I took my Subaru in for a brake check earlier this (2021) summer. Big O said not only did I needed new brake shoes but new rotors as well. I was told the rotors were severely grooved. The price tag was super high so I said I would think about it. I called the Subaru dealer in Idaho Falls to get an estimate for the same repair. It was $375 less! I made an appointment to get in right away. Bottom line - Subaru told me that I did NOT need new Rotors and my brake shoes were only 40% worn. They replaced neither. I had the dealer change my oil and I left. Since then my brakes have been fine and I have another 3500 miles on my Subaru.

I stopped here while driving on a trip with a bunch of friends and I needed my tire replaced and it took them 2 hours to get my car in the shop and I had all my friends waiting on me. These guys don’t have any concept of time. The staff is friendly though, they did a great job you’ll just be waiting a while.

I’ve gotten a variety of work done on my car here over the last three years and am always impressed with the timely and quality service you can expect here. They include a free 22 point inspection with their oil changes which is really nice.

Bought a set of tires last year at this location - came back this year and noticed that one of the tires had been wearing very unevenly. Presented this issue to the Manager Rob and while he had to go to bat for me with mgmt was able to get it warranted and therefore replaced at no charge. As a result I went ahead and bought three new tires so I’d have a matched set. I was very happy with Rod’s professionalism. Since this incident I’ve sent several referrals to him. Thanks Rob.

Overpriced, no sense of urgency with horrible attitudes.Big O in Jackson prays on vehicles with break and tire issues at the bottom of the pass. Hoping this review helps you avoid the same mistake I made by blindly trusting this tire/brake shop. Three main issues with Big O in Jackson WY:1. Price - They charge about double average national pricing due to their high rent. Every other large chain will keep their pricing somewhat consistent... not Big O in Jackson.2. Urgency - Upon check in, I was told 24 hour turn around. My breaks were replaced 5 days later! There were no apologies... just shoulder shrugs as they could care less.3. Attitude/Service - The manager was unapologetic and took no responsibility. I wish I would have shopped around as theres a few other options in town. The icing on the cake was the oil change: I asked (and paid for) an oil change. It was apparent that it was overlooked as I didnt notice until we passed through town. Easy to overlook as they were super busy without urgency.Find another tire/break option if possible!

There are few things more alarming than a hot smell from your car on a cross country trip. I stopped in here after the pass and the man who helped me was quick and helpful and SO incredibly kind. Highly recommend!

They helped us with some tire issues while we were up camping and needed 2 new tires. They were busy but I showed up 30 minutes past when they said the car would be done and I sat there for close to another hour and a half while the car sat in the bay with no one touching it or looking at it so I guess it was done and the guys were just in no hurry. In that time a friend of a worker came in with a rim that needed a tire and it was done on 10 minutes even though the guy left. The front counter service was friendly and nice but tech service was terrible and slow.. I worked in a tire shop for 2 years I know how it is people need to be patient but this was just lazy working and not finishing work on priority. Only gave 3 cause they helped us and the front desk workers were nice and helpful

They COULD NOT care less about you or your broken car. They will not even attempt to do a car scan to help you determine a potential problem you may have. Completely senseless and do not care about people.

Big thank you to the folks at Big O. Came in with bad treads on a rental car and they female at shop was very helpful with documenting and record keeping to get the right approval from the rental company for replacement tires. Brought in the car around 9-10 AM on a weekday and had everything was done by 2-3 PM.

I had a flat tire on my camper during a vacation trip. I fought Jackson Hole traffic to get to this store, just 8 minutes before they closed. I offered to return the next day to get my tire. They instead stayed open later to get my tire replaced before my 500 mile trek home.Great service.

