Been on the hunt for good gyros in my area and this place was great 😋Very generous portions for the gyros and the meat was tender and delicious. Fresh vegetables too. Hummus was tasty. The baklava was sticky but also very good. Friendly staff and good prices, Ill be back!

Im half Greek, grew up on Greek food. I live and work just a few miles away. Ive eaten there dozens of times and the food and service have always been great. And they dont skimp on portions either.

I ordered the beef skewer rice bowl and it was such a disappointment. The rice was bland and there was just an overwhelming amount of it. It filled the whole container. The steak itself had a good taste and that’s about it. There was hummus and cucumber salad and it was ok as well. I love Mediterranean food, but this place just wasn’t it.

Good food, clean place, reasonably priced but a distinctive flair needed to rise above the competition in the neighborhood.

Ordered for the first time today. Gyros was fine. I paid $2.99 for an ice tea, no sweetener it was a small. I also ordered fries and onion rings. Some of the fries were day old and some fresh cooked. Very strange! The onion rings were either over cooked or day old reheated. I am giving 2 stars due to the Gyros being good, everything else awful.

The gyro was very fresh and delicious. Greek salad was very good also. Almond Baklava was amazing and soft, and sweet. I did not like the hummus, something tasted weird about it. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very nice. I like that you get to choose sides other than fries.

I have frequented to this place for some great Mediterranean food and I definitely endorse this restaurant. My go-to is the falayro because it gives you that Mediterranean omnivore experience of the delectable lamb and scrumptious falafel. I fully recommend Gyro Oasis as their ingredients are fresh and delicious. I happen to love their hummus and pita; probably the best I’ve tasted. Overall a great place.

If you like baklava this place has a good selection but its not that good. People must be desperate if they think the gyros are good, few meat on a cold pita. Very expensive! No greek dressing for the salad only some honey mustard watered down concoction. All in all theres much better places in the area to eat. I wont be back..

Food was very amazing. My wife & I ordered our lunch 2 days ago from gyro Oasis. Gyro Oasis has been in my list since years. Finally got to try their food. We ordered chicken shawarma plate, which came with a side of saffron rice & hummus & pita bread (you can pick sides from the option in menu) & chicken gyro plate with a side of potatoes. We ordered a side of a coke & a brownie. Food was ordered by #Foodsby and it was delivered to our apt hot & on time with a bare minimal charge. We loved everything. Quality was great. Infact I made 2 wraps out of a single wrap. Definitely portions were huge. Distinctive flavors & fresh ingredients. Loved their hot sauce, tahini & specially tzatziki sauce was outstanding. Definitely will go back personally to try other options. Gyro Oasis is added to my list of favorite restaurants in Irving. Price was also reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap. The chicken lacked seasoning, the taziki sauce was not good at all overall wrap was edible but nothing special. They used iceberg salad mix for the lettuce and yellow onions was told adding feta was an additional cost. Total was $6 before tax.

OMG. This is awesome. Excellent service. They prepped it just how I asked. Theres not many places to get this style of food. Its laid out so you go down the line and have it done exactly how you want it with full view. I always ask for extra cucumber sauce whenever I order a gyro, places never follow through. This was done perfectly. I wish there was one close to my house .

Ever since we moved to Dallas we have been looking for good gyros joint. This place hit the spot with their gyros and gourmet loaded fries. The owner was very hospitable and courteous. Our family thoroughly enjoyed Gyros, Philly and gourmet fries. We will definitely be back and highly recommend for halal Gyros in Dallas. Took some pictures of dishes.

Decorated very oddly. Several surfaces were dirty. The cooler holding all the veggies is an old piece of equipment from a Subway, just very bizarre restaurant. I ordered an entree they didnt even know how to make. They kept on looking at the menu to see what went on it (facepalm). Came out looking and tasting awful, gyro meat was cold. I would stay away.

Gyro Oasis provided a catered lunch with sandwiches individually wrap, delivered on time, took pride in the setup, made sure we had plates and plastic ware and overall just did an excellent service! The food tasted awesome especially the baklava! We will be using them again since they proved they can be counted on!

