Times have changed! When I picked up my 2 pair glasses no one bother to fit the frames to my face or check to see that bifocals were in a line for reading. What I got was heres your glasses have a good day.

Good place. Fast service for single vision lenses. 2 pair for under 40 dollars with plastic lenses thats OK they were for my kid. I like the Columbia frams what I got from there. Progressive with some anti glare came back in less than 2 weeks. Go here get some good stylish glasses and frames.

Sadly I can’t remember the lovely Lady‘s name, I think it started with a J (I’m thinking Jessica?) but I do know is that she is from New York. She was sweet, knowledgeable and didn’t hover as I took FOREVER to narrow down my choices. She broke down our prices and upgrade prices in a way that was easy for us to understand. I was able to get two pairs of glasses that I really liked, and it didn’t hurt my wallet. They were able to make both pairs in less than an hour! Even though I live an hour away, I would definitely return to this particular place when I need to get another pair. I would also like to note that next door is an eye doctor place, where I got my exam, so all I had to door was walk next door to get my prescription glasses. Talk about convenient!

I should have read reviews, and gone elsewhere. First of all, I was helped by a wonderful employee, Stephanie. She had helped my wife, and was able to give me a rundown on my options (insurance coverage/needs). That is the ONLY reason I actually spent money here. The selection is pretty good, as well.EVERY OTHER INTERACTION I have had with this store since has been terrible. Each time I have gone to the store since my initial visit has been frustrating. For the record: at no point have I demanded to speak to the manager and I will not ask for my money back.1. I went to pick up my glasses when they were finished. Kevin B (the manager), spoke to me as if my presence was annoying him: in between snapping What do you need? and Have you gotten a text? he managed to talk down to an elderly woman who had made the mistake of trying to read a sign too close to his desk. Maam, you need to stay over there. The contempt in his voice made my teeth clench.2. When I went to pick up my glasses, Kevin (the manager) tried to put them on my face. Im not sure if anyone else gets annoyed by a stranger trying to shove something in their face, but, not cool. Im a grown man, just hand me my glasses.3. After a week, I went back to the store to ask if there was a way to go back to glass lenses. I paid for the anti-glare coating, which made the glasses I got from this store useless in my car at night. Theres a rainbow/spectrograph effect through the lenses. This rainbow effect goes away when the new glasses come off. To be clear; my windshield, wiper blades and headlights were not changed when I got new glasses, and the only variable that changed was plastic lens glasses with anti-glare. I had no one else to deal with at this store, Kevin was there, once again, annoyed that I had the audacity to come in while he was trying to work. Added bonus; he interrupted me each time I started talking. He even clicked his tongue and smirked when he pointed out what anti-glare coating was supposed to do. It was then that I realized that Kevin seems to think hes the only person in Jacksonville with a brain. After 2 minutes, it became clear that I was getting no help here, and would just have to get another pair of glasses somewhere else.I much prefer to shop in-person for items that I use daily, and local stores used to mean better customer service. Kevins contempt for me and the other customers I saw and heard him interact with have ensured I will make my glasses an online purchase moving forward.

Ive been going here for 4 years now. Always fast, friendly and easy to deal with. Huge variety! Very clear on insurance information and pricing. They tell you exactly what is and isnt covered, plus options that arent covered and their costs. Everything is broken down for you before you pay. No hassle. No hidden charges or fees. Glasses having to be ordered, usually arrive before the 14 day mark.I will say, there is a gentleman there whom I absolutely refuse to deal with. He is extremely impatient and beyond rude. Every year, when I go in, I wonder, How and why is this guy still here? If he is the only one there, I leave and will return at a later time. Which, is an inconvenience, but better than letting him ruin my day.

Save your money, buy on-line. I had a decent experience there when I originally purchased. I went back in to get some new lenses for the frames I have and they want me to pay for a new eye exam! Why? $$$$$ My current prescription is fine, but because I got over a year ago, its no good. Ridiculous.

First sales associate, a man, was not that friendly. Showed us where the ladies frames were and the cost from the lowest price frames to the more expensive. After picking out 2 pair another sales associate handled everything. Just was not overly friendly. Got my glasses and I can see better in the sunglasses than I can the regular glasses. They should be the same.

