The young man in the chainsaw department with the good, friendly attitude was very helpful and knowledgeable! I wish I had caught his name but the best I can do is say he was working at 3:45 Monday, Oct 25th. Kudos young man!

I mow yards across the state of Illinois and have been searching for an air filter for my Sthil weedeater for the last 100 miles. No one but Midlands had it. Their Sthil lineup is amazing and their staff is just as great!

We shop there this evening. There had a good assortment of things from hardware, to farming stuff to tools of all sorts to mens and women boots, clothes, jackets, gloves etc. There also carried dogs and cats food, beds kennels, supplies, birdseed, cows, chicken, pigs, food and etc. Fishing, hunting, camping supplies. Guns, ammo, targets etc. So much stuff to look for and to shop for. The staff was friendly and helpful. So over all was good experience. Highly recommend to everyone to check it out

We bought a mower from the Jacksonville store last year and had some minor issues with it from the beginning but in less than a year had a major issue that we couldnt fix ourselves. Its still under warranty so we brought it in to be fixed and weve been very unsatisfied with the service while weve been waiting on it to be repaired.We understand a lot of things are slow in the industry but it took them over a week to even look at it and order the part, which still hasnt been in and its been over 3 weeks. We havent received any updates from the service department so weve called and stopped in periodically and anytime we talk to the service technician hes been very rude and short with us. Today when I called he informed me its not even the original problem he thought it was so now he has to order another part and he isnt sure how long itll take to receive it. He said hes only one guy and cant control how long it takes, which I completely understand. However, I told him itd be nice to get some updates instead of leaving us hanging and then being rude when we call for updates. He then proceeded to tell me we can take it elsewhere to get fixed.Weve always been pretty faithful customers to Farm & Home but definitely wont be future customers to this location and would encourage anyone else to think twice about buying equipment from here.

It sucks because I love farm and home but I would never buy a mower from there again there service shop is incompetent. Bought a brand new ferris last year and had to tighten nearly every bolt that they would have installed for the final assembly then at 40 hours pto clutch went out and it took them over a week to order the part now its going on week 3 and they claim they still dont have the part and the mower is still outside the way I dropped it off 3 weeks ago they havent even removed the part yet. I called ferris and the part is in stock so Id be surprised if they even ordered the part.I WOULDNT EVEN LET THEM WORK ON MY SONS TONKA TRUCK

I wanted something that had to be gotten out of the back of the store. They were quick and didnt hesitate to take it to our truck and load it. One of the workers was jamming out to the store music. Priceless!

Placed online order for curbside pickup; only there was no signage or a phone number to call like the website said there was. I had to go in to get my order, then the clerk was surprised when I asked him to put it my car. I told him I didnt see the curbside pickup sign, his reply we used to have one a long time ago

Always awesome prices normally and their sales are even better !! They seem to always run additional percentages off their clearance prices making them even more of a sale! They are also a very neat and organized business! The staff is very polite,helpful, and quite knowledgeable about their products. I went here looking for a riding mower belt and wheels . I walked around look for them an after about 20 minutes I found a couple workers an ask for help, they sent me several isles over in the wrong direction . So I ask some other worker, an they had no clue where to go so they got on the intercom and ask for some one else . That person said they dont carry what I needed . So on my way out I talked to another worker an ask if they had any idea where I could go in town to get what I needed an they told me we have those here so they took me to where they were . After some searching through products turns out they had the wheels but were sold out of my size belts . I will never go to this store again . 1 worker out of 5 knew anything in the store .

We can always find an employee to help us. The majority of the staff are very knowledgeable about the areas they work, and then some. Quiet place for shopping. Just about anything you need..and not always too busy.

I have enjoyed this store for years. People are helpful here and the store offers quite a lot. You can get a hunting and fishing license here and get your gear and clothing. They have a bird food and house section with unbeatable prices on their big bags of sunflower seed and mixed wild bird seed or you can buy it by the pound. There is a pet food section and a human food section with snacks, coffee, soda, sugar, canning and venison preparation supplies along with instructional books and magazines. They carry Carhartt for the family and work boots. There are plants and flowers in spring and tools to work in the garden and maintenance supplies for your power tools. There is a section of rope, wire and nuts and bolts as well as garden decorations and at Christmastime they have a big toy section for kids.

LOVE this store! We get all of our animal feed and necessities there. And we always seem to find great deals!

They charge an awful lot for a place that cannot even help you locate an item you are looking for. Hunted down and asked a guy for help, he radios a lady, she doesnt respond, another guy says she is too busy to help. Finally a teenage boy opening boxes sees me standing there looking stupid and comes to my rescue. They did not end up having what I was looking for so I wasted an hour standing there for nothing.
