When this store was McDades, it was amazing, but since being bought and renamed Corner Market, Ive been inside 3 times and walked out empty handed. The roof is leaking inside, the prices went up, and the ice cream freezer has something wrong with it because every gallon of Blue Bell had ice build up on it. They will not be getting my business.

In my experience weve always had good customer and great food. My family has been coming here since 2012. Were from North Mississippi and every time we visit family in Jackson we have to come here! I have to note how they were extremely patient with my 10 year while he ordered. Of course were coming back.

Got what I was looking for. I mean its not kroger or even Mcdades for that matter but sufficient enough!

Great place for groceries.abit pricy though.I go there for the deli dinners they are delicious!

The produce department has a poor quality of fruit and vegetables. They go bad very quickly.

Went to purchase a lunch and the choices were limited and the food wasnt very good!

I usually don’t mind the overpriced items at a local market, but to purchase rolls on 23 March with a sell by date of 21 March and mold just isn’t cool.

I WENT TO THE DELI N IT WAS AFTER 3 OCLOCK, N THEY STILL HAD PLENTY TO EAT N THE DELI WORKER WAS NICE N COURTEOUS.

A great, well-stocked neighborhood grocery store. Many local and regionally-sourced items, including a wide selection of beer. Friendly staff and easy parking.

This place has been here long enough to be a staple in stories I heard from my grandmother.Good selection of just about anything youd want from a grocery store. Not a huge level of variety, but this will have all your staples covered.IMPORTANT: The beer selection is great for a grocery of its size.

Great local grocery store. Excellent service and a good selection. Great place for milk and eggs. Vegetable choices arent always the freshest.Deli makes some mean fried chicken, and they sell smoked rotisserie chickens.

Very impressed with this market in the Fondren area of Jackson. I understood that parts of the movie The Help was filmed inside and at the diner next door. Great selection of meat and vegetables and other staples. Reasonably priced and still hold on to the old fashioned values. You should definitely see the movie and try to pick out the scenes that were filmed there and while you are there get you some fresh groceries for dinner.

Great deli food and nice cashiers...

Older people can expect no help getting their groceries to their cars. I felt their attitude was buy or not they could care less.

I had to beg and plead with deli for three pieces of chicken I wanted. I like my chicken fried hard so I picked out three small pieces. The deli lady shook her head and motioned for the entire pan of chicken to be removed. She then fixed me up with two tiny wings and a dry breast. Not pleased. I went back to ask for the three pieces she said it was gone . That’s crazy

I was in the corner market in Fondren this morning and saw a UMC medical professional shopping without a mask and also 2 employees without masks. Theres a sign on the door saying that masks are REQUIRED. I confronted the store manager who laughed it off as if it wasnt a big deal. Dont spend your money here until they they are in compliance with the mayors order that says masks are REQUIRED in the city of Jackson

Clean, fresh produce, neatly arranged and very polite staff. Good variety of products and pleasantly pleased with the store.

This review is in regards to my visit a few days ago. Besides the crazed lunatic accosting the manager demanding customers be told to put on useless masks, it was a fabulous experience!

I have been shopping at McDades around 5 years. Nice and clean store. Managers and some some employees are friendly. A couple of employees will keep walking by if they think you need help. The bakery and meat dept. employees are very friendly and helpful. Cashiers are not real friendly. They will only speak to you if you will speak to them first. Some of them will not utter a word until the end when they tell you how much you owe. I hope one day they will treat everyone with kindness. It means a lot when you see a smiling face. Although a smile can hide a lot of pain and misery. That my friend, is another story. Thank you for reading this!

I like the staff, everyone is friendly and you get a real neighborhood feeling. The prices are quite comparable to larger chains, and their selection is surprisingly diverse. They carry many items that I wouldnt have expected to find.They have a pretty great beer selection, with the mix-n-grab packs so you can get as many or as few, and as many types, as you like. I particularly like this.My only word of caution: they dont seem to watch their bakery items or produce very well. Often the produce is old. One several occasions all of their fresh herbs, raspberries, and even GINGER has been moldy. Ive brought it to the attention of management many times, and they will remove the front/ top few, but that doesnt solve the problem. I usually avoid most produce from here if I want the freshest.

The employees are very friendly. If a person need something from the office, just say how many, they always know you need. I recommend this store to anybody lo

This is a local grocery chain. Most locations have great products to offer as well as a great deli and bakery. Some of the higher end locations offer flowers and wine.

Deli lady was rude and argumentative. Then when produce rang up it didnt match price tag. The cashier and manager were both rude and it made me understand that that is the way they run that store.

The best and most safe in Jackson area. Gourmet choices. Great meat selection. Fresh produce. Small batches to ensure freshness.

Went to both McDades today. A pleasant experience at both. Friendly staff.

I went to the customer counter where I waited for almost 10 minutes for someone to help me with stamps. I finally had to call the store while I stood inside and a cashier within eye shot answered the phone. I looked at her surprised that she hadnt acknowledged my presence before the phone call since I had observed her line empty at one point during my wait. I asked her about the stamps and she they were out.

Was not excited at the nonchalant attitude of the guy cashier or that of the girl bagging. Neither spoke as I stepped up in line nor during the entire transaction. They did however converse with each other. After the girl bagged my items and saw me double each of my bags, she never attempted to help as I was alone and did not want the bags to burst transferring from buggy to my car. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

The new owners have jacked up prices on things I know the prices been for years
