Nice coffee spot. Atmosphere is calming due to their choice of techno/smooth jazz. I had a cappuccino, extra foam. It had a strong flavor with subtle nuttiness. Overall, this place is compatible to other coffee shops. They lacked chocolate in their chocolate chip cookies. I do not feel as though I have to return.

I dont really know why, but I have come here more than once. The service is the slowest I have ever experienced on every single occasion. I have been to coffee shops all over in bigger cities and this place is the SLOWEST! On separate visits I often witness people that order after me that get their drinks before I do! I order a cappuccino. Espresso and steamed milk it doesnt take long to make. I in fact make them when I am home. On top of all that the music always sucks. It matches the pace at which the workers work at. Boring and slowwww The cappuccino itself isnt the best but its the best I can find on a Sunday morning which is when the other coffee shop I like is closed. I have definitely decided I will not be returning. Hope this helps someone

I buy coffee beans here every month. They are incredibly fragrant and have interesting flavors rotating every season. This is one of my favorite coffee spots. I especially love the matcha lattes. The new cold brew cans are also excellent.

8 am and, again, no pastries. Its hard to imagine why Bold Bean would contract with a bakery that wont deliver until 9 am. Plus, at these prices, the customer is still pressured to tip the person just for taking the order? Pay your employees.

I can’t explain in words how much I love this place. I don’t even like coffee but I’m addicted to their iced latte. Everyone is so friendly/ great customer service. The entire atmosphere is so nice and it’s all around the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to.

Friendly staff with really great coffee. Limited seating currently. Quiet and warm feel when you enter. They make sure to keep the tables sanitized and clean at all times.

I think is the original location but most of my experience is at their Jax Beach location. This place was just as good - great quality espresso and a friendly, trained staff. Masks are Mandatory and the follow Covid guidelines! ❤️

This place was recommended to me by a friend and they were so right. I tried a curry latte and it was delicious.

Staff is always personable and atmosphere is great. They have non coffee drinks available and more beer on tap than I would expect from a coffee shop. I enjoy going here.

Bold Bean coffee is always delicious! I especially like this location on Stockton for the kind employees, calm atmosphere, and relaxing interior. I had the lemon scone which is slightly sweet and tangy and my drink was a sparkling americano. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

We could tell we were in the right place when we walked in and saw the long line. We experienced why this is such a popular place. The avocado toast with mixed greens was wonderful and the cappuccino was right on. Plenty of places to sit and visit. We really enjoyed it. We will be back.

This location is great for studying or working at. Lots of seating (including out back), friendly staff, and of course delicious coffee & food. I love the laid back & calm environment. The music gets loud at times, but other than that, no complaints. Bold Bean is well-priced as well!

Great place with amazing coffee. The baristas are very skilled. They are always willing to remake something for you if you need. I think the dual bathrooms are awesome. I love the inclusive vibe.Youre able to sit inside. Tables have been spaced out for covid.Only thing that their missing is coconut milk as an option.

I dont drink coffee, so chai tea lattes are usually my go to. Their spicy chai over ice was delicious. They didnt have coconut milk, so I went with oatmilk and it was still great.

My experience is just from picking up one of their Kenya coffee grounds and I was happy with my first time visiting. The gentleman who provided with service was very polite and nice and even offer a their recommendation beans. Since I was in a mission to try their Kenya beans thats all I went for.The beans are fresh and have roast date and taste delicious. Im already ready to try other types of beans!! I would highly recommend if you grind your own coffee come out and check this place out.

Cute little coffe place, a little bit too hipster, obscure, trendy for me. But plays nice music and has a very pleasant atmosphere. Pretty artwork, forward thinking, kind staff, positive vibes. Parking was a bit of a struggle but other than that the coffe was good. Will definitely be returning.

When I am near Riverside, I always try to pop in for a latte. I also get a bag of Sweet spot for my press at home. I havent tried a lot of the drinks that they have on the menu, but I love, love, LOVE the lattes and the nitro cold brew.

I like bold bean, their coffee is consistent and sweets are also delicious. Its a nice open space, in which many people work. Be it on school, art or computer work, there are always people there. The wifi is good on the weekdays but turned off on the weekends.

The quiche was excellent as was the donut...but the coffee is really out of this world! The staff really know their craft.

Bold Bean Riverside is the Spazhouse, Intuitive Research field office. Specifically enjoy the One Off Wednesday offerings. Bold Bean has great coffee and community.

Only been once but cute little place and the coffee I ordered was great!

Really nice cup of coffee. I went in and staff was dressed in PPE and had glass partition in place. The tables were seperated as to be socially distant. I was just grabbing a cup of coffee and not lingering, but I appreciate that they set it up to be compliant. I got a black iced coffee and a mocha. Both were very good and well made. The staff was friendly and kind.

