The best bait and donuts in the area, always friendly and willing to help. Also their fishing inventory is really good for such a small shop. I thinks it’s the best bait/ general store in the area.

Best Ice Cream Shop Ive been in in years! Soft Ice cream in over 20 flavors served in homemade waffle cones. Delicious combination of flavors available. Hard ice cream locally made and scrumptious. Very modest cost less than $7.00 for two hungry patrons. Go out of your way to find this jewel if you are in the area.

Small convenience/bait & tackle store and sub/ice cream shop. Great little place, havent tried the sub shop yet but the ice cream shop is great. During the summer it is crewed mostly by High School girls from nearby East Jackson so in the spring and fall it may have odd hours based on events at the school. Generous scoops and specialty ice cream treats are available.Highly recommended.

So delicious! Never hard costing on soft serve! It was strawberry coated with chocolate and banana! Basically a banana split! Highly recommend!

Holy cow. Prices are great, tastes delicious, and the guy behind the counter was awesome. Being new to the area, I hadnt found a good mom & pop ice cream shop. Found it here. They have a couple tables inside and outside, parking lot isnt crunched, and they do serve more then Ive cream. Thanks for the first thing to remind me of home in years. Ill be back

Their soft serve ice cream is absolutely amazing!!!They have a large amount of flavors to choose from and mix together. The apricot peach combo is really good if you like fruity flavors.

I love this store. Its a midwestern party store, but they have a great little fishing/ice fishing section and live bait/minnows. They are also attached to a little bakery and ice cream shop that are equally nice.

Quite simply the best party store in Michigan. They have everything you could possibly need for a weekend out on the lake with your friends. The interior of the store was recently redone and the staff are always nice and friendly. We call it the chum bucket and have been shopping here for years.

I find the Minnow Bucket bait shop and more store to be definitely ONE of a kind, outstanding live baits to fresh donuts. I like how the store reminds me of a General Store back on the day, alittle bit of everything in a awesome laid out displays. I always find myself amazed every time I go in . Everyone needs to go....... alittle taste of back in the day......thanks to ALL who makes it work.

Loved this place, absolutely wonderful ice cream, I accidentally dropped my boyfriends cone it was a waffle cone and it broke and the ice cream fell on the parking lot, and they totally replaced it, really nice people.

Update: *** We we fishing for perch and pan-fish on Cassidy Lake. This dog-fish ended up on my blue-gill pole! Got a bit nervous when my rod went in the water and bent under the boat***First visit to this great little gem of a shop. Bought everything we had on our list, plus a few other cool things we couldnt pass up! New minnow bucket... (Really! No pun intended, lol). Cant say enough good things about their customer service. Ask for 5 doz minnows, and I swear there were atleast 2 or 3 more dozen than 5! Looking for something out of the ordinary or havent been able to locate something you really want/need... give these guys a visit... if they dont have it, theyll try to get it. If they cant get it, theyll try to find someone who can! Keep up the great customer service, guys! Youve perfected the awesome, old-school, do-unto-others, way to run a business and stay afloat with all the big-box stores trying to take over! Keep the Fish On!

Stopped in to get ice cream about 20 minutes before they closed. Was not acknowledged other than with a dirty look when we walked in. Horrible service the whole time she was making our ice cream she kept giving dirty looks throwing a towel. She was upset that she just cleaned the machines and had to use them to make ours. Odered at cyclone and she handed me a straw with it. It was so soupy. Then again another dirty look on our way out.

Best bait shop cookie shop in Jackson County. Kanuson in Brooklyn is over pricedand they count minnows, never saw the such.