I gave this location one star four months ago and it is still applicable today. I decided to give them my business again in hopes that things had gotten better. In return, my only vehicle sat in their parking lot over the weekend because “someone forgot” to leave the keys my car. We discussed the game plan for after hours pickup over the phone AND in person. I paid in advance and there were no other issues with the car for it to be held all weekend. I go into the store Monday morning and kept being told to “hang on a moment” by staff that are too busy to give me my keys. The mistake was blamed on “new people not reading the notes.” What other notes are they not reading? They threw my tires away the last visit when the notes said to put them in my car. I expect more from a big corporation and I will not be spending my hard earned money at a place that does not appreciate return business and can’t seem to read the notes for each individual’s car.

They need a lot larger place to help visitors with problems that they have while traveling! I goggled Les Swab and this is where it sent me, Im sure that if they new that people were being turned away they wouldnt be happy! Just saying!

Ken was an absolute savior. Our rental car tire got a nail right before a winter storm and he put our spare tire on for free, plus he gave us phenomenal suggestions that saved our trip. They are very busy and yet he put out time to help us. Assuming this service applies to all their work, I would say this is a great shop to get work done.

They were busy busy and behind I was told, would take 4-5 hours. I was out of there in about 2 with my new tires. . Super friendly staff under pressure. Definitely thumbs up.

I’ve dealt with mark for years, so when I came in about a week ago i was excited to see a new face. The new gal at the counter (sorry I forgot your name) was obviously new and has a lot to learn but she was very attentive and polite. She was super bubbly… Which coming into a tire store That is usually full of men was nice to encounter as a woman… When I came back later I dealt with another new face. Axle who made him self known as a manager was not so attentive and polite. He did not seem very knowledgeable and was extremely rude to me and my daughter. He seemed to be on some kind of power trip. I hope that the owner of Big O sees this and either corrects his behavior or puts him in the shop installing tires so he is away from customers. I will return but will not be dealing with Axle.

I was travelling through Jackson from out of town with a rental vehicle. Developed a small leak. Mark and his team were great taking care of me and getting me out in a timely fashion. Highly recommend Big O Tires.

Rob and Jaimie at Big O are AMAZING. We had a bulge in our tire and therefore needed to replace four tires unexpectedly while vacationing in the area. They ordered the tires we needed, got them replaced the next morning, and had us safely on our way quickly, fitting us in while they were already busy. Today we had two tires go flat on the passenger side of our rental car... apparently we ran over something that damaged both tires on the same side. We had the vehicle towed to Big Os where we found out they were so busy they couldn’t get to it until tomorrow. Busy is good! They have a good reputation in Jackson since we were told to come see them by a local. But we are on our honeymoon though so the idea of the “next day” sounded horrible. But when they heard it was our honeymoon they said they would get it done by close today. We are so grateful since finding a place to stay tonight was going to prove pretty challenging!!!! Thank you Big Os!Update: we just went back to get our car and get back on the road... chatted with Mark who helped us while he got our paperwork together. Then he handed it to me and said “Hope the rest of your honeymoon goes well.” I looked at the invoice... no charge. I was floored. These folks are first class. Can’t say anything for any other locations, but Mark and the guys in Jackson are amazing. What a wedding present.

Had a large mechanical failure on the axel they were working on immediately after leaving the shop, and they offer no help for it. Ruined two tires and caused other damage to our vehicle

Wish there could be a zero star. We got there an hr before closing with a nail in our tire and wouldnt get us in. Over 2 thousand miles from home on a Saturday and wouldnt even help out. Girl in back office, kept yelling were done for the day. Come back Monday she said.

Visiting from Iowa for our honeymoon and had a leaking tire in Grand Tetons- called and said they could get us in right away! They got our tire fixed in and out in maybe 45 minutes! I had my parking brake mechanism lock up/freeze on one rotor, and apparently no other mechanics in Jackson work on weekends. On a Friday afternoon, every business I conferred with told me Id have to wait till Monday to even get my car looked at, let alone worked on. That wasnt exactly an option for me, considering I had to check out of my hotel and be on my way by the next morning. Thankfully, I was able to hobble my car over to Big Os, and Mark was very helpful in making sure I was taken care of in a timely manner. I left my car overnight, and they worked on it first thing the next morning, and resolved the problem for me with time to spare! I even noticed they filled up my tires to spec without being asked (my TPMS light finally went off). Thanks again for your help.

