Ive been going to JJs for about seven years, before they were on Beach Blvd. Theyve taken care of all my vehicles. This latest was replacing the water pump, a plethora of seals, and my timing belt. I have a 1996 Explorer V8. After looking for something I could buy new to replace it I finally decided I would rather just keep the Explorer. Its been pretty much trouble free for 25 years and there is nothing to indicate that is going to change any time soon. I took it to JJs auto care with instructions to pretty much inspect it an fix what needed to be fixed. After about $1500 in repairs it drives so much better. They showed me all of the parts and hoses they replaced. Most of the parts were the original 25 year old parts. They did a great job and Ill be happy to have them as my go to mechanics to keep my 25 year old vehicle going for a few more years.

They are awesome. Everytime there is a problem I can call and they take care of it. Never had a problem and they go above and beyond to help. Highly recommended

Honestly the best and quickest car repair I’ve ever been through! I needed to desperately replace the brakes and rotors on my Chevy Malibu, I called for an estimate (spoke with Ralph), and asked to book an appointment for the next day, he told me if I bring my car in as soon as they’d open and I left it for the day they’d fit me in. I wasn’t expecting for me to get my car back until the next day but they had it done in four hours! Not to mention they charged me half the price the Chevy dealership was going to charge me. Needless to say I will definitely be going back, they were very professional, personable, and honest!

JJ and his guys are phenominal!!! They are my business neighbors and my battery died in my car in my parking lot. I went over and asked if they had jumper cables and JJ had Juan come over with the jump box and I was back up and running. Juan even fixed a part on the battery for me. JJ and his guys have always been very helpful since I became General Manager here at CubeSmart back in September 2019 on numerious occasions. There are very nice men that work here!! I love the way they do business and are not pushy whatsoever. The inspection on your vehicle that they send to you, which is fantastic, gives you the option to get done what they find may need to be done or not. They keep in touch with and are readily available for you at all times. The shop office and waiting area is unbelievably clean and smells very good. I will be taking our vehicles there from here on out. The location is right off of 295 on Beach so it is conveniently located. We also knocked off our brush guard on the concrete stopper and they gladly came out and did a quick fix for us without bother. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work.

They don’t install parts they don’t sell!!! What kind of mechanic shop is this you should be willing to help anybody fix there vehicle not only what you sell people that tells me y’all worry about nothing but money. Very sad I will spread the word about poor customer service

Really good service. Waiting area is sparkling clean, smells nice, lovely well decorated clean and fresh bathroom, snacks and a variety of soft drinks and a TV. No up selling and actually didnt replace a part after they saw that what I had was serviceable, even after ordering the part (I figure they just return it, but either way...) I wasnt over charged and I walked away with a purring car.

Nice shop and courteous professional service. Only comment I have is I recommend they place the manufacturer part number and name on all parts installed. Aside from that we are extremely pleased at how nice our Lexus rides!Won’t think twice to come back.

Kia Southside said my engine was Leaking oil from the alternator and had ruined the motor at a cost of $4000+ to have it fixed after having it for 6 weeks.Not believing that nonsense, I decided to take my car over to JJ as everyone in town told me Go to JJs, Theyll get you right, So I had it towed to him. Within a few days, Charles calls me to pick my brain as what kia is saying and what he was looking at was not adding up. He was able to diagnose it down to just a bad alternator at a very reasonable cost 680 on a 2015 Sorento.If you ever have doubts or dont trust mechanics, you can trust the guys at JJs to make sure to not charge/pressure you for a bunch of BS you dont need while still getting the professional recommendations. Ill definitely be bringing my vehicles back to JJs.

In late December my car started having issues so I took my car here. Unfortunately within 2 weeks of each other both of my grandparents passed away and I was given a ton of things to do and was really having a hard time. I fell into a bad place. I had not picked up my car yet. I called finally in March to talk to them about my vehicle. They informed me the exhaust had been STOLEN out of my car and that it was now going to be 1700 to get my car back. After explaining everything I had been through. Okay fine, so I am trying to pull the money together. While im doing that JJ applied for the title of MY car while I have been communicating with them. So they tell me I have to wait until he gets the title then I can get my car. That took a month. When they finally had the title of my vehicle he calls me and goes yea now its going to be 3k for the car. They were trying to sell me my car back... despite communication. I said there is no way I can get that right now but im going to do my best. A week ago I messaged them saying hey im pulling it together give me a little, they said okay. I called today and they have sold my car. I reached out to an attorney and am going to continue to make it known. Honestly at the lowest point in my life and I was played. They kept increasing the cost until I couldnt afford it and then sold my car. Despicable. Nobody called me to tell me it was happening, nothing. I had reached out today to say hey Ive got the money but it was too late. Steer clear of people like this. They care nothing about you.

