I was hit and ran by a car that knocked my drivers side mirror down. The dealership was trying to charge me 5x as much as San Jose Collision. San Jose Collision reassured me that they would order my mirror and have it replaced in about 30-40 minutes. Took about 4 days for the mirror to come in. My mirror is now replaced and looks brand new. They did a great job, and the price was definitely better than the dealership. Thank you guys so much. They made it a very simple process. I saw the high reviews and wondered why. Decided to use them and so happy I did! Prices are good, service and people even better and the work excellent! The high ratings and reviews are deserved.

San Jose Collision has done repair work for me a number of times in the years up through 2020. To say that the work done on those occasions was timely, was of the highest quality, and was done for a fair price would be an understatement. Suzanne, the owner of this shop, is personally involved in insuring that every customer gets their vehicle back in such a condition that (1) the vehicle meets the highest standards of cosmetic appeal, (2) the vehicle is as roadworthy as it was prior to the damage inflicted during and immediately following the accident that brought the vehicle to her shop, and (3) the vehicle is as safe, if not safer, than it was prior to the damage inflicted during and immediately following the accident that brought the vehicle to her shop. I do not believe that it is in Suzannes character to release a repaired vehicle which does not meet these standards to a customer.

Tesla recommended them to repair my Model 3. I’ve heard the horror stories regarding repair shops so I researched San Jose including reviews and state records, all which they passed with flying colors. I called and honestly they couldn’t have been any nicer. They were even more responsive than my insurance company and even organizedd the tow to pick up my car. I’ll report back once my repairs are completed but so far the only good part of my accident was the staff at San Jose, especially Susan and Sean.

After I hit a deer in my Tesla model S I had a difficult time finding a Certified Tesla body shop that could repair it. There were only two shops in Jacksonville and one of them was 4 months out. Sean and the team at San Jose collision were very honest with their time estimate and did everything they could to get the car completed as quickly as possible. They were able to get the car in, start tearing it down, and ordering parts right away. Majority of the delays was with Tesla and not sending the correct parts. There were a few issues I was concerned about but Sean was able to address those as soon as he was aware. Overall the repair was excellent and I have had no further issues. I would definitely do business with them in the future.

I’ve had two classic cars with minor repairs performed at San Jose. The work is excellent. Plus, their Advisors are very personable and efficient. I will definitely use San Jose again.

Just NO. I wanted to use a local company. Good review, recommended. I CANNOT overstate what a bad experience this has been. Had my car over three months and still needs additional work. Never followed through with a promised phone call or email. Excuses...illness, medical leave, short staffed in office...and Im not unreasonable but JUST COMMUNICATE WITH ME. Ill call you by the end of the day...nope. Ill call you in a couple hours...nope. Ill send you weekly email updates...nope. Car will be ready this afternoon or tomorrow...nope, need a different hinge. And it has to be painted. Car will be ready today or tomorrow...nope, went to install the windshield and it was cracked. Car will be ready today or tomorrow...just took it for a front end alignment.Initial estimate Feb. about $4600...submitted their most recent supplement JUST NOW to push the total over $13,000 for a car I bought used for $15,500. Picked it up two weeks ago. Windshield wiper arms were LITERALLY BACKWARDS. Interior door panel looks like they put it together by kicking it into place. The passenger door, where it all started, wont open if the window is down. They submitted a supplement four days after I picked the car up, and I assumed it was for those repairs, but they just submitted ANOTHER ONE. If, after three months, I sent a car home that was still messed up I would have ordered the parts BEFORE NOW.Im sure theyd call me Karen at this point, but Im happy to share supplements and emails and dates and details. Just BEWARE.

Have had work done by them in the past and will use them again in the future. I send friends and family here whenever they need body shop. The staff is very knowledgeable, and kind. They work fast and do things right. San Jose Collision also has honest and fair pricing for parts and labor. I have seen a little bit behind the scenes of this business and I must say Im very impressed.

I was referred to SJC by another company that was booked at least 1 month out on repairs. From the time I walked through the door, every aspect of dealing with this company exceeded my expectations.... Everyone involved made the process of getting my vehicle repaired as easy and less stressful and time consuming on my end as possible. All of my concerns were addressed in the most expeditious and attentive manner, and the repair work exceeded my expectations. I will never consider using another company if I ever have any bodywork that needs to be done, but San Jose Collision is the standard that I would judge all others by, and in my experience, none of them even come close!!! Can’t give them 6 or 7 stars. That’s a shame. Minor repair on my wife’s suv. Fantastic work. Amazing. Also detailed the suv. She had some scratches in it. All gone. That wasn’t part of the repair but they got rid of the scratches. My estimate from the stealer (sorry dealer) was 2.5x what I paid at San Jose collision. They have a little bit of a wait. Even for minor damage. Well after the work done I understand the wait. I’m just glad I was turned on to them by a friend

Positive: the repair seems good, the car is clean and a part not used was credited to us.Negative: the time estimate was 2-3 days and it took 4, they didn’t initially return our key fob and we had to make an additional trip to go back and pick it up, and no one wore covid masks.

