Wonderful place! The nicest lady owns & runs the place...she will be 90 years old on 6/26/2021...her name is Georgia, she was a delight to talk to on the phone & a delight to meet, my only regret was that I had dropped my mom of for a doctors appointment so I was im a hurry.

Called a week ago an ordered a part for mower. Paid over the phone for part. Called twice this week an this lady will not help out at all. Will not check to see if part is there. Said they are to busy an only 2people work there. WELL HIRE MORE PEOPLE. Guess this store an people that own it just stole my money. Anyone reading this think twice about ordering over the phone. I had to give a start aleast one wish I could have given not a one. Never will do business with them. Guess they needed money an had to get it one way or another.

My husband and I went to Western Auto, South Jackson, Tn. today to look at lawnmowersThere was an elderly lady helping a customer, she was the only one at the front of the store. I bet we waited 30 minutes or more and a couple of men ( that were employees) came out from the back of the store just as the woman had finished helping the customer. The employees acted like we werent in the store. Another man came out from the back of the store, he stopped to talk to the elderly lady. Another gentlemen entered the store and we were about to walk out the front door and the lady acknowledged us and asked what we needed, Herky told he we wanted price on a lawnmower. Then one of the guy employee that came from the back earlier offered to help the man that came in after us. She attempted to look up the price of the lawnmower, which she couldnt find. There were two desk behind the counter, so cluttered, I dont see how they could find anything on the desks. I guess that they didnt have the information entered into the computer...She took name and number and would give Herky a call. I dont really look for her or anybody else from Western Auto, to call Herky...They probably lost Herkys number, since she wrote it on a small piece of paper. The lady said that they were shorthanded, but yet 3 employees came from the back and came to the front of the store, and didnt offer any help what so ever. So So Sad...They dont deserve 1 star...

This place is proof that you dont have to treat people right or be very intelligent to have a business!You can get better service and better prices elsewhere. Buying anything here that requires regular service is a mistake and you will regret it!I drive 40 miles to get tune up kits for a mower I bought here, they are 3 miles from me.Really frustrating experience here EVERYTIME!!!

Went in today. All we wanted was a 3/8th bolt. Looked at us like we had two heads. Said he had to have a part number and told us to go to Lowes. Its a bolt. Its not that hard. We did go to Lowes, and the service was a million times better. Im sure the little 3/8th bolt was much cheaper there, as well. Ill be contacting the parent company. Plus, in a county where masks are required, the guy wasnt wearing one. Terrible service!

Never been there. I normally buy anything they might sell, online or at tractor supply. Really wanted to give them a try since I live so close but Ive heard only BAD things from everyone I know that has been. Super glad i read the reviews and BBB comments. Seems like terrible people running the place.

I bought a 50dl coil, that was defective from factory. took it back the next day to get another coil, the customer service staff(Jeff) said that I broke it when it was not how it happen, they do not give money back, and I did not want the refund all I want it was a replacement. The old lady, the owner said I was lying to her because she believe I needed a mechanic that know how to do the job right. She went and talked to her provider and told a Spanish Lady was complaining. She does not have culture or work ethics, very rude and disrespectful. Do not buy Here again.

Bought my zero turn from them 3 years ago. Georgia the owner is one of the best and oldest business women in Jackson Tn . The pricing and knowledge of equipment is second to none. Their parts department has everything you need to keep your mower serviced. They also offer service after the sale if you need it. I highly recommend this place !!!

Refuse to honor warranty on brand new mower even though manufacturer requested that they do so. AL is no help at all and rude. Once they get your money you dont have a warranty, you are stuck. I wish I had never heard of Western Auto, Georgia, or Al.

I took a weedeater that was under warranty along with a copy of my registration for it. The registration info was somehow not documented by the guy who took it. Upon return the hateful lady working there proceeded to tell me that it was me who had failed to bring my info and not them failing to write it down and then proceeded to announce to the store that my wrong doing was the reason.for the long line and how it was costing her money. I dont even have words

The manufacture told me to take my push mower in because they were their service center. I was told that it may be a diagnostic fee but if it was something under warranty I would be reimbursed. The man at the store who is related to the owner told me that he was sure it was the carburetor and it wouldnt be covered under the warranty but my cost would only be $37.50. He also said no it wont cost you the price of a mower. He was instructed to just check to see why my mower would not stay cranked. I told him to call when it was ready but he said he would call before that because he would let me know if it was covered by the warranty. The only call I received was today 4/26/19 after over a week and the other (black) man said that my mower was ready and when I asked the cost he said $74 something and I said what happen to $37. h said well they sharpen the blade clean the filter and change the spark plug. So I waited until I got there to ask more question and the Lil old lady that owns the place tried to over talk me was rude and disrespectful and then they tried to lie, she said they sharpen the blade then tried to change it. Then she wanted to tell me they were the only place you could get your mower fixed and I should want it fix right and she went on and on and then tried to tell me Christians shouldnt argue over a few dollars but you cheating me out my money. Then when I ask for a copy of the paper it suddenly disappeared and the black man brought it to the counter and the old lady had it. So the grandson he caused the problem and never said a word goes and take a picture of the tag on the mower and comes back and make a detail paper which made no sense because they charged me $57. and something for labor and 4.99 for filter and 4.99 for plug but my total was $74 something. I have not had this mower a year, I purchased it last year in June at Walmart and used it all summer and when I got it out over a week ago I couldnt get it to crank. Will never use them or Walmart again for equipment or repair. After reading comments I now know it was Al who lied and stayed quiet and the lady is Georgia who is so rude and disrespectful. I also see other people had problems as well and one person said they charged them for services not required and the blades hadnt even been sharpen. Something needs to be done about these people. SAD!!

All things Husqvarna and snapper. Knew exactly what I needed by description, just wish they were a tad more competitive on the prices, but I understand. I would rather pay a little more than hunt all over and spend it on gas or talking to people who dont have a clue, (Walmart-Lowes) Almost a 5, almost.

Do not take your Husqvarna lawn mower in for work here because there service is awful! Had my mower in with only 30hrs on it for throwing the belt off. They told me it was due to grass caked-up under the deck. They charged me 203 dollars and replaced the belt because they claim they broke it during testing...looked to be cut is my opinion so they could charge me to replace it not under warranty...60 dollars for belt and 75 to put it on. Could done it myself if they would told me. Claimed they sharpened the blades...got home and looked at them and still rusty never touched!

I dropped off two push lawn mowers for servicing on a Monday. The repair manager, Al, told me they would be ready on Friday. Two weeks later I had not heard from them and I called. Al told me they were not ready, had not been looked at, and it would be another 10 days or so before they would look at them. Then he got upset with me for saying that would be too long and I couldnt wait any more. Al was certainly not customer friendly. Find another place if you need your lawn mowers repaired.

Western Auto is the only place in Jackson that i know of that sells centrifugal clutches and i was waiting for service, which is really sluggish and unprofessional, while i over heard someone else complaining about how the four wheeler they bought for their kid was falling apart(something about a the front wheel just fell off). id prefer to go somewhere else
