I can’t speak for the inside shopping experience, but I LOVE their grocery pickup! I live in Byram and so far I’ve used them 4 times in the past couple months, they always substitute their items correctly (Byram Walmart DOES NOT SUBSTITUTE I swear it’s like they’re too lazy they don’t even want to), they never forget items (Byram ALWAYS gets something wrong with my orders), and they are SO thorough and polite. Tiffany is very professional! If you want a great pickup experience don’t let the location fool you, Jackson Walmart is the best!

Iwas able to get a handicap parking space which is no simple tasks at Walmart, and get my groceries and pick up some personals for the month ya know bath bombs, lotion, kitty toys in a clean environment. The lady at checkout sanitized her hands after the the last customer before she dealt with me which was good to see for a change we pleasantly laughed at the register a couple isles down ( someone had a 5p at 12p the grocery bagger was cutting up too, young man was very polite and asked if I needed help bringing them to the car,overall this was a very nice store and zI had a good experience 😀 👍

You know the auto section is a lil slow but great store

Felt very uncomfortable loss prevention followed me threw the whole store . Literally the whole store . Didnt get everything I wanted because I felt uncomfortable having this man follow me everywhere constantly popping up and I had my babies with me . Then the only thing open was self checkout and I wasnt even allowed to use the next one available because they werent done radioing each other I guess to make sure I didnt steal something already but was given the excuse that j couldnt go to the available self checkout because I had more than 15 items the whole time the other workers where laughing and talking about how uncomfortable I looked and its messed up because I really felt super uncomfortable never had such a bad exasperiance if they really felt like I was going to take something they couldve just watched me from the cameras instead of having that man follow less then 3 feet behind me at all times . Sad part is all the workers are black and the whole time they was watching me so tuff it was people constantly walking out the door setting off alarms

I arrived at 10:40 tonight and a light skinned girl at the door told me that the store was closed. I asked to speak to her manager due to the fact that the store didn’t close til 11 and the girl rudely said I said weClosed then said to her manager that some girl in a red shirt and blue Jean shorts broke in the store which I said I didn’t and the manager also said the store was closed early and that if I get anything I wouldn’t be able to pay for it. This is the worst most ratchet walmart in Jackson Mississippi area I’ve ever been to.

Outstanding and clean up well and nice descent employees helped with fast response to being the best 5 stars

My only issue is the lack of cashiers but dislocation is always well stocked.

Please fix scales for produce and synchronize acceptance of credit and debit cards. This is hampering checkout time and taxing your customers patience. Just because the busy clerks quickly hit a button and flit swiftly away from you this doesnt mean the problem is fixed. The staff is most courteous though as others are calling for help too! My local Wal-Mart is a great store. Help us customers and your staff with these issues.

Great customer service, everything stocked well, I was able to get everything I went in there for.

The pharmacy employees were awesome. The self checkout lady with the extra long palm tree leaves glued on her eyelids had a very nasty attitude. If you work in customer service, you should have a pleasant attitude. Leave your issues at home dont bring it to work with you.

Their Pick-up services is okay if youre not handicapped. The curbside is atrocious do not use it or this store for it. Save yourself the trouble on trying to call because they never pick up. You can never get in touch with a managing unless you have get in touch with corporate. In-store experience is really 50/50 on customer service.

Its Walmart, and besides rolling back their prices, the also have rolled back the cashiers. If you dont want to wait in long lines at the few cashiers, you can do their job for them and check yourself out and bag your own purchases. Its always great to do someone elses job when you get off from yours and need some milk, underwear, or whatever, and still pay the same as everyone else to do a job other people are trying to get.

Employees sleep in private restroom and families and handicap suffering. Employees should be fired for stepping in that restroom unless cleaning

No one ever answers the phone at this store, not even for pick up. Majority of the employees have nasty attitudes and there answer to everything is thats not my department. Today is my last time ever picking up at this store.

