I had the most wonderful experience at Rebecca Schoneveld selecting my dress with my mom. I knew that I loved the ethos of the brand (size inclusive, locally designed & made etc…) and the gorgeous studio in Irvington didn’t disappoint. The privacy of the appointment allowed me to truly focus and the ability to browse dresses and discuss options made the experience intimate and fun.Rose was warm and clearly loved her work and was very experienced in the bridal industry. We left feeling equal parts confident and excited in my choice. The new 2022 Collection is stunning. I ended up choosing a dress as it was designed but the customizations are a wonderful feature.Located right by the Metro North, this studio is easily accessible from Manhattan. I highly recommend the trip to any bride. I can’t wait to come back for my alterations (all done in house)

I got my wedding dress from Rebecca Schoevelds previous shop in Brooklyn, but I wanted to share a review here, because Rebecca really was the genius behind the gorgeous dress that I got to wear at my wedding. Rebecca actually designed my dress uniquely for me, as I came into her shop and like different elements of a number of her dresses. And I couldnt have been happier with the end result. I had THE MOST lovely time at Rebecca Schonevelds studio. It was a beautiful space with beautiful light and my mom, my friend and I were the only ones there. Their attitude towards bridal design and the shopping experience was honestly so refreshing and such a relief. Rose was so supportive and friendly and made me feel immediately comfortable and completely listened to and respected.Rose pulled the dress that I ended up choosing and it was a dress I never would have chosen for myself. These people know what they are doing! I had a great experience from start to finish and I cant wait to keep working with Rose and Rebecca and see how my dress turns out!

I couldn’t have asked for a better bridal experience! From the moment I first emailed them I knew this was the place for me. Rose was so kind, attentive, and patient with me.She listened and pulled so many options for me to try. As a plus size bride this went above and beyond my expectations - not once did I feel like i was choosing from a limited sample or squeezing into a sample size that was too small. We were just shopping for my wedding dress like all other brides do.The dresses are truly stunning and you can mix and match in so many ways - which is what I did since i liked different elements of different dresses. You got the whole space to yourself and the boutique is right on the Hudson. It’s truly perfect! I cannot wait for my first fitting and I can’t recommend Rebecca (and Rose) enough!!!

Rebecca was amazing! So kind and wonderful. I worked with her on customizing my gown and it was an amazing experience. She was great at listening and then coming up with the perfect concepts and fabrics to make my vision come to life. Her dresses are intentionally constructed which in turn make them so flattering. Her pricing is so reasonable and I can’t believe we were able to customize a dress and keep it within my budget. It was such a magical experience and I would recommend Rebecca and her gowns to anyone looking for their dream wedding dress.

So thrilled to have just purchased my wedding dress here! I am a plus size bride who was trying to find a dress that would work with a unique family veil, and the staff could not have been more helpful and creative. I ended up with a gown with some custom features that I could not be more excited about, and an experience that was honestly just far more pleasant than the more standard bridal salons I went to. One of a kind experience to get a one of a kind dress :)

Rebecca and Rose have been amazing to work with! They were so sweet and made me feel like my vision is really important to them which is not something I felt going to other bridal salons. I love that I was able to work with the designer directly and she was so open to everything I wanted to do. I can’t wait to see how my dress turns out! Having a dress that will be unique to me makes it feel so much more special.

Rebecca and Rose are a dream team. I had the best experience visiting their new studio in Irvington. In addition to them designing a second look jumpsuit, I also found the most comfortable, beautiful dress that I didnt even know could exist!! I cant stop thinking about how the dress fit my body so well!! I had tried on so many uncomfortable wedding dresses at other bridal shops that were also triple the prices. Rebeccas creations are gorgeous, for REAL women and bodies, AND affordable. I feel beyond lucky to have been referred to her by a friend, who also had a wonderful experience. I recently visited Rebecca Schonevelds studio in Irvington and was blown away by the experience. After striking out at large, crowded bridal salons in NYC, my RS experience was calm, fun, and so personal as I was the only bride booked in the studio at the time. Not only are the dresses stunning, but they come in a wide variety of sizes. The RS team can help bring your bridal vision to life and are great at listening to your wants and concerns. I bought my dress at my visit and cant wait to begin the alteration process in a few months!

