Run down, it is a very cool concept, but just hasnt been kept up over the years. Still some pretty good finds there. I would make sure to have cash on hand. All in all, worth checking out.
Cool spot with a lot of history. Very reasonable prices on used furniture. Ill be returning you should.. GO!
What a cool place! Each of the cottages has a unique and cool atmosphere, and the curated nature provides for high quality wares in most. Ill definitely be returning returning when Im looking for oddities or gifts!
Love this place. Unusual products new and old. Love the Breyer store!!!
Cute place! Very friendly people. Didnt really find anything I wanted to buy, but it was nice to browse.
Realistically I’d say 3.5 stars. We enjoyed our visit but the shops were hit and miss. But there were quite a few artisans we really liked mixed in.
Very friendly people working there but nothing of value in my opinion and seems overpriced.
Really cute place, an old motor court from 100 years ago with individual cottages set up as shoppes. The area could do with a little sprucing up but still fun for gifts and collectibles
Cool little place with some very nice people and great art/ collectibles at very good prices.
Awesome experience ♡ very friendly people and a great history lesson♡
Cute place, when you want to do something different.
Could be a cute place. No provision for handicap people. Do have one small restroom. Have a few nice items but is mostly junk. Lots of cute cats.
Its cute but not many vendors. Many houses closed. Wasnt worth the drive for me but the people were nice.
It was ok. My girlfriend wanted to stop and explore some of the offerings. There is a central building surrounded by many smaller buildings and a large barn in the center - rear. Each of the smaller buuldings (maybe 10 or so) is a separate vendor with there own take on different art and antiques. Each of the vendors we spoke to was available and hospitible without being too obstrusive. Be aware, the large barn area is not air conditioned!
Such an interesting mix of antiques and original art work.
Love the atmosphere here. Kind people, decent prices, and kids loved the cats running around.
Beautiful little shops 😍 so much variety
Awesome cottage shoppes.. Build as Motel in 1920....All shoppe owners very friendly. So much to see, plan in returning.Next Saturday extra vendors will be on property with even more items to choose from.
Friendly people, unique finds, very good experience will definitely go again
Love it. Lived here in Jacksonville all my life but had never stopped. Love live love it..
The people who ran the businesses were great..Some little houses were better than others, but we had a great time..
Nice quiet place. Great Bryer collectable store in front
Love these little shops!
An old unique place. Little cottage, bungalow type vendors built in 1920.
Awesome place to visit....i had a great time with my fiance... Picked up so many cute things. The owners there were wonderful, helpful and friendly...i would suggest everyone to stop by and take a look...i guarantee you will find something you love
Some parts are a little rustic, but we found the perfect table for what we wanted. The price was outstanding!! The folks who have the shops went outve their way to help and educate us on the history. The Village has been there 99 years and is on the historic register for Jacksonville. Great place and we will be back. Thanks!!
The girls love this place everyone has gotten to know them.If you wont a peaceful place to spend the day this is it but you have to love cats its so nice to know people have a Heart
All the shops in one location and very friendly service
I liked the way it was set up with small cottages surrounding the main barn. It had lots of cute and quirky things, but we were looking for hardware and iron works. Not the right place for that. Still a cool spot to visit and plunder though.
1st here today. Visted our friends store #16.No parking spots by the individual cottages🤔It was raining, so we didnt visit other stores.Well go another day.
A MUST!!!! Amazing place. Amazing history!!! We had a blast!!!
Fun shops with a lot of character and charm!!
Dont waste your time going here. Its a shame because it could be so good with the setting, but youll find better items at yard sales, or thrift shops. No real antiques.
More like a flea market in some small buildings
A lot of stuff to look at very nice people
I absolutely love the old school charm of Bayard. Theyve got a lot of updates coming in the near future, but a lot of their vendors are simply amazing. Carolina over at Just For You has beautiful furniture for great prices, and Lady LaTraverse and Cos soaps are simply exquisite.
Got there late afternoon but the little houses are so cute and all individually owned. Lots to look for. Open Friday thru Sunday. Except shop up front opens on Tuesdays
Good service
Spectacular place. Great finds, very friendly owners. Something for everyone. I recommend it.
Some negative reviews that Bayard Antique Village is a lot of junk. Well, I was there twenty five years ago. So NOTHING has changed. The phrase is antiques and collectibles. You have to spend a lifetime looking thru junk to find the hidden treasures. Bayard is more collectibles than antiques. Lets be realistic: these type of places need to pay bills. So theyll take any vendor who can pay rent on a vendor stall. If you want real antiques, you have go online and find the antique shows scheduled around the country. Nothing special about Bayard. I can tell you if its as bad as people say, well, it was the same 25 years ago.
Lovely place!
Half the shops were closed Friday morning. Saturday might be better to go
Very nice people and variety of antiques and stuff
This is a way cool place. 14 little cottages with treasure in each one..then one large sale barn in the middle..make a day of it looking around..really fun people that run the shops.one even offers free coffee.open friday, saturday and sunday. 10 to 5. This place is a hidden treasure..
This village is very tastefully done, lots of vintage and antique stuff, reasonable prices and very friendly people. We love going there once in a while to find some treasures.
The people here are so so friendly and their shops are so beautiful and well set up. So much history here!!!!
Stay out of the barn. The jewelry lady is super awesome and very nice. Great prices.
Is this place a joke? It was more of a hick garage sale. Their main building was a dump and smelled like mold. The floor was uneven and covered in pieces of old carpet. My wife tripped several times. The items for sale ranged from vinyl records, to pictures of elvis, to lamps out of someones mobile home. Perhaps these people should look the word antique up in a dictionary. The concept of miniature houses for the vendors was neat, bu once again you walk inside and there are no antiques. Just garage sale items. Hint: Antique doesnt mean old junk you find under your trailer.
Bayard has changed so much in the past year! New Vendors on site. Lots of vintage goodness, shabby furniture, coastal decor, custume jewelry, garden decor, & antiques, well worth stopping by.
The Curiosity Shoppe is the best model horse source in the region.
This place is fantastic lots of shabby chick.
Good way to spend an hour
Cute little specialty shops and antiques.
Some of the cabins are really great! Some of them are overwhelmingly full of stuff
Place has a lot of potential but is not being run correctly they dont advertise so they dont get a good crowd of people and they have a hard time keeping vendors.
Very nice shopping experience.
Nice shops, lots of variety.
Neat shop.
Not much of antiques there, mostly Knick knacks.
Cats running around everywhere, only about 3 houses actually open for purchases.
Lots of antiques but lots of booths inaccessible for purchasing once the owner of the merchandise are only there on specific times
Great music.
Terrible. Mostly Flea market type items, 15 cats and we left with cat poop on our shoes!
It is Awesome!
Fun place to shop
Dreary
A mus
Place with a variety of antique items