This guy working her wanted us to move two feet and stand in some arbitrary spot in case somebody came on. Except the spot he pointed to was more in the way.Who gives these petty functionaries power .Absolute stupidity

Cant say enough good about this place! We were vacationing in the area from Boston when our daughters glasses fell apart--she is pretty much blind without them, so this was a big deal to us.I brought them in to Eyemart Express figuring they were a lost cause (I spent 2 hours trying to fix them the night prior). I asked if they could help. They could have said, Sorry but no thanks and I actually wouldnt blame them. How much can you possibly make fixing someone elses glasses, right?But, they graciously accommodated and fixed them!! I begged them to let me pay something for the hassle, but they refused.Maybe Im just a crusty New Englander shocked by southern hospitality, but regardless, hats off!!

The customer service at this place is horrible. I brought in a prescription for bifocals and asked about progressive lens. The sales person could not answer my questions concerning the progressive lens and the general manager had to come out. The general manager was able to answer my questions ONLY after he asked me where I recieved my bad information from. My wife and I both answer from your sales person!! I chose to go with the bifocals over the progressive lens for my own person reasons and was told it would take about 2 weeks for my glasses to be ready. Here we are on week 3 and the rude salesperson tells me the lens are not even at the store yet. The salesperson cuts me off while I was asking a question and doesnt allow me to finish!! The only answer I get is the lens are coming today through FedEx but no other estimate on when my glasses will be ready!! A simple phonecall.or email to let me know there is a delay would have prevented all of this, but nothing. No communication, no customer service!! Aviod this place at all cost and take your hard earned money to another business, because once they have your money, you are at their mercy on product delivery and customer service!! Would give ZERO stars if I could.

Got a as you wait pair of glasses last week & on 6 days later one of the nose pieces FELL OFF! I was out of state & there wasnt a eyemart close by me. So. I HAD to wear them any & HAD to drive 12 hour with MY glasses digging into MY nose! Went today to pick up my other pair that had to be sent out. I explained what happened to my first pair &asked for another pair of frames. NO APOLOGIES NO CHECK TO SEE HOW MY NEW PAIR FIT, NO THANK YOU, NO NOTHING!VERY DISAPPOINTED & WILL NOT GO BACK!I had to drive almost 40miles ONE WAY, JUST TO GET TREATED RUDELY BY KEVIN 😠

Would put zero stars if I could. The guy we spoke to (Kevin I think) a tall older man, was very rude. Told me I couldn’t buy a new pair of glasses without getting a new prescription when my current prescription wasn’t even expired. I had some questions but they were not answered he talked around it.

Everyone was super helpful. There was multiple people in the store when I went in to get my glasses and I never once felt ignored or like I was a bother. Yesterday (Sunday), I lost my prescription sunglasses in the ocean while on vacation. This morning, I called Eyemart and Whitney answered. She was super nice and kind. I told her I lost my prescription glasses and I had bought them at Eyemart but a different city. She looked me up and said they could do another pair. I asked if by any chance they still had the same frame (which I loved but didn’t expect them to have since I had bought it almost a year ago at a different store!). She said yes, I put the re-order in, paid over the phone. By the time I drove there my replacement glasses were ready! So glad to have new glasses to enjoy the rest of our family vacation! PSA: don’t take your sunglasses in the water!!!! 😉 thank you Eyemart! 👍🏼

Worst customer service ever!! I went in today to see about getting my daughters glasses fixed. Kevin, the manager of the store, who was helping me, decided to sing over me talking to him. Secondly, he recommended me take my daughter next door for an eye exam since her prescription expired. I did so, and was able to get my daughter into the place next door same day. The people at the eye exam place since my daughters glasses were damaged asked if I could walk next door to get the prescription since thats where I had bought them from. Kevin refused rudely. Said that the place next door should be able to pull the prescription from the glasses. I said they were unable to. He said well if they want it, they can come get it. so a lady at the eye exam place went over and got it from him. Without my identification, without a signature. Kevin was extremely rude, unprofessional, and arrogant. I cant believe you have an employee, a manager at that, that tends to his customers in such a vicious manner.

My experience at Eyemart Express was great, the staff was very attentive and informative, I’m very pleased with the pricing and the quality, and choices of glasses offered. I do not have vision insurance, but the pricing of 2 pair of glasses with Impact Resistant lenses and AR coating was actually less than what I paid when I had vision insurance. I received my 1st pair within a week, which is great because of the time needed for the AR coating. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Again today I purchased two pair of glasses.My son and I have been buying glasses here for several years. They are our go to for glasses.They have always been professional and courteous. Today I saw how serious they take the Covid-19 virus. They were spot on with their procedures. Whitney and Kevin were completely knowledgeable and a pleasure to interact with.Most strongly recommend them for all your glasses needs.

