I guess I might be the only person that got something negative to say about the store because when I went in there a few of them Caucasian ladies were looking at me funny. I dont know if it was because Im black or they just naturally mean.

Place looks like it’s been looted. Virtually no supply. Things in the isles. Really run down looking.

Long line and the blonde lady looked at the line and went over and started stocking shelves, and she is a cashier.

This place is clean and modern. One of the best grocery store type stores in the aea. However I have to ding them (hard) in the lack of checkout staff during peak hours. Expect to spend at least as much time waiting to pay for your items as it took to shop for them. At time it borders on ridiculous and Ive abandoned my shopping and left. Mostly this isnt the case but its always a risk at this location.

Always clean. Good variety of items. Perfect replacement for mega-stores that take forever to get in and out of.

Thay posted Thanksgiving hours as open till 5. I was having a hard day and this was my last chance to get some food for dinner. Got there at 4:30pm and guess what? Doors were closed but manager was there with some people. I was standing and waiting. After 15 minutes he had to come to the door as some custumers were leaving and he had to unlock the door. So I asked why did they close 30 minutes earlier than it was posted and he answered that he had a bunch of stuff to do. he said - if you want to call in and complain go ahead and do that. Seriously? John or Joe, dont really remember his name. Just little dude in mid 40s in glasses. I guess he wanted to finish earlier to go home to see his family. Oh well DG, next time I will not rely on you. we all work hard. I had to work 7 to 7 that day. But my Thanksgiving dinner was of whatever I had left in my fridge. Thanks. Not. One star

Manager is Amazing...OB1 Kenobi, spelling probably off...great products almost free... dont spend when you can save!!!! Many items $1...marked up elsewhere by 200-500%...He addressed shoplifter calmly, trespassed him, packing, didnt bother Police. Hooray for OB1!!!

Very nice neighborhood store nothing fancy but they have the basics and prices are worth the trip on a lot of stuff they are cheaper than Walmart and much more convenient for us at the beach.It can be wild in there sometimes since they are almost next door to a large high school and they can overwhelm the staff when they hit.I like to go there while Colonel Mustard a few doors down is cooking me the best hamburger in Jacksonville.

God prices for alot of the items I need.

Convenient to us but the wait time is ridiculous and stocking is an issue. This store needs more labor hours to allow customers to have a great experience. Also seems like the staff isnt happy to be there. Rarely ade they upbeat. I expect more from a beach store. Mayport store is heavily stocked and has some employees but ive3 had a better experience there than i do at the beach. Yes we are regular shoppers and love the some of the staff but they afe overworked.

You can always find something there.

Please stock the store up and not have boxes all over the store every single day. Manager is super lazy will not help even if theres a line in the store he will watch his employees drown i hate this location but its the only one close to my house.

This is a good store. Clean with good selection of bargain buys and staples. Its the closest one to the house so I often walk here for the exercise to get misc things.The staff is always friendly and quick. And Ive never had to wait behind 1-2 people in line.

Consistently clean and orderly, with an odd mix of good and strange employees. I never know who Im going to get to check my items but its always interesting. Service ranges from pleasant and professional to overly loud and maddeningly slow. Who hires these people?! But I keep going back just to see what will happen! Plus its cheap, convenient and clean. The stock...not the help. Except for a much appreciated one or two.

Dollar General isnt the same as it was years ago when you were guaranteed discounted prices, but if you look hard enough, certain items are great buys. The new layout doesnt make a lot of sense. But definitely an okay shopping experience.

The the management was great but the young guy who work there on Friday this past Friday I would ask him questions and you literally said I dont care he wouldnt help me with anything he was some young guy probably 25-30 about 6ft tall maybe a little shorter whats a good setting hair and a really shity attitude.

I mostly only go here cuz its right by my school and all the students sneak over there at all times of the day but its really good they have good food and nice quality items to buy to decorate or if u gust need a quick thing its good for that to but there aint that many workers

Just your average Dollar General. Ive found that Dollar General stores are pretty consistent. This one was out of two of the items I went in for. The people there are friendly and helpful

An extra cashier during the weekend would be helpful because of the busy season. But the guys there did the beat they could and were very kind.

Here is the bottom line as I see it. This company is becoming the in between by that I mean they are not a grocery store and they will never be a Walmart they are just in between. 2 stars are one for each of the two employees that were in the store. Prices are higher and no service of any kind.

It wasnt a well kept store, very crowded and nothing was in order there was stuff all over the place and just tossed on the shelves, still found what we needed just took a bit longer, employees were very nice

Horrible, the advertised Bogo sale for Scott paper towels was not set. The manager in charge told me to come back later, he hadnt unloaded the truck. Well if you have a sale thats been posted since Sunday shouldnt you have the merchandise ready and on the sales floor. Very poor customer service, makes me not want to shop there anymore. Not time is valuable, I have to work later and dont have the gas or time to return later.
