I love going to the drafts at this place with my brother, and during the virus, it has been really fun to go play on Saturdays every week. Also the selection is great with many games and tons of accessories that you can put on your cards or have a nice mat that you can play on. The workers at this store are really nice!

I like supporting local game stores and was here for my aunts wedding. I get that the mall closes at 8 and there is a mtg draft that needs to get going but I was about to spend 200$ and I needed a minute to look up a card and make sure I was buying the right booster box and the guy at the register said dont take too long Ive got a draft to run. He gave me my minute but then didnt give me a bag and when I asked for one he just gave me the bag and said sorry Im in a rush bag it yourself. Pretty weak considering I just spent 200$ and to top it off, if it wasnt for me taking that minute or two the guys that showed up behind me while I was might not have been eligible for the draft a)adding to the stores take for the night and b)adding to the enjoyment of the draft. There probably should be two employees on game nights and if there usually are and someone called out or something the very least the guy should be able to adequately accommodate the few seconds it takes to bag a 200$ order of that size(booster box and 4 collectors packs). Like I said I like supporting LGSs because they need all the help they can get right now but dont make me regret supporting the business on my way out the door like I just didnt spend hard earned money there. 4 stars because place seemed cool but not giving me a bag, making me bag my own order, and rushing me when Im about to spend 200 bucks is pretty weak.

Im only leaving a 5 star cause the place looks interesting from the outside. Google said they were open until 5pm on Sundays (as of 5/23/2021), but I arrived before 3:30pm and they were closed. I think they are no longer open on Sundays and by using Google search to find Tabletop Game stores near me it appears the information is out of date. They have no sign indicating hours of operation visible on the store front. Guess my passive perception is deteriorating with age. Ill try and stop in the future to expand my adventuring.

My fiance and I enjoy playing Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh and went here for a while to buy cards. Usually service is great, however the markup on product is getting to be a bit much. They charge by the pack on sealed booster boxes. There has also been an employee there lately who tries to discourage us from buying Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. When we ask for product, he says he doesnt know why anyone would want that. Then pauses and mumbles about how he shouldnt be discouraging people from buying cards. This has happened three different times so its not an accident. But its a good shop if you like D&D or Magic the Gathering.

The store is very big, and all the employees are very friendly. Joey the manager there is a great guy. Always makes me laugh.

If you are looking for something more interesting than your standard board games, this is the place to go. I was very happy to see this location open in Ithaca and I am happy to shop here and support a local business.

Love this store. The owner is very nice. They have quite the selection of games in store, and they have an online store where you can order any game you want. Thousands available to choose from. You can even choose to rent a board game So you know whether or not you want to purchase the game. They have tournaments quite frequently. Very reasonable prices.

Always a great shopping experience when we visit our local game store. Great Escape Adventures has all the board and card games you could think of and then some. On the off chance they dont have what your looking for all of the employees are more than happy to special order what your looking for. They are incredibly knowledgeable with their products and incredibly helpful if your not entirely sure what your looking for.

The staff a Great Escape Adventures are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They have several dedicated tables for tabletop miniature games to use, four tables at the time of writing this review, as well as plenty of tables and chairs to play card, board and role playing games at. There is a fairly large selection of demo games to play that seems to increase in number every week. I have never once felt pressured to make a purchase for using a table or playing a game. I would highly recommend this store to any miniature, board, card, or role playing game player.

Its a great FLG (friendly local game store) and they have good cheap dice for sale. The owners are really nice and sometimes hold Magic tournaments. They also let you play games at the tables. They also have funny, geeky t-shirts.

Large selection of games from many genres. Reasonable prices and a very large play area. Everything a local games store should have.EDIT:have been going here for friday night magic: the gathering draft many times and i can say that they truly have a passion for the MTG community. LOVE THIS PLACE

Decent place but good luck if you decide to sell any cards to the shop they buy at an astonishing 30% market value and its store credit only. Plus if your looking to go play some matches or an event then its extremely lucky if more than 8 people show up.

I love this store! They have a huge selection of games, and a nice D&D section with all source books, pre-primed minis, and dice. The prices on the minis are very fair.

This place is awesome. Fills a hole where the Enchanted Badger used to be. Staff is wonderful, huge selection.

Ithacas independent gaming store, and the de facto center of the towns board gaming scene. Sells all your standard board gaming stuff - Magic the Gathering cards and other TCGs, dice, Warhammer and other model-based games and associated hobby supplies, and board games ranging from the common to the niche, as well as t-shirts and other miscellaneous trinkets. The staff is helpful and supportive, and sometimes willing to play games with customers. The Magic scene here is really strong (which may be annoying if you dont play), so expect to be able to find a game nearly on-demand. My only complaint is that they havent built that escape room theyve been talking about since the place opened.

Looks pretty awesome... not sure if Im gonna come out of my shell and become a regular patron or not.

Great store and helpful staff. They have a huge selection of games and books for DND. they also have events on certain nights like magic the Gathering Yu-Gi-Oh and I believe others. If you were a lover of all things nerd and dorky I would definitely check this place out.

Love this place, one of the only stores you can get practically the full Warhammer miniature range offered online in a game store in this area of New York. Plus they have a ton of paints there for your armies as well.

While they have a nice selection of nerd culture (pop culture shirts, collectable games, tabletop games, card games) they dont appear to have any customer service. We tried to buy shirts but there was no one at the register, just some people nearby playing a tabletop game. No one offered to help. No one appeared to be in a work unifrom. We looked around the store and found no one. After a few minutes we left the shirts on the counter and exited the store. Very bizarre.