Love the team here at the Jackson Big O! Everyone is always so helpful. I have come in for a few oil changes - and for a few quick random coding/tire issues - and the employees I have dealt with are always willing to go out of their way to help me - even on busy days! A+ for customer service here.

Few weeks ago I had flat tire while at my vacation and asked for Big O’s help. They inspected and had to change all my tires because they were all close to breaking anytime. They got me tires at a reasonable price.After returning home my Toyota garage found that the tire numbers didn’t match and they had to replace them with the right ones. I then got stuck with 4 big o tires. I called the owner Bob and explained the situation. He was super nice and understood what was going on and helped me with every step of the way to return the tires. Bob and the manager mark were following up every step to make the whole transaction smooth.In the end I got my tires returned and got refunded. However I am very happy with overall experience working with Big O tires. They are real professionals and compassionate business people. I totally recommend this shop.

Very busy place that does not make appointments so expect to spend hours getting tires. Their location is such that the parking lot is very tight so be careful if you are pulling a trailer. Expect to pay elevated tire prices since being in Jackson with not much competition.

We picked up a bolt on our 5th wheel camper on our vacation. They were able to order us a new tire and install it, at about $60 more than my local shop cost per tire. That’s what it is being in that situation, but when I got home and finally looked at the rim, it was deeply gouged up in several areas. This rim was brand new as I got new rims less than a month ago. My fault for not inspecting them immediately. Very disappointed.

Visiting from out of town, had a nail in the tire. Service was good. The bathroom and waiting room were the cleanest I have ever seen in a Big O.

Pretty shotty service. The place where I work has used them years for there tire service and we are just down after all the problems we have had. We had to get over $2000 in damage to one of our trucks. We know it wasnt our fault since weve always let them handle it since were not just talking about your average pickup. Do yourself a favor and stay away. The guy that runs the front desk is a chore to work with sometimes too.

Had a nail in a tire and stopped in for a tire patch. The store was busy and I was on my lunch hour, they got my car in and got me back on the road quickly. Unfortunately, the balance was off on that tire, returned the following day and they worked me in on my schedule and balanced the tire. Im a happy camper.

Big O Tires is an honest automotive repair (tire, etc.) shop operated by true professionals. Had both my front tires replaced and the new tires re-installed back onto the rear. Had the same job done 12 months ago by another local shop, and they not only charged me charged me for mounting the 2 new tires, but also charged me for rotating the tires on the SUV, even though 2 replacement wheels/tires were already off the SUV. Big O Tires is great and theyve earned my customer loyalty.

Big lines in the morning to get your tires rotated out for winter. But the crew inside is opening early and doing a good job managing people and the work load...

Amazingly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable crew solved my traction problem. I thought I might need new tires due to poor traction in snow. I asked if they had great snow tires to fit my Audi A7. They did not have any in stock that Sat but offered to drive many miles to pick up a set on Sunday so they could be mounted Monday ( I was leaving on snowy roads Tue).Then they suggested the poor traction might actually be due to the snow that had built up in my wheel wells. They suggested I go to a car wash to high pressure spray the snow off and then test it before ordering a set of tires. I sprayed 4 + inches thick frozen snow off that was built up in all wheel wells so there was maybe only an eight of an clearance to the tires.Then I went to an empty snow covered road and found all my great Audi Quattro traction was back!The Big O crew of Stephen, Jeremy and Ken was more interested in helping me than selling me a set of tires. Great customer care guys! Thank you so very much!

