Not sure how this location is so highly rated. I came in for a simple patch on my tire, I ended up having to order a new tire at this location before being offered a 255 size tire as a replacement to my 245. I took my car home and found a plastic sleeve with another customers information sitting on my engine under my hood. When I returned to have the new tire installed, I requested a tire rotation. When I returned to pick up my vehicle the tire rotation had not been done although being stated on the invoice. The best they could offer was 50% off an $18 tire balance for leaving paperwork under my hood and not rotating my tires. I could also hear my vehicle being revved by one of the mechanics instead of simply pulling out of the parking space and into one of their bays. I won’t trust my vehicle at this location again.

Brand new vehicle, less than 200 miles on it and got a nail in the tire. Dealership would not do anything, and this was my go to place for all tire needs in the past. plus it being close to work is always a positive. Rolled in there a little before noon time today, was done by 1245. They installed a plug/patch and the tire was as good as new. They are wonderful to deal with as always, this is why I will be coming back for more than just tires in the near future. Thanks guys!

I took my car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation, as I do every 5,000 miles. I also asked for a front end alignment. One of the managers called me and said they could not do the front end alignment because the control arms are worn and need to be replaced, and that I also need 4 new tires because of how theyre wearing. I explained that my tires are only 3 yrs. old, and I didnt see how I needed new tires already. I asked him for a price for the control arms to be replaced, just so I could have an estimate.I decided to get a second opinion, as suggested by a couple people that I know, so I took it to my nearby Hyundai dealership to get the front end alignment. They completed the front end alignment and explained that no problems were found. I explained to the service rep. what Mavis had told me and he said the technicians check for other issues and if anything had been found, they would have mentioned it on the service report.I have been coming to Mavis for oil changes and tire rotations since I purchased my tires 3 yrs. ago from Sun Tire, and I am very upset that your service center would try to take advantage of me like this. Im guessing they think because I am a woman that I wouldnt know any better. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Me and my significant other have used this location multiple times and have never been let down. Great staff and service. I have AAA discount and the choice to use AAA locations but nothing compares to this Mavis location. Malik is very professional and on top of each job and thoroughly double checks the order and vehicle. Finally nice to have a place that is trusting and actually cares about the services they offer.

Abraham over at Mavis Tires off of Touchton Road took great care of my Mazda. I was a walk in and he got me in and out in just under an hour. Highly recommend swinging by if your car needs an oil change or other work done.

Got my oil changed at Mavis Tires & Brakes here on Touchton Rd, it took a lot longer than expected due to low staff and a full garage but Malik kept me up to date and was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Will come back here again!

I always used these guys for any work that needs to be done on my car. I have never seen any shop that has been as fair as these guys. The really know how to run a business. Dan is always extremely friendly and professional.I once took my girlfriend’s car there with a list of fixes needed on her car with the costs given to us by another auto shop. They told us they could do all those fixes for a little cheaper, so we told them to go ahead and do it. It would have cost a few hundred dollars.After leaving it there for a few hours, they told us that there was nothing actually needed to be replaced or fixed. Dan lifted the hood and explained to me why everything the other shop was claiming needed to be fixed was just fine.They didn’t charge us a cent for checking on everything. These guys could have just replaced everything we told them and collected their money, but they run a truly honest business.I highly recommend.

I had a confirmed installation appointment of 9am at the closest Mavis shop. Arrived there at 8:40am. The guy behind the counter was eating and could hardly be understood.After swallowing he told me that the tires I ordered wouldnt be there till after noon. I asked Then why would you make a 9am appointment?No answer.Why wouldnt you contact me to arrange a different time?No answer.So I left. Have an appointment with Pep Boys at 11 for a new set of tires.Will never do any business with Mavis.

They explained everything that was happening with my vehicle, and what needed to be corrected. I feel I was treated honestly, and courteously. I will return for any other issues with my car. I pulled in with a hole in my tire that I hoped it was repairable. Not wanting to spend money on a new tire, I walked in and hoping for the best. The gentleman at the counter advised that he had a full schedule but if I could wait, he would be able to work me in. I was surprised by this and agreed to wait. The gentlemen in the rear took my car around back and much less time than I was expecting he had fixed my small hole and was back with my car. These guys are a pleasure and will continue to business with them for years to come

I had come here back in February to buy new tires for my suv. The guys here had done such a great job and were so helpful (they even let me bring my dog into the shop when my car was ready). I decided to come back for an oil change and tire rotation this morning and made an appointment for 10 am. I waited for 1.5 hours and my car was still sitting in the parking lot. I had another appointment I needed to get to so I left. Called the shop later to ask if wait times were better. I returned back to the shop around 5:45 pm and they were able to get me out in less than an hour. The biggest surprise was when the front desk handed me my receipt and wasn’t asked to pay. I thought they had my card on file from my last visit. When I got home I realized they had in fact waived my entire bill. So thank you guys!

