First of all, I was created by someone who was well informed and explained all my options and prices for what I wanted. The shop was clean. Most of all, I was not pushed to get a stereo or anything Else I did not want. Although the store front appears to be somewhat small, the install area is huge and even has several back bays behind the building to accommodate multiple Vehichle’s at the same time.They offered several install times that were flexible to my schedule. I was so impressed with the quality of work that I brought in my other Vehichle for a new stereo and even got the one that was not tinted a first ever tint job.All around great experience and I highly recommend them.

Before going here, I tried applying tint myself a few times. I got a bit ocd with it and got frustrated every time. I just had them tint my widows and they did an amazing job!

Place is a joke. They quote you one price and tell you what it’s gonna be per hour and how many hours of labor then they add to it. They tell you they’re going to use connectors on the wires and don’t then say oh we don’t use connectors we solder the wires together which that was not done either. When you contact them about it and tell them that the mere is static coming through the speakers they told me system the receiver is bad. I went through the system, everything works fine with the old system had to redo all the wire connections. Screws backed out of the speakers and I had to redo them. Can’t get them to return a phone call at all, place is a ripoff.

1.  They installed the wrong speakers for the system.  They used cheap 4 ohm speakers in a 2 ohm system.  They also agreed to use Sony speakers if they had to be replaced but instead opted for a cheaper type.2.  The speakers were not needed to fix the system, as the issue was only the amp. This was confirmed by Auto Radio Service.  I had advised them of this hen I brought the car in, and nothing more was ever needed by my assessment.3.  They asked me to take my stereo to Auto Radio Service, claiming that the stereo had an issue.  After paying for the service at Auto Radio they determined that Audio Design was wrong and the stereo worked fine, the speakers worked fine, and the amp was the issue (as I stated when I brought it in.)4.  They hit something with the car hard and never said anything (see photo.)5.  They lost parts and claimed that they would find them later in my seat.6.  They broke the mounting bracket for the window button, and tried to glue it back with super glue poorly, when an epoxy would have worked and I would not have been upset (see photo.)7.  They broke the window button mounting clip.  I had to replace thins since they also lost they part they broke.8.  They disconnected the seat heater somehow (still not sure how.)9.  They blew a fuse that made the dash lights not come on and the stereo had a whine sound.  I had to take my car back to Auto Radio Service to fix in another trip (3 in total) paying $110 + tax each time.)10.  They never did replace all of the speakers because they needed to order one more and I would not let them do anything further to my car.  They were only missing one of the rear speakers; but these should have been subs and they merely put regular speakers in there.of the car by using the incorrect tools to access door panels.11.  They damaged the leather.

Went to 7 different audio stores before I decided on this one. I chose them for there knowledge and experience in car audio, they were attentive and did not dismiss any of my questions, actually had appointments unlike some competitors, price point was along industry standard, installation was super clean and it sounds absolutely awesome! I had an Amp, gain control and sub installed in my wifes cadillac. I will be going back for all my audio needs as well as getting the windows tinted on my car.

Love these guys! They tinted my last 3 vehicles flawlessly. Windshield tint price was almost half of what is was where I was from. They also did some graphics and audio in the last 2. Great work with really great people.

This is the best place in Jacksonville for anything to customize your vehicle. The customer service is above and beyond. Ive taken several vehicles to them and everytime Ive had the best experience. They get you in and out. The work they do is top notch. You want regret taken anything to them to customize to your liking.

One of the best shop experiences Ive had. I came in to get some Halos installed in my headlights and my fog lights. Before I came in i didnt even have fog lights. They did an amazing job. Everything was done professionally and clean. All the wires are hidden so theyre not all over the place. Took the time to show me how to use my Halos and explained everything. Definitely recommend this shop to everyone looking to get anything done.

Tried calling to see if they could perform a task. Couldnt even get anyone on the phone an hour after theyve opened. Impersonal automated answering machine...smh! Their cost is not worth their work. I paid $1200 and had to bring it back because my usb was not working at all, the speaker was rattling due to bad wiring, and the screen on my radio was scratched. Its almost like they didnt even test anything when they were done. My radio isnt even flush with the dash. I would not recommend them to anybody. Better off going to Daddy Os right next door.

