I went in there looking for a head unit with navigation and the person in front was really helpful they had really good prices and then when i wanted to buy it he said that due to microchip manufacturers have a shortage that if I wanted to buy it I would have to have them install it which was like another $200 and in my opinion thats kind of taking advantage so to speak they should offer like include the price of installation and then just offer the free installation goes down a whole lot better. Like I said everything was cool up until the point where I couldnt just buy it without paying them more money.

Got my tints done on my new car here, and the end result looks great! The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable, and made sure I understood how to properly take care of my tints until they fully dried. I started out just going in with a lot of questions, they were all very happy to help, even when I didnt buy anything. After I was convinced they were good people I have had all of my work dont there. I have had Subs and Amps put in two trucks, a head unit put in a jeep and my windows tinted. The staff was professional and I actually had a good time while waiting on my truck. Between the waiting area and the staff, the atmosphere was great. Fast, friendly and fairly priced. Brought my own radio to them to get installed as a walk in 2 minutes later they were already installing it. Install took about 45 minutes at most but felt like I was only there for 5 minutes. They don’t leave you to sit around and play with your thumbs. Recommend this place for sure

Have used these guys twice, over 6 years apart for tint, sound and some custom work (on brand new Nissan NV vans... the second due to the first being wrecked) and they have been top notch installers and havent tried to sell us more than we needed. They are timely, affordable, respectful, and professional. Though we werent the high end customer, they were accommodating and helpful, knowing we had a large family and a challenging schedule to work around. Thanks guys.

Outstanding quality and service

I purposely waited a month to put a review on the tint job I got on my Subaru WRX, the tint looks as good as the day they put it on, amazing work I highly recommend! They do a good job advising what each tint level does as well!

Not much help at all, recently took my conversion van because I wanted to change out DVD player and upgrade TV in it. They didn’t even bother to come out and look they said their installer doesn’t like working on conversion vans because they are to complicated. So if you need an easy job I guess they can do it ? But if it takes work don’t bother with them . Went to ONSLOW AUDIO and they came out looked at it and helped answer all my questions. I recommend them any day over these guys.

Edit:. I returned for some work on my other car and once again these guys did a great job. I overheard a bunch of customers on the phone and walk ins, and it seems like the ones that had issues wanted the world for nothing or tried to find a way to cut corners or fix mistakes others did on their vehicles but didnt want to pay to have it done right. They were straight up with everyone that came in while I was there, including myself and made an honest effort to work with the customers. After two trips for work on 2 vehicles I stand by my earlier review saying they are a great shop. The staff was real, which I guess some could interpret as being unprofessional, but they seem like a bunch of regular guys that are good at what they do and want to do it right and not cut corners (they tell it how it is)...which is definitely the way to go and what I expect from a shop. Not meant as a knock on anyone, just my observation.Great experience and they were really friendly and more importantly knowledgeable. A couple reviews had me a little worried but I can say they were straight up, pricing was fair, and they did a good clean install. After going there and then re-reading the questionable reviews after my experience I feel safe saying its ok to go with this shop for sure. I do most of my work myself because I had some bad experiences before, but honestly it was too cold for me to feel like messing with an install now so I rolled the dice. I have no complaints here with these guys. Good job! I finally got trust back in shops...well just this one for now.

Nick and the crew at Street Sounds did an amazing job on the sound system in my Jeep. I had been to another shop in the past and was very disappointed with the result. I went in to get tint and inquire about a stereo system about a month ago. They tinted my suburban very quick and they answered all my questions about stereos. They’re ok in my book

I would not recommend street sounds ive had nothing but issues with my install since the did it and they gave me to small power wire so when it works it melts the wire so i have to re strip the wire everytime it goes out

The guys there are friendly but seem like a lot of places in Jacksonville, just out to grab some military coin . Dude was knowledgeable but used that as an edge to try and convince me to get a job done there that would end up costing about double what I was getting it done for elsewhere. Shop was clean. Overall I just went in for one simple plastic part and ended up trying to be sold a whole sound system . Nature of the beast around here

I love this place. they dont blind side you either. they are up front about everything and if anything goes wrong in the future they figure it out and provide great service to fix it. plus the people are great AND knowledgeable. i wouldnt trust anyone else with my system.

I purchased a sub and a deck from these guys, usually I do my own but the new car I got had too many extras attached, so these guys did the whole hook up for me. Everyone was really nice and informative. I had a small issue with the sound coming from the deck, I came back the next day and they replaced a factory harness for me at no cost. They were honest, quick, and reasonably priced. In fact just sent my husband over for some tint. I recommend.