Edit: They improperly put the spare access cover on my truck. Its now missing.These people actually repair flats when they can. Not pushing for new tires when its not needed. The people at the counter and the guy fixing my tire were very nice.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Had a tire issue while on vacation and stopped to have 2 tires changed. I was there right after opening time at 8 AM and was told there was just a couple cars ahead of me and it wouldnt be long at all and was shown to the waiting room. After sitting there for 3 hours with no update at all, I walked out to the parking lot to find my car still hadnt even been pulled in to the shop. I asked what was going on and was told they had gotten busy and would get mine in right away. Nearly another hour later, a different employee asked me which vehicle was mine and said they were going to get it right in at that point since it still hadnt been touched. Finally, after spending over 5 hours in the waiting room, they got my two tires changed. On top of spending nearly an entire day of my vacation sitting in the waiting room of this joke of a tire shop, I was charged $50 per tire more than what every other tire shop or online retailer charges for the exact same tires. Avoid this shop and their lying counter man (Mark) at all costs.

Passing through the area and noticed the tread on my truck tires was getting pretty worn. I called and was excited to hear that they were able to get me in the following day first thing in the morning. The tires that I wanted were not avaliable upon arrival yet listed as an option on their website. Then was informed that the ONLY all-terrains they had were Big-O brand tires. These tired were also more expensive than the more heavily rated tires I was initally looking to purchase. My tires absolutely needed replaced though so I had to go with what was available with having limited time in the area. Was asked if I wanted an alignment (which is always recommended) and would be an additional $90 which is a fair price for an alignment. Then was told about an additional charge for resetting the computer after the alignment which I thought should be included with the alignment. Initially told the wait time may be 2 hours to complete since I had one of the first appointments and arrived early. After 5 hours I finally received the paperwork (no explanation on the warranty) and was out the door. I will say they provided friendly service throughout. Water/coffee for the wait and they did have Nextflix available to pass the time. Other options available in the area. Recommended shopping around if time allows.

I have been a Big O fan for a number of years and obviously have found the company good to work with. However, this summer I had a flat, got it changed and continued my drive to Jackson where I decided it was time for new tires. Clearly I chose a model of Big O and thought it would be taken care of. I was told to have a seat and well get your car in...I waited patiently for a while and only when approaching the counter did I receive, oh, sorry, we dont have 4 of those. One will have to be ordered and will be in tomorrow. Try to get in early. I drove over at 7:30 only to find there was a huge line in front of me. Although my car was moved twice the tires werent installed... (oh, people get here at 7:15 so you should have come earlier). Guess it didnt matter because my tire didnt get ordered anyway and was supposed to be Monday. I was told to call at three as the orders come in about 10. Well, at three there were a zillion people in front and again, no tires. If I hadnt had previous good experience with Big O I would have left then.. At the end of days of wrangling I ended up with 4 tires I didnt want. They werent what I ordered, nor was I asked it was all right. If stars were given for inept, rude service this place would rate a 5 plus.

We are from Nashville Tennessee and were traveling from the grand Teton Mtns. We had an issue with our tires on the camper and Big Os helped us first thing on Monday morning. They had us back on the road in no time. Great service at Jackson Hole location!.

The best service Ive ever met. I had a big problem, or rather a few. The first is my weak English. Im from Europe. It was not an obstacle that everyone wanted to help me. Had bent rim from a pothole in the park about 15 miles from Jackson. 8 hours from home with no spare and 19” rims makes it hard to get with your vehicle, but they went above and beyond and helped me find a rim and tire that would work to get us home instead of pushing us to the side. I think it was rob working on our car, but either way they saved us a whole lot of time and even a whole lot of money! Without them we still be there 3 days later. Could recommend these guys enough.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! While traveling out west, I purchased two new tires from the Big-O Tire store in Jackson, WY and within 8 days both hubcaps on the wheels of the new tires came off, resulting in the permanent loss of one of them. I immediately contacted the Big-O store in Jackson and was told by the manager, Mark, that he would make it right upon my return home in Georgia. Once I got home, I called Mark who said he would find and ship me a matching hubcap. After about ten days, I had not heard anything, so I called Mark again. At this time, he said he was shipping the new hubcap via UPS the next day. Another 10 days passed and no hubcap arrived, so I again called Mark, who said he had shipped the hubcap the day after he had last talked to me. I asked him if he had the tracking number so we could track it, and he said the receipt was in the accounting department and that he would see if they could find it. Not hearing from Mark for another week, I again called, and Mark told me they could not find the tracking number. I then went to my local UPS store and told them what had happened and they checked their computer and could find no record of anything having been shipped to me in the previous month. They also told me that if Mark would go to the UPS store where he shipped the hubcap they should be able to retrieve it for him. In addition, I was told that even if Mark did not insure the hubcap, it would be automatically insured for $100 if the item was lost (Mark said he paid $100 for the hubcap). I conveyed all this information to Mark, and I never heard back from him. I guess we can all draw our own conclusions. Fortunately, after more than 2 months after returning home, the Big-O corporate office reimbursed me for the hubcap. I can only hope that they passed the cost on to Mark.

