This is the barber shop on Beach Blvd. and University Blvd. This barbershop is very clean, professional and respectful, as I am a woman, that has a low natural cut. Corey is my barber, love his work! This barbershop does all ethnicities.

Great customer service and ask employees are knowledgeable of everything in the store. Very helpful.Bags are not free anymore but i understand thats our if their control so it went affect my rating lol

If you dont mind them following you around, or if everything you touch something they pop up like a jack n the box and scare the mess out of you while can I help you oozies out their crookit smile. keep your hands in your pockets or by your sides dont touch anything. And if you pick up something to buy expect someone to swoop in and take it away . They will inform you it will be at the counter, keep shopping . Even a comb, wont be getting my money anymore!

I had my haircut by the barber Corey, and he always do a fantastic job. Ive been going to him for years and I always get positive compliments about my haircut. He is respectful, professional,and a wonderful person. I highly recommend him.

The Asian woman,older Asian woman was extremely rude to me and acted as if I was bothering her because I was asking her to help me find the particular wig color that I was looking for and two find where the human hair wigs were. She also asked if I was bothering her because I asked her the price of the wigs because I didnt have on my reading glasses and she did have on hers. I left mine at home. And finally she treated me as if I was going to try to steal the wig. I had 2 in my hand and I still wasnt decided and I walked away from her to look at additional wigs and she immediately said put the wigs down you dont know which you want yet. Black people keep food on their table. We are the ones that shop in their stores not white people or other races. And to be treated as if Im a thief. As hard as I have worked my entire life and had over $700 on my card to pay for the 39 99 wig. Very much Disturbed me very upsetting to me and unacceptable. Is that why they are beating down the Asian people?

If 0 was a rating thats what Id put, 0! The workers are usually fine but the owners are nasty. They have no manners, they do not greet nor acknowledge their customers. Human Resources also needs to look into this business. I know that they fired a student when they found out she enrolled in college and then hired another person. They need to be sued and fine for discrimination.

At Beauty Max, the customer is NEVER right. I was appalled at the service I received at the Beach Blvd. location. After selecting multiple hair styling products, hair accessories, etc... with the help of a very pleasant young lady, I was surprised to find that I was being over charged for several items. A manager directed the cashier to go to the display and verify the prices. To the managers surprise, the signs posted had the lower price so she contacted the owner who refused to honor the lower stated price. She acknowledged her fault stating the sign was incorrect but stated she would rather lose a customer than lose the the $6.00. I was dumbfounded as I was purchasing over 100.00 worth of items. It is evident that the owners of Beauty Max promote a business that is not only unprofessional and dishonest, but a business that is predatory amongst a customer population that is primarily made up of African American females. We as Americans, need to stand up against those businesses trying to take advantage of us as consumers; such businesses should not exist and it is the consumer that can control whether such store succeeds or fails. I am certain that I am only one of hundreds, if not thousands who have been tricked into paying higher prices. It is time to say No More!. As the previous reviewer wrote, ... treat those as you want to be treated... thank goodness for karma!

I took a while before I got helped. I knew what I wanted, but I didnt know what type hair to purchase. With only two employees in the store, I had to wait almost 15 minutes. I went to the cashier to ask for her help and she told me to go and get what I think I wanted and bring it to the counter. ILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

There is a nice selection of hair here but its not as big as other locations. Also customer service varies depending on who is working, sometimes the staff is helpful and sometimes they seem bothered when you ask for help. They have a decent rewards program and the store is always clean and neat.

The store is nice size. But they offer $10 off when you spend a certain amount. However if you lose the receipt they dont honor the discount. Even if you have hour card and they can still see the discount is due. Id rather just keep.buying bundles and get my hair products from Walmart. There is benefit from going here.

Went into Beauty Max Barber Shop and the barber Alexander Acs was completely attentive and gave me one of the best cuts Ive had. He made completely sure that I was 100% satisfied before leaving. Alexander is definitely a barber youd want to return to each time.

Very horrible customer service!! I called to get the price of any of deep wave bundles and was told that I would have to come in for a price!!! So apparently they have a million and 1 deep wave bundles and she couldnt give me the price of not one. So basically, I needed to waste gas to get a price, not to mention the hair is probably of poor quality. Hair store workers are can be the nastiest, rudiest, and just unprofessional creatures known to man.

Poor customer service attitude from manager after I spent almost 200.00 in this store, speaking to me like I am a child. If you do not do exchanges then take it off your receipt. On April 23rd, I bought some Xpression crochet hair for my daughter. Monday night I installed the hair. On Tuesday my daughter came home, and her hair was gray. I called the store and spoke with the young lady who assisted me with my purchase. She advises me to come to the store and talk with the owner and show my daughters hair and to see what option will be available. First often, the owner didnt show any empathy toward the situation she stated I need to call Manufacture because its nothing she can do. This would be the last time I will spend my money where is not appreciate it.The hair supposes to be a number 4

The manager was very rude over setting lotion that was 5.99 on the shelf and the cashier typed the upc and it said 5.99 she goes and says no its 11.99 then comes type it in the register herself it says 5.99 and said no she is not selling it at that price....I said wow and this is customer service for you I left and said have a great day I thought reading was fundamental and that customer service is first......not here I I wouldnt give 1 star

I was there with the two grandsons who was visiting me from out of state because there parents were unavailable to take them to get their hair cut but the mother of the children (my daughter) sent me a picture of how she wanted their hair to be cut. So I showed the picture to the barber who was going to be doing the cut and I left to go pick up some items from the store down the road. When I got the call letting me know that my grandsons were finished and looked at their hair, it was not like the photo but the kind barber did redo it with no problem but the OWNER of the building got upset because the cut was not what I wanted and because the barber had to fix the cut to make it right (Huh!, Its that what Im paying him to do) Words went back in forth and I told him for someone who is a first time customer, I did not like his attitude towards me and he was very nasty. The OWNER told me that I can leave his place of business if I continue to tell him about himself. Needless to say, the barber continue to fix the hair and did an excellent job and getting it closed to what the picture looked that I gave him a $5.00 tip. But the OWNER of that establishment needs lessons in good customer services. He should not be in business dealing with customers especially the way he spoke to me as a woman. I guess he does that at home but that will be my FIRST AND LAST TIME going to that place for anything. That tells me he has NO RESPECT for WOMEN AT ALL!!!!!!

Worst hair store, worst customer service, i went in the store, being new from out of town to purchase a wig, i selected one, went to try it on having my stocking cap with me and the girl at the counter shouted from up top that i cannot try the wig on unless i have a stocking cap which i did and i told her, she said i should buy one from the store or i should leave. I mean omg that was so disrespectful and insulting. I would never recommend them, worst customer service.
