I would not recommend Greystone Kitchens ever doing work in your home. The one thing they did well was make false promises. The management of this company is so disconnected from the work, they dont know what they are promising can happen. But they will promise it will happen. Dont hold your breath. The project started with a major error . When we pointed it out, no one came to see the mistake, they just looked at pictures, taken by the guy who made the mistake, and claimed it looked good to them. This mistake caused cascading subsequent issues lasting the entire projectNot one supervisor ever came to see the project. Many workers came without the proper tools or ability to complete the tasks as assigned. Some arrived to do something that had already been done or was two steps later on the schedule. This was originally scheduled to take less than 2 weeks. 8 weeks later we have our kitchen. The bright spots were Carly in the main office who talked me off the ledge . Kevin had some mad skills and Dale who came the last day of the project to fix the error from day one.

Really great experience. We did a fairly big remodel and everyone from the Beginning to the End have been professional. We had a great experience. Customer service during and after the sale has been top notch. I have recommended them to several people now and there remodels turned out fantastic as well. I will continue to recommend them in the future. Cary has been great to work with. All the people he has sent to the job have made everything perfect for us.

Walking in we were greeted by a receptionist not wearing a mask. The showroom is very tight and it quickly became obvious the not one of the employees were wearing masks or adhere to CDC guidelines. The receptionist said we could ask for that the salesperson who would tour us to wear a mask. There were a lot of people in the show room and since it’s a small place there’s no way to stay 6 feet apart from the other employees who don’t wear a mask so there’s really no point in asking for only the salesperson touring us to put on a mask if another employee is a foot away. If the business is anti-mask that’s great for them i guess but we will be taking our business elsewhere that cares about the safety and well-being of customers.

Let me first say that remodeling a kitchen is not an overnight job, but the wait was worth it! If you want excellent workmanship without short cuts, then Greystone is the place to go. Their price was fair and Jeff and his crew did an outstanding job. They were easy to work with: letting us do some of the things ourselves. We could not be more pleased with the outcome.Gene & Shirley

Jeff at Greystone Kitchens is an absolute visionary! He looked at our dated house from the early 90s and designed a magnificent new format for us. He determined that the many walls in the middle of our house were not bearing walls and worked to transform our small kitchen and divided home into a magnificent open floor plan with a glorious new kitchen. We got several quotes from kitchen renovators for our project who all had different sketches for laying out some plans. Jeff was the only one who climbed up into our attic during the estimate process and looked to see if these walls could be knocked down. He wasnt the cheapest quote - there were others who just looked to replace the cabinets and countertops but didnt offer to create an open floor plan. Jeff was the only one who really did the scholastic research to plan out of the box possibilities and he was the only one who took a truly innovative, artistic eye to our home and envisioned our dream for us.Jeffs team headed up by Micah were incredibly diligent, kind, trustworthy and reliable. Micah is an fabulously talented contractor himself and we loved his work ethic, response time to our questions and his easy going manner. The whole team were the kind of folks you feel comfortable working in your home while you are away, and taking care of all that is precious to you and your family. There were a couple snags along the way, and we even asked for some things to be changed before they were fully completed. Micah was so quick to respond with means to fix anything that we have 100% faith in this team to do impeccable work and make sure everything is taken care of toward the happiness of the client.Jeffs appliance team headed up by Nikki helped us pick out the most beautiful new appliances for our new kitchen. She is an absolute delight to work with and helped us in every way to make our dream a reality. Together with Jeff, Micah, and Nikki, we now have a gorgeous new kitchen with grey cabinets with a brushed glaze, white quartz countertops, and a huge 80 kitchen island with stove where the whole family can converge for fun, food, and celebration. The job was much bigger even than the new cabinets, appliances, and opening up the walled in format to an open floor plan. Jeff and team also made a lot of finishing touches for us to achieve our updated look, like changing out switches to paddles, lighting, floorboards, securing our front door with vertical deadbolts, installing a gorgeous outdoor shower by our pool, and so forth. They do it all! And they are SO FRIENDLY.We cant wait to be ready to get our bathrooms updated next year! These are the best renovators in town. We are going to ask them to redo our bathrooms with matching cabinets as our kitchen. We love Greystone Kitchens and could not recommend them more highly for any size job.

Greystone Kitchens is a 5-star company. Our experience was one of total satisfaction in every phase of the project. They were very patient and helpful with suggestions, competitive on pricing and quick about getting the job done as well. Each person who came to the house was professional and polite and very skilled at doing their specific job. I really appreciated how they have a consistent and talented group of employees and every single small detail and issue (these will be inevitable on a project this size) was attended to and remedied. All of them with total satisfaction. They completed a complete medium-sized kitchen and half-bathroom remodel in a much quicker time than we anticipated. I recommend them and will have them out in the future for more work.

