Midas is one of the last really good oil change/repair spots in town, they are always honest and work fast. The prices here are affordable and the staff is great! They do a full car inspection for free when you get an oil change, I pay 24.99 and it saves me so much time and effort instead of changing it myself. They have a nice waiting area inside and the TV inside is great to pass the time. I trust my my car with these people and they’ve never let me down.

Went there for a quote for my brakes and they quoted me a $1,000 repair which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. I went next door to TirePlus for the same exact quote inspection just for them to tell me my brakes were in very good condition and just needed a thorough cleanup. I was quoted less than $300 for the repairing of my brakes & battery ALTOGETHER!, which I thought was a pretty good deal. Don’t come to Midas, they will try to pull a “fast” one on you, especially if you’re a female. Go to TirePlus instead for cheaper and accurate services.

Definitely tries to get over on females. Im sorry im a certified mechanic and I would never pay 150 dollars for an oil change... tried to up charge me from what I wanted, and refused to give me what I wanted. This is why we need more females in the field.

I booked an appt for my ac to be fixed ahead of time. They stated that everything would be good to go they could get it completed in the time I needed it to be done. But the day of I call they said one of their employees had to go to the er... then when I get there said no part was ever even ordered.. it couldn’t be done that day. So no ac for me. Abby was super rude disrespectful and had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. She literally had a smug look on her face and walked away from me. The new manager there supposedly ordered me the part and would be in contact with me. I called corporate as well this is unacceptable.

Customer service was good! Prices was pretty high. I was told for my brake job that to OEM and replace to of my front rotors they was $300and some change. So my bill would have been $1,100 ruffly. So I figured that was a little on the high side so I go to the dealership instead, figuring if I was going to pay that much I’m going to get a second opinion and just have the dealership do it. Well the dealership suggested the same thing as this Midas location, the price was for the dealer to use OEM parts and perform the same work was $620 out the door. Each rotor being $180 bucks. Like I said, I received great customer service while I was there but Midas needs to compete with there prices a little better. Never thought I’d save almost $500 bucks taking it to the dealership.

Tony Ortiz (Service Manager), was very helpful over the phone before coming in. Once I got there; the same very helpful, professional & understanding for my needs. Shawn (Mechanic) also very helpful that did the work & also wanted me to come back to check next week to make sure things with my car will stay “A” ok. Most places are not courteous & care about your well being after. Definitely recommend 🥰

Good service, fair pricing and costumer service was spot on. We had two cars fixed there....a honda and a toyota.

Today I stopped by to check my tire pressure since the light in my mini van came on. I was provided with excellent service. Tony the manager and Duke went above and beyond to help me. Not only did they pump up my tires, they checked everything over and went the extra mile to take care of my van. Thank you.

Staff was friendly. I went for a tune up and they insisted a distributor was neccessary to stop my car from firing back. I agreed and my car fired back the same day i left the lot. Took it back and suddenly they are saying my fuel lines have been tampered with by a previous person before bringing it to Midas. Oddly enough they didnt mention that before. My vehicle is still backfiring a week later. They literally only test drove it in the tiny parking lot.

They pulled my car in right away as i pulled up loved it. They were patient with me. I feel as iff the inspection was not as complete as it could have been. Wonderful customer service though

Ive been here a few times for oil changes and always had a positive experience, but this last visit left a bad taste in my mouth. Apparently the manager is willing to give certain people lower rates on oil changes... Ive always been charged $29, which is the price on their sign. But my husband walked in (I was with him so watched it all happen), and the manager said he would do it for $19. No special sale going on... just gave my husband a lower price because he felt like it. I dont like to think that this is the case in 2020, but women are treated differently than men here. On the same day, when my husband entered the office, there was a woman standing in front of him in line, and the manager totally ignored her and asked my husband what he needed... and my husband pointed out that he was ignoring the woman right in front of him! I wont be giving them my business anymore.

I would say if you have anywhere else you can go for an oil change you should go there. I went here the other day and first the price I was told voer the phone for a synthetic oil change turned out not to be accurate . Mind you I only went here because of the deal I thought they had . I made an appointment but still had to wait 1.5 hours for my car. I then found out later that day, after bringing my car to a trusted autobody shop that I go to for repairs, that they did a horrible job. The shop I went to said it was so bad they even called to tell the management at midas how bad it was. They said the oil was everywhere ! It was so bad they thought I had an oil leak which was not the case. They stated some other issues with it as well and now I know I would never have them lay a hand on my car. So if you are desperate go to them, other wise please take you car elsewhere.

I always come to midas for my oil changes and they are always nice and do a great job! Recently I had a bigger job done to fix my axles on my Honda they offered me a great price and completed the work in reasonable time. My car is now driving good.

Service was great. Staff were courteous, and informative and did the work relatively quickly.

Took my truck in to have an exhaust leak fixed. They were able to determine the leak was being caused by a broken manifold bolt. As they worked on removing the manifold more bolts snapped so they had to be drilled out. I will say the professionalism and quality of work has won these guys the place of my go-to mechanics. Its very difficult to impress me but somehow they managed to pull it off. I have told everyone to take there car/truck here for any work they need done.

