A cigar lounge with good vibes. A bit understaffed and only a handful of seats, but a great environment nonetheless. The staff was very polite and the live music acoustic sounds out of this world. A city jewel!

My wife and I found this location about 2014 with a prior owner. We still attend the lounge and we live way on another side of town. The staff has been the main reason that we go. There is live music and they are surrounded by the best eating spots.Do not hesitate to visit Island Girl Cigar

This place is awesome and there’s several of them around town I am recently out of a 30 year relationship, this was my 57th birthday celebration (I’m the woman in the middle)I chose this cigar bar for my party after I stumbled upon it on Thanksgiving weekend, as we were staying at the Doubletree thats directly across the Saint Johns river from it looking for live entertainment. called around on Friday after Thanksgiving we were looking for some live entertainment and somewhere to hang out so I google mapped Live entertainment/cigar bar. And the sweet lovely lady who answered the phone said “yes we have a blues guitar player tonight”. So I came over and listen to Dami do magic on that guitar, he is a prodigy. Somebody should snatch him up and back him, and brand him $$$$$ . I just wanted to show my appreciation for This brand( Island girl cigar bar ) it’s just what we needed and they are conveniently located all over Jacksonville and surrounding suburbs . Good selection of cigars, cozy place.The only complaint is alcohol selection is very minimal. They do have many beers to choose from.

Nice little hole in the wall, more about beer and wine than spirits. Not to thrilled about the majority of cigars being in a locked room but guess they need to protect their investment.

Didn’t catch the bartenders name, but she was super helpful in assisting picking out a cigar (hadn’t had a cigar in almost half a decade). She also seemed to have great rapport with her regular customers. Super chill, urban vibe. The lounge chairs are super wide, and lush. Prices are also extremely reasonable with a wide selection. Will definitely return, and I’ll be sure to add pix next time.Also very compliant with COVID measures.

Love it here. This is one of my favorite cigar shops across Jacksonville. As well as all the island girl locations. There selections of premium cigars is very well though out for the customers to bring a wide variety and selection from the various choices of cigars the world has to offer. The atmosphere is welcoming with a respectable etiquette. There are great beer and wine choice but no liquor yet hopefully they will get that all worked out. Definitely a classic stop if your in downtown for a beautiful smoke and great atmosphere.

Absolutely friendly barmaidian (Tracy), large cigar selection. All well kept, having smoked deep dish that was the perfectly paired with their sweet red.

This place has turned around since becoming an IG location. Theyve put a lot of money into improving the aesthetic and environment, and the upstairs lounge plans are promising.A very nice place to relax, whether you are partial to cigars or just want somewhere to enjoy a drink.Master Ashley is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about cigars (how else do you become a Master?).

It was a cigar lounge next door. The name changed. And its owned by new owners. Ive Googled about it before and left a good review for it I just cant think of the name of it now. but the inside of that place is phenomenal. It is owned by new owner now the decor is real nice. those two cigars that I took a picture of, theyre in the Cigar Lounge. they have humidors for sale nice tasting cigars that my better half likes. And we go there once a month. The lounge is renovating the upstairs for Members Only. I dont know if they are selling food??? Its a bar and grill?????? Cant remember. go check this place out once again people. The atmosphere is just nice. kudos to both places that we visit last nightI found it. this is the place that I was talking about. I think it used to be Bay Street Bar and Grill I cant remember????? I may have my information a little bit twisted. But this is the place that I Googled about probably 6 months ago or a year ago. But this is the place to be. when you want to hang out with your loved one or your significant, other or you just want to go for good drink. a good cigar and just sit down and chill and relax. I like the great things that youve done with this place. and most indeed we will be back

Very nice cigar longe with full bar. Big comfy chairs, well stocked humidor, friendly helpful staff. TVs are well located to keep track of sports or your favorite shows. Well located downtown, not hard to find, street parking. Very nice!

Great up and coming cigar bar with one of the most intricately designed humidors I have seen. The bar is very quiet leaving the bartenders just standing by to serve. Im excited to see what happens when the owners finish the upstairs and add some class to downtown.

Downtown closed early (probably because of low patronage) ... arrived 15 min before closing time to find doors locked, lights on. Called and saw a gentleman through the window smoking a cigar as he talked to me on the phone.I was attempting to buy gifts for a client. He cost Island Girl over $500 in revenue by closing early