I live in Kansas City and my daughter was in need of car repairs in Jacksonville. I went to google and found this company. I called and told them I needed this car to be road ready so we could drive it back to Kansas City. I am happy to report that we drove the car home without any incident after JJs repaired it. My daughter met someone there that said they had been going to this business for 20 years. She also said this was a clean facility and everyone was very nice to her. I appreciate the good work that they did and the way they treated my daughter.

This shop is great and extremely professional. I have three cars they work on, never had an issue with their repair work until last week and how they addressed it truly stands for how good they are about customer service. when I came back to share how the work they performed could possibly be a mistake, they did not even question it and completed the additional work free of charge and all they cared about was that I was happy.Lets be honest, mistakes happen in every business and how many times do you feel like the service company either tries to blame something else or not own up to a problem? NOT HERE! They took ownership, fixed the problem in a very timely manner, did not even make me sign a service form or anything ... they just fixed the issue with a smile on their face. This is exactly how a reputable business should work and they exceeded my expectations. I cannot say enough good things about this team and work they do.BTW -- until JJs, I only used dealerships for auto repair and paid the HIGH repair fees as I did not trust smaller repair centers ... This place you can trust AND save money on your repairs..

JJs Auto Care did a great job on both my car and my wifes car at a competitive service rates. The show room is modern and clean and fully stocked with drinks and snacks and large screen TV. The facility is clean and inviting. The environment is very comparable to luxury dealerships. The guys communicated promptly and everything was on time. I highly recommend their services for all scheduled maintenance and repairs.

This is your honest work mechanic.You bring your vehicle in. they tell you what is wrong and give you a very fair pricing. they will not undercut themselves. because they offe warranty on all their work. I dont have to use JJ often but when they are needed. I can drop my car worry free that no new charges will come up without then letting me know.

Out of all of the car maintenance shops I have had service done JJ Auto is the best in town. They dont play the game of growth work to get more money from the customer. They are honest and professional, it doesnt matter who you are. They give all their customer the same service.

By far this was the best automotive repair experience I have had. The team was very informative and they lived up to their word. The repair turned out to be much more complex than anticipated, but they still honored their price. I don’t know of anyone that would do that. From now on, all my vehicles will be serviced by them and I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone else.

JJs auto care is God sent!! My car had been giving me trouble and I had to get a jump every 3 weeks out of no where. I took it to ORileys and found out that I had a bad alternator and a bad battery in a 2015 Sonata with 68,000 miles!! Whats the chances of that?? I called Hyundai dealership on Atlantic Blvd and on Southside and the customer service was terrible. No one ever answered the phone. I then did a quick google search and found JJs. I spoke with Mr. Charles and let him know what was going on with my car. He was genuinely concerned, very professional, and very friendly. To make a long story short, it was a simple problem concerning my battery not being all the way connected to my terminal. He didnt even charge to look at my vehicle! I definitely will be back for oil changes and any other problems I may have with my car. No more going to the dealership for me! Thank you so much Mr. Charles and thank you to the JJs auto care team!!

One of the hardest thing to find with car mechanics is honesty and some of the most honest and nicest people work here. I worked with Charles mostly and he made everything so easy and was always honest!! Other places would quote me for stuff I did not require and this guy would never put me through that. Always felt worry free when the car was in their hands. This is the best place to go if you have a car problem or even an oil change.

Now I have a Nissan Altima, and when I took it to the dealership for a recall, I was told I needed brake service. I decided to take it to JJ’s for a second opinion, actually, the only opinion I trust. Turns out my car did not need the service recommended by the dealership (surprise! gasp!). I completely recommend this shop. Also, Charles, Ralph and JJ are all very friendly.

Took my Camry in for an electric/airbag recalibration issue. Less than 30 minutes after dropping it off shop admitted they wouldnt be comfortable working on it and waived the diagnostic fee (specifically they explained they could work with another shop). They were honest, clear in their explanations, and maintained a low pressure environment, which is exactly what I look for in a mechanic. Will return if I have a different issue in the future.

I have brought my 1993 300zx to JJs on several occasions and each time the staff was friendly and helpful. They dont try to sell you parts and services that you dont need, and they do quality work. Kinda too overly priced. After they worked on our truck we had a new noise starting. They did properly fix our power steering but something else sounded like it was either loose or coming out, something that we didn’t hear before. Until after they fixed our car.

This is the only place I take my car that is an older Lexus. I have been here several times and they always been able to find out what is wrong and to explain it and take care of it for me. I took a 2002 Avalon to JJs which was misfiring on cylinders 1, 3, 5. I knew the issue was something with the VVT but didnt know what exactly. They quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed at a very reasonable price on the same day. It runs like a champion again.