Jeff and his team did a tremendous job with our kitchen renovation. At our very first meeting I provided Micah with my ultimate vision and goal and he worked on a number of designs that took in to account various budget considerations. This allowed us to customize our kitchen to fit our family and lifestyle. They assisted with the design, recommended products based on past experience and helped find the right finishing touches. In addition, the team was extremely thorough during the entire project and never took shortcuts. I would recommend using Greystone Kitchens for all project sizes and will be using them in the future for additional home renovation projects.

I called the company after hearing from a fellow designer that Greystone offers competitive pricing. I am in the process of getting bids myself and I don’t need to go to a store to show them what I would like. I am already collecting in-home bids. The woman who answered the phone was very nice. The concern that I have is that I was clear with the fact that I was already getting bids and knew what I wanted; and I was told I still needed to come to the store. I would suggest that they cast a wider net. Not every person needs to come to the store and if they don’t and are getting bids, offering to come out is important. You’ll be left behind by customers who are ready for a kitchen upgrade. After calling I read the reviews and some of late concern me. I would wait longer for an install versus having subcontracted work. Maybe some don’t mind but others do and would. They have some very good reviews as well and I was referred~ but I’ll never know because as a designer, I’m not going to a showroom. I’m just new to the area so I’m not familiar with all the companies yet and I happen to need my kitchen done.

I would absolutely recommend Jeff, Micah and Greystone kitchens! We needed a complete kitchen/great room renovation with a wall knocked down and with new floors throughout most of the house. Jeff and his guys did fantastic work. I am a stay at home mom most of the time and I wanted to hire someone who made me feel comfortable while I was home with my daughter most days, Jeff and his guys were absolutely that. Professional, kind, and got me back up and cooking as quick as possible. My only complaint to Jeff was that they sometimes communicate like men, but they can’t help that :)

I would absolutely recommend Greystone. They did a complete kitchen remodel in my 85-year-old Craftsman Bungalow, and I love it! When dealing with an old home, you never know what may be uncovered, which I was warned about. They successfully navigated the demolition and remodel while also bringing natural gas into the house, coordinating all of what that entails. Changes were dealt with calmly and pleasantly; the timeline was reasonable. I am very pleased with the quality of the work which was equaled by the professional, respectful and pleasant demeanor of everyone I dealt with on the project. Jeff deserves a lot of credit for putting together such a good team.

Very disappointed with this company. They came out to look at our kitchen remodel project. Took measurements and spent over an hour listening to what we wanted to do in the remodel. Then....never heard from them for several weeks. I actually had to email and ask for the estimate at which time they sent a rendering of their vision for our kitchen which was completely not what we wanted. We specifically said we wanted to keep the footprint of the kitchen, but their vision was to move everything around taking the refrigerator from its dedicated space and moving it by the door where - if they had measured - it did not fit. The cabinet placement was a pedestrian and unprofessional design and nothing like we had talked about. Their explanation with the unprofessional rendering was we know its different than what we talked about. Of course, we never called them back and they never followed up with us. We never heard from them again. We can only guess at the reason, but it is not because the job was too small as the estimators preliminary bid was $25,000 for the remodel. Stay far away from this company unless you want to spend your time begging them to work with you and then giving you a completely unprofessional response.

Jeff Martin of Martin Appliance/Greystone Kitchens recently completed an expansion of our small kitchen by doubling its size encompassing our dining and kitchen to become one large area. We have nothing but praise for the entire Greystone staff from Jeff, the contractor, to all the workers who worked diligently to complete our project. Workers showed up and were cordial, professional and were very aware of their job for the day and were aware and understanding of what we homeowners were going through. We would highly recommend Jeff Martin and his team to remodel the smallest to the largest job in your home. Their expertise in helping you achieve your dream is outstanding. Visited the Home and Patio show looking for bathroom remodeling ideas and ran across Greystone Kitchens. My wife and I went by their office on Philips Hwy a few weeks later to see their showroom and we liked what they offered. We scheduled an estimate for the following week. We had already received estimates from four other companies but could not decide because of price or just didnt feel confident with them. Greystone was different, we felt comfortable and confident the work would be done with our needs in mind. The team that worked on our bathroom worked together very well. Clean, very professional, and took the needed steps to ensure the rest of our home was not overly impacted. I would recommend Jeff and the Greystone Team for all you bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room remodeling needs. Thanks Jeff and Greystone team for our awesome bathroom.