Yesterday (Saturday November 10, 2019) was my first time visiting Eyemart Express, and I was very pleased with the entire experience! I called and asked if they take walk-ins for eye exams, and the front desk representative told me yes and was very kind. She was all the more pleasant face to face. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene for a Saturday, and my wait to see the Dr. was less than 30 minutes!! I was greeted with a smile by the Dr, he was patient and answered any questions I had, including explaining the electronic picture of the back of my eyes to make sure theyre healthy (never had that done before)! Agreeing to pay 39.00 for the picture of my eyes was well worth it, especially since it beats having my eyes dilated! I purchased a set of glasses and prescription shades, my shades were ready within 2 hours the same day! Ill have to wait to get my glasses within a few days, but I dont mind at all. The customer service alone makes it worth the wait, theyve just gained 2 permanent customers/patients, as my husband will be making a first time appointment as well!! 💕

I would like to apologize to the doctor on Friday Oct 30 2020 I walked in distracted on the phone and walked past sign on door and table I walked over and grabbed a round pair of glasses without even thinking about covid and the policies they hold since Ive been in NC I havent seen a single facility follow any guidelines. I havent been to a doctors office since covid so I didnt think about the rules each facility hold and the procedure each business would have. And you got a little upset with me and you had every right to be. And I would like to say I am sorry for the little attitude I gave you, you have a business and family to protect as well as customers. I been complaining that no one follow the rules and I here I am breaking them myself. I hope you will accept my apologize and forgive me for swearing at you. Thank you

Ladies there were super kind & helpful. Took one star off for the attitude of the gentleman employee. They give a tray to hold all the frames you try on so that they can be sanitized before next customer; understandably due to covid-19. However, as my husband was trying on several pairs, he comes by to ask us to “limit the amount of frames.” This kinda hit me the wrong way, as my husband was literally only picking up frames he thought he would like. Yes, it took trying on around 10 pairs to find some he liked, but who doesn’t keep trying until they find exactly what they want? After all, I’ll be darned if he doesn’t try on as many as needed in order to know he’ll like them; seeing as we spent close to $250 AFTER insurance.

Eyemart Express of Jackdonville, NC is the best. The attendants were very courteous, and provided fast service. My glasses were ready in less than 45 minutes. They have found a customer for a lifetime.

The selection of glasses is large and affordable. Also, I appreciated the cleanliness and how this company is keeping customers safe amidst COVID-19 using social distancing, hand sanitizer and ensuring clients use the trays to limit how many glasses are touched. On the other hand, during the buying process some information was not conveyed about the prescription caused some confusion for my mom. In the future, more clarity on what is being purchased or an explanation of charges is advised.

Absolutely amazing. First of all the Doctor anc staff were amazingly patient with me and my 17 month old, and then I went over to pick out my glasses and not only did I get 2 frames with prescription but I got them without insurance for WAY cheaper than anywhere else I’ve gone!! And both pairs were ready in about a half hour!!! I am definitely going back!!

I had an emergency when my son, who has a severe vision disorder, broke his glasses and we needed a new pair right away. We were greeted immediately upon entering the store and within minutes my son picked out his glasses and from the time I paid, his first pair of glasses were ready in 28 minutes. We had a great experience and I will most definitely be going back to the store.

It was great experience my dog chewed my glasses up and I can’t see at all with out them and I I have a tough prescription that usually takes days I went in and shopped and I have a great salesperson who was very knowledgeable of their products. She was super friendly and I had a great time working with her. I got two pair And one I sent off and the other was ready in 29 minutes.. Came in and picked out my glasses and was seated and paid for my frames and lenses (using my 10% vet discount WITH current promotion) and within 2 hours, on a pretty busy day for them, I received text to pick up. Pick up process was 5 minutes, in and out. Love the frames and the fact that I have a year warranty if they are broken or need adjusting. Staff were courteous and professional and are responsible for the great energy in there. One of the best buying experiences for eyeglasses Ive had in years.

