I love it...the area, how clean the store is, how neat the food is stored, how beautiful the vegetables are, and how kind the clerks are. The prices are great too! Lower than Harvey, with better quality produce. The avocados were ripe and not extreme hard like other grocery stores. The store is also bright with great sunlight and pretty, happy colors which make the shopping experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this grocery store. There are entertainment and nail salons and restaurants nearby too, so you can accomplish many things in one area...a nice Southside area.

The past few times Ive shopped here, both the salad bar and the sandwich station had terrible looking lettuces and tomatoes (shown in pictures).Today, i ran here to grab a quick sub around noon to eat for the first time today. A few hours past by and out of nowhere a pounding headache came on strong and i got super weak. Laid down to rest for an hour, then puked it all up and ive been in bed all day with head pounding hungry as can be with no energy.. thanks for the food poison 👎👎 i wont be shopping here any more. The only reason people pay publix outrageous prices is because the food supposed to be FRESHER AND BETTER than Walmart, but yaul just as trash

Very clean store. Very friendly and helpful staff. The meats displayed in the meat department always look fresh. The prices are slightly higher then some other grocery stores but the experience is worth it. Great bakery and great deli. I pass a Winn Dixie on my way to Publix for all the reasons listed above.

Very nice employees, my kids even like them and they were given stickers and a coloring book. I thought that was sweet.

As usual the staff is always helpful. Anytime in day or night they smile and ready to help. Checkout is easy and quick. Stock is well organized. Every time we see some deals while entering the store and I like the concept. Carts are always sanitized and kept well. Fresh produce is really fresh and quality is very good. I like to shop this place even it’s far from my place than other Publix stores.

Publix is the anchor store...Nice mall areas hidden behind the Southside Boulevard street view. Lots of variety to shop and eat.

Anna in the bakery is the best! I went to pick up a pull apart unicorn cake for my daughter’s birthday, and they couldn’t find the slip, this it was not ready. The person making cakes for the day had already left. Anne asked me to give her 20 min and she would have it ready. Once she had it ready for me, she made it free of charge to “make it right”. It was perfect and my daughter was overjoyed. Thank you so much. I’m thankful for people like you and for an organization that strives for this level of customer service.

I have been going to Publix for years and get the same level of service no matter which store I visit. If I have any concerns or need help all I have to do is ask any associate and they will act like the only reason they are there is to help me. The customer truly comes first at Publix.

Managers very kind and polite aware of changes to the parking lot getting new seal coating and parking lines. Please be aware of blocked lanes. Try to park accordingly to street crew.

Only 1 employee at the customer service dealing with a money order customer takes forever, ok we got that part but 3 whatever managers just chit chating by the registers doing nothing. They even pass by and look into your eyes but still nothing, i keep having this issue lately. When you have too many generals but no soldiers that war is lost, just let the useless go get somebody to work

I like this grocery...its clean and everything looks fresh. The cashiers are awesome, never had to deal with a manager, so i dont know but i assume they are all pretty nice. They all speak when you come in and make you feel welcome and assisted.

We shop at this licatuin at least once or twice a week. The staff is always professional courteous and quick to respond if you have a question. The supermarket is always clean and they always keep a great stock of the foods that we are always looking for when we shot there.

Everything was stocked, clean, diversity of salads that looked healthy, people are nice that work there unlike old baymeadows, and preferred it over 295 in baymeadows will continue to go to that Publix which is further away than both of them mentioned Publix is above however well say still fails in comparison to any Kroger I have been in.....

Deli should limit the number of sandwiches people can order at the counter to no more than 2 during lunch rush. Larger orders should be placed online in advance. No one should have to wait in line for 25-30 minutes for a sandwich....

I love this local Publix. Everything is always clean, and I really like how I can walk to it. Its one of the few Publix locations in Jacksonville thats integrated into a walkable neighborhood.

This is my go to Publix. Its actually a bit further for me than the one on university but its always worth it. Customer service here is excellent.

