I love this mall. There is so much more than antiques to enjoy. All the shops are unique, fun, and so reasonable. I have been taking my teenage daughter here with me lately and she grabbed vintage clothes and begs me to go whenever I plan to shop. We always get a warm reception and the staff has always been helpful to us. I have been looking for art pieces lately and I got 3 of my favorite pieces here. I attached the pictures. Love this place.
I was prepared to buy an item at Great American Antiques, and placed it on the counter while my wife and I continued our browsing. 2 women who work behind the counter are rude, particularly the older women with short white hair. FYI women, if Im there shopping, spending my hard earned money in your store you should absolutely exercise a better customer service. I refuse to buy anything from that place after witnessing her, dissatisfied body language, and her under breath remarks. Good luck ladles! Plenty of antique shops around.
Wow, the rudeness of the one woman at this store is incredible. Everything is fine unless you ask her about contacting the booth owners for a discount. The loud sighing and eye rolling was unnecessary. We would have made the purchase even without a discount, but your attitude sealed the deal on that. Good luck with your stellar customer service. What a shame.
This is a new place I just discovered today. I definitely will keep an eye on this place! Im assuming they are a newcomer as retail space looks to be available in the rear of the store.I didnt give five star due to prices. Though some were just too high like my photo of the table and four chairs. The table is a really nice piece, but the chairs dont match and are run of the mill not worthy of the $600 price tag as a set, but on the other hand check out the photo of the Howard Miller mantle clock nicely priced at $99. Also interesting Asian items, odds and ends down to old office staplers. There is a good case full of WWII and other military artifacts including German WWII items. That alone makes this shop a rarity as most wont allow such items. Though I dont collect military items, to see these indicates rare and oddities can be found here.So be sure not to overlook this shop! June
First time there. A really fun antique shop. Lots of different vendors. Brought back a lot of memories. Will visit again.
I like the expansive size of this antique Mall and the nice little treasures that it has to offer. There is a lady with dark hair that is really super nice and helpful .
VENDORS BEWARE. I called the store, 6/27/19, to see if any vendors might be interested in some items I have for sale. The lady informed me, they dont let vendors purchase items from individuals. She said I could rent a space to sell my items. WOW. I fell the store is not looking out for their vendors. . I have an attic full of chandeliers and antique matching lamps. I traveled over 15 yrs with my job and collected items from Antiques Stores all over the US. I have since retired, in 2016. Now its time to start letting go of my things. Guess Ill be taking my items to another antique shop. [email protected]
Went to return a purchase from Amazon but wind up buying a nice elephant statue. Will go back to find some more different elephant as I collect them. Nice place full of stuff.
Cute store for antiques and looking around at many different items
An excellent place to shop for a variety of authentic antiques for your home ! Also to find an unusual gift for someone special..!
Very large place. Some nice stuff in there. Some booths had sales. 20% off everything in booth, etc. What they dont tell you is on the tag on the item on sale already reflects the sale price.I only had 2 sale items and it was the same with both items. Not cool. As with any antique place some items were way over priced but you expect that.
I love this place. Great rings. I always go for them and stones. They are my favorite!
Great selection! The place is huge! Stop by and browse. There is something for everyone! I even found a rare Spanish sculpture at the Antique Mall. Great location...located next to a furniture consignment store and a sports collectible store. Ive purchased something from all 3 stores.
What a great place!!! We discovered Davoli Studios at The Great American Antique Mall in Jacksonville recently - only about an hour north of our home in Ormond Beach, Florida. What a find!!! We wandered around, chose a few treasures and then- on our way home I began regretting not bringing home a large antique mirror I was admiring. 😆 Who hasn’t done that before?! So, I called and sheepishly asked more about the price and dimensions. The help I received both in person and over the phone was OUTSTANDING! I received everything I needed to make my decision including photos via text to refresh my memory. As it turned out, the mirror was too big for our space, but the service will certainly guarantee that I am a return customer! If you’re in the area or up for a nice drive to Jacksonville you won’t be disappointed!!
