Extremely rude female assistant, disrespectful and condescending! I just had the worst customer service experience at Smokey Mountain smoke shop. I came in around 1 pm today bought a small torch that was defective as soon as I got home and brought it back less than 2 hours later and the attendant woman (with glasses) working today was extremely rude and condescending to me. I wanted to simply return that one and spend more to buy a better product and she told me I couldnt, then picked up a new one and asked me Is this one working while laughing and being condescending. I called her on it, she kept making it even more condescending remarks laughing while turning her back. Then I said I wanted to spend more to get a better one for safety reasons and she started laughing (as if Im supposed to know there is no refund) while the other attendant who was really nice was trying to be helpful explaining there are no refunds at this store but it was too late. Im now stuck with the same product (new one in a different color) that I no longer want. Also the defective one was probably put back on the shelf so make sure yours is working before buying it. Even if there are no refunds in general this is a product I had just purchased hours before still in the brown bag with the receipt and bar code and I should have the right to a refund and to spend more on a different one if they sold me a defective product. As I took the new one and walked away the same attendant was very loudly talking to me thank you for coming in and Im glad I could help you while still laughing at me in front of other customers trying to make me look bad. I walked out with a product I do not want and obviously upset about how I was treated. I have been a customer there for years and I will not be coming back. This type off employee will turn customers away. Disrespectful and not trained to talk to customers.

Sold me a bottle of sad boy vape juice, when I got home and tried to fill my vape, the squirt part of the lid came right off. Half of the $20 bottle spilled all over me. When I went back to the store to switch it out for a new one, I told the group of employees what happened. There was a lot of glances and comments amongst themselves while I was left standing there wondering what was happening. I finally asked if I was waiting for something and was told someone went to the back, to ask what to do I assume. When they returned they offered me %20 off a new bottle... I just spent $40 in that store and now they want me to give them another $18 to replace a defective bottle? I told them this was not the resolution I need and they just stared at me then told me to have a good day.

Im always pleased by the service here.Enormous array of products with a knowledgeable staff. Win-Win!

Hands down the best smoke shop in the area.. NO ONE beats their prices or quality. The employees are so freaking nice I spend like 20 minutes in there every time just having good conversation; and the best part.. they let you try ANYTHING that could be defective in the shop to ensure it’s perfect. I got a mr fog max, it even worked, and they STILL let me exchange it for a new one with no hesitation because I told them it tasted a little weird AND she even opens it for me so I don’t have to go through that struggle. If that’s not great customer service idk what is.

I would advise to go to any smoke shop in the local area but here because the rude sales clerks and counterfeit products. On more than one occasion I have patronized this place and received poor quality puff bars and other vape products. Their main objective is to get you in and out. I purchased a Lush Ice puff bar it was counterfeit and they said they could nothing about it coldly. Mainly they need better customer resolution tactics because they could care less about anyone spending their money there locally.

This place is awesome! So many unique items and a plethora of bubblers and pipes. You could spend a lot of time in this store and not even realize it. Extremely knowledgeable staff too. They literally wouldnt sell me anything because i described what i was looking for. No warnings.. Im supposed to browse and see the inconspicuous signs even if i know the exact area i need to go.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! went in and bought a puffbar I hit it in the car and realized it had a weird taste compared it to my old one and the color was a little off. I looked up the code on the puffbar website and realized it was counterfeit. Called and they told me they couldn’t do anything about it & that I should have checked the code inside. also told me they have never had anyone that said they got a counterfeit from them but from the reviews I see thats not true. LITERALLY GO TO ANY OTHER SMOKE SHOP BUT HERE!!

This is my absolute favorite store in Jacksonville, FL. Each and every single employee working in that store are top-notch customer service titans. I am a repeat customer there and at least 80% of the time, as soon as I enter I verbalize loudly Im home! or finally I have returned to my home I have never been to any store of any type that has had staff so solidly proficient in their product. I cannot recommend Smokey Mountain enough. As soon as you enter, you can just feel an air of peace. Highly recommend A++++++++++

I came in last night to get some shisha for my hookah and saw the most beautiful water bowl, but had no clue how to use it. Not only did Nina tell me how to use it and what it does, but she also told me about the health benefits of the water bowl vs traditional ceramic or silicone. The staff here is awesome and extremely knowledgeable. This is definitely my go to smoke shop!