I called to get an ASAP appt. The young lady said that they were booked for a solid 2 week. But I could come in as a walk in and they could fit me in if someone cancelled or didn’t come in for their appt. I was desperate, so I said yes I will come in as a walk in! She said I can’t guarantee the wait time. I told her that was fine, I had all day to wait. When I got there the young women at the desk were so polite and friendly! I filled out my paperwork and within an hour I was brought in and had my eye examined and a RX for glasses in my hand. The Dr was so friendly and professional. I thanked them profusely and headed next door to get my RX filled. They were very friendly and sincerely apologetic that their computer system was down so they couldn’t run my card for coverage through at that time. It was late in the afternoon anyway, so I told them I would come back in the morning. And I did . And 2 hours later I had my glasses!!!! I had trouble picking out a frame and one of the girls graciously helped me after I had tried on 7 pairs with no luck. She found the perfect frame for me!!! I love it. Because I didn’t pick an expensive frame, and my coverage allowed me to select another pair, she helped me again! And I now have a back up pair also! I loved my experience from start to finish!!! Great Work Jacksonville NC!!! And if “he” becomes single again, you’ve got my number! Lol THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

I got my glasses here with 0 hassle. Took me 30 - 45 minutes to get a completely new look on life. I believe the guy who helped me his name was Randy and the rest of the staff was very courteous. I will definitely be recommending.

The employee at this store were friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. They answered all of my questions and were prompt when it was time to put my order together. I ordered two pairs; one that was to be ready the same day and one that was to have coating on it in two weeks. I was told it would take two hours because I had progressive lenses; but they were done in 36 minutes. Great job!

Every single time I have gone to this location Kevin is either rude to me personally or I witness his terrible customer service to other customers. I will no longer do my business with this location because I am sick of being treated terribly when I am the paying customer! He belittles his customers consistently. Today there were 7 people in the store and he made me wait outside saying they were “over capacity”... which that’s not a thing... then 3 people leave so I went back in, now there are 4 other customers, and he made me go back outside again!! (And was beyond rude telling me to do so) There is NO WAY any law mandates they cannot have more than 4 customers at a time... also considering I was in the store an hour before that with more customers and he didn’t make anyone wait outside. His behavior and customer service skills are solely what has led eyemart to lose my business. While I was waiting outside a customer left without making a purchase and shared with me she was upset and leaving because of how Kevin treated her. So in the matter of 20 minutes eyemart lost 2 customers.

I took my son there so we could get him new glasses. They are so fast and efficient. Could not have asked for better service. Kevin helped us out and was very nice with our situation. Thank you again for the great customer service and efficiency!

Im more than happy with the glasses Ive received ♡ With quick service and friendly staff, Id never go elsewhere again. The assistant Whitney, helped me from start to finish! I felt a little overwhelmed at first not knowing what was for me. She was so friendly and patient answering all my questions without making me feel rushed. She took the time to help me decide on which of the 20 frames fit my face the best! Lol! They were pretty busy too, but all of them had great team work and excellent customer service! I visited Eyemart yesterday without an appointment to get my vision checked and new glasses. They said they couldnt make any promises that Id be seen but theyd try to work me in. In less than 30 mins I was given my eye exam and sent to pick out my glasses. My glasses were ready to be picked up in under an HOUR which is unheard of! Great experience.. I highly recommend them!

They stayed late to fill my prescription and I walked out with a new pair of glasses same afternoon/evening. If I am in need of glasses and in the area, I will be back.

The experience from the Jacksonville store was pleasant enough. I came in to get a new pair of glasses. The first person I came across was a Male representative and he was very judgmental towards me. I know my previous pair of glasses were tore up, but that was no reason to give me the look, as if I were a vagabond. After the exceptional experience from the optometrist next door, I had to deal with the same judgmental man. He made fun of my old pair of glasses and made me feel uncomfortable.I am a truck driver and lead a busy life, if it wasnt for my glasses splitting in two, I would still be wearing my old pair. Yes, I had to super glue them together, just so I could complete my job until I got home. That is still no reason to be judgemental. The star rating is only for the optometrist and my glasses. That Male customer service rep sucks. BTW, I paid out of pocket, so please stop judging people.

I was extremely happy with my glasses and the service. I got sunglasses and regular ones. Spent less on both pairs, with my astigmatism my lenses tend to cost a bit more, than I had on just the previous single pair from another place, about $200 less. They were not pushy and very patient with me. I was told about 2 hours, both were done in 28 minutes. Will definitely return.