Oh I got my oil changed there two days ago. The oil change included a tire rotation so the price was a good price for the service that I was getting. After the service was done and I was checking out I verified with the service manager that my tires were rotated and made sure my brakes looked good. He assured me tires were rotated and the brakes look fine. I got home later that night and noticed that my front tires we’re still the same rims with heavy brake dust in my back tires were still verylightly covered in brake dust. So they actually did not rotate my tires. Now two days later my brakes are making a grinding noise so clearly they didn’t check my brakes either. This lack of attention to detail and apparent misleading it’s not something that I look for in a mechanic. I don’t think I will go back

I decided to give Midas a try a month ago. Everything seemed fine. Until yesterday I get off work and drive my car and it cuts off. I started to hear a ticking noise and was confused. I decided to check everything under the hood. When I pull my dip stick out I notice the broke it and never once said they broke it off. Had to wait a little then drive my car to the nearest auto parts store. They struggles for minutesss trying to remove the oil cap on engine it was so tightly put on. They had to use pliers and all to even get it off. Finally they took it off after struggling. What I don’t understand is why would they put it on so tight knowing I’m a woman and what if I had to put more oil. I feel like for me to be a woman they did what they wanted to do and not cared about down the line. And if I had a oil leak and they seen it and didn’t tell me I’m going to be very livid once I get to the business. As a business don’t mess people over and have them come back spending more money because of issues they could be causing.

I will never in my life go to this place. I went to get my car checked and fixed. They did my catalytic converter and my brakes and when I left the brakes were good for 2 days and started squealing again. I went back 3x to tell them to fix it and the guy kept saying it’s nothing wrong. I have went 6 weeks with bad breaks and now they’re saying I have to pay for the brakes and the labor to be done. They have my word I won’t go back there EVER again. This isn’t how you treat customers. They are quick to get your money but are horrible at making sure your services are done correctly. Don’t ever go to this location. I’m begging you not to.

Honesty is the most important quality about any car shop, I immediately lose all respect for a shop when they start telling me I need something done that I know I dont. This shop was extremely honest and didnt try to sell me anything I dont need. They gave me advice on how I could solve my problem even if it meant I wouldnt require their services. I will definitely be returning to this shop for future repairs.

Honestly the only place I trust with my car. The people who work there will always be honest with what is going on. If you are a person who has absolutely no idea about any type of car maintenance, these guys (especially Benji) will answer any questions and give you their best advice. I 100% recommend coming to this repair shop!!

The gentleman at the counter warned me that it would be at least a couple of hours. I didnt have anything else going on, so that was fine. My car was ready to go about an hour later, at the most. While I was there, I witnessed several moments in which staff went the extra mile to provide good customer service.

Took my car to get my fuel pump replaced before going out of town, choose Midas because they gave me the best quote for $698 went back to pick my car up everything seemed okay I was happy the noise was gone . Later that evening went to gas station to pump gas. I heard something dripping looked under and gas was leaking all through the bottom. Im upset and I had my wife and kids in the car. By then nothing can be done because they are closed and the next day as well because of Thanksgiving. So my family is stuck at home for 2 days with no car because of these people and our Thanksgiving is ruined.

I went there to fix my brakes, time belt and replace tires. The service was excellent! I got my brakes and time belt fixed quickly and they explained clearly all the process. They also told me I didnt need to change tires yet, good honest advice, Ill be coming back.

I went in to have my exhaust system secured, as it had come loose and was hanging very low. Other issues with the system were discovered as a result. Not only did they offer to collect quotes to help find the best price, they secured it as best they could for free to help make it safer and buy us a little time while we work out the details of the repair. We have been through A LOT the past two months (all of which they were unaware of), and this was an incredible gift that means so much more than they know!

A little slow, but they got it right and the price was reasonable.

Got there at 10:40 am they took my car. Walked to waffle house which they recommended, had a good breakfast. Walked back at 11 am and they had finished the oil change. No long wait and no long list of imaginary issues with my car.

I drive a 78 Camaro and it is hard to find someone who can do a frontend alignment correctly using steel shims. For the first time is years my car drives straight down the road. Good job to Bobby and his manager.

Researched muffler prices prior to bringing my 89 Jeep Wrangler in. Prices ranged between $30-$100. Brought it in and they wanted to charge me $361.44 without labor. With labor $526.44. I could replace entire exhaust system for that price. Midas lost my business forever.In addition, when i called this location when they did not call me, they would answer the phone and hang up multiple times. Had to call Sean at Beach Blvd location to tell them to contact me.

I called and was quoted by The manager Benji.. it will take1.5 to do a tune up.. Once i told him I had my own parts. He then changed it to2.5 hours and added an extra$115 to just labor.. Sad

Excellent service at this location. Cruz took care of me. The dealer wanted to charge me over $700 for parts I didnt even need and couldnt explain to me why I needed them, repeating the same message over and over.

They got me in and out. Gave me new back brakes at no cost because they felt they were unsafe to drive on!