I am very disappointed with Audio Designs. I have set three different early morning appointments at this facility to have electronics installed into my pickup truck. Every morning that they gave me an appointment they were backlogged and could not take my vehicle this last and third appointment they accepted and had room for my truck to be worked on a job that was supposed to only take an hour to 90 minutes I left it there had breakfast came back and my truck had not been touched and I was gone for an hour and 20 minutes. I was told that there were only one technician and he could not work on it till maybe later in the day after three appointments I thought I would be on top of the list to get my work done on my vehicle. If youre looking for good audio video equipment to be installed I would not trust these people.

I gotta tell you they really care about their customers and every way you cant go wrong because they do the best job in town not to mention hell take care of you quickly stand by their work and you cant beat them!! Its nice to have an experience like that doing business with somebody in todays Times!!

The guys at the shop did a great job I love my car the way it looks keeps it cooler now having the front window done also. Cant wait to go back to get some stereo equipment put in also highly recommend them

Perfect audio! I wasted $2,600 at another long-standing local shop and was left with highs that were too high, white noise, bass was burning up the subs, and no mids. I listen to almost every kind of music and these guys took the time to understand what I was looking for. They immediately saw the issues with the existing system and had a solution. I picked it up today and I am blown away at how good it sounds. They even said that there is a next level 😲. Moral of the story: you can waste money on car audio installers, or you can skip the headache and go to Audio Designs and get perfection.

I have used them twice - once for my car and once for my fathers car. They are great. Efficient, professional, and do a top notch job.

Chris was extremely nice and he’s honest about the products he sells. I’d recommend to anyone any day. He’s also on top of letting me know what’s going on with my vehicle and keeps me updated every so often. If I need any questions answered I ask him and he responds within a day or two depending if he’s busy. While I was browsing, Audio designs also has a great selection of products in stock and they explained everything well from audio to tint to security alarms. Audio designs also have a loaner car (if available) which was extremely convenient for me since I live 20-30 min away and work 15 min away.

Business with this company is great until you have an issue or they get your money! I have been calling, leaving voicemails, and emails since I had my sound system installed for almost a month now .... still no response!! Had to go to another company to get the problem diagnosed, but still haven’t heard from these guys. They were going to wiring up my hand controls on my Ultra Classic Harley-Davidson cuz I put a the new Kenwood with XM but I want up taking it to Daddy Os instead next door because theyre worthless they cant do the job when they scheduled the opponent 2 weeks out and take the time off work to be asked to reschedule for another 2 weeks ill never use them

I would give them a zero if it was an option, I’ve done business with them in the past but this time around customer service was lacking extremely. Unclear why I have to explain why I purchased anything to a sales person or receptionist or whatever he claimed he was. This person lacked All types of tact and me being a business owner would never talk with the sarcasm this guy talked with. Trash company they act like they don’t need my business but wonder why mom and pop shops die out. LEARN FROM WALMART OR BEST BUY and maybe your business will be more than a storage unit.

This was the fourth car I brought to them. The tint job is unbelievable but more importantly the sound of the new system is amazing. If you want great customer service from Chris and excellent know how from Darren then do not go to another shop. I looked around and these guys can’t be beat from the price to the service.

Very very pleased with my experience with these guys. I bought an iPad mount for my car that they make, and was concerned about delivery time, as I was moving a week from the day I ordered it. Being in San Diego and shipping across the nation, I was especially worried about time constraints.However, I sent them an email outlining my concern and stating Id be willing to pay an up-charge for shipping if it was looking tight. I had a response rather promptly from Chris, explaining the unit is made-to-order, would most likely ship Monday, and that he would follow up with me by noon EST.Well, I received an email by noon EST stating that my order had been shipped, and that they upgraded my shipping free of charge in order to make it there on time. This level of customer care, I personally feel, is unheard of today. Having a prompt response and follow-up is fantastic, but to upgrade my shipping for free to ensure my package arrived on time is superb, and Im very grateful. Will definitely be a repeat customer if Im in need of their services again!