They were helpful when I went in but I needed to have someone come to my house and help layout a kitchen design and give estimates on other contracting work. The contracting part I was told that they were really backed up but the guy made an appointment with me to come out couple days later and look at the kitchen. I waited for him for over an hour and no call and no show. I guess I could have called them but wasnt given a card and figured if they cant keep an appointment then not worth the future hassle for the project.

I am appalled at this companys unprofessionalism. They provided an estimate for our kitchen update; however, it was not itemized - we had no idea of the cost of each item. It was also missing project items that were discussed during the home consult. The estimate reflected a different subject address, different client name & incorrect client phone number. We were unsure if the estimate was even for our project. In addition, they required a 75% deposit which is not the norm. We reached out for clarification and then received a text message stating they would pass on our project. No explanation provided. They obviously do not like to be questioned. This company is crazy. Do not recommend.

Back in March of 2018 I I went to Greystone for a quote on new counter tops, I had two other quotes for the exact same material and job. I liked the folks at Greystone and they seemed to be personally interested. Their quote was aprox. two thousand dollars more than the competition, when I ask them about this they adjusted the quote down by $1227.00. Be cause I liked them I decided to use them. I was misinformed by the salesman as to the plumbing work. I was told they had a licensed plumber on staff as well as an electrician to perform the required work, not so. However the fellow that did the work done a good job. The work went well and the job was done in the time frame I was quoted. Once the counter tops were installed it was obvious that one large section did not have the same brilliant finish as the other sections and the edges were definitely not as brilliant. When I asked about this they sent another company out to rub down the edges with chemicals two times When I indicated that I was not entirely satisfied I was told that bull nose edges do not take the buffing as well as other edges, well they should see my two neighbors that are perfect, with the same edges. After several phone calls and asking if they could buff the counter tops and edges out to the same brilliant finish as those that were brilliant it became obvious that this was not or could not be done. So-be-it well have to live with it but it was less than we had hoped for. The new sink strainer started to rust and the owner came out said he would take care of that, never did. They measured the three bathrooms for counter tops and never did get back with me on that. I didnt get any of my last three phone calls returned so the first of the year I just put it behind me. Friendly folks and good work but I question the quality, the follow through and the orig. quote issue.

We needed to replace a ceramic cooktop at our vacation home and had limited time to do it before we had to return to our main home. After calling numerous appliance dealers in the Jacksonville area, I talked with the ladies at Martin Appliance. We had a great experience with Greystone Kitchens. From the beginning, Peter did a fantastic job of listening to what I wanted to do with the kitchen, and working with me to revise the plan until I was happy. I was provided samples to take home and look at, and several re-workings of the plan, before I had to pay a down payment. There was a 75% down payment, but the entire project was itemized in list form, and allowances were granted for the unforeseen item expenses (backsplash and cabinet pulls) that I did not have picked out yet.The timing of the project was long, but my project involved new lighting, new plumbing hook ups, resurfacing horrible popcorn ceiling and years of wallpaper upon wallpaper, removal of old soffits, and then the pretty stuff: new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and light fixtures. This isnt a TV show, and takes longer than an hour to complete. Greystone delivered on time, within the projected timeline.Additionally, every subcontractor and employee that was out at the house was polite, friendly, and cleaned up the work space (as much as you can given the nature of a kitchen reno at least). We were completely comfortable leaving our key out in a lockbox during the pendency of the project, and had no issues whatsoever with any of the guys that came out to the project.Last, the project total didn’t skyrocket with unexpected costs. I expanded the scope to add drywall repair and painting to an adjoining room, at the literal last minute, and they took it in stride, providing an excellent product, with minimal extra cost. And that was the only extra cost – my additional scope of work.Jeff and Kevin were always available to respond to “urgent” texts, to walk through issues, but to be honest, there was never anything major that came up that they weren’t handling already, or didnt have a plan for. I cannot say enough great things about this company, and would not hesitate to work with them again.

I chose Greystone Kitchens and Bath because i was promised great quality work in the timeline i needed. The saleman that met with me for initial estimate was friendly BUT overpromised and was misleading with the timeframe. I paid a much higher price for my kitchen counters and backsplash because i was promised it would i be finished when i needed it.Fast forward and the entire project was delayed. A 2-day project became a 5 day project, spread over a 2 week period. No communication on days and times that contractors would arrive to do work. They would call on their way and hope someone was home. The subcontractors that were hired said this was a common complaint by all their customers. The job wasnt completed without issues - plumbing, drywall, missing grout. It was a nightmare. The work was done 3 months ago and the grout is cracking. I reached out for someone to fix it and was told i would be hearing from someone but nothing. In my profession i work many contractors and companies. I would never recommend Greystone kitchen and bath. NEVER!