I called just a few minutes after opening and spoke with Mark. He was very friendly and based off what I said, knew exactly was I was looking for. I brought my car in and within a few hours Mark called to let me know it was done. Mark told me the time frame and what to expect and it went exactly that way. Im very appreciative of the customer service I received and Big O Tires is where Im bringing my vehicles from now on. Thanks

Mark and Travis were great. Both are very knowledgeable and were willing to help me out as I had issues with Big O in Idaho Falls. Break caliber went out on the front right. They got it fixed quick the next morning and gave me a loaner truck til it was fixed. Great customer service.

One team member, Kenneth Bird, even let us borrow his personal vehicle to run errands while ours was being worked on! To sum it up - great people, great service.

Excellent service... Excellent tires. Had new Big O brand tires put on my 4Runner and Subaru Outback during the Fall Sale... Both are remarkably smooth running and quiet. Handle great. Ive been here twice in the last month. They DID fix my problem but I was disappointed with the customer service. Neither time were any employees wearing masks. And the second time I stood in the lobby for 5 mins before being greeted. I was the only one in the lobby and there were 4 employees (no masks) talking amongst themselves.

Would do a 0 star if at all possibly. Long story short. Go to the shop you trust. Not ones that charge the least and smile to try and get away with anything. Big O Tire you might say, well I say Big O LIE!

We were on vacation staying in Jackson, Wy. On our way to Yellowstone, I ran over some glass and car parts from a previous accident and in about an hour our low pressure light came on. I took my car into Big O in Jackson expecting to have to buy new tires. They checked all tires and found them in good shape, just a little under inflated. They could have stuck me with buying a set of new tires and I would have never known the difference. They were very honest and very friendly. They didnt even charge me for checking the condition of my tires!!!!!

While visiting the Grand Teton National Park, we ran over a screw. We had a portable pump in the trunk and were able to keep the tire inflated for short periods of time. The rangers recommended Big O Tire in Jackson, WY. When we finally made it back to Jackson there were 18 cars ahead of us. Mark told us he didnt have a replacement tire for our size and automobile but he would work us into the rotation, inspect the tire and repair it if possible. At 1630, Mark called with the good news that he was able to repair the tire. Mark and Big O saved our vacation.

Solomon and the man who rotated our tires (Im sorry Ive forgotten his name) were so, so kind and generous towards us. We have a diesel school bus that shops are generally not excited to work on. Here we were dealing with real, caring people. Big O not only took us in, took care of our tires, even checked our rear lights, they were interested in our project and sent us on our way skipping out the door. Thank you thank you. I recommend this shop to all!

Tried to scam me, told me I needed new a 400 dollar oil pan as the threads were stripped. So I ordered an oversized plug for $10 and it did the trick, car works great. Dont trust these guys...

Fantastic experience here! I had a pretty bad leak in my tire, so I pulled in and the staff (Salomon was working the front desk, great guy😁) was super nice and helpful. They pulled my car in right away and let me watch whatever I wanted on TV. It was done pretty quickly, they fixed the tire and checked all the other ones including the doughnut I rolled in on. Definitely happy with this place, if I need another tire fixed I will definitely be coming back!

My family and I have been using Big O for all our tire needs. Recently, I have also relied on Big O for some mechanical needs as well. Mark (manager) and his crew are excellent! I will take my vehicle(s) no other place. Always given best price, timely service and attention, always 100% satisfied and beyond with their work. Truly, a professional run business!

