When they first opened they had great deals. Now they sell cheap Korean stuff at top retail prices. I will make my purchases online from now on.

Went in to replace the hydraulic struts that hold engine cover up. Made it clear mine were failing. The parts employee tried to compare the resistance of my old one to resistance of new ones, by hand, which have me a weaker one than what I needed. I ended up finding the correct one elsewhere.

I didnt know this place was still in business. Would have given it five stars had the employees had better attitudes. The young guy back in parts was great. The lady at the front counter, well, seemed like she just needed to go home and take a break.

Im not so sure why they have a 4.5 star rating. They definitely need to remove Discount from the store name. Prices are high as hell- customer service is minimal especially for African Americans, I watched the staff greet several white people Good morning, can I help you with anything? But didnt utter a word to 2 other black people including myself and I still purchased a $1000 trailer from them during this visit. I wanted to give Academy my money but they were out of stock on the trailer I needed. Ill take my business elsewhere from now on.

They were very helpful. The visit was for parts and they had them in stock for a reasonable price. I had tried four other shops before finding the parts.

Staff was very friendly and helped provide direction on a problem with my boat trailer. Did not have what I need, but they are getting some options ordered and offered to help me determine what will work best if I bring the trailer in.

I take every opportunity I can to avoid West Marine which is what brought me here. Great selection of parts in store and they will get you whatever you need in good time.

Bought a Brand New Mercury 9.9 hp Outboard from these guys. They made me wait 2 hrs for what they said is a routine inspection check. After they told me it was good to go, come pick it up. The following weekend i took the motor out, it would not start. I tried for 1 hour. Fuel was leaking everywhere. I call them up, and they told me use my 3 year warranty and take it to the repair dealer. The Dealer had the motor for almost 2 weeks ordering the parts. The Dealer said it had a bad carburetor, they should have notice the engine was leaking gas and had a problem!!

Great store, great people, most everything you need for boat and trailer maintenance is on hand. The prices are very competitive. They will order anything else you may need.

Nice selection of boat accessories and trailer parts. A little pricey but not too bad. Good store hours for working people. Open till 6:00 Monday thru Friday. And open on Saturday and Sunday.

Staff are always nice and helpful. Been going there for years. No matter what boat we need parts for, they either have it in stock or can get it. We also like their high quality selection of stainless steel parts and hardware. Its our go to source for nuts, bolts and screws. Way better than the junk in the local hardware stores. Prices seem competitive. Will price match or come darn close to online prices.

If you want to come to a boat supply store with nothing in it by all means COME ON DOWN. they did not have a motor flush kit aka the earmuffs for a outboard motor. Seriously???I had to drive down Blanding blvd into orange park at academy sports to buy some. How is it a boat place aint got them but a sporting goods store does. Avoid these people unless you like seeing a store with nothing in it. A boat place without a motor flush kit is like a Chinese restaurant without dead cats

This Marine retail store has been on Blanding in Jax a very long time and is a fully stocked boat store along with all hardware supplies for boat,motor and trailer repairs and maintenance.The employees are courteous and knowledgeable and bend over backwards to assist you!

This is a store of the past. Prices are very high. Ordered parts over two weeks ago and they still can’t tell me when they will be here. If I ordered on the internet they would have been cheaper and here by now. Don’t really understand what I get by buying anything here anymore. Also the parts guy is a moron. Takes him like 10-15 mins to look something up and he is using the same charts on the internet that I use and I find the part in like 2 mins.

I had a tire blow out about 15mi away from their shop. They had the wheel/tire combo in stock and Rick (I believe was his name, it was a long day) drove up through a hellacious thunderstorm, to meet me at the most ghetto of all north Jacksonville gas stations I couldve been stranded at, and help me install it. Whats next we noticed the electric winch on my dads trailer failed and the boat was slipping back. We limped the bait back to the store (primarily out of self preservation due to a situation unfolding on the other side of the gas station) and he helped me secure it. I offered to pay but he just said to have an enjoyable holiday. I was severely humbled and appreciative of such a selfless individual taking the time to help out a stranger. 5 stars for him and the shop, the staff here will take care of ya. Thanks guys.

This is the place to go in Jacksonville if you need parts at a fair price for your boat. Its not as large as West Marine, but the prices are better.