They always give you a reasonable price and sometimes have free readers with a purchase. Quality of frames are good and price in lenses are reasonable too. I’ve purchased from Optometrists office, Zenni optical and Eyemart. For those needing assistance in picking out frames, trying them on and a good fit, Eyemart is a step up from online shopping. Prices are a little more, but worth it if you need them today! Very pleased.

Worked with Kevin on a deal for two pairs of progressive lens eyewear and he was both knowledgeable and honest when advising me on frames and expectations of progressive lenses. He was patient with me as a senior citizen with a little slower comprehension factor, took my Veteran status into account, and gave me a great price that made me feel great about my decision to buy from Eyemart Express for the second time in 3 years. This has become my go to eyewear company, for the foreseeable future and beyond!

The selection is great in our opinion. My son is 19. He searched online images of glasses and found a pair/style that he liked. We went to find a pair that looked like those glasses. He found them within 10 minutes along with 3 other pair that he also liked. We had anti-reflective lens added to his prescription so we had to wait a couple weeks for the glasses to be ready. They came in quicker than expected and my son loves them. I saw a few pair of glasses that I liked while we were there so I am going back for myself.

Greeted as soon as I entered. Whitney introduced herself and explained process of sanitizing glasses and safety precautions. Found several glasses and we discussed different savings. Very good at picking a style. Was in an out in about 40 minutes with no rush. Got a message that my glasses where ready in 29 minutes. When I picked them up they fitted them and explained care for lenses. I will continue to keep coming back. Had many compliments on my sunglasses and everyday glasses. Thanks again!

Its not often that I give a 5 star rating but everything yesterday was a perfect experience! The sales people were very knowledgeable when assisting me. I lovemy new glasses! Also purchased perscription sun glasses!Ty Jacksonville Eyemart Express!!!!!!!

The entire experience was seamless. They have a pretty good selection of frames, the time to pick out frames and get them completed was very quick and efficient. The staff were very professional and courteous. I would recommend Eyemart in Jacksonville, NC to anyone who wears glasses.

Our experience was amazing here! I deducted a star bc they broke one of the glasses while inserting the lens and they didnt have the same one available. I now moved and Im not able to get the pair they broke! 😭

Got our exam at Risk Opt. beforehand then went to Eyemart Express for the first time. Staff was great and seemed very knowledgeable. Two thumbs up for Doug..he was just awesome and very personable. Both my husband and I got great deals on our glasses plus got them within two hours to boot! Cant beat that with a stick!

Doug at eyemart express was awesome help. Made my experience there much easier. Was extremely helpful and explained everything along the way. I will go back there for all my eyeglass needs. Dr.Kelley at lane optometry next door was awesome also. She made the eye exam much more pleasant than any other Dr Ive ever been to. Very kind and caring.

My daughter lost her glasses and the beach and didnt have a spare. Everywhere we went they said she would have to wait a week. We went to Eyemart Express as a last hope situation, we were welcomed as soon as we walked in. They asked us what we were looking for and they said they could have her in glasses in 2 hours. [Posting as Luke] My glasses have always been done quicker than anticipated and that is impressive considering the fact that my lenses are not easy to make. I went in today because my frame broke. They did not have the frame any longer but said I could pick out another one and they would make me new glasses. It did not cost me a dime and the glasses were done in 24 minutes. Great place to get glasses, affordable, and friendly. Very customer satisfaction driven.

Great place to get glasses. We bought the warranty for my son’s glasses and he broke them. Went in and Kevin gave us hassle free service and replaced his frames and lenses. Great value and great customer service!

Vanessa was wonderful! Despite being busy with 5 other things, she was efficient and understanding with my non compliant 3 year old. We were able to place our order and receive the two sets of glasses in under an hour! I would recommend this place to anyone!

This was the first time I went to this store. Very helpful and good customer service. Also, the service of my glasses was supposed to take an hour. I pulled out of the parking lot and ten minutes later. My phone gets a text saying my glasses are ready. Fast turn around 💕

The associated eye exam office next door runs a scam. If you go for a routine exam they run a cataract exam (all of 1 min) if you have medicare. Then they charge you $65.00 for a copay. Math, 20% of $325 what they charged for 1 minute is $65. And they dont ask. Like getting a bowl of chips before main meal at restaurant then a $22 charge in your bill, oh the chef said you would like it. And where can I provide a review at? Ive already called and complained, they dont care, appears they have no on line reviews. The eyemart name evidently means nothing. If you use eyemart use a different optomotrist. See note below.
