I truly loved coming here! Not only was the employee super sweet and inviting, but I love the overall environment. The menu focus more on the simplicity of coffee and teas, but I think the craft of their coffee stays true to what coffee should be! My sister ordered a carrot cake muffin which was super affordable and one of the most delicious muffins I had. It was sweet and moist and we both devoured it in minutes. It is also quite large and for under $3, you can’t beat that!I got the Tangerine Dream which is one of their seasonal items for the summer. If you are looking for something refreshing, sweet, and not heavy, this drink is delicious. I would ask for light ice but other than that, it’s not too potent, it tastes almost like a tea, but is still so good! I would definitely love to come back here!The outdoor seating area is beautiful as well and the overall atmosphere is perfect for working at a cafe. It is affordable, have a range of items, the baked goods are delicious.

How awesome that they are open 6 days a week in downtown Jacksonville? Most things are closed which makes downtown a place you dont want to go to on a Saturday or Sunday. Absolutely love their fresh bakery items and their unique coffee and smoothie concoctions. Plus there is a really nice indoor outdoor kind of space where you can sit and relax.

Quaint little hole in the wall. Had one of their specialty coffees (Killer Bee if I recall) and really enjoyed it! The pseudo indoor area is a nice place to chill with cozy brick accents. Will visit again!

A hip urban place for “young working” adults serving your basic coffee house style drinks and food items.

Passing through on a bicycle trip, came in here on Sunday morning, barista Melissa was very helpful with info on not only Jacksonville(had never been there before), but also the surrounding area. (Tell her that I did make it to Brunswick! 🙃)

My favorite spot downtown. Their chicken salad sandwich is the best on earth IMHO. Their coffee is also top notch. Great atmosphere. A lovely break during the work day.

Stumbled on this place after walking across the river as there were no decent coffee shops southside. Beautiful coffee, very fresh roast, excellent cakes and sandwiches at a good price. Hugely attentive staff and a great indoor courtyard garden to sit in. Dont miss this place, its a coffee lovers treat.

Well - my hotel coffee option was the pits. Urban Grind made me feel like I was back home enjoying a double espresso with my local shop. Good work team!

Good cold brew, friendly staff and even friendlier customers. Ham and cheddar egg casserole hour the spot for breakfast.As others have pointed out, its a counter with a window facing space with about 3 stools, but the main seating area is a shared and open space where it seems good to chill for a few hours. If Iived/worked here, I would go here regularly.

Great vibe. Pretty good breakfast and lunch menu. They were very accommodating, conversational, and polite. I got an English breakfast tea, caramel macchiato, and a bagel with cream cheese.

Cute coffee shop with a fun vibe! We stayed in Jacksonville overnight while traveling through and my husband found this gem. I got and almond milk latte with coconut flavor and he got a drip coffee. We both also got egg sandwiches which were delicious! Would highly recommend.

This place was phenomenal! I went mainly for the coffee because I love trying local coffee shops when Im away from home, but the reviews and menu told me to stay for lunch. First off, this is only the second place in America that Ive found that can make a TRUE flat white properly. Their baristas are exceptional. The food was outstanding as well. I had their take on the Cuban sandwich, which was on the same level as a Miami Cuban. Their nutella-banana waffle boat was delicious also! I will always come back her when Im in Jacksonville!

Its an interesting space. Where they sell the coffee is more a counter than a shop. The seating is in an industrial design dim foyer of a creator style office complex. High red brick walls and a grey metal staircase in the middle going who knows where. While cool its not 100% inviting but generally a nice vibe. Coffee is self served in paper cups . Taste was fine.

I have gone here every day since the first time getting a iced latte !! The coffee is great, the food is great. But the thing that brings it all together is the service! I love how the man in charge sits right there and says hello to everyone. The women behind the counter are awesome! Haven’t gotten anything wrong so far ! Beautiful place, I truly can’t say anything bad about them.

First experience here was amazing!! Love the environment and atmosphere. They have a fantastic out door lounge with shade to do school work for college students or any kind of computer work. This is a fast and dependable coffee shop with a great selection. The staff are always friendly and on top off everything, even during busy hours. Prices are unbeatable in the area. Definitely recommend this place to anyone working downtown if you need a quick, quality coffee.

This coffee shop makes me feel like Im visiting a small, local cafe in New York and I love it. The decor is cute, the seating area outside is very relaxing and trendy, and the staff is very nice. I’m not much of a coffee person so I love that they offer smoothies and teas as well. The lunch is delicious 👌🏽.

I like the atmosphere of the garden outside, but it was a very small shop that is obviously geared toward the business district. We arrived 10 minutes before they closed and they were not/did not want to brew drip coffee for my husband. He enjoyed his latte and I enjoy my decaffeinated iced tea, which was a nice option that is not common to most places. Not sure I would visit again but did not hate my experience.

The staff was super kind, our food and our drinks tasted great, and we will definitely be coming back! 😃

I recently discovered this cute little cafe! I love that they have irish creme flavored syrup, yum! I did try a sandwich there and it was okay. The baristas are so friendly and there is a very cool outside seating area.

Eh.. Fast and easy. Not going to win any awards for the food or coffee. My egg salad sandwich could have used lettuce, pickle or anything else to add flavor. $6+ dollars for a plain sandwich or bagel. So basically $10 with tip for a coffee and plain sandwich or bite leaving you hungry. No thanks.I will say the customer service and the staff are very nice.

Yea this place was pretty cool. Small and the coffee wasn’t nearly as good as Bold Bean or Social House in the historic district but the staff was nice and it was really convenient to our hotel spot downtown.

Best chicken salad in downtown Jax! The Tropical smoothie is quite delicious as well. No refills on tea though.. i mean it costs them pennies, maybe a dime.

This place is great. Laid back coffee shop atmosphere, awesome staff, chilled out music, and a great courtyard that even has a fire pit (though sometimes its out of propane).We discovered Urban Grind a few months ago; but prior to that we had been here at least a year and had no idea it was even there as it is somewhat tucked into the building. Great location though if youre looking for good coffee, frappacinos, tea or lunch. They also have great prices.

Omg! The customer service!!! Amazing! The best caramel macchiato I’ve ever had (yes, including Starbucks), anddddddddd I ordered a bagel with cream cheese! They toasted my bagel to perfection, put my cream cheese on it for me and sliced it in half! I didn’t have to worry about mess like I do anywhere else! Super cute and delicious!!!

Dont waste your time... They missed my order, and stood there looking at me for thirty minutes, and never asked if I needed help. When I asked where my order was, the girl who took my order said, I dont remember you. Are you kidding!? Either shes brain dead, or I was waiting so long they forgot who I was. No offer for a refund or even an apology.I was making it a habit to go there regularly, usually when theyre not busy (10-11 am), and never once did I get the impression they even knew who I was.Such a shame. Seemed like a cool place to get a coffee...The icing on the cake was when I came out to my truck to find a $25 parking ticket! What a day Ill tell you. Lol...Either way, Im now going to Bold Bean and the coffee and service is on a whole nother level... Amazing to say the least.Id recommend others stay away too... Its not worth the hassle or dealing with the crummy surrounding anyways.Hes my beverage from Bold Bean today... I guess this is a blessing is disguise?