In my personal opinion the new Walmart self checkout layout is terrible, it doesnt give room for older people or people with disabilities to be checked out in a timely manner. This particular Walmart seems to have sacrificed customer service and physical accessibility to profits and quick shopper turn around. And have limited customer to employee accessibility and herding people into a Corral close together. My disabled wife could not even get an associate or cashier or customer service to help her check out. So unless you have a whole lot of time to wait in line just to check yourself out this is the Walmart for you. I will be shopping at stores that value their customers more than their profit margins such as Corner Market, Food Depot Save-A-Lot etc.

Ordered product online waited all day and at 8p.m. which was my pickup time they cancel my order and say that it was not available. I went into the store and bought the exact thing I had ordered.... they just didnt want to fill my online order. 😕

All self check out now. I do not like that - it doesnt really take more or less time, but I used to look forward to going to walmart because there were a couple of cashiers I would always seek to check me out as they were friendly and it was just enjoyable chatting with them. When Im standing at the self checkout machine I often think about them and hope they are doing well. Also, seems there are some stocking issues lately... its not uncommon to see shelves looking quite empty in the middle of the day in the middle of the week. Not sure what is up with that, but if they can get that under control it would make shopping there better.

They should have never closed the check out lines this is ridiculous

This the largest Walmart in Mississippi that Ive been going to. Its in Byram. Their curbside pickup is awesome. You just pull up and they come out to your car. No calls, no sign in prior to you orders. Keep up the Good WORK BYRAM!!

I refuse to shop anywhere that makes me serve myself. You can pay a real person to bag my things and make my change. Self checkouts are insulting and only a fool thinks its faster. If you hired enough real people it would always be faster.

I stopped for groceries today everything was in stock needed except chicken wings as theres a shortage everywhere service checkout a little slow but efficient

I *accidentally* placed a pickup order at this place(accident because I already knew this was the worst Walmart in the city & had I paid better attention to the location @ checkout I would have changed it)...1 hour after checking in, nobody came out. Called(number listed on stall(went to voice-mail), the pick up line AND general store line)-- no answer. Associates walked past me would not answer when I beckoned them. Wound up canceling my entire order. Waste of time. Very disappointed.

Store was clean, shelves were stocked, easy entrance and exit, security was polite at the entrance.. how ever, I must say I miss the cashiers.. I dont care for the new self checkout system, not only does it take people jobs, Wich disappointed me, it is very crowded and loud around check-out.

New self checkouts make the exit process much quicker. Less lines. Store looks cleaner. Still have work to do to remodel, but so far so good.

Its definitely changed for sure..I waited in a line for about 15 minutes, so an associate can direct me to a register so I can get to work..Its been a long time since I have shopped Walmart, and after today, it will be even longer before I go there again.

They need more open check out people. Seem like every time I go there no matter the time it’s always a extremely long line. They usually have 2 or 3 registers open serving 160 people.

No disrespect to the the ones that are employed, standing around in a huddle doing nothing, what kinda system is THIS. THE CUSTOMER gotta shop, buy, check out and bag your own groceries!!!! What is The People in this world thinking???? They are NOT THINKING!!!

Hard to check out when only 1 register is open for cash and that is all you have why do we have to wait 30 minutes to an hour just to check out... my wife is disabled and cant stand for long amounts of time

Im getting a tire put on my car an there are 3 cars ahead of me thats not my issue though can anyone tell me why there isnt a sitting area for customers to wait in why do we have to walk around the store or stand at the door?? sitting in the sun isnt even an option. Spent too much time trying to send money. I was in line for an hour and 15 mins. There needs to be 2 or 3 people at the money center. No one could socially distance themselves because the line was wrapped around the corner.

I really appreciated the courtesy from the Police Officer who was working there and the professional services from the employees. Went traveling through Jackson MS., I will make it my business to shop her.. Plenty of parking for commercial vehicles who needs to stop in to reup on groceries.

This Walmart is TERRIBLE. the parking lot and inside the store were both trashed and it doesnt look like anyone goes out there to clean up throughout the day, when we went at 8pm nothing was stocked up, literally nothing. It looks like they only stock up the store once a day throughout the entire day. After we finished shopping a really loud alarm came on and one of the employees mentioned someone tried to open some door, but seemed no one made an effort to turn it off. Overall my experience here was just bad.