Bold Bean has become a Jacksonville institution. I travel a bit and have not come across a better coffee shop experience!

When it comes to serving coffee and pastries, this coffee shop is really on top. When it comes to their coffee, they definitely have the best taste, and I have to say that these guys really are the best. As a first time visitor.. place has a great atmosphere. Service was friendly and prompt as well as willing to help me decide the kind of coffee I wanted. Ordered a quad espresso and yumm..rich creamy flavor with just the right amount of bitterness.. will be back for sure!

Today was our first experience here & we loved it! Their pastries were melt in your mouth delicious. Their vanilla honey latte was so good were getting another one to go! Love the atmosphere and a great sense of community.

Definitely Jacksonvilles premier independent coffee chain. Although it does go along with the indy coffeehouse stereotype (a little crunchy, super friendly staff who take a lot of time with each customer, causing a really long line...), they do cater to a higher-class clientele, with a respectable craft beer selection and coffee thats a tad more expensive than Starbucks. The taste of the coffee, however, far eclipses the acidic sludge that is Starbs -- so much so that you dont mind paying a little extra for a hand-crafted honey lavender latte (which will elevate your taste buds to a new level when it comes to drinking coffee). This location is a little on the smaller side, so its advisable to go during non-peak hours, especially during the pandemic. In short, if you want a fancy cup of coffee in Jacksonville and dont care for the Bucks, Bold Bean is your jam.

Bold bean, I love your coffee! But I usually get the ChemEx and you don’t carry 16oz cups so you pour it into 2 cups. I hate carrying around 2 cups...I only have 2 hands so you can see the predicament I am in. Please get some 16oz cups for us ChemEx drinkers. Thanks!

Was really impressed. I was passing through on the way back to Miami and they were open late and had vegan options. Got an oatmilk latte and vegan truffles. The coffee tasted great. Im sad I dont live in Jax and cant come back for a while! I love the feel of independent coffee shops, this place had chill vibes. Really hard to find in Miami. Till next time!

Very good and very consistent

The nitro cold brew was tasty but the espresso shots were under extracted, rendering a sour feel. I would give it another try hoping that maybe they just weren’t dialed in that day. Super friendly staff though.

Its just what you hope for when you go out for coffee. I had a latte and a double shot of espresso. It came with a side of sparkling water. A nice touch.

Yummy drinks - I suggest venturing into the tea and alcohol territories too, the Rosella tea is non-caffeinated and delicious. Staff always has good suggestions and is friendly. Pleasant atmosphere. I bring anyone visiting me in Jax here. Love it!

This place is absolutely one of my favorites. The service was very welcoming and observant. It has a nice feel to it.

I ordered a vanilla latte and it was delicious. A bit pricy for 12oz but well made and with cute latte art (which I havent been able to master myself so I know it takes a some level of skill and she did it quick and seamlessly) and the place had a comfortable atmosphere about it.

Bold Bean was one of my first stops getting to Jax and it was a good start. Got a drip coffee and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was super creamy with some boldness from the espresso. The drip coffee was okay for drip. Maybe wasnt super fresh, but had some good qualities. Id recommend getting one of the made-to-order drinks like a pour-over or French press. Beans are freshly roasted on site which makes grabbing a bag of whole beans super easy.I also noticed that they have some well-priced equipment like Moka pots and aeropresses for sale which is cool too.

I recently went through their private barista training and loved it. Jamie and Erin were great. Their passion and knowledge for all things coffee along with the rest of the surrounding crew working behind the scenes there made it quite an experience. Coffee is great. They always have some treats in the case next to the register. You can get a small selection of beer here if youre not in the mood for coffee. My only compliant which isnt a bad thing for them is that sometimes its hard to find a place to sit

Service was friendly, I had no trouble getting a table and the wait time was reasonable, but most of the bakery items were gone, and I didnt care for the coffee. Plus, no dark roast? :( seems popular enough with the younger crowd, I think Im just too old for this place. On the other hand, the acorn squash tart was surprisingly good. :)

The coffee is pretty good and the service is good but the mugs are horrible. Literally had to wrap it in napkins and carry it like three feet away from me so i wouldnt pour hot coffee all over myself

Good coffee, very hip vibe. I was blown away by the grilled cheese sandwich. Great cheese, Caramelized onions, and grilling rosemary into the bread was very smart and different. WiFi is good, but you might struggle to find an outlet available if it is busy.

Love the vibe of this spot. Music is always on point and the staff here can do no wrong in eyes. They are friendly, patient and super knowledgeable. Young people, families with kids and mature adults all chill out here enjoying time together. Great coffeee variety as well