Staff person Malik was not wearing a mask. I almost walked out but I really needed the work done on my car. The sign on the front door indicates customers should adhere to safe COVID-19 regulations. What about the staff?

Other place said it couldnt be patched and wanted $250 for 1 tire. Mavis patched it for free in 30 minutes. Nice guys and would highly recommend

I have been using this Mavis location 4 years now. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and goes the extra mile each time. The location is kept clean and one is able to comfortably wait there if they wish to do so.

Flat tire, thank goodness for the car telling me before I lost too much air. It was like 6pm and I googled tire stores near me. MOST WERE CLOSED. Luckily I found Mavis!90 miles from home, spare not up to pressure, ugh. Went to a wonderful facility in Jacksonville, Mavis Tires & Brakes, 9718 Touchton Rd. Not only did they fix the flat, they did it quickly and very economically. They checked and filled the spare too. They also found I had a cv joint boot going awry and my brake pads were getting close to replacing. All done within an hour. Nice crew and clean facility. I wish I lived closer so I could do more business with them, as would certainly love to do more business with them, I was impressed.Having been the the automotive and aircraft maintenance industries for numerous years, it was refreshing to see a good honest shop just like the ones I used to run. Great job (manager), sorry lost your business card, and your team. Keep up the good work.

Totally disappointed with the service I received today at this location. Malik at the front desk has no idea of what customer service should be or how to communicate with customers.I will never bring my car here for any services and so will my family or friends as long as he is working at that location.i have never had any issue with any of the workers there ever since the store was open.I drop my car off around 10am and was told it was going to take 2hrs to get it done. I called the store at 1:45 and Malik told me if i couldnt wait another hour then I can come get my car and take it somewhere else.I called the store and made a formal complain to one of the managers named Cody and he agreed with me about how Malik shouldnt be talking to customers like that.I hope he gets the necessary training and coaching on what customer service is all about.Malik does not need to be at the front desk or communicate to any customer because of such nasty attitude and lack of respect he demonstrate towards customers.

Although they were busy, they fit me in for 4 new tires. They kindly showed me some valid areas of concern and the new tires are balanced well.Nice to find a place that takes pride in what they do.

The employees at Mavis Discount Tire on Touchton Rd was very friendly and helpful. I found out that a screwdriver head punctured one of my tire and I had came in to see if they can remove it and patch it up for me and I had asked if they can check on my other tire as well since I’ve been noticing that it was low on pressure but I couldn’t find a nail. They were able to get my car in right away and let me know what else needed to be done in the future but also educated me on some of the things that I didn’t really know about! I will definitely be coming back

So much better than any other location in Jacksonville. I’ve been serviced at the one on Beach, University and Atlantic as well as my “FAVORITE SPOT” that’s here on Touchton Rd. A location where you are cared for and can trust them with servicing you vehicle in pure honesty. Danny, is the man with the plan, he’s a hard worker and it shows‼️Such excellent Customer Service, you just can’t help to not come back. I thought I would give this store a try. Made an appointment for 10am to have tires rotated. Walk in and first question is are you going to leave it or wait?. Tire rotation is a 10 minute job. Why would I leave it unless you were not going to work on it at the appointment time. I asked how long it would be and the reply was 20 minutes or so. There is someone ahead of you. But, I have an appointment? I take it from this that appointments are just a suggestion. Sorry but I will be taking my business elsewhere where customers, and their time, are respected.

Got a screw in my tire the day after I purchased my new car. 😢😢 Mavis was one of the only tire places open on a Sunday and I was there before they opened the doors. They got my car back, patched it, and had me out in time to get to church! Thank you Mavis Tire for a great experience.

They patched my tire after finding a nail. Didn’t just try to sell me another tire. I think I talked to Chip at the service desk, great overall customer service as well.

Mavis Tires located on Touchton Rd did an amazing job! I got a nail on my back tire and called them on a Saturday at 3pm to see if they could remove the nail and repair the tire. They told me to bring in my car that they would take care of it. I had tried three other places including tire plus and tire kingdom and nobody was willing to repair my tire because it was late on a Saturday and they were too busy. I was so glad that Mavis Tires was willing to help me. The service at Mavis Tired was extraordinary, prompt and professional. The manager Daniel called me when my car was ready for pick up and was super attentive, professional and nice. I would recommend anyone to get their car service needs at Mavis Tires. Had a reservation at 4:00 for a wheel alignment and tire rotation. They didnt take my truck back until 5:40 then comes back 30 mins later saying I need new upper ball joints which I just replaced a couple of months ago and recommend new tires. My tires are less than a year old and have plenty of tread left on them. I know my upper ball joints are fine because I just examined them before going up there and because of that they wouldnt recommend doing the alignment or the rotation and then proceeded to sell me a bunch of stuff. I would not recommend mavis to anyone. BTW this is not the 1st time they have tried to sell me stuff I dont need

Brake switch. Like most shops, this place is busy. No appointment, so I arrived at opening. They had me in and out in less than 90 minutes. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff!