I shop here a lot bc its near my house but I have YET to walk in here and get frozen corn on the cob. They are always out no matter the day of the week. Its obvious its a popular item so more should be ordered.This is why I tend to shop at Winn Dixie on Baymeadows instead. They are beyond amazing there.This publix just doesnt live up to publix standards.

Our local Publix is always clean and well-stocked (as much as any store can be right now) and the employees are incredible workers from what Ive experienced.

The items in the Publix Bakery are pretty superior in in regards to quality, taste, and appearance In relation to other chain stores. The only thing is, they no longer focus on customer service like they used to. That part has definitely diminished in the in the last several years (certain locations more so than others).I had a question about a bakery item today (11/14/20, Saturday Morning) and was standing there waiting for a bit. A very helpful Latino lady finally walked by and assisted me (not sure of her name) but the other three people that were standing nearby before her did not even acknowledge I was standing there. My question was pretty simple...... how very unfortunate. If people worked together they would realize how much better their job would be, how much smoother things would run, and what a better experience it would be for shoppers!I got a little snappy with the lady who assisted me because I was not very happy at that point .........but I really applaud her and appreciate her assistance since you took the time and she was quite nice to me even though I was upset. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have been helped at all! Extremely professional and thorough. Those are usually the employees that don’t get appreciated but take up all the slack!

This is my closest Publix and it is well organized and clean. The parking lot is a little tight but they do have plenty of spaces. The store shares an area with multiple restaurants and shops.

I ALWAYS have a great experience at Publix! This location in particular has customer service thats second to none. Some things are over priced honestly, but the environment more than makes up for that. The workers in every department are super friendly and helpful, which is why Im there almost weekly!

This store had exactly what I was looking for. My Publix lately has been a hit or miss.. The cashier & bagger at Deerwood greeted me with welcomes. And I was amazed the same dog food I can get here at the same price I pay at the pet store. This save me a stop. I had one more stop to make & the bagger provided a closer location. My new store!

By far my favorite supermarket in all of Jacksonville, and Ive lived here almost 30 years now. It is always impeccably clean, their prices are always competitive, and actually theyre buy one get one free offerings make this the most reasonably priced supermarkets in town.The employees here are top notch, always Pleasant always helpful and they always seem genuinely happy to be working there, it must be a pretty good working environment.They have a fantastic produce department and and even better meat department, with a fantastic variety of meats and knowledgeable helpful butchers.The bakery is one of the best in Jacksonville in my opinion, and the seafood department is phenomenal as well.Love the pharmacy and employees here, always helpful cheerful and the service is above expectations as far as speed and courtesy.The deli is my favorite anywhere in this side of town, love the baked chicken too, not a single complaint in all the years Ive been coming here.Always clean, always well lit parking, well-secured & just an overall great experience shopping here every time.Michael H...

A sharp rise in prices since last week when I shopped there. I wont go as often now.

A normal publix, friendly employees easy to find products. If you have trouble finding products there is always an employee near by to help.

Due to the half of parking lot construction refurbishment, very hard to get a parking spot. Just have to keep looking till a spot open up.Quite a lot of shoppers. Publix handle the checkouts quickly. And the handle those walkers and lookers lost trying to find items were directed very good. All aspects of customer service were courteous handle.

Great place to shop

I had a great experience! The store was gorgeous. Immaculate product presentation clearly attributed to the diligent staff. They were so focused on stocking, blocking and cleaning yet never missed an opportunity to try and help their customers. Scobie helped me pick out a new wonderful coffee for my wife. Remington showed us where we could find the awesome deal on Ginger Ale and Robert helped us locate these sweet potato fries my wife had been wanting me to try. They were spectacular !

Pharmacy is a joke 5 workers and one person dealing with pick ups. And a line of always 5 or more waiting. A pharmacy shouldn’t take 20-30 min to pick up a simple prescription.