I have shopped here several times. It is great fun to wander through the store and see all the items for sale. Each “booth” has a different vendor so there is a wide variety of items to choose from. Staff is great and helpful. Some of the vendors will negotiate and others have “sales”. Always something new!
Love this place! Very clean, great staff and something for everyone!
Variety of goods. A bit overpriced but you can ask for discounts. enjoyable visit and great costumer service, always eager to help and well informed.
This is the best antique mall in all of Jacksonville.Cant wait to go back many many more times. The staff are really kind and patient.
Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Large selction of pieces. I have yet to go and leave empty handed.
This is a great antique mall! Loads of fascinating treasures.
I recently shopped there and gave 4 stars because the couple that runs the store are very nice and helpful. I get my pieces home and very disappointed with one of them.We bought a cedar hope chest advertised in excellent condition on the outside and pristine on the inside. It couldnt be farther from the truth. There were many flaws to the naked eye and the entire back & bottom was particle board ( pressed wood ) which was falling apart and leaving wood particles which is how I found out. I paid for a cedar chest not pressed wood. I had to pick up my 2nd piece yesterday because it all wouldnt fit last week. I explained my frustration and disappointment to the lady of the couple and she apologised and said I should also tell her husband. So nothing done to correct situation. I feel the piece was an over priced piece of junk that I now have to invest even more to get corrected. The store rents booths to individuals to sell their items. I was able to message the seller with my concerns and nothing from her. Why would she. She got my $300.00 for a piece of junk.So please examine your pieces.! Flaws can be very hidden. My other piece was lovely. So as you can see in the pics I feel ripped off!!!!! Julie Christie you should be ashamed!!!!!!!UPDATE ##### 5 days after owners message to send email or text which I have done. Nothing from them. Havent even responded to emails or text. Poor customer service for sure. I guess it was just a show for my review. Still waiting! 1/16,1/1/19,1/23,1/26, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/4,3/11, 3/20,4/3, 4/17, 5/7, 5/17,6/2, 7/20, 8/14,
Beautiful things at decent prices. Sales ladies just are a little stiff. Not very outgoing.. other than that. This store is lovely.
Really nice place. Parking is good and the walk through has a nice mix of items. Separate booths make strolling and slow looking a nice change from the high pressure malls. Prices show additional discounts from 10% to 40% from tag prices but am sure you can negotiate things even lower. Every week can bring different items so one visit may never be your last. Booths have anything from furniture to nick knacks so good luck finding that special something.
They get a bit snarky when you try to haggle on price. Haggling is a normal process of buying antiques IMO. Especially expensive pieces. We have gone several times and always had a good experience so it kinda sucks. Will not be back.
Great place to.look around, some neat stuff and a very nice jewelry selection for nice surprise no-reason gifts for significant others.
Good place to look for collectibles. ✌👌👍
Always fun to visit on days off when we feel like treasure hunting.
Disappointed. I was expecting a larger antique store based on the name. Very small. There was some replica merchandise that does not belong in a antique store! Deceiving for some customers that might not know how to tell the difference between a antique verses a knock off!
So many treasures in this antique mall! I love visiting when I’m in Jax.
It was so quaint and full of beautiful objects. Cant wait to visit again.
For me its a one fir someone else it may be a 5 star. I just like the cluttered older shops.
Lots of neat things, staff is very friendly and helpful
Great selection. Beautiful items. I wanted to buy everything!
Very charming many different vendors with a huge selection of fine antiques to modern home furnishings
I was in line and this lady whent in front of me know I was going next and I lady in the cash register help her frist then me knowing I was next 🤬😤 really bad costumer service
Great place to find cool antiques and things you dont see anywhere else.