I’ve been to this location twice recently for tire repair and have had great service both times. Leonard and Daniel were professional and very helpful. I dropped my car off and told them I would pick up after work but they didn’t leave my car there to sit all day like some places do. They called within an hour and told me my repair was complete. If you need tires, a repair or just an oil change these guys are the best.

So I’ve come to this shop about five times or so over the past couple of years. I’ve had new tires put on, oil changes, and tire rotations. The service has always been great and they do a great job of communicating.Today was the icing on the cake! I brought it in for an alignment issue and a creaking noise. They adjusted the alignment and rotated the tires to help with a pull to the right. The alignment was out a little, but the adjustment didn’t completely fix the pulling. They spent a lot of time looking for the cause of the noise (two test drives, taking recordings and sending them to me to see if it was the noise I heard). In the end the cause of the noise was undetermined and the car still pulls a bit, but they didn’t charge me anything for the service. Daniel, the store manager, said since they couldn’t actually fix what I had brought it in for he wouldn’t charge me. This was a first for me, and I greatly appreciate the honesty shown here. I cannot recommend this shop enough. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and they’re always honest, professional, knowledgeable and have very good pricing. I’ve been there for oil changes, tires and more. I would highly recommend them to anybody and everybody! I went in for an oil change recently and unfortunately they found a nail in my tire but they were able to plug it thankfully! Went in today in the middle of the afternoon due to a screw in my tire and the front counter individual was not very friendly and seemed like I was actually bothering him. Told me before even looking it would be tomorrow before he could do anything at all except put air in my tire. He then proceeded to look at my tire and said he wouldn’t touch it without replacing it but offered nothing more than basically “sorry for your luck” we will get to you tomorrow. Did not feel valued as a customer and took my business down the street where they were happy to help and I bought four new tires and an alignment. Never be back here again.

So I picked up my car at 5:30 from Mavis and touchton they gave me such a hard time they called me around 5:10 to come pick up my car and I know they had a busy day but they charged me $350 which is not what I was quoted they said they would apply a $20 coupon and they did not and all my lights are still on and my wheel is still stiff and my speedometer still isn’t working.They changed my two back tires and did a wheel alignmentDidn’t even address all effing lights on my dashThey were complaining about how long their day was and they were ready to leaveSo they locked the door and gave me my car and shut the garage doors and when I got in my car and saw all the lights I couldn’t even go back inside.

Mavis’ staff and services are the absolute best!I had a flat tire emergency while out shopping so I called Mavis and they told me to drive over right away. Within ten minutes of realizing that my tire was losing air, I was at Mavis and they were working to fix the problem.I thought that my tire was irreparable and they could’ve easily charged me for a new tire, but Mavis was able to patch the problem, save me money and get me back in the road in under 30 minutes. The staff at Mavis is friendly, diligent and honest — traits that are rare to come by at some auto shops.I am incredibly grateful for the people at Mavis, I will continue to take my car to Mavis for all of my auto needs and I suggest that you do too!

The guys at this location are just amazing. I ordered my tires from Amazon and had them shipped here (touchton rd) not to far from my house and I’m well pleased with the service. We had a truly perfect example of excellent customer service. After loosing two lug nuts and subsequently a loose wheel we limped into Mavis Tire. This was caused by very poor service at another tire store. They shared my concern and immediately put it on the lift and checked all the other wheel lugs. I did get new lugs and they installed them and sent me on my way. This is a very clean and well run business and I recommend 100%.

This is my favorite location in Jacksonville Fl. I have had good and trusted experiences here. Daniel and the team are very helpful and professional. On two recent occasions they have gone above and beyond for me, to fix my struts and shocks which were replaced by another Mavis the day before and fixed a bent panel under my car for me. I know I can count on this team and their service. I highly recommend Mavis off Touchton!

I had an appointment at 1 for an oil change along with 2 new tires + brakes so i knew it would take a bit longer than usual so I got there at 12:30 and my car didn’t start being worked on until around 2 and I was stuck waiting until 4:45 for my car to be finished. Did not anticipate sacrificing half of my day for this and would definitely recommend not coming here unless you plan on waiting double the time that another place would take