Amazing customer friendly family business! They have fixed stuff for me on 3 vehicles with a great total experience. Took care of a truck that was over sprayed with paint from contractor work, repainted hood/bumper of maserati (really amazing paint job!), and a smaller job with painting and fixing minor collision damage with my sons car. Hit a a LARGE truck tire lying in the middle of JTB at 5:45AM while headed to work three weeks ago, and so did 5 other cars who were in the emergency lanes. Pulled over and found major damage to front bumper, tire axel, side panel, radiator, fog lights, alignment. Got the mechanical fixed at Mavis Tire on University($680.00-Awesome JOB Justin!), and car was towed to San Jose Collision for the body and radiator work to be done based on all the 5 star ratings I saw.Suzanne is the Owner and is Extremely nice, professional, and genuine! Picked up car on Friday, 12/18 after 18 days. Great body work and drove car around. On Saturday, I was about to get on it(Dodge Charger Daytona), but was impressed to take an alternate route.Wow, glad I did that! I just happened to be close to Mavis Tire and Brake again when all of a sudden my Temperature Gauge lit up on my dashboard. I pulled into Mavis to have it checked out. Justin, the Manager did a check and afterwards came in and said:If you would have kept driving, you would have blown the Engine in your car because whoever installed your new radiator FAILED to BLEED the radiator! Once I took the cap off, it was all air bubbles and your temp was up to 280!Shocked was an UNDERSTATEMENT, since the total cost was over $3500(I paid the $1000 deductible). I had him put in writing in Mechanical Terms what they did not do, but got paid to do! Justin did it for FREE! I found out from the Production Manager at San Jose Collision named Rodney that an employee named Mark was the one who actually installed the Radiator. Someone slipped up BIG TIME and I was almost about to be awarded a NEW ENGINE! Being the Owner means making sure your Employees are actually doing their jobs, because it will all come back on the OWNER!Suzanne offered to reimburse me for any expenses I had incurred, but, I told her Justin did it for free. Its not always about being reimbursed, its about being disappointed, inconvenienced and what could have happened all because some employee was in dereliction of their duties!Christmas Disaster Avoided! Went in to get an estimate on a small scratch that is purely cosmetic. Front office girl came out and used some paint thinner and showed it was very mild, removed the worst of the appearance of it in about 30 seconds. Something other shops would have found a way to make me spend money on. I really appreciate the help. Thanks!!!

Great for car repair.

I had some damage to the under carriage of my car. I took my car hear to have it fixed. They quickly took my car back and fixed it. They told me it was an easy fix and there was charge. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful.

Excellent service. I had to get my rear bumper replaced and they scheduled an appointment a few days after they gave me an estimate. I’m a New Orleans Native that was here in Jacksonville working for six months. Having to take care of something like this away from home was stressful, especially with me being only 23 years old, and they made it as hassle free as possible.I was warned beforehand that there may be extra damage behind my bumper and that it could increase the cost if discovered. I appreciated hearing this upfront as some places like to surprise you, so when they called to say there was indeed extra damage I was perfectly fine with paying for it. They advised that the extra damage had to do with safety, and I did not want to take any chances with that.They also helped me get a rental car. I was having trouble because I’m younger than 25 and at the time I didn’t have a credit card. They had the rental company bill them and they simply added the cost to my bill with them. This was greatly appreciated because having trouble getting a rental was definitely stressful.I highly recommend letting these kind people serve you!

This would have been a 5 star rating except that my second experience with this shop involved being charged $308 for a $67 part that took 5 minutes to install. My bad for being trusting and not asking for a price but I was expecting better treatment as a repeat customer. Great body & paint work and I would use them again. Next time I wont be so trusting.

Took my wifes Explorer in to have the tail gate replaced. She was rear-ended by a school bus. Was told when the car should be ready (Thursday). They called on Wednesday to say that it was ready. Paint matches perfectly. Looks great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great to do business with. I highly recommend them.

The staff was nice and helpful. The price was accurate and the paint job looked great. The reason for the 2 stars is because of the extreme over spray. I had white paint dots and still do on the hood, passenger side and rear window. Not sure what else they were painting, but left my truck way to close.