Theres always a hidden treasure here at the great American antique mall. Shopping is a pleasure and a great way to spend the afternoon seeing things that will be gorgeous in your house your garden on your fingers in your windows its just an awesome place to be. It really should be named the great American treasure mall. The staff is always helpful always there to pick something up that might be too heavy for find a pair of sunglasses that you put down while moseying around them mall. If you really want to have an enjoyable afternoon or morning stop in the great American antique mall and you wont be sorry.
Friendly folks. Didnt have what we were looking for. Youve got to have something in mind when you go to these places or you get overwhelmed.
My friend was shouted at for lowering her mask, when ordering food, even though she has had two vaccinations!. but other than that I like the atmosphere.
Nice to browse, but most things were very expensive!
A great experience. Lots of individual booths all with different themed merchandise. There is something here for everyone!
Neat, clean, lot of choices.
Good place, some great books
Nice store. Lots of good vintage items.
We went today to look at one Particularpiece that we had seen sitting outside, ended up staying all afternoon!Wonderful collection of vendors, booths, and many unusual pieces. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Left with gift items for several people. And came home with a beautiful, handmade unique piece of furniture for our home. Thanks to Virginia and Daniel, and their team!
Flea market is not like a flea market anymore, its more like bunch of small retail stores and the poor drainage.
Very clean and lots of neat finds.
If you are going to close two hours early .... dont make a facebook post at noon saying open 10-6...or maybe a sign on the door would be a good idea, or update your Google page. Unfair to customers especially if they drive long distances. Unprofessional, glad Im not a dealer here I would be mad if I were and they just closed on a whim like this.
Spacious.. And always find something new each time we visit.
AMAZING ANTIQUE STORE! I go to a lot of antique stores and let me say this one was wonderful! The selection was not huge but the items were incredibly quality. This was not some antique store that could almost just be a Thrift store they have so much random stuff there (though those do have their place). This antique store was a little more high class in its objects. Real antiques like the writing desks of famous people, marble statues, massive globes, even what appeared to be an exorcism kit. We went in 20 minutes before closing which I felt bad about but I could not resist. Even though we were their right at the end of the night we did not feel rushed at all, the staff asked if we needed help or just had any questions, they were absolutely lovely to us and I would return for that reason alone. Wonderful experience, great items, helpful staff and just a great vibe. 10/10
Cool place, but the man who got our purchase wore no mask, and a few clients took theirs off while shopping. If you are concerned about your health, you may want to shop elsewhere.
Antique store...marginally
Store is large and well- lighted, aisles are wide, booths are easy to navigate.Selection is adequate, and they are adding more space.I returned to buy two vintage paperweights that I had seen on a previous visit. The clerk had to call another staff member not currently working to confirm the discount promised. Then my credit card information was entered incorrectly. When entered a second time for the same amount, the card locked up. I had to call the credit card company, and they had to talk to the clerk to get one of the charges removed. That didnt work, and the clerk had to be transferred to another department to resolve the problem. Fortunately from my point of view, no one else was waiting to buy.In spite of all this, I was in no hurry, and my Four Star rating is because it seems that at least half the items offered for sale are not antique or even vintage, but modern decorator or handcrafted items. I asked another shopper if she agreed with that assessment, and she said yes. Nothing wrong with that, except that the store name implies primarily antiques.
Visit every Sunday and every chance I get! Luv Caroline and Mark to pieces. Best deal in town for designer handbags and fine vintage jewelry.
Great place to shop
A clean, neat store with beautiful and rare items at good prices 😀 and nice staff. Highly recommend!
Awesome place for all styles of antiques. I found some great finds!
First time in. Some cute things but overall can find things elsewhere. Saw quite a few things that had Goodwill price tags and then the booth owner marked them up about 300%. But overall some cute things. They don’t seem very designer friendly, though. I asked if I could use my resale certificate and email it to them since I didn’t have a hard copy and the lady seemed confused about my request. She said designers typically bring in their hard copy, which they would need to make a copy of the designers hard copy regardless, so I didn’t understand how me emailing and them printing a copy was any different. Then she said something about having to pay the tax, which whoever the product is sold to is who is paying the tax... just didn’t seem like she wanted to do it one small lamp. Never had an issue with any other antique store doing this, no matter what I spend. I’d rather take my business elsewhere.