I visited Rebecca Schonevelds shop in Irvington yesterday and was blown away by the experience. I had been to a few other wedding dress shops previously, but the expertise, personalized attention, and quality of dresses was heads and shoulders above what I experienced elsewhere.I was the only bride in the shop and Rose did an amazing job guiding me through the experience. From the first dress I put on, I was stunned and felt like I was going to have a very difficult decision to make since every single dress was incredible. But Rose paid close attention to what was working for me and was able to make customization recommendations that ultimately created the perfect dress for me and gave me that ah hah moment that I was told to expect but wasnt sure would really happen.On top of having gorgeous, high quality dresses, Rebecca Schonevelds brand is designed for inclusivity and offers customization at an accessible price point. I never imagined that I would get to collaborate to create a dress that brings together all of my favorite elements of the dresses I was trying on before visiting this shop, and I absolutely cant wait to see it when it comes in!

I originally contacted Rebecca in March, as I saw a beautiful dress on an Instagram Ad and a Facebook Ad. I clicked on her website and was so happy to see that it was part of her size inclusive collection. I am a plus size bride, so when I began to look for a dress, I was nervous since I knew that there is not as many options.I continued to look to see if the specific dress I liked was located anywhere near me so I could try it on. I did not see it at any wedding boutique, nearby. I decided to contact Rebecca directly to see if she could help me. She was super helpful! She let me know unfortunately since it was part of her 2020 collection nowhere currently had it. She did let me know there was a similar dress in her 2021 collection, but if I had my mind set on the dress I saw she would remake a sample for me to try on in her Irvington, NY location. She let me know she could have it done as early as May to try on, but I waited until July since I am an October 2022 bride.Fast forward to Saturday, I walked into the beautiful waterfront store and met with Rose. She was so amazing. Upon trying on a couple dresses, she knew exactly what would look good on my figure. Also after explaining what I liked on certain dresses vs others she picked up quickly on what I was looking for. After trying on a couple of different dresses, I said yes to the original dress I saw online and I couldnt be happier with my choice.As a plus size bride Rose made me feel super comfortable and beautiful in every single dress I tried on!There were many things that drew me to Rebeccas beautiful dresses. I loved the fact that you can totally customize your dress if you wish to, I loved that there were so many beautiful size inclusive dresses and I also loved the fact that her dresses are not only beautiful, but also super affordable. I have nothing but positive things to say about my whole experience and would definitely recommend Rebecca Schoneveld Bridal Atelier to every single bride.

After lots of internet searching and one mildly disastrous in-person appointment elsewhere, I took my mother to Rebecca Schoneveld’s bridal atelier in the lovely village of Irvington, NY, with hope of finding “the one.” I had been starting to stress over this purchase and immediately upon arrival, Rose, the sales associate who helped me to find my dream dress, made me feel relaxed, informed, and special - reminding me that after all, I’m the bride! Rose was awesome to work with - an industry veteran who expertly guided me through the process and encouraged me to see myself in lots of styles.Every single item I tried on felt good on my body. Rebecca’s pieces are so well-constructed but still light and easy to move in. And as someone who has a curvier figure, there were samples of just about everything for me to try on and they fit me perfectly. That made a huge difference in the whole experience because I didn’t have to just imagine what everything would look like if it fit properly. Sometimes if you’re not a size 4, you have to have a pretty good imagination. Not here.I ended up selecting a gown that I had been interested in from seeing it online, but it wasn’t what I had expected to choose. It’s so magical and feels meant for me and I would have never known had I not seen and tried it in person. I love it so much I don’t know how I’m going to not show a photo to my fiancé before the wedding!I can’t wait until the gown comes in and I cannot wait to walk down the aisle in it! And I would recommend a visit, to absolutely any bride. I had a perfect afternoon there, in every way.
