Very kind people, and always get a good price for scrap.

They were giving me $2.96 for my dancers pole. The snide remarks from the guys were off putting as well. I returned their money, thanked them for their time and left. I took the same dancers pole to Jacksonville metal Recycling and got a better deal and excellent customer service. Go figure!

Great selection of steel, including galvanized. Easy pickup and they load it all on your vehicle.

Bring a cot, some sheets, and a pillow if you’re picking up a small order. I placed an order in the morning between nine and 10 and arrived at 12:49 PM. After an hour of waiting, actually a little over an hour, I was on the road a little after 2 o’clock. The salesman told me it would be ready after lunch.

****Semi trucks**** picking up steel, use E 16th ST. Call ahead to see what street to use for other services. Roads are narrow and tight around this bunisess. Friendly staff and welcoming. Only down side is the lack of business signs on Phoenix Ave coming from Alt US-1.

I am changing my review to 5 stars. Apparently there was some mis communication and after finding out what the situation was instead of going elsewhere for my business. I have put in many orders but being a small business i cant afford a whole truck of metal. I will continue to buy my metal here because there is no one else that gives fair prices every time. Every other metal supplier wants to make sure the small business doesnt make it.

Professional to the point good attitude

I have had nothing but excellent service here for over three years. However, today I was refused service by this company for not meeting minimum purchase requirements. I have never had this issue before and am sadly disappointed in the service not provided. I have seen posts of a family run good company but apparently money as always is the bottom line and mine is not good enough.

Their sales reps have always been courteous and knowledgeable.

I worked for the Bermans in the 90s. What an absolutely great family to work for, Which i di in the 90s After all these years I have great memories of the company. They employ from the immediate and surrounding area. I think they may advertise that they only sale wholesale metals but If you come to the yard I have never once notice them turn anyone away. I was able to glean a great amount of how to go about life and how to treat people from Charles.

The only downfall I see with Berman Brothers is the web page, I do not want to spend a lot of time on the phone, Im sure Berman Brothers feels the same. so, I would request a price list to go with the inventory online . I cant get my budget calculated without the price of materials and I cant get a price without using the phone very inconvenient !
