Amazing place to get the best cup of coffee in Jackson County!! My friends and I always look forward to a good cup of joe and friendly staff we encounter! 10/10 recommend!!

I love stopping in at Fortress whenever Im in the Jackson area! Super thankful for the welcoming atmosphere, fun people, and good coffee.

Atmosphere is awesome. Nice selection of food and beverages. Original coffee which is nice. Loyalty point system which is always fantastic and a crew that gets to know you.

Honestly, this place feels like a gem in disguise, because its tucked away in a nook of Lean Rocket Lab, but it is a real gem. The barista, Olivia, was so sweet, and they make a mean glass of iced tea. Ill definitely visit again.

A very open space, coffee shop. Ive had a protein shake and quiche so far. Both were very good! Prices seem to be close to competition. Your phone number is used for reward points. Staff was very friendly both times. I am glad they opened up at that location, i do not like seeing spaces empty..😔 shop local! Ill be back to you the coffee next.😁

Enjoyed spending the morning here drinking their signature Fortress Latte. Excellent place to sit down, enjoy a drink and get some work done.

Their white mocha frappuccino is delicious. My sister gets a shark bite, which is very sweet.Staff is very friendly.Prices are reasonable.Support local businesses.

Enjoyed a great mocha! Great atmosphere for a business meeting with a client. Liked all of the natural lighting that flowed in. It appeared as if most people who were there were doing business related activities. Their food looked good too, I just didnt get to try it this time. But, hopefully next time Im in Jackson I can stop in and eat from their nutritious menu.

Very modern, hip vibe. The office spaces behind the coffee bar give it a sort of industrial feel. Might be a nice place to go for a meeting or an interview, but it definitely doesnt have the cozy-chat-over-coffee or settle-in-with-a-good-book atmosphere if thats what youre looking for. My husbands smoothie was a bit disappointing but I enjoyed my cappuccino.

My go to place in Jackson for lunch, snacks, and coffee. The matcha with maple syrup or Rocket Fuel if I need a big boost. Love the protein shakes too. The wraps and scotch eggs are what I grab most often. Super friendly staff too! Multiple times a week for the past year kind of fan here!

I went to Jason coffee shop Wednesday March 24th Receive a cold coffee when it was supposed to be hot so i ask for the same but a to be ice but they made tge same as the first to an it was 2 females severing this day an they refused to give me my money back i did not that so for all you people out that like i dont recommend this place

Food is always fresh...high quality products like Thorne in the smoothies...service is always fast too...5+ stars everytime Ive been there.

I have been very happy each time I’ve come into the cafe. When you walk in you’re greeted in a friendly way, you order and you’re told “excellent choice”, then your order is made promptly. I haven’t been disappointed once

Fortress Cafe has gone above and beyond to serve their customers during the recent pandemic. Whether it’s home delivery of coffee beans or opening a sidewalk kiosk in front of the Lean Rocket Lab, they’re thinking outside the box, and I for one am very appreciative of the ability to still be able enjoy Fortress Coffee. ☕️

It was wonderful! the Covid guidelines made me feel very safe and the drinks were delicious. The barista, Jayme, helped me pick out what type of tea I wanted and gave me wonderful recommendations!

Very friendly staff which makes the atmosphere even more inviting. Coffee is great. Only thing I wish they had a more detailed menu of the drinks they offer and more variety of their healthy snack/lunches. But considering they are still new they probably will get to it. Overall a great place.

Great coffee and wonderful service. The location is great with convenient parking in the front and side. Appreciate that there’s equipment for pour overs like the Hario V60 so you can make great cup of coffee at home too. Can’t wait to go again!P.S. I usually just drink black coffee, but the Fortress Latte is _fantastic_.

My favorite coffee by far, not too acidic but very strong. I enjoy their Brazil variety the most. They also have surprisingly good healthy food. Have tried the açaí bowls, protein shakes, smoothies, quiche, and baked oatmeal, all are very good! What a gem for downtown Jackson!

Well I guess I am too old. The seating is too hard or too soft The food ( that I choose and warm in the microwave myself), the regular coffee that I pour myself is on the high end for what you get. Background music makes it difficult to hold on a conversation . The twenty-somethings seemed to be happy.

The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They tend to remember you order as well.

This is the best coffee in Jackson IMO. I had a rocket fuel brevé without the honey and it was perfectly smooth.
