Great little family owned and operated bait shop.They have just about everything you need to fish the river near by so you dont have to drive across town for bait and supplies.Just a heads up, they are being very cautious right now with covid protocols so you may end up waiting outside for a bit before you can enter.

Not the best customer service and the live shrimp i bought were TINY!!! They do have a good selection of tackle and gear. Ill go back

This place is a treasure. I am not the best or most knowledgeable fisher person, but I always get great service here. I went in yesterday to buy some shrimp and some hooks and I overheard another customer. He was doing some crabbing with his family and was looking at nets. Did they try to talk him into the most expensive one they had, that he was looking to get? They did not. They went into detail how a cheaper net would suit him! I love that they worked with him and got what he NEEDED.Great store, great people! Wear a mask for their health as well as yours and dont complain about common sense.David

I moved here 4 months ago and found this bait and tackle shop. There is a very nice selection of tackle to fill my fishing needs. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable about fishing in this area. I always go there for my live shrimp, they are feisty and last up to a week+ in my ariated bait bucket. If you do visit please wear a mask and use the hand sanitizer at the counter upon entry. I dont want my favorite peeps getting sick. Again a great place for bait and tackle.

This is by far one of the best bait and tackle shops in the area. Ive gone to other ones near and it wasn’t the same this one treats you like you are part of their family. I really recommend going.

Called earlier in the day; asked a price of something and was quoted; upon check-out I was informed the price was higher. When I inquired why; he stated “I thought that was the price ?!?”. Now.. this not about the money; I always tip my local bait shops and would have this time as well. My local shops were out of what I needed. But, this gentleman works there and seemed well in place with the prices clearly marked by checkout. This was my first time using this one that I found on line close to my office and did not know was there for I do not live in the area. Please understand; It was not about the money.I do not conduct business this way and will not with those that do. Felt.. Bait and switched.

By far the rudest person ive ever delt with ! lady in the back who actually works is wonderful, but i wouldnt go in this place again if it was the last bait and tackle store left in Jacksonville !!

Nice people, very helpful. A lot of people come in for just live bait. Large selection of artificial lures, tackle, accessories and rods and reels, too. Check them out you wont be disappointed.

Pretty much out of everything worth buying, woman behind the counter is rude, make sure you have a mask otherwise you will not be allowed in(I understand following the rules but no one is enforcing the mandatory mask policy anymore...especially mom and pop bait shops😂). They will eventually run themselves out of business with their poor attitude and customer service(see other reviews). I guess I’ll be spending my money at strike zone, west marine, and academy like before I found this place.

A friend recommended this place however when speaking to the man working there he seemed reluctant to help. When looking around the store he literally followed me around. The prices were much more which is understandable for a Ma and Pa store however, With a ma and pa store youd expect a better customer connection as well customer service as well better item selection for better prices.

Bill is awesome and gave me some great info today! All the baits were inexpensive and he has his own line of jig heads that look amazing and are extremely well priced! Best tackle shop I’ve been in.

The woman who works here is strangely rude. My husband was very excited to find a bait and tackle shop around the corner from our house, but almost every time he’s gone he’s left frustrated by his interaction. He never cares much about customer service and is pretty even keeled when it comes to attitudes so it’s always interesting if he complains to me after an interaction. He dropped $70 a couple of days ago and about $150 total over the last week. No way we are coming back after this last visit. The convenience is not worth how difficult this woman has made it to shop there. Edit: he used a debit card with a pin, so being IDed is unnecessary. He’s also used the card every time he’s come into the shop and she only IDed the one time after multiple times of rude service. Her “kindness” was fake and forced.

Love this place! They have been around for ages. Locally owned and operated. They have a great selection of bait and tackle.I love how the owner works with my son on his math skills using change. Overall great place! Great people too!

Ive done some shopping around and while ABT doesnt necessarily always have the best prices they still come close, and are more reliable with having stock than other places Ive visited. Customer service skills could use a work-over but I feel like they mean well. The staff is also fairly knowledgeable on product, which you wont get many places. I had some issues with dead bait in the past from them, but havent again in awhile.

Carmen and Bill are phenomenal. They are very knowledgeable and will help you make sure you have everything you need to catch fish. ABT is fully stocked- if they dont offer it, you dont need it. Unfortunately, they are closed Mondays. ABT also offers charters with Captain Bill Lamb. Capt. Bill is respected in the fishing community and is very professional. He will make sure you have an unforgettable fishing experience.

First off if you follow Google map it will put you behind the store. The shop is in the shopping center behind McDonalds. This shop was well worth my 45 min ride from st marys to vist. Not only did it have one of the best selection of bait iv seen but great customer service. They lady working there was awesome! They took the time to educate me on different fishing techniques and wrapped the bait up frozen fish in paper very well, to help keep frozen till i got home..bring a cooler... Will definitely be a returning customer.

ATB’s owners are awesome, a husband and wife team who truly love fishing like the rest of us! They’re very knowledgeable and always willing to share their decades of fishing knowledge unlike a lot of the shops around JAX. The shop itself is my go-to Tackle/Bait shop with a great selection of pretty much anything you could possibly need, including a healthy selection of live baits to choose from. I think over the years there’s only been one or two times they were out and even then they were sure to call me same day when they were restocked. I highly recommend ATB! Check Em out!

Excuse me Jessica Osborne but you might be mistaken this place is located in the town and country center with the sign ABT Fishing Ive Frequented them for years theyre a small family owned business that has always been very friendly to me and ive never received my shrimp wrapped in a paper they use plastic bags and my shrimp has always been on good shape however there is a place down the road that sells shrimp as well. i would just like to make sure you are giving them a review that was meant for another business because they certainly dont deserve it

This was my first and last time of doing business with Arlington Bait and Tackle. I was with my wife and we stopped to get some bait shrimp for a kayak trip. I should have walked out when the man behind the counter was very cocky but I needed shrimp. Got the shrimp wrapped in paper for our trip to Mill Cove. Once there, decided to divide the shrimp and they were pink as if they were boiled and rotten smelling! Tried to use anyway and not even the crabs would bite it.