12/19 Unfinished work and disappointedToday at Midas on Atlantic Blvd in Jacksonville, FL I bought 4 tires, 3yr alignment, rear struts, and an oil change. The repairs were costly, the results unfortunately for me substandard and choice of Midas shop regretful.Once the work was completed I drive my car and begin to hear rattling from the rear end of my car. The struts were installed poorly and the backseat was improperly reinstalled. The parts to hold my backseat in place were broken and Midas had to order the parts from Acura to fix my backseat.02/20 Still unfinished, disappointed, found dishonestI go to Midas and ask them to replace the struts on the rear end of my car, due to a consult with another well-known auto repairs merchants I find out that the first attempt at replacing the struts were done poorly and that is why the rear-end made noises as I drove when turning corners and even going over speed bumps. I go to Midas to fix it. I’m told to come in at 7:30a and my car would be ready. A call from Midas with many excuses as to why my car isn’t ready(non-mechanical) a Lyft home and my car still at Midas overnight I’m still waiting on a call from Midas that they have fixed my car. I encourage you if you’ve read this to think twice before allowing this Midas merchant to service your vehicle.All the Best.- Mary N.

I have been to the Atlantic Blvd store three times and each time I had above average service. I had oil service, mufflers swapped BORLAS on a Corvette and they know what they are doing and do it with a smile.I have to give a shout out to KEVIN, he makes sure the job is done right.Most of you Corvette guys hate the dealership, I highly recommend this shop Kevin owns a Z and will help you out.

Do not take you car here for oil change. Will damage it and then say there is no damage. I had to take my car to the dealership and get repaired and get a detailed report of what was damaged and what needed to be replaced, and yet the staff here refuses to acknowledge their mistake. A huge mistake to trust local shop and promote business. The one star is because I had to rate something. Dave at the shop is a sweetheart but the manager and owner wont be helpful. Save yourself trouble and go elsewhere.

Ive been coming here to this location for 12 years. Theyve never tried to scam me or sell me crap I dont need. When I had brake issues with their lifetime brakes they fixed it until it was right. Ill keep coming here. I just wish turnover wasnt so high.

If you could I would have given it no stars at all. I have been using this Midas for at least 3 years and you would think you would have built some type of relationship. But after completely destroying a simple oil change by not putting on a seal on correctly. I was taking a trip the very next day to Port St. Lucie and only made it to Coco Beach before my oil light came on. So I stopped at a gas station to check and I was completely out of oil (bone dry). So I purchased oil from the station. By the was this was a Sunday morning. Luckily there was Walmart near by about 5 miles or so. The service center there had a 2-3 Hrs wait time. After receiving another oil change and cleaning the under-carriage the spring trainning game we were heading to in Port St. Lucie had already started and we were about 1-2 hrs out. Day ruined by then.So the very next day. I took all my receipts back and talked to a manager. After telling me that he would have to submit this to corporate and the only thing they could do is possibly refund my oil change but it would take a few days and possibly a week. So I asked him about the tickets to the game, extra oil purched, cleaning of my car that was completely covered in oil from rear side panel, trunk, back window and entire under-carriage. He did t want to hear that. So I got upset and said maybe I need to speak to a Lawyer. Wrong answer because he took my papers shoved them at me and told me he was done. So I went to my car, set there for a second. Went back inside to ask him his name, he took his business card and threw it at me and told me to leave his store. There were 2 customers inside watching all of this and one told the manager that was very nasty how he was treating me. I immediately called customer service left my complaint. The very next day the owner (Its franchise owned) called and offered a free oil change at another location he owned. I refused and just asked for a refund of my oil change and was denied.

They have great prices, are educated on cars, repair options and parts, and have a friendly staff. Defiantly recommend it!!

Whatever you do dont trust the midas touch. I brought my in on 8/26 under my warranty to get the ac fixed they found something wrong with the cv axle when i came to pick my car up they told me its not ready .They never put the lug nuts back on the wheel when they went to test drive the wheel fell off and they wrecked my car. Midas didnt even want to give me a rental, said there is no paperwork to give me when i asked, did the bare minimum to repair my car and the paint is chipped on my hood where the damage is now i got to bring it back

They broke my girlfriends fathers door handle and then proceeded to ACTUALLY say “this models parts are actually made to break easily” and then try to charge him $230 for the part and labor!!! DO NOT GO HERE.

It took this shop 4 hours to replace my valve cover gasket. They claimed that they dont have the parts even though I call 1 hour in advance. Technicians sit around doing nothing. They told me the price would be $120 based on a printed quote but the actual price come out to be $170 due to miscellaneous and shop supply charges. Never will go back.

So i had taken my Toyota Camry in to replace the belt because it was squealing. I paid for the services and drove it the next 2 days without any issues. Then again it started squealing, so i took it back again without telling them that i was there earlier and had already paid them to replace it. I just asked them to find out why it was squealing because i wanted to see what they would say. They called me and told me that i needed to replace my belt because it was cracked and worn out. I wish i could have seen the guys face cause his voice just sounded like he was stunned. While stuttering to answer my response he told me they would take care of it. I would not suggest them at all.