Last week they canceled and rescheduled my appointment. This morning i dropped off my car first thing for their rescheduled time/date and they said they had no installers and would hopefully get to it today. Five hours later they call and can’t even install the remote start as promised. What a waste of two different days off work and the drive up to JAX to drop off the car for the whole day. Terrible communication and customer service.

I bought their custom 4runner enclosure. the sub actually sounds pretty good and hits pretty hard for a single 10 in a sealed box. customer service was good but it takes awhile to get ahold of anyone. but great overall. And there was a probably with shipping, not their fault and they fixed the issue that FedEx caused so that was pretty cool of them

They did an amazing tint job on my car, I was informed on what products they have and what they recommend without feeling pressured at all. I was giving honesty and transparency the entire time!!!

Well, they aren’t cheap but the work and materials are top notch. The ceramic films are extraordinarily efficient at blocking out heat and skin damaging UVA, and UVB. This was eye opening. Car makers have almost no UV protection on side windows. I also noticed that glare is much less and I don’t get fatigued as much while driving.

These guys are Awesome! They wrapped my Toyota FJ Cruiser in midnight blue with micro flakes. Amazing 👌 Great customer service and workmanship. Thanks again!

This shop only accepts customers who will pay for expensive stereo installation. Very bad customer service, very unfriendly attitude.

So after a few days, i am please to say the wrap i had done has held up great and looks amazing. The customer service was great in the shop and the guys were very helpful up front with explaining stuff. The only reason i didnt put 5 stars was that they said they would take the truck back right away and it would be like 3 hrs, it took over an hr for them to start the work and then an extra hour of work. But was never told anything as to why while I waited. Next time, i would just drop it off for work and then go back home or something.

Outstanding experience! They drove to my place of work, picked up my car, did exceptional work, and returned my car within just a few hours. They even offered the keys to their vehicle in case I wanted to go out on my lunch break- how thoughtful!? The technician walked around the parking lot at my work showing me different tint jobs and what different levels would look like. It helped me make the right decision and I couldnt be happier with the outcome!

Over all it was amazing. The workmanship is great. Everyone there was helpful with helping me pick out what would look good with my car. Quality is great. Didnt believe them that the ceramic tint keeps it cooler in the car. I am a firm believer. It does an amazing job with keeping the heat out.

Holy smokes! I have never heard such perfect separation and clarity of instruments in my life! Every sound is completely distinct and at exactly the right level no matter what type of music -- jazz, rock, pop. Simply amazing. And the precise professional installation was flawless too. You couldnt tell theyd even touched the vehicle until you looked in the spare tire well and my 5.0 litre Genesis rocket ship had been turned into the stereo Death Star! All kidding aside, these guys really know what they are doing. Go see them.

Audio design is a really great company that does excellent work. About 6 years ago I took my new Toyota Tacoma in and had a new head unit, speakers, custom woofer, tint and alarm put in and it turned out great. A few months ago one of my speaker stopped working and I wasnt sure why so I brought my truck in thinking that I would need to get new speakers or something and Darren(owner) and his crew figured out what was wrong and put about 2.5 hours of labor (some materials) into my truck and didnt charge me a penny and everything sounds great once again. Ive never heard of anything like that before. I gave them a nice tip though because I dont think anybody should work for free. These guys are the best and they stand behind their work. I guess thats why theyve grown so fast so quickly.

These guys are great. I dealt with Aaron and he was able to give me exactly what I wanted and all through e-mail communication. The vinyl graphics are great, and the sub enclosure looks like it came from the factory that way. I will definitely be using Audio Designs in the future for all of my auto customizations.

Had some new headlights and fog lights put on. Had some issues with the factory wiring i guess so had to come back a few times to get it fixed. Audio design had to rewire it so they would work good on that, but not happy the way they did the wiring nothing was ran neat and the way they put back the parts on the truck, Bolts were missing on the fender well and pieces were falling off.i do appreciate the service and he didnt charge for the rewire.

I have to give them 5 stars because they offered me a courtesy car so the remote start install would not interfere with my day. I just had to put some gas in the car, but me and my son were pretty happy. There was no charge for the courtesy car and my remote start works perfect. Also my total ended up being less than expected. Thanks Chris! First time there and will be back for my other cars.