The quality of the repair is great and it comes with a lifetime guarantee but their attention to detail was lacking on my last repair. Will update this review after they fix some oversight and what they did repair looks great but they did miss two very obvious spots.

After my brand new Mercedes was hit in a parking lot, I got a couple of quotes to have it repaired. One of those was from San Jose Collision. I decided to take it to them because they made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. If you want quality work with great customer service, this is the place. These people get it and I wouldnt hesitate to refer people to them for any level of collision repair.

The computer said my job should only take 0.8 hrs. I was given a quote accordingly. Well, the job took double that time because it required multiple panels to be removed to access the part. Anyway, Matt finished the job and the car looks great! He didnt charge me a penny more than the original quote. Suzanne was very helpful and pleasant. They earned my business for life! Thank you very much.

Repair looks good but the fact that I was told it would be 3 days of a total of 22 hours of work that turned out to be 8 days is reason for low star. They left white stains on my flooring but lucky for them my floors are rubber so Im not all that upset. Terrible with letting you know the progress on vehicle, I had to call them everyday they last told me my truck would be ready to find out it wasnt and would be the next day after three times it got really annoying

I was very satisfied with the work they did on my 2013 mustang gt. It had some paint chips on the roof right by the windshield. They were able to fix the paint without removing the windshield and it still looks great. Matt and Suzanne are very helpful and friendly.

Went there because the insurance company of the person who ran into us recommended them. They did a great job!! Later, went back for an unrelated issue. Not only did they do an awesome repair, but they actually charged me LESS than the price quoted because the part cost them less than anticipated. My brand new car was involved in a collision and I was very worried that the repair wouldnt result in the same new-looking body. I took it to San Jose Collision on faith of the good reviews I read. Boy did I make the right decision.I had to deal with the other partys insurance company which was less than thrilling. Suzanne (San Jose front desk) acted as the 3rd party between me and the insurance company and made this whole ordeal absolutely pain free.The car was finished within the original estimate and still looks fantastic. I would recommend anybody to have their body work done here, even if its out of the way.

I just recently needed their service,and I am very happy with work that they did,and professional way how theyes handled .I was waiting for 4 weeks to find out what I needed to do with insurance and nobody advised me right way to handle .it went to San Jose Collision and I got insurance check next day and they did their work very fast.Employees took care of my rental, too,and when I showed up at 8 AM Monday morning, my rental was there,everything was done quickly so I was not late for work.The work was done on my car was superb and I would recommend them everywhere.

They were very courteous, dropped me off and picked me up in their vehicle and completed the repairs within the 2 days they estimated. Had front and rear bumpers re-painted and buffed to get out scratches. They even cleaned the inside of my car and put all of my kids stuff neatly in the trunk. Overall excellent!

From appointment to pickup everything was amazing. Went through insurance of the person that hit me from behind to have my bumper fixed. Found them from their highly rated reviews online and they were just as expected, if not better. They set up the rental car with enterprise for when I dropped my car off. Within 3 days they had replaced and painted the bumper and fixed the other damages behind the bumper cover. Looked like a new car, they even washed the exterior and vacuumed, cleaned, and armor-alled the interior. My car was a mess inside when I dropped it off and they basically gave me a full detail. Great experience and great service. Employees were friendly and personable. Highly recommend for the Jacksonville area!

My wife had some damage to her front bumper and went to San Jose Collision on 11/1/2013. The repair technician could have easily told her to replace the bumper or suggested expensive repairs. Instead he volunteered to screw-in and buff the front bumper at a very low charge. It turned out fantastic.Most people of wary of auto mechanics taking advantage, so this was a very positive experience. The trust they built by being an honorable business will make me want to always return if and when I have car damage in the future.

They repaired over $6,000 in damages to my Mazda RX-8. The repairs took 4 weeks and 3 days. However, 2 weeks of that was international back order for parts.The repairs look okay - the paint is darker than the factory paint. You can tell the front and back bumpers were repainted. They also left blue tape under the rocker panel and didnt notice the molding on that rocker panel was missing and needed to be replaced. I also had to remove tape residue from the side of the car.Recently with all of this rain my tail lights started to leak/fog up and collect water. They did a supplement and had an entire tail light assembly replaced (over $800) and it still leaks/fogs and collects water. Im trying to settle with the other persons insurance company and these continuous supplements are stopping that process. Im going to end up buying RTV sealant and fixing the tail lights myself.I live 30 minutes away from this shop. I only went to them because of all the high reviews. Next time Ill just go to the closest Gerber Collision & Glass shop for my convenience.At first I thought they did an above average job but after slowly noticing things after the repairs were done Id say they are okay.