This place is your amazing local smoke shop. Ive been there about 12 times or so in the past year. The cute Russian guy thats always there is friendly but not pushy. He helps as needed and knows his stuff. Their prices are great compared to certain smoke cities so I always come here first when I need something or when Im just shopping. To the person who asked about crack pipes... of course you were asked to leave, all products sold by any shop of this sort is for tobacco use only... Basically pipeshop 101. This shop has a great selection and a great range of cheap to nice equipment. He is still expanding and constantly adding new product, he is always ready to help and will answer any questions you have. I have spent $2000+ in the shop by now and its usually my one and only stop. What I like most about is that they always have the newest products nearly as soon as they come out. Their glass selection is huge and features some of the most sought after glass in the industry. I came in here and got what I wanted with help from they guy who works their and paid within a few dollars or cheaper than the online price where the others stores I went into doubled everything. I called about a puff bar that i have that usually last me three days and it ran out in less than a few hours i explained that i was at work and really hadn’t hit it much and once i got home i was hitting it a few times and it started not really hitting unless i hit it really hard and the same thing happened to another one i had and it started tasting burnt and the girl said that i could be lying and bring in a old one. i come in about every three days to maybe a week to get a puff bar and the girl on the phone was very rude saying she didn’t know what to tell me she couldn’t help me.

This wasn’t my first stop. My friend and I went to several smoke shops around Jacksonville and had a mediocre experience. The service here is exceptional and we didn’t feel like we were being forced to make a purchase. We both ended up buying two separate water pipes with new bowls. The service is outstanding and we will be coming back in the future. Please stop by and come share the same great experience we had.

This is the best shop to go to in all of Jacksonville. The guy who works there greeted me and helped me out with everything that I was looking for and had superior knowledge on everything. After letting him know what I wanted he showed me a few items that were exactly what I needed and a fraction of the cost of all the other stores. I buy my e-liquid and my coils and such here. The guy that runs the place is always fair, hes ordered stuff for me and he let me test things I wanted to try.Most other shops you have a hard time getting someone to be helpful or find someone with product knowledge.Never had a single issue here and thats why I go there every week for all my stuff.

Some cashiers way better than others but my biggest thing is that a lot of the stuff I buy seems defective? Ive bought juul pods and had them leak and two different universal vape pens randomly quit working within a week. I used to like this shop but I can find better quality elsewhere.

Just moved here. Walked in to buy vape juice which this would probably be my everyday place to purchase but I asked a question about a product that the guy was trying to sell me and.... He kicked me out!?!? (I do not do drugs nor have I ever). There’s sketchy people in there. It’s like your clearly a head shop selling bongs and pipes and stuff with pot leaves on it that looks exactly like pot but if I ask a legitimate question (seriously a legitimate question) you kick me out with pleasure. This is America. No sir I’m not interested in that it kind of exactly looks like medical marijuana “get out!” That’s insane. It seems like they must be under investigation or something. All I want is vape products. It’s like if you have naked girls walking around and I walk in for a drink and I ask “is this a strip club or something?” “Get out!” “How dare you these aren’t actually strippers they are “stripper like”.

Love you guys, but if Im sitting outside your locked front door, 15 minutes after your opening time, youve lost a customer. Ive seen 3 customers leave. Im now the 4th.good bye business .good bye money

Dont shop here if youre an avid hookah smoker. The owner was apparently too lazy to continue selling higher numbers of full-size coconut coals in a single box due to distributor supply issues. They unfortunately now only sell half-sizes in 90 pieces and full-sizes in 72 pieces once they stopped carrying this particular stock containing full-size 120 pieces resulting in $5 profits over long run. Once again, please take your business elsewhere.

The guy who works and owns the place is very down to earth. He is professional and has pretty good inventory on both quality waterpipes and hookah stuff with variety. Its not ridiculously overpriced like all the smoke shops on Beach.

Attempted to purchase a $350 glass piece. One employee said I could get 10% discount on it if I did some type of rewards program, but at the counter when being checked out by the manager he refused this and would only give me 5% due to the high price of the item. This was not the issue and did not stop me from trying to purchase the item. After the manager reluctantly swapped the type of dome for the glass piece, I tried to finalize the purchase but was informed that they do not accept credit for totals over $150. Needless to say, I walked away empty handed in a similar fashion to the Smokey Mountain smoke shop, as I intend to find another piece of glass from a different store and spend my money there. I had cash to spend, but it felt like the manager was really trying his hardest not to sell the item. Ive heard of a credit minimum at stores, but never a maximum...