Update- have gone back several times and the food/portions were great 👍I usually go here and have always had a great experience. Today I went and ordered the same thing I always do, the gyro platter. I was given the gyro sandwich with 2 sides. The gyro meat was much less than the platter normally has, as it was the sandwich. The bread it came with was cold as well.

I’ve had lunch here on three separate occasions, and every time the food was fresh, tasty, and remarkably reasonable pricing! My favorite has to be their lamb kebabs, and I have to admit the gyros were great and you can smell them cooking on the rotisserie when you dine in.

I had a dead insect in my food container. It did not stop me from eating my beef kabob but I couldnt finish the greens that came with the combo. If it wasnt for the dead bug would have rated 4.

The falafel was really nice. I liked the Tahini and the garlic sauce as well. The shawarma I tried was a wrap not a roll. The taste was nice but I would have liked it better if the chicken was a bit more well done and softer. It wasnt chewy but it was not as soft as I prefer. This review is based on my taste and preferences which may vary from yours. The hospitality was nice and the place was clean and pleasent.

This place is okay, but I dont think I will return. The pita felt stiff and kind of stale and the Falafal was very cold in the center. It had been frozen and then not cooked long enough to reheat it. The gyro was decent and very filling.

Not sure what to say about this place. I only tried once and it was not very pleasant experience. My Gyros has some sauce felt as if it was not even food. I ate that knowingly and regret when I think about it. I think the people who works their, may have certain stereotype against certain culture and they provide very poor service, sort of a slave mentality. I would not recommend this place to People from South East Asian background.

We’ve eaten a few times at “Gyro Oasis Deli & Grill” because the food is authentic and really tasty. The service is equally great because every time I go, they welcome you having a smile on their face. I highly recommend this place

I had a great experience at this restaurant. Excellent selection of gyros kabab and many more delicious things. I will definitely visit again next time I’m in Texas. I would highly recommend it for anybody that appreciates high quality food and good atmosphere.

Walked in with middle eastern music playing in the background so it added to the ambience. The place is clean but nothing fancy and had some middle eastern decors. Imagined it felt like eating in a regular diner in the middle East. Makes it more authentic I guess. Ordered the gyro lamb wrap combo plate and it came with a choice of two sides(chose the hummus and Greek salad). Got my order in less than 5 mins. The portions were pretty massive for what you pay for so I got more than expected. The wrap was pretty good and tasty. Its not out of this world or anything but good. The hummus and salad were pretty great as well. So I gave the place a four stars since the food werent mind blowing but its still a good bang for your buck if you want some decent Mediterranean food.

Great small diner with good food. The place smelled like a home kitchen and we watched from the corner while our food was made. As the name implies, Greek is the best fare, although French Fries and onion rings are available to accompany chicken beef and lamb. Baklava is to diet for! Diet for a week before you consume this honey drenched succulent delight.

The salad comes with some sort of watery, mustard dressing (NOT honey mustard, literally watered down mustard) that over powers everything in the salad. It was not listed on the ingredients on the site I ordered through. For a $13 salad I kind of expected more.Response to the owners comment after two months of silence 5/19/2020: the dressing was just as I described and NOT listed in the ingredients. I ordered through Foodsby and the price, at that time for the salad I ordered, was $13! The restaurant did not offer alternative dressing options through Foodsby. That is the restaurants responsibility, not the site I ordered through.

So happy I found this spot while searching on google. They give really nice portions. And the desserts were delicious.

Prices are low, which is good. $5-6 for a basic gyro or falafel. And when I say basic, its basic. Very little filling in my gyro. Service was ok, but I think they had a new person learning. Plenty of seating at lunch. More parking around the side.All in all I paid 12$ for a gyro, two sides and a small tea. Not too bad, but normally the gyros are bigger at other places.

Gyro meat was tasty but the portion size was so pitiful that I can honestly say, this place is not worth your hard earned dollars. Add $3 for a combo? My buddy tried the onion rings. He was served 5 ring shaped fried somethings (didnt look like onion) directly on a foam container that melted from the boiling grease. Spicy potatoes were not spicy. This place needs to step up its game.