I came in with a rock that had punctured my tire and theymtook care of me in a quick and reasonably priced manner.I was during the virus outbreak and there were signs and sanitizer everywhere.They were on top of it.

Call 3 separate times to confirm they had the tire I needed. When I showed up they told me they didnt have it.

The guys here are great got me out of a jam fixed my tire at the end of the day on a Friday so I could stay on the road even though they were backed up. I would recommend them over other tire places in town.

As always, Big O is my trusted go-to place. They are fast and most importantly, kind and empathic. After the third time of getting my wheel bearings changed in 3 years, they decided to look deeper into the problem. They didnt want to keep selling me the same product if it kept breaking. Robert at the front desk immediately recognized the problem, listened to my concerns, did research, and was able to find me a different product. We are visiting from Southern California and discovered that one of the valve stems (inner dually) was loose and leaking about .5 lbs/hour. Mark made sure we were taken care of… we are in great shape and feel confident in continuing with our travels.

These guys are pretty good and have some of the more competitive prices in Jackson for things like flat fixes, tire swaps and oil changes. But they do not have a great reputation for service, particularly quick service. They are what they are, not a terrible place but also at the same time not an amazing place either.

We had brake trouble on a road trip, so we just showed up at Big O first thing Saturday morning. The guys were great. They got us right in and assessed the problem. Turns out we needed rotors and brake pads replaced in all 4 wheels of our Toyota Tundra.The guys finished the work excellently and quickly. They kept our trip on schedule.We’re now nearly 600 miles away from Jackson Hole and we can tell by how the truck drives that the work was done well.If we lived nearby, we’d use them all of the time.Highly recommend.

This place is awesome! I was on my way to South Dakota and my car broke coming down the mountain pass. Every place in town couldnt get to it for 2-4 days except Big O. They got me done in 6 hours!! Was able to make it to my next gig on time and the price wasnt too abysmal either!

Clean well run shop with plenty of staffing. They were busy but they got us in and out quickly. They were friendly and knowledgable and had what we needed and helped us quickly.

Had an appointment for an oil change at 8 a.m. Asked at 9:30 a.m. if my car was done and they told me it would be out in a few minutes. Who takes a full hour and a half to do a oil change

I know these guys get a bad rap but I have to say that they have always gone out of their way to make my experience a genuinely good one. They have price-matched, changed my tires in a rush and stayed open late just to meet me. If you are kind and respectful, they respond the same. I have had great customer service every time and purchased many different sets of tires through them.

Great customer service and support. They were super busy the day i went in with a nail in my tire. Told me that it was about 4hrs. It was raining outside with nothing to do that day.I waited for a few hours. Next thing I knew I was done. Will be getting a new set of tires from them. Next time Im in the area.

Absolutely amazing service! I drove into Big O Tires 15 minutes before closing on a Saturday hoping they could help me with a tire that had lost 25psi in the last hour and a half. To my surprise, they took my vehicle in and in 12 minutes had the wheel off my truck, diagnosed the problem (a bad valve stem), put in a new valve stem, and told me there would be no charge. So very, very thankful for their great service. Without it, Id have been stranded a couple hours from home until Monday. Thank you, Big O Tires!!

They saved our day...we didnt feel comfortable going to Yellowstone without a spare tire on the rental RV...we arrived at 4:30..by 5:30 it was done.

I dont know what everyone is crying about, but these guys were great! They were very friendly, very helpful, and very quick. Try walking in with a smile and maybe youre experience will be better. If we werent from Iowa, these guys would be our go-to.

Ive used Big O Tires for all of my tire needs in Jackson. The work has always been exceptional, and the staff is friendly.

I was from out of town and got Big O to change the oil in my truck, they worked me in and they did a good job.

I would give them zero stars if I could. Horrible customer service and extremely questionable business practices and ethics. Would not recommend for any patch jobs or if you feel like being treated fairly and appropriately.