Street Sounds is hands down the only place in Jacksonville Ill take my car for audio, tint, alarm system, etc. They have done plenty of work with my car. I trust these people with my car. Staff is always personable, always up to date on the latest audio equipment. They are always stocked with up to date equipment as well. I have YET to walk out of streets sounds unhappy. I have had people ask where I got my sound system from and I always brag on street sounds. They have taken care of my car every time Ive had them work on it. They will always do what they can to make sure you get the best deal and the proper equipment for your vehicle or setup.

You pay for quality and this place gives quality. The only place I trust with my vehicle and audio systems. I always will recommend this place. I never have problems and always have options for what is best in my vehicle. Great place and great staff

Since finding this place. I wont let anyone else touch my stereo system. They are fair with prices and do a fantastic jobs! They gentlemen have handle any issues I have had, and made sure everything was always right by me. There is no way in hell I would take my stuff any where else now. Had my windows tinted by these guys. They were knowledgeable and informative when it came to the difficult task of tinting a 90s camaro with a giant rear hatch there work was top notch and they had it done in 2 hrs they were reasonably priced and hooked me up with a browser across the wind shield

Got a tint strip done to the Legal limit on my windshield, was deceived with how low they were going to put on my tint! Then they would only give me a refund if they DIDN’T take off the tint! They wouldn’t take off their mistake! Also, got tint done around the car and there was Discrepancies in the tint (peeling and marks) and told me it wasn’t covered by the warranty a week later! Would advise you to find somewhere else to go!

Went In to get a rate and DJ hooked me up with a solid price! I asked for a new dash radio and subs for my Nissan Titan. Sounds super good they got it done fast af! Like 2hrs max with like10 guys I front of me. Highly recommend them, they are very professional highly recommend them to anyone!

I went there to tint my windows on my 4-door car. At first, they quoted me $260 for all 5 windows plus a banner but I asked them if they could match the price of another vendor and they left me the price at $230. They did it the day that I went, and they did a good job. They also gave me a 5-year warranty and told me if any things wrong to go back and theyll fix it. The only thing is they told me that it would take 2 to 2 and a half hours and it took about 3 so my wife and I were just sitting there waiting. Overall, it wasnt a bad experience.

I 100% recommend going here for audio work. So my subs were cutting in and out and Dj and the installer hooked me up big time. They also went the extra mile to fix other minor problems with no charge, not only that but I showed up 30 mins before they close (Yes I am aware that is frowned upon) and they were not like come back tomorrow and we will fix it they stayed open a extra 2 hrs and fixed my subs and the other minor things. Extremely professional attitudes they also ran me though everything that was having issues and literally showed me it was messed up rather then just fixing it and charging me. I am extremely doubtful that any place would have stayed open this long after close and was this honest. Dj and the installer will help you out and hook you up, extremely honest people.

My friend goes there religiously, LOL then comes crying to me! you think hed learn. I try not to even drive by the place. I witness them take 45 minutes to explain a back-up camera to a customer. WOW!

I have had mutiple cars done here & called today to get a quote on window tint and spoke with the manager and he was VERY rude..quoted me one price on the phone and hung up before I could say anything. Then when I went into the shop & he yelled at me leaving that shop quoting me a DIFFERENT price. So not only have I been lied to, I’ve been hung up on and had to deal with a jerk when I’ve tried to be nothing but nice. So needless to say I won’t be recommending them to anyone else and I certainly won’t be spending another dime there!

Absolutely terrible company, very disappointingI went there the other day for change radio on my Toyota. Price was $500 for radio and labor.And I asked him how much the labor & He said $125. I took the pic the radio that he will use on my car. It was $178 on Walmart. Please do Math! Over price shop ever !!!

If your smart, these guys are great. If youre not very knowledgeable like I was when I first got to Jville, these guys have no problem screwing you over financially. I had originally gone in to get a bad a** sound system in my 1999 Miata. I didnt really have the money for what they offered me but they told me they could set me up with a payment plan. I got 2 Memphis shallow-mount subs and a 500 wat amp. The also convinced me to get window tint and an alarm system and it would only cost me $100 a month. What I didnt know was that I was really getting a $2000 loan at %35.5 interest from pioneer loans.The quality of their work was great and they got everything done in about 2 hours. Also, thanks to these guys, I now know how to not get screwed over. but I wont ever be going back or recommending them.

Rip off!!!! Charged 1300 for 2 12 and wasnt even hooked up right, it worked but when took it to a real audio place which is Onslow Audio and they sold me a 12 thats louder then the 2 12s from street sound. Onslow charged 800 for one 12 thats a 500 dollar difference for louder speaker and they even fixed the wiring that street sound messed up. Best bet is to go to Onslow audio for the better deal and hooked up right!

Told them Id buy amp said give credit card to them and he said he run by owner and then I waited for couple days to hear from them and mysteriously amp sold when I call and ask about amp to see when they were shipping it to me and all Id asked was a simple phone call to say amp is sold