I absolutely LOVE this smoke shop!! Every time I’ve been in there, the staff has been incredibly helpful and and swears any questions I have had.My most recent purchase was a new Vape to help me quit smoking cigarettes. I got the Smok Stick Prince Baby and a week after I bought it, I accidentally shattered the glass tank housing. Went in looking for a plastic one to replace it and ended up walking out with a great replacement. A couple of days after I got that, I noticed that the tank would leak out all my juice pretty quickly. I contacted the store and explained my issue, they thought it was a defective coil, which happens, no biggie. They replaced the coil and I went about my day. Well, that didn’t fix the issue completely. It didn’t leak as quickly, but it still leaked out my juice overnight, so I reached back out to the store. George chatted with me through Facebook and ended up replacing the whole tank piece with a brand new one to make sure that the product I purchased worked and I was happy. It’s been since the end of November and so far, the new tank has been great and I haven’t experienced any of the leaking issues at all!!Whenever I have friends looking for a good smoke shop to go to, I tell them to hit up the staff at Smokey Mountain and they all love it too. Thank you for taking care of your customers and making sure that at the end of the day, we’re happy. I’ll definitely be coming back to them for anything that I need!!

Came here on 7/10, money ready to buy a new piece to replace my old one that broke.I asked if there was a sale on water pipes for 710 and the guy looked at me like I was crazy and told me he has no idea what Im talking about with an attitude. I proceeded to ask him again, if he has a sale for 7/10, as it is like the 4/20 for concentrates.He then proceeded to start getting aggressive in his tone with me and told me he still has no idea what im talking about and that his shop only has tobacco concentrates. As was walking away, he continued trying to talk over me as I was trying to say theres no reason to get aggressive with me, and he wouldnt let it go until he got the last word.BOTTOM LINE IS: Stay away from this classless establishment, if youre a real 420/710 lifer and expect good vibes from the people that work at a headshop. They definitely will never be getting my business again, unless Im desperate. Their pieces are all overpriced and the selection is disappointing to say the least anyways, Ive checked. See my other disappointing story about this shop below.Other Bad Experience: The one other time I came here, also ready to buy a piece to replace the broken one, I found out that the store does not even let you water test the water pipes, to see how the air flow is. (You really expect someone educated on glass to go spend 400+ on a rig when you wont even let them try it?) This is also when I perused all of their water pipes for concentrates, finding that they were all overpriced or cheaply made glass for the most part.- An extremely disappointed customer

I came into store two weeks ago and worked with Jordan who sold a bottle of vape juice, two atomizers and a battery and was told to come back with any issues. When returning had a bit of an issue; however, George the owner promptly replied to the issue and immediately rectified my problem. I posted an unfavorable review and within an hour he replied and assured me he would make things right. I came back into the store the following day and George was incredibly helpful, explained why the original atomizers would not work, walked me through using a replacement and much nice atomizer and explained much more about using the vape I had than anyone has ever done.I assured George I would update my review based on my customer service interaction with him and here it is.I would now return to this shop and recommend if you have any issues talk to the owner. He did what he said he would do and that is not typical with business folks now days. I respect his follow through and the facthe took time to make sure his customers were happy Thank you.

WARNING!! Is this place or has this place been under investigation? If you don’t want to have to find out and don’t want to get stopped by the police, I suggest you not visit this store.We visited this store to purchase AL Capone Cigarillos and the odor eliminating spray 1/5/19 at around 6:00 p.m. The messages on the door should have been a red flag for us. The second red flag should have been the extremely rude Caucasian female behind the counter who appears to have a great need for mental assistance.We entered the store having a private conversation but no matter where we went in the store, the rude female behind the counter interjected into our conversation. When I asked about the odor removal spray, my companion stated “You act like you smoke weed…[always buying those sprays]”. The referenced female instantly appeared to require high doses of mental medication and asked us to leave the store. As puzzled as we were by this, we left without a scene.  As we were leaving she said “Until it is no longer my Constitutional right to ask you to leave, you have to leave because we do not allow you to talk about anything illegal in here.”Shortly after we left the parking lot, we were pulled by the police, which leads me to believe that either she called the police or this store is a place of interest for investigation.  If she called the police, I believe that she really needs an extremely high dose of psychotic medication. If she isnt the owner, she is losing the owner money and can possibly cause a business loss.

Ive been to all the vape shops just about in Jacksonville and this one has the best atomizers. Most of the atomizers I buy from other vape shops fail within the first 4 to 7 days and the one I buy last me almost 15 days.
