonville Countertops more. We were trying to keep our original sink and backsplash and worried about damage while removing the old countertop. Though Chris could not guarantee no damage he said he would try his best. Everything went so well we have beautiful countertops with no damage to our backsplash or sink. I highly recommended this company.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris on new vanity tops on my new house which had to be renovated before my family moved in as well as new kitchen counters in the house we were moving out of and putting on the market. I found Chris to be helpful and honest in what seems to be a very shady business. He was transparent on what his markup on the slabs is and didnt round up on his measurements.When we had a problem with the quality of the quartz we picked out for our new house he notified us, explained and sent pictures of the problem, sent back the quartz to the wholesaler and recommended a new wholesaler to pick out a new slab - all at no additional cost to us. His install was beautiful and when there was minor damage to a wall in a bathroom he tracked me down to let me know that he would fix it, not the other way around.In the house we were selling he recommended a couple of different beautiful pieces of granite that were also cost effective. Due to tile being installed under the range it had about a 3/4 gap between it and the counter top. When Chris installed the counter top he shimmed the new counter for a perfect fit. I believe that the new counter was one of the reason the house went under contract in the first weekend on the market.I recommend Chris and Jacksonville Countertops without reservation.

I rarely write reviews, usually only if the service was so bad I want to warn others but this time the service was so excellent that I had to review Chris with Jacksonville Counters. Not only did he go above and beyond to accommodate our expedited timeframe, he did it on a weekend to boot! He was always super responsive to my messages and texts, helped problem solve a solution for a counter idea I had that didn’t pan out as well as I hoped and did that fix super fast as well. We installed gorgeous diamond quartz counters in our massive kitchen, and added counters in the laundry room and built in desk area.
