Fast to get started, but WAY over schedule. Quality of work is substandard. Gaps every where, sub floor showing where cabinets didnt fit. Some cabinets higher than others. Parts are crooked. Doors are off. Holes dont line up. Damage to surrounding walls and on and on. You get what you pay for. Price was good, but quality is horrible.

We were referred to Mike and Jax Payless Cabinets after a pipe leak in our home caused floor, wall, and cabinet damage and demolition. These things never come at a good time in our schedules, and neither my husband nor I had any experience in mitigation/demolition/rebuild, etc. Simply put, we became lost in the chaos. Mike came out to measure for our cabinet rebuild and was so patient and kind in answering all of my [many] questions. He shared various restoration details, and provided guidance and advice that not only lessened the intensity of the situation, but enabled us to find our path back to a pre-demolition level of sanity. After the custom cabinets had been made and were installed, Mike and Jay tended to every last detail until the job had reached the level of quality perfection. This was not because I demanded it, but because they demanded it of themselves. Mike and his professional team at Jax Payless Cabinets were honest, genuine and caring, and provided quality customer care and work!

Mike works with a painter (Carl Williams...C.L. Williams, Inc.) in the same warehouse and Carl paints all his cabinets for Mike, the owner of Jax Payless Cabinets, and consumers need to be aware that the paint job is of very poor quality/service. Carl Williams will not correct any mistakes that he makes and Mike will not do anything to make Carl to do the job right or do any touch up work. A total scam! Paint finish is a very important part of cabinets! Mike is rude too! And yes the two business are affiliated! Don’t let them fool you on this notion! Share the same space!