What a great antique mall. My husband and I enjoyed our adventure there. Everyone was so friendly. Great cookies, honey from Tennessee, and homemade jams as well!
Lots of treasures! Fun place to look, explore. Mostly collectibles.
I stopped in this place last week, I was very impressed, it was very clean, and smelled great, not your tipical antique shop, the proprietor was very helpful and made you feel welcome, they had some very beautiful things also, I will shop this place again.
Excellent Customer service, love this Mall!!
Very good staff. Lots of glass, jewelry, and collectables. Am considering selling some furniture of mine on consignment.
Very nice, and very friendly and helpful staff
After visiting many antique malls, I found this place to have some of the best prices.
I stopped in today with a few friends. The Great American Antique Mall has not been open long so it is still developing. So far, I like what is being discharged and sold. I did buy a wall hanging that I cant wait to put up. I will be back to see what has been added.
Great place to shop. Huge selection. Fantastic lighting. Staff is wonderful
Great Mall! I always find treasure here!
Very nice people very welcomed to all very clean and have awesome antiques
I absolutely Love this antique gallery. I loved the staff and the collection is amazing. WOW!
Has a nice, diverse selection of things. Furniture is restored and some is not. 2 stars is because of the tools (which is my primary target) and how grossly they are over priced. Ebay is good place to price if you are selling on eBay. Proof of this is that the same bunch of hand tools have been on the same shelf from oct18 to may19. Tools demand a premium price if they are in immaculate condition and/or are an uncommon make/manufacture and the tools here are none of the aforementioned. I do not see myself coming here anymore if the prices continue to be falsely inflated.
Great place to new and older stuff
Best antique mall in Jacksonville. Outshines avonlea antique Mall bye thousand times. Staff was incredibly helpful Perry
Nice clean place unlike most Antique stores.
We both liked it we would go back and check it out again
This place is ok to kill some time. There are some actual vintage items scattered around but for the most part, that word vintage is overly used. I dont consider late 90s as vintage but I could be wrong.....Also be careful of some items that are clearly old but have been modified or integrated with newer items to make complete for sale purposes, as well as price tags being changed (300 raised to 600 rather just get a new tag)Overall it was not a bad experience and it did kill almost an hour.Enjoy !!!!
A VERY CLEAN ANTIQUE SHOP. IT IS NOT OVERCROWDED LIKE MOST SHOPS LIKE IT. I HAVE FOUND SOME AWESOME DEALS HERE, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SPOT.
Awesome
This place is very confusing, since its name is mainly referred to antiques. However, what we mainly found in there was used items, but not antiques. Its very important to differentiate between an old and used item, and an antique. For example, I can have a blender that is 20 years old, but, does that make it as an antique?........
Great selection, reasonably priced and friendly staff
Filled with treasures you never knew you needed and tons of nostalgia. they wrap every individual thing! loved it!
A upscale antique mal like avonlea. Some old some new.
This place has horrible customer service and they allow the vendors to sell false advertised pieces and the owners will do nothing about it. Owners will post to call & email for show just so the public thinks they are concerned . Dont be a fool to this place like I was.!!!!
Love everything about this shop.
Pretty cool spot
This place had some great antiques and some of it was real unique
New, varied choice of home furnishings. Enjoyed the walk through:)
They had people following us around the store which made us uncomfortable shopping. This was more of a display store than an antique store.
The Best place to buy beautifull furniture, lamp, antiques in JAX
It has lots of old and beautiful things
Fantastic collection of interesting antiques ❤️
Good stuff, ok deals
Nice items displayed well. Seemed a bit overpriced on a number of furniture items
